I had such a great experience as far as service but, i tried to get my friend in and there was a guy out acting like fake security grabbing my friend so ugly. “Teddy” helped de-escalate the situation by kicking out that drunk out of the establishment. This bar is such a great place to be out with friends.

In spite of the reviews, my group of friends made arrangements to meet here for drinks & snacks late Sunday. First, this is a bar. When you walk in the front door, you will be carded. (I’m over 60 with gray hair and gray beard. I was carded.). I have no problems with following these rules. It shows if a business watches the small things from the beginning, they will pay attention to the Big things. We hadn’t sat down when a waitress (Chelcie) was there to take our drink order. Yes, she did ask if we wanted to run a tab and explained if we did she would need a credit card. Our service was wonderful. She was always nearby We never lacked for refills or food. She also insured our tabs were correct with no errors. We sat inside, the bar was perfect for watching the games but quiet enough to carry on conversation. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our time there and we will be back.

Let it be known, I normally receive exceptional service from this location but I think it was Courtney, walked past me multiple times tonight. Tending to only what I assume were her regulars. Ordered 3 beers through the bar back and was never greeted, talked to, or even glanced by the bartender at the 1 hour I was sitting at the bar top. Id avoid later at night unless the regular bartenders are serving.

Fun place stopped at for a minute. Good esthetic, fun outside area, clean and well laid out.

Stopped by here, during a work trip. Server’s name was Cali, (spelling) only had the chips and dips food wise, queso was good, salsa was definitely made by a gringa. Beer’s were cold. Waitress was amazing! Best service I’ve had in the Permian.

Great chill spot with outdoor patio and big tv's for the game! Always my first stop when going out for the night!

Staff is very friendly. Dog friendly as well, bring your dog to the patio! Lots of beers on tap as well. Frosted mugs and pint glasses. Food is fresh and good as well. Live dj for music on the weekend! Patio is huge with lots of tvs and games to play.

Came here to watch the fight in the middle of the day, was pretty packed but got right in, ordered chips and salsa... finally a salsa that was spicy. The burger was small but had some good flavor. The fries were.....ugh...I didn't really enjoy the fries. The bartender was friendly and had great service. The waitstaff moved about in an attempt to keep up with the busy crowd. All in all a good experience.

We had been hearing about this place so a group of friends decided to give it a try. We were very impressed with the whole atmosphere. Great service and great food. Talee was absolutely awesome. Definitely on the ball. She knows how to make her cocktails. We had a the best time. We WILL BE RETURNING SOON.

I can’t say enough good things about Kourtney. She waited on me again Saturday for the 10th or so time. Her chilton’s taste like she makes them in Heaven. My husband and I have gone and had great experiences, but this is girls girl that makes me feel comfortable to have a couple hours alone at the bar when I’m needing a night out and he’s working. When I tell you she’s good…if she opened her own bar, it’s the ONLY place I’d go!

Kourtney is an absolute LEGEND behind the bar. Hands down some of the best drinks we’ve ever had, every single one was amazing. She also had us try their Texas hot sauce and WOW… it was unreal. We’re still craving it and will definitely come back just for that. On top of that, she was fun, engaging, and actually knew her sports, talking basketball with us and keeping the vibes high all night. We left really disappointed and pissed off tbh. That said, we decided to give it another chance, and LINDA 🤍 completely changed our minds!! She was quick, attentive, and an absolute sweetheart!! Surprisingly very good food!! We didn't know what to expect. We were just looking for a different place to have a late lunch. Our waitress was great!! The selection was minimal on food, but the prices were good!! It's a good place to drink and watch sports. Tv's were everywhere and it looked like every kind of liquor a person would want!

Came here for Wednesday Steak night and enjoyed a decent steak while watching NBA playoffs. The waitstaff is usually nice, but it can take a while to get waited on because they seem short staffed. I do like that they have a smaller menu as the previous one had too many options that were not prepared well.

The patio is fantastic as well as a wide selection of beers on tap. The food is pretty good for a chain and is relatively consistent. Only knock is getting a drink or food over the weekend takes awhile. Although this might be a product of the city of Midlands massive population growth and difficulty with staffing in the area.

