Tip: Don't skip the rice bowls; the pork is savory and sweet. Also, the gyoza and spring rolls are a must-try.

I tried the black ramen, omurice, and gyoza, and everything was outstanding. The black ramen was hands down the best Japanese ramen I’ve ever had — rich, deep flavor and perfectly balanced. The omurice was absolute perfection with the ideal ratio of rice to sauce. Even the gyoza impressed me so much that I had to ask the owner about the soy sauce because it was that good. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean, bright, and very comfortable. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I will definitely be coming back again! 먹어본 일본 라멘중 최고입니다!!
So in the last two weeks, I’ve tried KIIRO Cuisine about 4 or 5 times. Every single time the food was delicious and spot on. It’s always smiles when I walk, very nice staff. The place is clean and easy on the eye. I’m easily becoming a regular here, the karaage curry and the spicy beef curry are out of this world. And the portion is very good. 10/10 experience. I would most definitely recommend this spot!
First time enjoying this ramen house with good curry options. For a Friday afternoon had several tables available. Spicy tonkatsu ramen had a good umami broth with all the accompaniments. Fried gyoza were nice thin skin dumplings with flavorful pork filling (option to have them fried). Hubby enjoyed the pork katsu curry, crispy and moist pork, not greasy at all. They have tea and Japanese drink options as well as beer and sake. The service was excellent from our server Aiden, pleasantly friendly and accommodating. We will be back and become frequent customers!
Stopped by while we were in the area and it ended up being a solid little spot tucked away in OC. Everything we ordered came out good. We tried the chicken karaage, hambagu over omurice, spicy tonkatsu miso ramen, and the combo tempura curry. The hambagu over omurice was my favorite, my daughter really liked the chicken karaage, and my wife was into the spicy tonkatsu miso ramen. Overall it’s good Japanese comfort food, nothing complicated, just done right. The place was clean and the staff was attentive, which always helps. Would definitely stop by again if we’re nearby, and there are still a few ramen options I want to try next time.
Ramen and curry are both good. Food is flavorful and well seasoned. Friendly service and easy parking.
Had a fantastic meal at Kiiro today! We tried the cucumber sunomono, black ramen, chicken karaage, and gyoza — everything was absolutely delicious. The black ramen was the best I’ve ever had! Flavors were well-balanced, and each dish was made with care. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. Highly recommend!
First time coming here and the impression was fantastic. Ramen is great, I had one of spicy ones. The broth is so full of flavor. Don't skip out on their rice bowls, we got the pork and it was so savory and sweet. It was my first time trying a sparkling cocktail and it was lovely. It's a smaller restaurant, clean, tidy, and quiet. The staff is also very friendly. And the food does not take long for a sit down. I recommend and would go again.
I had an amazing experience at Kiiro! I ordered the spicy shoyu ramen, gyoza, and chicken karaage — and everything was absolutely delicious. The ramen had the perfect level of heat with a rich, flavorful broth, and the noodles were cooked just right. The gyoza were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the chicken karaage was perfectly seasoned and incredibly tender. Great flavors, great portions, and a cozy atmosphere — I’ll definitely be coming back!
Honestly this is such a cozy spot! We popped in on a whim but very glad we stopped by. I came with my family and we tried the ramen, garlic edamame, California rolls and vegetable croquettes. Everything was delicious, and they were very understanding about substitutions, explaining allergens, and helping us adjust spice levels (with spice on the side so we could adapt the bowls to our taste). Personally would love to see the addition of tofu to the vegetarian ramen, but otherwise it was flavorful and delicious. We live just up the street - happy to have found this restaurant and will be back!
I don’t usually review but had to write one because I found the best Japanese omurice and curry in OC. Really good portions for price and the best omurice and hambagu I’ve had, even better than most spots in Japan where I used to live. Meat quality is elite, texture of the egg is perfect, and the sauce is unbeatable. And after speaking to the owner, I learned he’s been making omurice for 40 years! My recommendations other than the signature omurice is the chasu bowl, spicy tonkatsu ramen, and yakisoba. My new regular for Japanese food forsure.
Food was so good we had the Hambägu omurice and was delicious my son had the Tonkotsu Miso Ramen an my wife the Spicy Shoyu Ramen all the food was amazing and the broth delicious as well definitely coming back to try out the rest
Spicy tonkotsu ramen was incredibly flavorful, I always look for deep & rich broths and this place delivered. Chashu perfectly charred & falls apart in mouth. Probably my favorite ramen in the area. My boyfriend loved the hamburg omurice too. We’ll be back for sure!
Both the curry and omurice are the best I had in many years and I love all the menu they have that I could come here everyday and never get tired of it. Highest recommendation! 👍👍👍
We recently dined at Kiiro, a charming ramen restaurant, where we indulged in an array of delectable dishes. We sampled the Black Bean Ramen, Spicy Tonkotsu Miso Ramen, and the classic Miso Ramen. Each bowl was not only expertly crafted but also surprisingly affordable. The quality of the ingredients truly impressed us, elevating our dining experience. I can't wait to return and explore more of their enticing menu!
Would really recommend the Hambagu over omurice. The calamari was also really crispy and delicious. The ramen was also amazing (i had a taste of the chashu and it was really tender). Very cozy and welcoming and it’s obvious that they take care to make sure the food is delicious. My go to spot whenever im by saddleback
Service and food were awesome! We got the Spicy Beef bowl, hambagu patty over omurice, chashu bowl and chicken karaage. The beef bowl had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. The omurice had an amazing sauce with a great hambagu patty over it. The chashu bowl was perfectly fatty and had a great sauce. Chicken karaage was crispy and also had a great sauce! I would 100% come again. All the portion sizes were very generous at their price point.

We tried their miso ramen, pork chashu bowl, pork katsu curry, hambagu omurice, and gyoza. It was one of the best dishes I have eaten recently. The ramen was especially great (it had nice, rich broth and chewy noodles!) Friendly staff and nice, clean atmosphere. Great dining experience!! We’ll definitly come again.

The ramen is amazing!! Tries the spicy tonkatsu and chicken. And both were delicious. Gyoza and spring rolls are a must try. Definitely putting this place in the rotation.
The chicken katsu curry was delicious! As well as the hambugu curry. Only 4 stars because the ramen was alright. Perhaps it would be much better if I didnt order it as take out, overall an awesome place and will definitely come back! 😊

The ramen was really good. Perfect level of spice. We also got the Omurice, it was okay. Wanted to order the Kids Shoyu Ramen because we didn’t wanna be big backs with all the food we initially planned to order since everything looked so good but their age 12 and under was enforced which was also disappointing. Hungry-hungry-hippo and I came in looking for something to replace our go-to spot which is no longer in business and it’s definitely better than some other ramen joints but the Omurice was just smothered in ketchup. The Rice in Omurice itself was good. Also got some sort of bowl. It was delicious. Handsome young man that helped us out around 4pm on August 19 was real nice. Even when we asked stupid questions he didn’t crack, simply answered and gave us recommendations he came out to ask everyone how their meals were with a burst of enthusiasm. 4 dishes total and 2 drinks yet the food came out pretty quick. Thanks for the service.

Good & friendly server, nice atmosphere, but ramen is worst..🥲 I don't know why the rating here is so high. On the day I visited, Spicy Donkots Ramen's soup was lack of richness and too bland. I expected savory and rich pork soup base but it tastes something like mixture of milk+water+little bit of MSG+pepper powder. Luckily, curry omurice was fine. We thought the chief might be new to here or he doesn't know the decent flavor of ramen. I wouldn't try ramen here again, but maybe omurice.
