Piacevole sorpresa per un aperitivo di lavoro. Per essere in zona di lusso direi che il costo è normalissimo e allonl stesso tempo la qualità elevata. Ottimo aperitivo, consigliato!

This place is small and hidden in the courtyard on Via Montenapoleone. I always come here for an aperitivo and I think it's one of the best places when it comes to appetizer selection. So I'd recommend stopping by during your shopping trip along Milan's most luxurious street to enjoy a cocktail (around €10 each) and receive a very pleasant set of snacks as a gift.

A great place to escape the busy traffic and noise. It’s like a hidden place where you can enjoy your time and relax. Illy always has a great coffee and they also have a great variety of sweets like macarones. A lot of seating available both inside and outside and the staff is also very friendly and fast. Enjoyed their filter coffee which you don’t have everywhere in Milan. Recommended.

Loved my coffee here! The Milan branch really delivers the perfect Illy experience — smooth, rich, and full of flavor. The vibe and service were great too, everything just felt right. Honestly, it makes the Dubai branch feel a bit disappointing in comparison… the coffee there doesn’t taste the same, and the whole experience just isn’t as good. Wish all Illy cafés kept the same amazing standard as this one in Milan! ☕🇮🇹

Living abroad, I miss the simple pleasure of a proper Italian bar. This place brought it all back instantly. The espresso was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced – exactly how it should be. The cappuccino had that creamy foam you just can’t find outside Italy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel like a regular from the moment I walked in. The fresh pastries were delicious, especially the warm cornetto filled with cream. For anyone visiting, this is more than just a bar – it’s a little piece of Italy’s heart and soul. I’ll definitely be coming back every time I’m in town.

Very nice coffee and dinner experience at the Illy Cafe on via Montenapoleone. It’s a full sit down restaurant as well as a coffee bar. The food was quite delicious. We had the risotto and the duck and it was cooked very beautifully. The coffee based cocktails was not very presentable but that’s a minor negative point overall. Service was efficient and unhurried. Pricing was slightly expensive but I can imagine why considering the location and brand etc. I will definitely recommend if you are wondering where to have quality food nearby and don’t want to fall to tourist traps. Or if you love illy.

Semplice caffetteria all' interno della via della moda anche se un po' nascosta presenta una location di lusso ma senza esagerare per l' aperitivo viene dedicato un gazebo carino ma piccolo e abbastanza stretto quando si e' in tanti aperitivo piacevole spritz eccellente al suo interno si trova anche il ristorante servizio professionale e veloce.

Cute shop. In prime shopping district so prices are higher. Expect 7-8 euro a coffee instead of 5-6 euro. No big deal. A bit short staffed since it was just one person waiting a ton of tables. Still good coffee and a break from the shopping.

Splendid cafe, great service, very kind waitresses. Its a neat cafe with fresh garden view, the food was very tasty. Unusual remark, us that the illy cafes dint have the same menu, i know we walked long distances to have the illy icecream cafe, which they don’t serve there, yet we were happy with what was available. We ordered pistachio croissants and a pain au chocolates. For tourists like ourselves don’t be surprised when the bill comes, just sitting on the table for two is 10€. Even when you order nothing , don’t ask me why its an italian thing. But in overall, the coffee was good, but not as much as good spending 10€ for air.

The Gal Travels

An adorable little cafe tucked away, and is a perfect spot to rest after all that shopping. I had tiramisu which came in a little cup, a good size for a taste of deliciousness. I had the cafe americano which was nothing to shout about. I think I will stick to espresso next!

Dropped in to buy some coffee as a souvenir gift. They have a separate store within to sell coffee and the staff was very friendly at assisting me with my purchase! Location is nice, being accessible at street level, and the cafe had a good atmosphere - I wish we had time to try some dessert.

One of the most fashionable cafes in the city. Immersed in a warm and reserved atmosphere, inside a courtyard of via Montenapoleone in the quadrilateral of world fashion, this location fascinates us for the mere fact of being there, to give us an environment where we can relax and meet people from all over the world. We stopped for an aperitif with friends. The location is really beautiful and alone does its show. The service is friendly, knowledgeable and fast. We chose three SPRITZ and they were done well, they also arrived accompanied by a plate per guest with a smoked salmon sandwich with cream of fresh cheese and poppy seeds, three baskets of bread, one with curry cream and dried tomatoes, one with cream cheese and sesame seeds, one with cream cheese with pumpkin seeds, and as a side dish beetroot slices with cream cheese and poppy seeds (at first glance I thought of bresaola, then approaching it I understood). All very nice. Price 54,00€ ... almost low, if we think we are in the heart of world fashion and in one of the most expensive streets in the world. I will definitely be back. It was an enjoyable experience.