Did not have any food. Cool looking atmosphere people were friendly all kinds of sports, playing on many of their big screen tvs. Love the fire pits🔥 Definitely a place to check out!

Honestly, this is a food chain so nothing is perfect but not a thing was bad or unpleasant. Best of the the servers are bomb. Hope those folks are well care for by the chain.

Chips & Salsa were good as were the Wings. Their Hot wings are not spicy, more of a mild flavor but really good and not over drenched. Huge selection of ice cold beers.

Came 2 days in a row. The first day, Ramsie took great care of me & my friends at the bar. The other bartenders were somewhat attentive, but kind of standoffish. We came back the next day, and Ramsie still had the same great energy! I ordered a double tequila shot, watched one of the other bartenders pour it, and know for a fact it wasn’t a double (I bartend as well lol). Later found out that this male bartender is the manager. Other than that, the vibe seems cool. Great patio area. Moz bites are super good! Wings were a 5/10. Patio area was nice. The bar backs were friendly. Security at the door was nice.

We stopped in on Sunday despite the weather and had a pretty mediocre experience overall. Service was just okay, and while the drinks weren’t bad, nothing really stood out. We decided to give it another try on Tuesday, and I’m so glad we did. Kourtney was our bartender, and she completely turned things around. She made the most phenomenal Chilton, exactly what I needed, and her service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. We ordered the fried pickles, which were good but nothing spectacular. Still, Kourtney’s smile and great service made the entire experience feel worth it and reminded us why giving places a second chance matters. We will definitely be back just to sit at the bar and get another drink from her.

I want to give this 4.5 stars. 4 stars doesn’t seem fair. So I busted in today for lunch. As a lunch joint it’s simply 4 stars at best with typical bar food. However, little Woodrow’s excels as a bar and is a 5 star bar. I can’t recommend the wings here. I’m not even sure if they were wings haha. Fried pickles on point. Next time I’ll try a burger. Supposedly they have “damn good burgers”. If you want a drink with friends… then this is a top notch place. Great outside seating and TVs everywhere. Heading in for a burger next time.

I came in about 6pm on a Thursday not to busy, but it was really hot, looked like a great patio but not I 100plus degree heat ( it's summer in west Texas I bet it rocks in December). Service .... im not sure not busy I sat at the bar, and I was back burner to I'm not sure who... Food- my club sandwich was 100% on point very good, with a tasty but unique sauce or something there very buttery the cheesy fries though ... well some of it was melted, very good home style tasting ranch. The Tea... McDonald's does a better job. The Bar -- a lot of various beers i saw on tap... on duty so no beer for me, I would have killed for yuingling though and they had it on tap :(.. It looked like a nice happening sports bar at times better temperature times, parking might be a issue when packed. Ots of Tvs, good music, especially heard a good selection of Texas Country to various pre-20teens rock. I walked In no- doubt don't speak playing with the vid on a couple of Screens, walked out playing Kyle Park. waitresses service could improve a lot, but other than that it was a good experience. Menu -- forgot to grab a pic, but only 1 page various bar foods, burgers sandwiches and probably a little mote I failed to notice... I went for the club sandwich as per Google advice -- I would go back, not high expectations but it was good enough.

It was an okay experience. I would go back to eat lunch and have a beer. The manager was very friendly and knowledgeable about the selection of beer. Our server was decent. I tried the Irish nachos and they were good. The only complaint I have is the seating. It is hard to get a table or a place at the bar. So we sat on the couch. I think there is definitely room for improvement in food quality and timeliness of getting your beverages. Midland is not known for its great customer service or quality places to eat. The one thing I liked was that it is 21 and up. As a mother of four kids sometimes when my husband and I go out I want to be around only adults. This place provided that and it's in my neighborhood.

So I have been to this place more times than I care to tell you. My most recent experience has probably been one of the most pleasant I have ever had. They supposedly have a new manager. The drinks were good and the service was pretty good. My 3 star is based on my past bad experiences, but I am hoping with a few more visits, my opinion will improve!

The food was good. The service was a little slow, but the ruin was the loud music being played in the middle of the day. I'm on my lunch break not out on the town. I couldn't even have a conversation with the people I was with.

Great beer selections and cool mixed drinks on tap but that's where the good new ends. Service was so slow and sporadic that even though it wasn't busy my drink as well as my companion was often empty and no sign of the bar tender. Food was pricey and not all that good.

