Everything I need to cook an authentic Italian meal is here: fresh handmade pasta, rich olive oils, imported cheeses, gourmet snacks, cured meats, artisan sauces — all top quality and beautifully presented. And here’s the best part: there’s a full-service restaurant, cafe, Roman pizza & La Pasticceria inside. So you can eat, shop, sip, and just enjoy the vibe. The staff are genuinely helpful and knowledgeable. They don’t just point — they guide you, offer great recommendations, and make the experience feel personal. If you love Italian food, culture, and quality ingredients, Eataly is 100% worth visiting.

Coming off a disappointing experience the night before at an independent restaurant, we went into Eataly with no expectations…we just knew the food would be good and we were hungry. To our surprise, our expectations were far surpassed in every way, from service, to food, beverages, and the overall ambiance. 🎄 We arrived a little early, so the restaurant was still quiet. Our server, Leo, greeted us warmly and was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, especially by NYC standards. You really can’t go wrong with this place. We also appreciated the attention to detail. They reset the table between courses and provided fresh cutlery for our entrées after our appetizers, following all the steps of service flawlessly. We mentioned we were celebrating our cousin’s 40th birthday casually through conversation, without asking for anything special, and they surprised us with the most delicious tiramisu. A fantastic experience all around. Highly recommend!

My wife and I spend a good amount of time in SoHo and we've made Eataly SoHo a regular place to eat, grab coffee, and even shop for groceries. Although its much smaller than the one in Flatiron, we prefer this location. A special note of appreciation to the staff in the restaurant, especially the manager, Parker. He always greets my wife and I warmly and regularly checks up on us to make sure everything is to our liking. He's a great person and a true professional. Eataly is lucky to have him there.

This place is a gem. From the moment we walked in, Antonio made us feel genuinely welcome—warm, attentive, and clearly proud of what they serve. That kind of hospitality makes a difference, and it shows in every detail here. The desserts were outstanding—beautifully made, rich and flavorful, but not overly sweet or heavy. What really stood out is how balanced everything was. No waxy textures, no sugar overload like you often get with American-style desserts. Just clean, refined flavors that let the ingredients speak for themselves. You can tell these are made with care and tradition. The coffee deserves special mention. They serve Lavazza, which I’ll admit I don’t usually love—but they did it right. Perfectly hot, smooth, and well-prepared. It completely changed my mind and paired wonderfully with the desserts. The space itself is charming and thoughtfully decorated—cozy, elegant, and unmistakably Italian without feeling staged or touristy. It’s the kind of place where you want to slow down, sit, and enjoy what’s in front of you. If you’re looking for excellent desserts, properly made coffee, and genuine service, this is absolutely worth a visit. Antonio and the team clearly care about quality, and it shows in every bite and every cup. Highly recommended.

Eataly SoHo is a food lover’s paradise! From the moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by the energy of an authentic Italian marketplace. The selection is incredible — fresh foods, house-made pasta, artisan breads, cheeses, and a wide range of imported Italian products like olive oils, sauces, and wines. The bakery section is amazing, and everything looks (and tastes) like it came straight from Italy. I tried the tiramisu, and it was absolutely outstanding — creamy, light, and perfectly balanced. Easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Beyond desserts, the fresh pasta is phenomenal and the quality of ingredients really shines through. Even just browsing the aisles of specialty products and fresh produce is an experience in itself. Whether you’re looking for a sit-down meal, something sweet from the bakery, or high-quality Italian products to take home, Eataly in SoHo delivers. It’s a must-visit spot if you love authentic Italian food. I can’t wait to come back and try even more!

I came here for dinner with my family and it did not disappoint. First of all the restaurant decor was beautiful. It was elegant with a coastal feel. Felt like we were dining in Italy itself. The customer service was very attentive. We had their homemade pasta that was cooked and seasoned to perfection. There were no left overs behind. Definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner!

i know it is now fall 🍂 and the weather has cooled down a lot. but it does not hurt to get iced, or even frozen, drinks. Eataly Soho is my one and only spot for frozen espresso ☕️ ($7.25). this cremespresso is slushy-like espresso. it is super refreshing, mildly sweet, and still packed with caffeine for the day. i’d say it is creamier than slushy, but less than ice cream 🍨 eataly is THE spot for italian groceries. i always get fresh pasta, sauces, and high quality cheese from here. their sandwiches, cakes, and pizza also look fire 🍕 if you use too good to go app, you will also find eataly there. but i heard you will have to be fast at reserving eataly goodie bag bc it offers the best deal with high quality sandwiches, pasta, and bakery 🥖

