We went in around 2pm for lunch, we had okay service but they didn’t offer drinks unless they were alcoholic. They are connected to another spot where you can get coffee and ice cream but I just wanted a pop. We got the Rueben, chicken nachos, and shrimp nachos - it was like $75 before tip. This was one of the best Rueben’s I’ve had, and the chicken nachos were delicious. I don’t care for sea food but my fiance loves the shrimp ones. Definitely worth a stop if you’re hungry, bathrooms were clean and there’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Casual, perfect-for-any-crowd beach town cafe, with ample outdoor seating, fire pit, beers on tap and full bar. Food is upscale pub grub and seaside themed, with a Latin twist. Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich, likely more mildly spiced to a Marin crowd, but yummily fried and well dressed, served on brioche bun.
What a great little beach side restaurant/patio. The food was solid, but the vibe of the place was outstanding. The staff was efficient and friendly and the overall experience was fantastic. If you’re in Stinson Beach, give this place a try, you’ll be happy you did!
What a fantastic, beach-side joint!! I had the coconut shrimps and the Mrs went with a halibut filet tacos! Drinks were a little on the high side for the quality and the 2 servers we had interaction with would have rather been anywhere else than serving us. Nobody comes around to Check on you. (Big loss sale opportunity)
Absolutely stellar experience ! I travel the country and try my hand at shrimp tacos everywhere. These were hands down the absolute best I’ve ever had. Now after saying that the halibut tacos were even better !!! Absolutely huge portions, fresh ingredients and amazing flavor. Top that with great service and atmosphere you have a must stop experience
Great place to go after cruising the coast. Had a lot more seating than I anticipated, and the fire pits really made an evening meal comfortable. The wall of shrubs is pretty cool too. I ordered the Angus burger, it was definitely tasty and the portion was large. Dog friendly patio too!
One of the best patios north of SF. Solid reggae music, perfect weather, legit fish and chips. Speaking of which, $28 is a bit rich for some fried Cod and fries…. But hey someone had to drive it out here and supply/ demand is real.
If you go through Stinson Beach - stop at Breakers Cafe! Great food & great service! Must try the burgers! - huge portions, everything made fresh & custom to order Wonderful seaside breeze on patio with plenty of shaded seating options Street parking may be limited - may need to park on side street (past the post office).
Decent little spot near Stinson beach. We ordered the steak burrito to share. It’s a great size. Little on the pricey side but it was to be expected in this location. We ate outside and it was very pleasant.

We like clam chowder and have tried it in a lot of restaurants. We decided today that the chowder from Breakers was the best we had tried - ever. The fish and chips were good too. This is a fun spot for lunch and a beer, with a nice beach vibe. Parking might be a challenge but we got lucky and found a nearby spot on a sunny September Friday.

Lovely cafe with good fast food and can’t go wrong with having a beer sitting on the patio during a beautiful day. My husband ordered raw oysters, though they were not local, and I had the French dip with friends and could only eat half but very good.
overall B+: great North Bay Stinson beach side restaurant/patio. The food and service and prices solid, vibe of the place outstanding. Halibut sammy, fresh poke salad. Just beware of local bird droppings before sitting outside. Drive from the highway was super beautiful and fun, especially in a boxter sports car.
Stopped here for a bite to eat before hitting the beach, and glad we did. Order at the counter, lunch box style with outdoor seating witb options to sit in the sun or shade. Dini g ar3 did get pretty crowded, but it was manageable and we e easily found a table. We both had the Halibut Tacos and shared an order of calamari. The tacos were delicious and did not skimp on the halibut at all. Great flavors overall. I was less impressed with the calamari - it was slightly rubbery and seemed pale, but the sauces were pretty good.
Came to Stinson beach without checking the weather is not a great idea, but a giant burrito and tacos would always come to save the day. Pros: - Massive portion. I could have split the burrito with husband but we ordered 3 dishes instead. Worry not, we came in hungry so we managed to finish them anyways.. it's a little spendy, but justified with the portion. - grilled oyster is always great! - they still open even though the other restaurant are closed. Thank goodness. Cons: - salsa was too acidic. Unsure if its the tomato, or excessive amount of lemon juice, but it kinda overpowered the other flavors and ruined the burrito a little bit. - steak and the shrimp, including the rice was bland: I wish they could put some seasonings to it ;( otherwise it would have been perfect. Ah and one more thing.. they gave you the to-go boxes by default. It’s such a waste if you’re planning to eat onsite anyway. They could have used reusable utensils instead of adding more unnecessary wastes to the environment :(

The food was great and plentiful. The pricing was a little high but it was a lot of food. The complaint I have was the service. The people working there were rude and obviously hated their jobs. You’re in a tourist beach town, try being a little more friendly. You might make more money. 😊
Placement is nice and right off the road near Stinson beach. The food I ordered (shrimp tacos) was good tasting but the bread was soaked in sauce and couldn’t eat them sadly.
$6 for an ice cream cone is devious work! Go to parkside snack bar and save $2

Great location and service. Depending on when you go, there is a wait as the place seems popular. The poke bowl and kids chicken was good. The kids pasta & French dip were really dry and tasted off like it had been sitting in the plastic container under a heat lamp all day. The guys were nice enough to replace the pasta with chicken at no added cost even though it was $2 more. I spent $140 for the fam, just a meal and drinks. If I go again, I'd stick to the basics. I think them prepping the food in advance and letting it sit in a plastic container could be the reason for the negative reviews so get here early.

Breakers Cafe – Stinson Beach Cool spot to hang out, but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the vibe. We ordered the daily special — ribs — expecting something freshly made, but they were dry and flavorless. Honestly, I’ve had better from Costco. The kids’ pasta was also a letdown — bland and overcooked. On the upside, the pear salad was fresh and actually really good, and they had a couple of nice IPAs on tap. It’s a nice place to grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere, but I wouldn’t come back for the food.

Ate here a couple of years ago and the food was great. This time, not so much. Kind of bland and dry (burgers and fish taco’s). Maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen but for the amount we paid ($36 for tacos and non-alcoholic beverage), I expect better. Service was good (quick) and we love the location.
Really bad expensive soft serve. It tasted metallic and like the milk had gone bad. Maybe the machine needs to be cleaned? We told the cashier and they tasted it and said it was “normal”.

Partner got food poisoning, likely from the old looking oysters that had a bluish tinge to some of them, but that we ate since it was expensive. My partner is now in urgent care for the severe food poisoning that has been ongoing since yesterday night.
This is just for the ice cream shop. The icecream here tasted off, not sure what it was but seems to be made of old milk. Please get a sample first before you get a cup I was very disappointed and it seem to be spoilt. Please be careful.