Chicken sandwich was SO good. Crispy chicken and fresh veggies. Fries were pretty good. But other than that: my friends went for the crawfish boil, but that's not my thing. They had it advertised at 2pm but didn't have it ready until about 4pm. Service was not great. We went during an off hour, so it wasn't busy, but we saw our waitress only a few times. Bar was out of supplies to create mocktails. I think it would've been a cool place to hang out at in the evening. The back patio area looked fun. Fire pits, lawn games and plenty of chairs. I had a couple of Lyft drivers tell me about this place. I decided I would come give it a try this afternoon. Unfortunately, this visit wasn't worth the hype. I initially sat down outside for a few minutes. I elected to relocate inside due to the A/C from the open window and the breeze. Pretty cool spot outside, even though the door says over 21 only and there were kids playing. It's the daytime so it didn't bother me. I sat at the bar and waited for service. The daytime bartender saw me, continued to serve and interact with another patron, requested their payment, processed their payment and eventually made their way down three seats to ask me if I wanted something to drink. I ordered a beer and when she brought it back, she asked if I wanted to keep it open or close it. I asked if y'all served food. She said yes, and had to go get a menu. I handed her the card to keep it open. I ordered food, then shift change occurred. Food arrived and was set down next to an empty glass. The bartender didn't ask if I needed anything. The other bartender came by about a minute and a half later to ask if I wanted another beer. Yes, please. Sliders were dry and cold. While I know they are smashburgers, they aren't supposed to be so dry and cold. I had two (2) empty glasses and the 2nd night bartender - the same one who delivered my food - asked the couple a few seats down if they needed anything, but didn't even glance my direction. I went the bathroom and returned to my seat. I ordered one more round and asked for the check. The 2nd night bartender happened to check on the people a few seats down again. I caught her eye, and you could see the irritation of being disturbed. She reluctantly came down to ask if I needed anything. I asked for the check again. While I left a decent tip due to the holidays, I wouldn't typically have left that after the service received. It is the holidays though. Pros: multiple TVs, beer and a pretty cool outdoor seating area; Perception: great service if you're a local and / or a guy Cons: slow service, dry & cold food; If you're not a local or are a girl coming in solo, don't expect 4⭐️ service from many of the bartenders

Food is great. Location is great. Service is consistently terrible. I love going to the Woodrow's in other cities, but this one always has issues. Went today to have a drink & order some food to go. I sat at the bar and waited 10 minutes for one of the 5 bartenders to ask me if I'd been helped. I ordered a drink and asked for a menu. Brought my drink, took my order, and then promptly forgot about me for 58 minutes. While this was happening, there was an altercation at the front door, which has happened 5 of the 8 times I've been here. I was eventually able to wave down another bartender and asked about my food. She walked to the back, brought it out immediately, and walked away without giving me my check. I checked my order before I left and it was awfully cold. I paid my tab and left. This could be a really good place, just like all the rest of the locations. Right now it isn't.

The place is really nice especially the outside patio concept. The major downside though is the extended wait during peak times. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to get a drink due to the minimal waiting staff working these times. Each time I've gone, the atomsphere gets worse and worse. Just avoid the peak times and it's a good place!

Please improve the service. Very nice place, the beer and the food are good. Great screen on the back. But if service is bad.. the experience is bad regardless of anything else you may provide. Waiting 15 minutes for service.. and having to call the waitress 3 times (ignored twice) is unacceptable in any service industry business.

Double check your bill and ask for prices. Asked if they had any specials going on was told no even though there were apparently (another table was offered) .. had a lot of extras on our bill that we didn't ask for.. ended up was about $25 over what we ordered. Gave us sides we didn't order but charged us for, ordered a drink that was made a double but ordered a single. Just seems like our waitress was just adding things to our bill without asking.. asked the waitress who basically was like, "thats what yall ordered?" just paid and left. 😕 just didn't leave with a positive feeling about the place. Staff was nice but wouldn't say customer service was the best.. probably wouldn't recommend as a first choice to go.