Eataly SoHo — My New Favorite Italian Spot in NYC 🍝✨ I finally stopped by Eataly in SoHo and wow… I’m obsessed! The atmosphere is so warm and chic dim lighting, beautiful table settings, and that classic Italian energy that makes you feel like you’re on vacation in Milan. I ordered the ravioli, and it was everything. Perfectly al dente pasta with the most flavorful sauce you can taste the freshness in every bite. I paired it with a glass of white wine that balanced it beautifully. And then the dessert… pure magic 🍯 The pistachio cream topped with honey drizzle might be one of the best things I’ve ever had rich, silky, and just sweet enough. Service was amazing, the vibe was immaculate, and every detail felt so well-thought-out. Whether you’re here for a cute date night, a solo glass of wine, or a content-worthy meal Eataly delivers. 📍SoHo, NYC 💫 Must-try: The ravioli + pistachio dessert combo 🍷 10/10 ambience and presentation

Not as large as other Eataly’s, especially their Vegas location. Dined at the restaurant and was very satisfied with our meal. We had their MARGHERITA ‘A RUOTA DI CARRO’ pizza. That had to be one of the best pizza I ever had. I couldn’t believe how thin the crust was. So tasty. I highly recommend their pizzas. We also had their Fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta was cooked al dente and was so good. To finish off our lunch we had the PANNA COTTA AI FRUTTI DI BOSCO. Great way to end our meal. The only knock, they need a hostess to greet and seat parties as there was nobody there.

A friend was visiting from the West Coast and we met in SoHo. I had suggested Eataly as it would be less crowded on a Saturday evening. We sat on the patio and perused the menu. We chose two dishes from the $26 Taste of Napoli prix fixe menu. Mortadella E Pistacchio on sourdough bread and Spaghetti All'Arrabiatta. I had a cappuccino when I arrived. No bread was given before our meal. We drank a bottle of Pelegríno. The server didn't offer us cheese which I requested. The food was fine but the pasta was lukewarm. We didn't finish it and skipped dessert. Slowly lots of customers started coming so the atmosphere became more jovial. I like all three Eataly's and this one is the smallest.

Last time we visited, the appetizers were decent but the pastas were terrible. They got our order mixed up and insisted they were correct. The pasta was overcooked, as you can see in the photo I posted. The food also took at least 40 minutes, and when we asked why, they simply said there was a “problem in the kitchen.” On top of that, they charged extra for olives and pepperoni on the pizza without explaining the additional fees. The whole experience was disappointing. However, after I left that review, the manager, Parker, replied and apologized for the inconvenience, offering us a gift card if we gave them another chance. We came back today, and the experience was completely different. They welcomed us warmly, offered us a complimentary appetizer and dessert, and also gave us a $50 gift card. On top of that, they surprised us with an extra pasta on the house. The food was much better this time, and the service had improved a lot as well. It really felt like they cared about making things right.

I like to pick up fresh pasta when we go as it’s delicious. We ate in the center at the bar and had the fried calamari and suppli. The calamari is one of our favorites. Needed salt this last visit but super crunchy as always.

I’d never had the chance to visit the London branch before, as it’s located slightly outside the city centre, so I was quite looking forward to it. I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t have the truffle chocolates I’d bought on a previous trip and was hoping to buy again. Of course, I couldn’t take all the groceries home with me, but I did pick up a few non-refrigerated items like olive oil. There were also some great options for gifts to bring back for friends. Most canvas bags I’ve seen are made with thin fabric and cost around $40, but the Italy canvas bag here was only $20 and just the right size for shopping. The Soho branch is quite small, so it doesn’t seem to stock a wide range of items — if you’re looking for more variety, I’d recommend visiting the branch next to Memorial Park, where you’ll find a much larger selection.

The service was the best ever. They were very friendly, the hostess was very welcoming, and the food was very delicious. And their special bread with olive oil, and appetizers and pasta homemade . Everything it was perfect 10/10 😍😋😋 They also celebrated my friend's birthday with us. They didn’t add any fees for the candle and celebration. Thank you so much, 🥰 I advise you to go there if you want excellent service. I would like to thank the manager in particular, although I didn’t remember his name.🙏🏻

I’ve tried food at the other two locations, they were both good. This soho locus even better. Somehow, it has a more family meals vibe, very comfortable and welcoming. The food was just as good as the other locations. This was the first time having Tiramisu at Eataly, I thought it would be a standard, average one, but it’s actually the best I have ever had. I am very happy with my dinner here.

