Went for late dinner and stayed for the drinks! Great place, the staff is super nice and the give great service. Place is full but there is always room for a new party. We had the racket appetizer, really nice. The butter truffle burger is amazing. The Porto wine was great too, we had the Albariño. The hash browns are okay. Drinks, please try the espresso martin it was delicious. Will come back!

Vibes are good. Drinks are okay. Service is bad. One of the servers spilled outrageously on my friend and didn't even apologize. She forgot to bring our orders multiple times and didn't seem to care

We merely stopped here for a refreshment on a very hot New York City day. Cafe Select had a nice menu but alas, we were still digesting our lunch. So a coke and a margarita were on the order. Sitting up at the bar, out of the heat, we caught up on our plans for the rest of the day. The decor is absolutely gorgeous, with eye catching posters and prints and bud lights sprinkled across the entire ceiling. Had to take a photo of the Rolex clock mounted from the roof with Jim’s Omega watch in the foreground. Rolex’s fame of keeping accurate time didn’t hold up well against the Omega. 😂😂😂 If you come to dine, there is seating outdoors on the pavement which is enticing. Giving this pace 4 starts because 1. when we went in the summer there was no AC, so it was a bit hot and 2. I thought my salad was extremely mediocre and was very watery on the bottom. We were there pretty early on a weeknight (around 6:30pm) and didn’t have to wait in line to get seated, but the spot looked pretty busy around 8pm. Overall, if you’re in the area and looking to grab something and people watch, this is a good spot, but I wouldn’t travel to eat here.

It’s a nice café in SOHO! Great food, ambiance, and service! Burrata salad is so yummy and refreshing. Eggs Benedict is the smoked salmon was so delicious. Lobster bacon club is the sandwich itself was so good- the avocado, bacon, and lobster all blended super well. But tbh, the spinach quiche was kinda dry and not super flavorful.

You kinda pay for the vibes. The staff is amazing and unbelievably kind (maybe that’s just a Latino thing). Food was mid tho? And overpriced, but it’s soho, so MY BAD for wanting affordable food lol! My family is Latino and maybe we just don’t like this type of food but like, there was tinyyyy portions. Latte was fire 🥹🥲 and I forgot to take a pic of the food!

Came on a Friday night around 5pm. Probably some of the rudest and unfriendly host staff I’ve come across in NYC. They were very uninviting and made us feel as if our business wasn’t wanted. I could see the female hostess give us some unfriendly looks as we sat down. Our server was amazing but aside from that, terrible experience and I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I asked for the Lobster Bisque and the Snow Crab Salad and they’re unpalatable, the bisque simply didn’t taste like lobster AT ALLit was just a very thin soup of something we don’t know, bad. The salad was simply terrible, the lettuce was going bad, the sauce was disgusting and the crab was definitely not fresh at all!!! I was so sad, my bf ordered a good chicken sandwich and i had to take bites of it because my food was not eatable! Very disappointing! Just don’t get anything that supposed to be fresh, because that’s not their best option. I’m even afraid I’m gonna get sick after two bites of that salad just so you know how bad it was! Also the waitress was very off with her attitude, I ordered sparkling water with lemon and the lemons were slimy, I asked if they’re the only lemons that they have and she said yes. Did not care at all! I should’ve know by it that all the fresh things on that restaurant were not going to be fresh! I don’t like to do bad reviews but I think it was needed :/ Very sad!

A few friends and I came here on Friday night. Food was alright. Bruschetta had practically no balsamic so we asked someone who worked there for balsamic she rolled her eyes in our face... and said "sure." Working in the food industry I have never seen or experienced this. Ordered Lobster Bisque and came with the most flat spoon for soup. Not a big deal but what was frustrating was we didn't feel comfortable to ask if they had soup spoons because our server seemed inconvenienced by everything. My friend and I were taking pictures and she laughed at us, she gave our friend attitude when she said she wasn't ordering a drink, never checked back up on us after finishing our food and drinks. Overall extremely strange judgmental vibe coming from our server it was just all around attitudes from the employees. I was considering getting another drink but we ended up having to ask for the check before she ever came back to our table. The man who worked as host was very kind but aside from him every worker we spoke too had a horrible attitude and was just very openly rude. I'm not a review writer but days later this experience still bothered me enough to write this review.

The food overall was good and service was good as well. My reason for the low rating was because of my bill charges. I ordered something off the lunch menu and then I was asked what side did I want. I was not aware that it came with a side so I was happily surprised and I asked what were my options and then I picked one. What they neglected to disclose was that the side was NOT in fact part of the lunch item I picked. Why are you asking me what side I want if i never asked for a side? At least disclose that it’s a separate charge. And honestly if they had disclosed that, I might have gotten it anyway. What made the experience more frustrating was that when I asked about the discrepancy in price, the guy just said oh you were looking off the lunch menu, we only do bunch today. Ok fine. Except when I checked lunch vs brunch prices, it was the SAME. So I had to go back again for an explanation. That’s when it was disclosed that the side was not part of the meal. My biggest issue is integrity here. Just be up front that it’s a separate charge rather than try to slip it in by making it sound like it’s part of meal and then upcharge me.
