Equator is a great coffee shop located in the middle of mill valley. I love the strawberry matcha here as it may be expensive, but it’s really good. The baristas are very nice and they really bring a welcoming vibe. If your in mill valley and your looking for good coffee and pastries, this is the place.

Equator Coffees is a great spot if you care about quality coffee and a comfortable atmosphere. The drinks taste consistently well crafted, whether it’s a simple drip coffee or a specialty latte. You can tell they use high-quality beans, and the flavor is smooth and balanced, not bitter. The cafes have a clean, modern feel and are good for meeting friends or getting some work done. Staff have been friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and service moves at a good pace even during busy times. I also like their food and pastry options — fresh and a nice complement to the drinks. It feels like a step above typical coffee chains without being pretentious. Overall, a reliable place for good coffee, relaxed vibes, and quality service. Definitely recommend if you enjoy well-made coffee.

Equator Coffees in Mill Valley is a must visit when in town. The cold brew is delicious with a smooth flavor that’s great on its own or with some milk. The location is beautiful and perfectly situated downtown, which makes it a great stop whether you are exploring the area or meeting up with someone. The space feels warm and inviting and there is plenty of charm in the surroundings. Overall, it is a reliable and enjoyable coffee stop that fits right into the vibe of Mill Valley.

Equator was hopping when I visited on a Saturday afternoon - full of outdoor enthusiasts and weekenders waiting patiently for their fancy coffee orders. They had a great selection of sophisticated latte flavors like honey, lavender, maple and black sesame! Good looked great and a cozy atmosphere. Expensive tho!

Kind and friendly staff. Decent prices. We tried their baked goods... an assortment of cookies, scones, and croissants. All were delicious. COVID procedure is convenient -- order at a window, they will bring out your order and call your name. Seems like a fairly popular place in Mill Valley, but also seems like one of the only games in town for these types of items. You can also buy their coffee beans in the local grocery store down the street.

Their Habibi Latte might be the best beverage I’ve ever had. The chocolate strawberry waffle was also delish, and the location has a “Cheers/Everyone Knows Your Name” vibe. Charming establishment in an even more charming town.

This place is ridiculous, as in it is so good that it should be illegal. The avocado toast was some of the best I have ever had, I ordered three to go for on my way to the airport leaving San Francisco. The seasonal autumn spice latte with the pumpkin cream cold brew was to die for - I found myself getting two in a day for sure!

I’m not a big coffee-drinker but I’ve been several times and can attest to the great atmosphere and pretty good food/drink options. Food options include sandwiches, pastries, and sweet/savory waffles. Indoor and outdoor seating available. However, because it’s so busy, if you sit down to the left of the entrance (opposite side from the counter where orders are placed), it’ll be hard to hear your order called. At least my experience has been this way where I’m waiting a while for my order to be called, finally get tired of waiting, walk over to check in with staff, only to find that my order is sitting on the counter but I never heard it called. I got the veggie frittata sandwich and enjoyed it but generally, the food is a bit pricey for the portion size in my opinion. The drink I got was fairly good I think but honestly, not very memorable/standout because I don’t really remember it.

the baristas are cool, the place is nice and spacious. Only I had a very difficult mouthful of coffee grounds when i got to the last 4oz of coffee which was pretty startling-- get an americano instead

Massive chain. Nasty aesthetic. I always like the items listed, can't dislike the quality of the ingredients. Almost no creativity though and the people are sad.