C'è da rivedere il servizio, lento e assente. Location situata all'interno di via Montenapoleone con piccolo spazio all'aperto. Prezzi adeguati alla zona

Not the greatest experience, I'm afraid. Given the prices there, you wouldn't expect mildew in your fruit. The coffee, the presumed key selling point, was very mediocre as well. To their credit, the staff was very apologetic, and the interior design is flawless. Overall, I'd expect more from a place like that.

Il posto è davvero carino e molto bello, però i prezzi sono decisamente alti. Ho pagato 18,50€ per un latte macchiato, un succo di frutta e due macaron: direi un po’ troppo. Capisco che la location si paghi, ma con questi prezzi il servizio deve essere all’altezza. Non è accettabile servire un portalatte sbeccato: oggetti così andrebbero sostituiti, non portati al tavolo ai clienti.

My hot chocolate was way too thick, staff weren’t very helpful with choices and felt they were low key judging us as we got the drinks takeout rather than eat in. The barista was quite rude and cold, the server at the counter was more bearable.

Having too much expectation due to the Illy brand name. The order took long time to come, the cold / iced coffee came in a very small size.. totally different look vs the visual on the menu. Overpriced vs the overall offering. The food were 👎🏻 - sandwich was plain, the brownie was served with the plastic wrap and cold. Don’t bother to come here.

The service is slow. I waited 15 minutes for water. For how much more expensive the place is compared to other cafes it’s disappointing. The tiramisu had hair on top so immaculate attention. The tiramisu was the worst I’ve had in milan it was not sweet at all it had too much coffee in the pastry. The coffee portion was smaller than usual in milan. The place really is pretty but I don’t think I’ll visit again not worth the price and the 3 euro coperto there are better places around.

Nel servizio da asporto non riempiono mai la cup con il cold brew. Manca sempre un 20%. Nel momento in cui l'ho fatto notare mi è stato risposto che fanno sempre così.

Abbiamo preso due cappuccini costo 13 euri, servizio per niente al altezza dei prezzi, Abbiamo atteso per i due cappuccini poi la cameriere non ha portato acqua per accompagnare e quando lo abbiamo chiesto di nuovo abbiamo aspettato fino a quando mi sono alzata sono andata a chiedere al banco e me lo hanno dato, in bagno mancava sapone per lavare le mani. Se volete 13 euro per due cappuccini almeno il servizio deve essere a fuochi.

Il caffè marocchino più triste e freddo che abbia mai bevuto da illy. Servizio lentissimo e prezzi che non sono al passo della qualità. Unica nota positiva la location.

Arrivate per un aperitivo alle 19 nel locale interno praticamente vuoto attendiamo a lungo su nostra richiesta la carta delle bevande e dei cocktail che non era presente sul tavolino. La barrista molto gentile ammette di non conoscere la composizione delle bevande di cui si chiede e di doversi informare ma mentre consumiamo pulisce col vetri irrorando tutti i tavolini intorno rendendoci così la consumazione dei cibi e delle bevande al gusto di disinfettante. Nel frattempo viene lasciata aperta la porta di servizio su scope e carrelli, prodotti di pulizia.

Servizio PESSIMO,: nonostante ci fosse pochissima affluenza, trascorsi 20 minuti da quando ci siamo seduti in attesa che qualcuno ci portasse i menu; altri 10 per ordinare, altri 10 per ricevere due caffe tra l'altro nemmeno esattamente come richiesti; aggiungo che non ci aspettavamo di ricevere due biscottini di accompagnamento visto il prezzo dei caffe, ma almeno un bicchierino d'acqua si! Non commento i prezzi perché sono chiaramente indicati. Morale: mai più..peccato!

Avoid this place! I stopped here to rest and have a coffee after shopping, and I placed my shopping bag on the chair next to me. While I was looking at my phone, someone stole it and I didn't notice. When I told the manager what happened and asked him to check the security cameras, he said the cameras weren’t working. I asked him to call the police, but he told me I had to go to the police station (km away). I couldn’t go as I had a flight to catch. I strongly believe the staff are involved in these thefts. Stay far away from this place!

I came across this cafe whilst wandering around Milan. Thought the prices on the tv screen looked good, and even said out loud “€2.50 for a croissant, not bad”. I asked to sit-in, and barista said it was fine. What he didn’t reveal was that sit-in prices were DOUBLE the takeaway ones. I sat for 15 minutes waiting for someone to take my order (even though the cafe was empty). The waiter eventually arrived: I ordered a cappuccino and croissant. After 25 minutes I decided to change to takeaway because it was taking too long and I only had 1 day in Milan. However, the coffee arrived just as I stood up. The croissant arrived 2 minutes later. Food finished, and pressed for time, I went to pay and got a nasty surprise: €13 was the bill! I complained but the guy simply said “this is Milan, if you sit in it’s more expensive”. So I'd like to warn others - because the owner certainly won't!