Came in here with my boyfriend while visiting from out of town, i was only able to get ONE drink before the bartender (not even our bartender) closed our tab after my bf tried to make a joke with the bartender about all the good alchohol being on the other side while stepping between the bar counter to point. I can't for the life or me remember her name, but she was a shorter female with a tattoo behind her ear. I normally wouldn't leave a bad review, but I've been here before and this was quite literally the worst service we've ever received here. Totally dampened my mood : (

I have visited several times in past 1.5 years when in Midland from Houston. Very familiar with what is to expect. The kitchen does a great! I normally sit at the bar and this visit the bar tenders were the absolute worst in any scale. I am talking about being absent. Have no idea how this is tolerated except the management was absent to! They just don't care or at least not tonight. Shame. I like the place but will not be back.

This Little Woodrow’s location doesn’t meet the standards of others I’ve visited. I ordered 2 beers from the tap and both tasted odd, a little flat and skunky. As others have said, the waitresses are not as attentive to customers as I would expect. The mozzarella sticks were good and the hot chicken sandwich was fine. The inside bar and outdoor patio space look like they could be a lot of fun on a Friday night.

Really disappointed in the menu change. The quesadilla is lacking in flavor along with meat inside, seemed like one ounce of chicken. The loaded fries were heavily covered in buffalo sauce, it's all we tasted. And the burger seemed too have no seasoning at all. The fries were so flimsy and lacking in salt. I work as a head chef for a kitchen here in Midland. Add a little love too the dishes, and check quality control, it will help. I worked here at opening of this restaurant as well, the menu was fantastic then. Maybe bring a few items back from then?

Woodrow's had great food! I had the wings, fries, and the pickle fries and they were all great! The atmosphere was very good as well. I showed up two hours before a fight night when the bar had a few empty tables so it wasn't busy but the service was HORRIBLE. I got to the bar at 7:30 and didn't even see any service until 8:30! I love this place but will not be coming back again due to the service. I shouldn't have to wait an hour for a drink. The service was this way the entire not. If it was not a fight night I would have left after 30 minutes of waiting for a drink. I probably saw our waitress about 3 times the whole time we were there.

I came for lunch and ordered a beer at the bar. I went outside to the patio area since it was a nice day. I wanted to order food, but in the hour and a half I was there not one single server came to my table. They went to every table but mine. As the patio area began to fill up they would walk right past me. Never once acknowledged me, asked me if I need a refill or menu. I would have left but my husband dropped me off while he ran to an appointment. When he returned I paid for my 1 beer and left. I did not want to lose my patio seat as it was filling up so I never went back to the bar. I wish I could tell you about the food, but never got a chance to order. The patio area is really nice though. I will try again next time I am in town and I hope i can give a better review. Had I been acknowledged I would have asked for a manager.

Beer was almost room temp. One bartender acted unpleasant with request until she stopped serving us all together, had to have another bartender take care of us. The food was subpar. Who has steak night with no steak sauce! The only thing nice about this place was the general atmosphere. I won't come back on my own request. San Antonio location puts this place to shame.

Terrible food first off. Good service from some great girls. Biggest problem with this place is terrible management. Bunch of young 20yr old dudes with no bar or bar management experience. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This isn’t the first time I’ve had awful service at this place. Frequently, I’ve been and sat for 10 minutes before the waitress or bartender would pay attention to me. They must teach them the maneuver to look around the bar and intentionally not make eye contact with anyone that actually needs something. Ordered a very simple chicken sandwich and fries. An hour later the bartender was explaining to me that chicken took a long time to cook. BS. This is the last time I will be going to Woodrow’s. Also, it wasn’t very busy when I went. I don’t even try if they are full. Parking is a pain. Just go to Bubba’s or wherever. Just don’t go here.

This is NOT the place for lunch. The menu is simple. There were some appetizers. Other than that, there is a chicken sandwich, a burger or wings on the menu. It took an hour to get our fried pickles. They were good. Almost another hour before we got our food. My friend ordered a burger and I got the chicken sandwich. Our food was ok. Not worth the wait. The waitress informed us that there was only one cook. No apologies! She could have told this at the beginning, and we may have gone somewhere else. We would have left, but she was never there. When we did finally see her again to tell her we were going to leave, magically, out she comes with our food! So it goes without saying, the service was bad. I can understand being short staffed, but there were only three tables in there and a few people at the bar top. What was really sad was that the people next to us ordered Frito pies that also took over an hour!

