This is a great place for breakfast, lunch and pastries. Oh, the pastries! Treat these people nicely and enjoy the way you'll be treated back. Their food is very, very good and theie pastries are world class. This is a little jewel of a place that I hope never goes away. Having places like this maje a community a better place to live.
Little France Bakery is an absolute gem. The food is always fresh, beautifully made, and full of flavor every bite feels thoughtfully crafted. What truly makes this place special is the people. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, and you can genuinely feel the care they put into everything they do. The service is warm and professional, making every visit a lovely experience. Highly recommend!
Such a wonderful bakery! The food is consistently delicious and high quality, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Can’t wait to come back again and again!
Little France Coffee and Bakery is an absolute gem! The coffee was amazing—perfectly made and full of flavor—but the pastries somehow managed to be even more amazing. Fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care. The shop itself is super cute and cozy, making it a great place to relax or catch up with friends. On top of that, the service was truly top-notch: friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Can’t wait to come back again and again! ☕🥐
I discovered Little France Bakery on Tok Tok. My family and I drove from the Inland Empire to the branch in Mission Viejo, and let me tell you... IT. WAS. WORTH. IT. The pastries have unique, fun flavors, they are decadent, beautiful in their aesthetic, and most importantly, they're delicious! Sean, the owner, was the most hospitable host. He was gracious, generous and took his time explaining all the pastries he offered. He has such a positive attitude! His team were kind, welcoming and attentive. We ordered various pastries (see picture). The almond chocolate croissant and the berry danish are a must try! We are looking forward to our next visit to Mission Viejo so we can stop by Little France Bakery!
We have found our new favourite bakery-patisserie in the Ladera Ranch/SJC/Dana Pt area! (replacing St Honore.. PLUS the parking availability is so much better!) The positive energy and 'customer-forward' service mindset is notable, from all the staff as well as the owner/proprietor -- THANK YOU! We highly recommend the Avocado Toast; the Raspberry Croissant (see pic); and the Raspberry Macaron pastry (see pic). Cannot wait to return to try their other baked goods!
Such a charming little café with an authentic French vibe! The pastries are fresh, buttery, and absolutely delicious—especially the croissants and éclairs. The coffee is smooth and perfectly brewed. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot to relax or enjoy breakfast. Definitely one of the best bakeries in the area!
Little France Bakery might be a small spot tucked away in a strip mall, but it truly surprised us with its amazing desserts! We tried the raspberry chocolate dessert and another chocolate treat — both were absolutely heavenly. The flavors were rich, balanced, and felt like something you’d find in a café in Paris. A little pricey for the size, but definitely worth it for the quality. We also ordered a veggie omelet and a crepe. Both tasted fresh and well made — nothing particularly new or unique, but still enjoyable. The ambiance really adds to the experience — cozy and welcoming, with French murals on the walls that give it a charming European vibe. It’s the kind of place where you want to slow down, sip your coffee, and savor every bite. We’ll definitely be going back for those incredible desserts!
Went for Brunch for the first time at the Little French Bakery. They were busy but still took the time to welcome us. We ordered the quiche Lorraine and the croque madame, and a mocha. Everything was well made and delicious. We were curious about the pastries so we took some to go. Got the pistachio croissant, a Basque cheese slice, custard brioche and hazelnut cinnamon roll. We haven't had them at the time I'm writing the review but it they're half as delicious as they look then I'm sure we'll be pleased. The owner was very warm and friendly and seems to really care about creating a good experience for repeat customers. He definitely has 2 new repeat customers here.
The only thing I did not find super delicious was the tart, it was still good but not up to par with everything else on the table. The savoury croissants are delicious and they’re flexible with customising the items. The pear tart I got was amazing, it’s a shame they didn’t have pineapple tart though-my favourite fruit. The ambience of the place is really nice and feels homey and intimate, and it’s topped by the amazing service and the friendly waiters. Honestly, it was pricey though. Each person was about $18. 95$ for 5 people. Price aside, I would definitely come back to this place and safely recommend it!
Conveniently located right off freeway 5 and the mission mall, is a Gem bakery taking you into the world of France. Little France provides a flair of France and Paris. After stepping in it displays most delicious and delightful pastries and the menu midgets also warm french breakfast delights. The art of preparation is perfect with the healthy European ingredients and the taste will everyone who visited Europe remind you just on that. For less adventurers they still provide very familiar pastures and breakfast items. After ordering you step though an antique door into the world of France. The wall murals and decoration took over 8 months but every detail was well worth the time.
Staff were friendly. Ordered French onion soup, club sandwich on a croissant, and a side salad. Everything was fresh and delicious. Soup was served with cheese sprinkled in it, not baked on the top, with toasted chunks of baguette on the side. The vinaigrette on the salad was incredibly good. We brought home shortbread cookies and they were devoured. Will definitely return the next time we’re in Orange County.
Cute hidden gem. The pastries are fresh and flavorful. My favorite was the croissant sandwich. I also got a hot chocolate which was well made and they use milk instead of water which is perfect!! For the coffee, it is strong and not too sweet so if that is what you prefer this is a good spot for you. The workers were extremely helpful and the environment is super cute. Although it is a little pricey it is worth the quality of the food, and the small amount of food filled me up. I drove 50 minutes away and it was worth it and I will be back again. I see there are also bad reviews with issues with the employees but they are down to earth and helpful.
I hate to post anything negative, but because I spent so much money the last time I visited the cafe, and had such a bad experience I felt it important to post. I have been to the cafe several times in the last few years, but the last time was the worst. I took my mom for lunch as a special mid-week treat and ended up spending about $65 (not including tip) for 2 sandwiches, 2 pastries and a coke! That’s ridiculous. One of the $20 sandwiches was the BLT with avocado. Only about 2 pieces of bacon and just a scraping of avocado and a tiny, thin slice of tomato. The croissant was very good, but for $65 I expect excellent. Additionally, on this visit I wasn’t pleased with the unprofessional behavior of either an owner or employee managing their business at the back of the seating area carrying on an incredibly loud phone call and then super loud conversation with friends that lasted the entire time I was there. Although the pastries and cookies are very good, I won’t be going back again. This is too bad as the area lacks good bakeries. That said, I won’t be spending my money in a restaurant where an employee or owner does not respect or value the customer experience, and very basic sandwiches are a ridiculous price. My suggestion to the owner(s) is don’t do your business in the eating area, and please be cognizant of the customer experience.
10/10/2025: I was really disappointed with my purchase here. I ordered this raspberry macaron dessert (photos attached), and unfortunately, it was not baked properly. The texture was soft and undercooked, and when I cut into it, the inside was still quite wet. For $10.67, I expected better quality and flavor, it mostly just tasted overly sweet without much depth or balance. I didn’t have the chance to return it, and I’m not sure if the shop even allows returns for items like this. It’s a beautiful dessert visually, but the taste and texture didn’t live up to the presentation. 10/11/2025: I really wanted to like this place. On my first visit, I ordered a raspberry macaron to go, but it was underbaked and still wet inside. I didn’t have time to return that day, but when I called the next morning, the person on the phone was kind and said I could come in for an exchange, which I appreciated. I went back and decided to try a pistachio rolled croissant instead. Unfortunately, it was also disappointing, the pastry was undercooked in parts, and most of the filling was chocolate rather than pistachio. When I asked about it, the response felt dismissive, and the atmosphere turned uncomfortable. They said the pistachio croissant has chocolate filling. Interesting. I was initially going to leave a positive review for their willingness to replace the first item, but after this experience, I don’t plan to return. The pastries look beautiful, but the quality and partially, customer care just didn’t match the presentation or price.