We were in the mood for pizza but wanted to sit down and some of the other places we had looked at were really busy. when we passed by eatly we had heard about it so decided to check it out. we were seated and greeted right away and right away ordered the rustico bread. we then ordered the caesar salad plus marguerite pizza with eggplant. the bread was supposed to come out first but the server messed up and everything came out at the same time. the bread was very good, excellent in fact with good portion size and good taste. the pizza was also good, more cheese and less eggplant but still a good, thin crust pizza. the caesar salad was average as it was basically lettuce and dressing overall good food and a nice ambiance

I love Eataly. We came for a late lunch without reservations (party of 2). The restaurant was not that busy but we seemed to be seated at the “throw away” table. Others came after us, also with no reservations and were seated on the banquet. Not sure why we given such a bad table. Next time I would insist to be moved. Service was slow. We had the meats and cheese board- which does not include bread The whipped ricotta was amazing (it’s why they are getting 4 stars), the cold meats and cheese were also good. However, I will be sticking to the Flatiron Eataly in the future.

Decided to try this place out after driving by it all week to and from our hotel. The food all came out quickly and our servers were efficient although my daughter ordered a heart shaped kid’s pizza and it came out round and the dessert COPPA GELATO FRAGOLSOA said on the menu that it came with strawberries and whipped cream but it did not. I had the special tiramisu which was salted caramel and it was surprisingly very light. The pasta I ordered was spinach and ricotta stuffed pasta, it was fabulous. Overall a good experience and wasn’t overly busy.

The food offering is fairly consistent across all the Eataly restaurants. The Diavola Dolce pizza is one of my favorite pizzas with a nice mix of spicy Italian sausage completed with drizzles of honey. My other favorite is the Quattro Formaggi pizza. It’s simple and just cheesy goodness. To top it all off the fitto mistro is a sinful delight of fried calamari, shrimp and cod with a healthy dose of batter fried vegetables. Overall, the food is decent, service is good.

The overall experience was disappointing. Our entrees were average at best and didn’t justify the price. Service was lacking, and we had to send our orders back twice—once for being overcooked and again for being undercooked. Several staff members assisted us, which caused confusion and led to extra charges that had to be sorted out afterwards. The only highlights were the kids' meals and desserts. The restaurant was understaffed, resulting in long wait times for requests, and the kitchen was in chaos, sending out undercooked dishes that needed returning more than once. We spent $300 for what turned out to be a mediocre experience. Certainly, we won’t be coming back for dinner.

Nice spot with mediocre food. Overpriced for the modest portions. The kids' pizza is especially good, with a thin crust and gooey cheese, and the desserts are sweet and satisfying.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, which definitely added to the overall experience. While the meal was decent, it wasn’t remarkable enough to leave me eager to return. The kids' pasta, however, was the standout. The quality of the pasta and the freshly grated cheese really elevated the dish, making it a highlight compared to the other items we tried. On the other hand, the seafood salad was underwhelming—it lacked flavor, and the seafood was softer than I prefer. The roasted potatoes were a pleasant surprise, perfectly cooked. The fried calamari, unfortunately, didn’t impress. It was served with an overwhelming amount of fried zucchini—about four times the amount of zucchini to calamari. The Caesar salad was also a miss, as it was drenched in dressing, which should never happen. The chicken Milanese was quite small, leaving me wishing for a more substantial portion. The wine selection here, though, was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of the meal. In comparison to their other locations, the food here didn’t quite measure up. However, the service was solid, especially considering how busy it was over the Christmas break.

We had an subpar experience here a few nights ago. The food was good. However one of the meals was wrong and when we asked the server and then the head server they both dismissed us. We wanted the tenderloin and got strip steak. The strip came with fried potatoes and the tenderloin would have come with greens. We should have complained louder but we were both tired from a long day at work. The strip steak was good. If we both were not on diets the potatoes I’m sure would have been very good. I had the salmon which came with a salad. The salmon had a nice crispy outside and a tender juicy inside how I like it. That came with a salad that I enjoyed as well. We have had really good meals at other Eataly’s across the city. We were surprised and disappointed with the service here. If you found this helpful follow me. I don’t give many 5* because I reserve that for the very best in food, service and experience. I try to be quick to the most important stuff, the food. Then add notes about the rest. Enjoy!

We love Eataly so had high expectations and were unfortunately disappointed. The store is small comparing to other locations and has limited selection of products. We went to the restaurant for a quick dinner. The food was good (apart from gnocchi - the pesto sauce was really poor in flavour) and they also offered more drinks than san pellegrino. The food was expensive for what it was (quality) - $80 for two main dishes and two drinks considering the portions are small. The staff was fine - three waiters came to get our order.. would be nice if they talked to each other.