Sorry I had to edit my review...me and 2 freinds went there and the Waitress (Grace)....messed up all our tabs. I won't say the whole bar is terrible just that waitress. There were items missing on some Tabs and added items on other tabs that we did not order. Had the nerve to tell us we got it wrong. Maybe she needs more training.

I went here with friends and the waitress was adding drinks to our bill that we didn't even have. I was way o er charged and so were my friends. We kindly paid the tab, no tip because of the excessive charges and left. We did ask her why we were being charged for more drinks than we had and she just walked away from us.

Strongly expensive. Beer on tap is always smelly, apparently the system is rarely washed, it is not pleasant to drink it stinks of sour beer. Yesterday I was served by a disgruntled waitress, she didn’t smile at all the whole evening. I won't go again.

They charged my card twice!! Told the waitress my friend and I were to be on separate checks. Bill came and she charged me 88$. Has to explain yet again we were separate checks. She charged me 25$? Which was correct and she said the 88 charge will not go through on my debit card. Well i checked this morning and there’s an 88$ charge and a 25$ charge. Of course nobody is answering their phone right now, even though they are open. So now I have to go back their and try to get my 88$ dollars back. After that I will never be attending this place again.

My wife and I are new to the area looking for a place to enjoy our team… I was immediately suspicious because it was a perfect Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking…. I was impressed with the patio but still cautious because there were only a few people watching games and less than 10 people inside…. We ordered cheeses bites and they were really good! The crust has a a unique spice but is really good. Unfortunately it ends there….outside of the kitchen staff that I could not see, there were two employees, a bartender and a server, mind you this place has seating for 100+. I asked the server why there was only one server and she said we usually only have one in the mornings… it was 3:45 pm.. I found myself needing more ranch for my cheese balls, so I went inside to the bar… the bartender was putting up glasses, I made eye contact, smiled and she looked right at me and said nothing…. Not a dang thing… went right about putting up glasses…. No smile, no just a second, nothing… just you go the #%*^ away and leave me alone….. fortunately the lone server walked by and I made my request for more ranch and she was delightful…… we will not return….

Never got my food so I can’t rate that. Service was HORRIBLE. The server actually just charged someone else’s card at another table who wasn’t even part of our group for my drink order…which still wasn’t correct.

Sat on patio, server came over and had absolutely no knowledge on what beers you had. We asked to see a printed menu and she said they weren’t different than the ones on your website. Completely false. The printed menu had both a draft beer section and bottle beers list that easily tripled the amount of beers listed on the website. When we were finally able to get enough knowledge to order a beer it took about 20 minutes to receive the two drinks. Very unwelcoming, rude and completely unwilling to put in any effort to do the job at hand. Side note: there were maybe 15 tables in the whole restaurant.

Edit: I returned after 1 year and got charged $60 for 3 chiltons. Original: This place is really cool! They have a lot of games, plenty of seating, giant screen outside to watch the games. Our server was really attentive and our drinks were great.

It’s VERY hot or miss here with service. 99.99% of the time the waitresses there will not help you unless you are a man. They will watch you walk in and sit down outside and walk past you several times and try their best to avoid eye contact. There has been multiple occasions where me and my friend have had to wait 30 minutes on a slow day just to have to leave to find somewhere else to get drinks because the people at this establishment refuse to help a woman. There has been times where we haven’t got help outside and I went in to try to get drinks and they will still outright ignore you. They are the most unprofessional waitresses (for a bar) I have ever seen. I mean don’t get me wrong there are a few waitresses (very few) that I’m happy to get because they don’t ignore you and they actually help but majority of the rest don’t care unless you are a man. I think they really need to retrain them or just get a new staff. Definitely isn’t how a business should be ran.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Somebody wrote in a $100 tip on my receipt. I went back after I noticed the overcharge. I talked with the manager. He was super friendly, acted understanding and told me he would take care of it. He had me sign some papers and apologized. It's been 3 weeks and nothing has been returned. After reading the reviews, I'm now aware that this is a regular problem this establishment has. It's really unfortunate. I enjoyed my visit here, it had a great atmosphere and service. However, I can't support a business that allows such behaviours.

