We go to Donut King about once a month and we are always very happy with our selections. The workers are always very friendly and treat you as if you are "Family" ! Delicious Donuts, this is the Best Donut Shop around !!! Would recommend Donut King to everyone !!!

I am a night owl so Donut King is perfect for me. Their donuts and pastries are always fresh and always delicious. Their coffee is absolutely fabulous! Seriously to die for!

This was the first time that I have been to this (or any) "donut shop" in many years. However, we needed a quick breakfast for a crowd so... The kolaches were huge and tasted good (both regular and jalapeño). I wouldn't have known that they had cheese in them if they hadn't been advertised that way because you could not see or taste it at all. While I definitely didn't want it to be overwhelming what was a great solace, it would have been a nice complimentary flavor. As for the donuts, I ordered one dozen mixed. I was told that they can throw in an "extra dozen at half price." I agreed, expecting another dozen of mixed (what I ordered). When we got home (yes, it is our fault for not checking the boxes before leaving), we had received our kolaches, a box of mixed, and a box of plain glazed. Lastly, although the kolaches, the glazed donuts, and about half of the mixed donuts tasted good or great, some of the mixed donuts were odd (?). Bright blue icing (oddly sweet), bright yellow icing (same sweetness), and some strange combinations of toppings, mixed in with what I consider "normal" donuts that you would find in a mix (sugar coated, maple icing, cake donut, chocolate icing, etc.). In their defense (and the reason that I gave no less than 4 stars), as stated before, I haven't been to a donut shop in over 10 years at least. I am sure things have changed. Also, there might have been a bit of a language barrier and because I am terrible at languages/accents, I couldn't understand completely (that is on me).

They have good donuts but I don't care for their pushy sales tactics.

I like their donuts and sandwiches. All very good. Their only problem is they are VERY aggressive trying to sale you something else between every item you call out. Last 4 times i have been there my order has been screwed up. I don;t listen to people calling out the final order, just pay attention as i wade thru the menu to place a 30 dollar order. I've actually driven to quitman just to avoid the nonstop pitch. Come on, this is really easy to fix and everyone I talk to or bothers to mention something negative mentions this or collateral damage from this. I am not even saying , "Dont do a sales pitch" By all means, please give us one and tell us what you have a=special, fresh or just made to many kolachis which is apparently a 7 day a week issue. Give us the pitch / info. Just slow down first, pay attention to what the customer is ordering nail that. THEN in a closing try to push whatever you like. Before that happens you aren;t even aware of whats on my list. I may have what your pushing on my list but it gets screwed up because people aren't paying attention.+ solid 5 star if we could just get over this and show customer then initial attention they deserve.

Doughnuts were ok. Lady gave us/we had to pay for three items we didnt want. We asked about an item and she quickly said something among the lines of "I give you three, these good". Next she threw them in a bag along with the rest of our food.
