We love coming to Volcano in Midland. They staff is always happy to see us and quick to getting us a table. The food is great, defiantly have the egg drop soup and the hibachi steak!

The sushi was delicious and made to order! We also ordered a sweet peach sake and it was good! My husband and I loved it. The server was amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful, very relax, and enjoyable.

Everything about this place was so good! I got the dragon roll and takoyaki and they were great! Our waitress Nona especially was the freaking best!!! She was so bubbly, had amazing energy and was the sweetest person ever!! She drew characters on our plate with sauce and it was the cutest little touch! Make sure to request her when you go in!!

This place is really clean and nice. Service is good and the food is awesome. They have great lunch specials and I liked the sushi and the food here you can’t go wrong. The Sushi lunch special is an amazing value and the rolls are really good too.

My recent dining experience was exceptional. The menu offered a wide variety of sushi rolls, and creative fusion options. The food was rich in flavor and the presentation was beautiful, with each dish showcasing vibrant colors. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Overall, I’m impressed with the food, inviting atmosphere, and excellent service. It's a must-visit for any sushi lover, and I look forward to returning!

Awesome service. My flt crew and I decided to try this sushi restaurant instead of my regular sushi stop. So glad we did! Everything from the cleanliness to the open feel and delicious smelling food not to forget to mention our incredibly attentive and sweet waiter who took such care of me and my fellow crew members were all too inviting. I was first to order and the only one who ordered some appetizers. I chose to order the crab rangoon and soft shell crab appetizers along w/ a small bowl of wonton soup as a starter to my dinner. I loved and appreciated the authentic asian flavor of the wonton soup. Everything we all ordered was so tasty. I had to, of course, get a couple of 2 piece sushi items such as my favorite eel sushi and the tamago (egg) sushi along w/ the angel sushi roll. My fellow flight attendant Heather ordered the pineapple fried rice w/ chicken and beef on the account of her being allergic to seafood. She shared a lil' w/ me, and it too was delicious. Definitely recommend stopping by here for some delicious food and great customer service. I look forward to trying more of the menu in my future visits here.

I loved my orange chicken 🐔, I ordered it extra, extra spicy. It only came spicy, but it was still delicious. My wife ordered the kung pow chicken 🐔. She ordered it only spicy, but was disappointed, not spicy at all. O well. Daughters ordered Japanese beef upon soup. She said it didn't have any flavor. I tasted it I liked the flavor All in all enjoyed my meal. I'll be back.

I was pleasantly surprised! This was in walking distance to my hotel and had decent ratings so deciding to give it a try. I was alone and sat at the sushi bar. Their cuts are very generous and the sweet shrimp was delightful. I also enjoyed the presentation!! It was a treat to be able to watch the sushi bar create the rolls.

The service was great and the servers were friendly. I enjoyed the sushi burrito quite a bit. I haven't seen a sushi place have one on the the menu in many places so it was quite a surprise. The octopus was very good as well and I usually don't see it cut like that. I'd come back.

First time here. Place has great reviews! Service: Fantastic. Server was polite and fast. No complaints at all. 20% tip. Atmosphere: its probably normally okay, but during my time here, a male employee was at the front booth on the phone arguing with someone during most of my stay. That definitely ruins the vibe. Food: It tasted great, but a couple hours after eating, I began to violently expell fluid from both ends... not the best christmas surprise lol. Its 6am, no sleep, and Im on call 24/7. You are all i had to eat Yesterday. You guys have good reviews, so this was likely just the result of letting your A team take the holidays off, which im sure they deserve!. If it helps you track down the cause. I had chow mein with the volcano dinner special and soup. I came in around 2pm on Christmas. You have great reviews, so im sure this isnt the normal experience here. Merry Christmas.

Service is always great! Food is always consistent and tastes good. I wish they served iced unsweet green tea, though. High chairs need to be kept clean, though, but that’s unfortunately most places we go to with a young child. Overall, I always enjoy getting to come here.

Let's start with, I'm not a big Sushi guy, however, they have more to offer than that. Service was quick and responsive, food was hot ( and those that have read me before know that THAT is a peeve of mine)..there was 3 coworkers of mine and myself and we ordered quite a bit of appetizers, sushi and entrees.. Portions we're good sized, prices on the higher side but overall I'd give it a 9.2 eating..the only real negative would be the lack of ice in our drinks and refills were slow...I'd go back and refer friends..

Endured subpar customer service during our visit. Our order was consistently mishandled, and frustration peaked when the waitress, seemingly unaware of the menu, incorrectly handled our inquiries. A peculiar sense of racial bias emerged in the way my family was treated. It was disheartening to witness such behavior, especially considering the expectation of inclusivity. It's important for establishments to prioritize customer experience irrespective of ethnicity. Despite these setbacks, the saving grace was the commendable skills displayed by the sushi chef and cook. While the service was lacking, the culinary aspects exceeded expectations.

Host was rude. Serving size was very small for the price and the food taste like it was purchased frozen from Sam's Club and microwaved. A complete waste of $50. Editing this. A slice of beef tasted spoiled and I had to throw the dish away.