The service was less than expected from a place that I told was excellent. I sat at the bar at a not very busy afternoon, the attention to my drink way never refilled. My food was incorrectly made, and then was not removed from the table after the meal was finished up. My Waitress paid no attention to us as customers, basically spending her entire shift on her phone. I would not recommend this place to a friend.

I've been here maybe three times and each time the service is terrible. I came last week for my birthday. It was the only bar open on Sunday so I decided to give it a chance, despite the previous bad experiences. We sat outside and it took forever to get drinks. We also asked the waitress three times to turn on the fire before someone actually came out and did. I ordered a "ranch water" and they did not know what it is. I explained that it was simply tequila, club soda and lime. The waitress brought me a drink with flat water so I politely asked for it to be remade. Then without being told we got a new waitress -which was fine. I ordered a second drink (re-explaining how to make it) and once again it was brought out wrong. So I went inside and politely asked the bartender if she could remake it. She very quickly said "I am busy (the bar was not that full) and she rudely said "you need to ask your waitress." I politely said "Well I am trying to find my waitress but I do not see her." The bartender was very rude so I walked away and eventually found the waitress (Tina). Tina brought out my drink and I could tell there was no tequila in it. The bartender purposefully did that. I decided to let it go since it was my birthday and just order beer from then on. The night progressively got worse because at the end when we were paying out, my friend's bill was completely wrong. They had added extra drinks and chicken fingers to the bill. It is sad because this place has so much potential... but the customer service is awful and for me that is big. I will not be going back to this place.

Horrible experience. Horrible Service. Bartender was rude and dismissive. I won't ever have anything good to say about this place or the employees here.

Unable to get drinks ordered due to staff wanting to stay on one side of bar and hang out. Focused more on cleaning bar 1.5 hours before close than helping customers.

Disgustingly rude unprovoked service from the start. Bartender will walk away during ordering and ingore you for extended periods. I understand if bar is slammed but there was two couples besides our party. She then relayed to a coworker who provided emphasis on the rudeness threatening to kick you out the bar. Blurting out loud you're doing drugs in parking lot and bathroom. Will never go to little woodrow's again.

Good luck if you looking to just go out and engage new people, bartenders will 1000% ignore you even when the entire bar is empty!!!! Absolutely worst service ever! And after I closed out and tipped $20.00 on a $41.05 tab the bar tenders ignored me even though I was wanting to start a new tab

This place USED to be great. But I’ve learned if you’re a woman who goes and sits with your other woman bestfriend at the bar don’t expect to be waited on. It was not busy, it was 330 in the afternoon on a Saturday. The bartender had brown hair, chubby with no makeup, didn’t get her name. She waited on us one time and then after 30 minutes of her passing us by without checking on us. We had to grab her attention. She was very rude ! Even when she brought the 2nd drink, we politely said thank you and she just huffed and puffed and walked away. I’m pretty sure the owner would not want his employees acting this way.

Went there sat for a while inside & out, no one came to get our drink orders or even acknowledge us.

So we went a couples years back and I just remembered what the name of the place was (cause it’s not that memorable). The service was mediocre, food was eh and the drinks were hella expensive. The bad part though, was that the manager confronted us for a bad tip (think it was $10 on a $150 tab) but the reason was because they charged us 3 chips and salsa that we never ordered. That was like $18 of things they “just added” cause they probably thought we were drunk. So when I told the waitress that the other $15 of her tip was going to be paid to the restaurant and not her, she immediately regretted trying to up our tap on her bill. Instant karma.

Wow. 3.7 is generous. Saturday morning came in at 11am(they opened at 10am per website). Tables were sticky and not one waitress acknowledged we were there. Finally got a waitress to come to our table. She had no menus but asked us what we wanted to drink(???) After we asked for menus and a towel for the table, we requested the Texas Tech game be put on. After 15minutes she comes back and tells us her manager has the laptop with him but will be there soon. We waited another 15 mins, meanwhile order hasn't been taken. After 30 minutes of terrible (non existent)service, we left. *DONT COME HERE IF YOU'RE TRYING TO WATCH COLLEGE FOOTBALL or get served. As a general manager myself for bars and grills in Houston, this would never been allowed to happen at my place. 1 star is too much in my opinion.
