Went for their wine tasting event and learnt a bit about choosing wine for the occasion. Big shoutout to the staff- very pleasant and welcoming ❗️
Wonderful store. Kurt from Australia is so nice and knowledgeable
Beautiful new location on the corner of 66 and second they have a large selection of wines from $15 up to hundreds +++ By far the nicest build out I have ever seen in NY
Love this wine store. They have variety of wines to choose from & every price range. This is my favorite Italian wine, priced at reasonable. You should give this wine store a try.

A warm welcome awaits you in this magnificent shop, and professionalism is guaranteed! The whole team was great during my visit.
The people are so helpful and the variety of great wines at fair prices is terrific
Best selection of large format and 2nd wine Bordeaux! Fast friendly service. Insane inventory. GREAT prices. I am very impressed and more able to share the wines I like at parties because of the price and selection here. I am SO happy to have been recommended Millesima for all of my wine needs. Millesima - A Somms best friend!
What a fantastic place! Great and knowledgeable people, fantastic wine tasting, and wonderful selection!
An amazing store with wide varieties of wine selection:)
The wine is excellent and fairly priced. The service is the best I have experienced in a wine store. We had a shipment that went astray, and the sales person was quickly on the case to make things right.
Came here for their wine tasting event and Henry was absolutely amazing! He was enthusiastic, professional, and explained each wine vividly. Kaylee was also spectacular in helping me choose the perfect wine for me! The atmosphere of this place is so welcoming! Definitely a returning customer. ❤️
If you like fine wine, this is the place to go. Even if you are a novice, they have great wine tastings and the staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. We have ordered bottles as well and have had no issues.
Millesima's inner sanctum is an elegant architectural wonder to behold. Every time I walk into this room, I am enveloped in aesthetic elegance and sophistication. The team is gracious, inviting, knowledgeable, and without an air of haughtiness. The wines and price range are for the novice with little $ to spare to the wine connoisseur. Millesima is a wine store experience for everyone.

With Morrell closing their Rockefeller store front and Sherry Lehmann long gone bankrupt, Millesima might be the best store in Manhattan for French Wines. Good for wines at all price ranges. They have great stock of older wines whose provenance is without doubt. Competitive prices.
I’ve been there to buy some gift wine for my friend during my NYC trip. I bought Rioja wine, Riesling, Moet. They were nice. People working here are very kind. Thank you. I will visit next time too.
Just beautiful, like a wine museum. Unfortunately the prices for desirable hard to get wines are top of the market for the most selections. But if you just picked up that Basquiat at the gallery and wanted to grab a bottle to celebrate, they will definitely have something you like. They know their neighborhood, and presumably their customer base. A likely replacement for the Sherry Lehman crowd now that they are in bankruptcy.

I was disappointed with my recent experience at Millesima. Yesterday I purchased a bottle of sake for my boyfriend but realized later it wasn’t the one he prefers. When I returned to the store to exchange it, I was told that exchanges are against the law. While I understand the need to follow regulations, it was frustrating that this policy wasn’t posted anywhere in the store or ever mentioned when going back and forth on which bottle to get. I had walked back in the freezing cold with the unopened bottle, hoping for a simple exchange, but instead of making an exception, they didn’t, which put a bad taste in my mouth. It’s an unfortunate experience that makes me not want to return, despite the store’s nice selection.

I received notice that my wine order had shipped on July 17 and would arrive within the week. Its is now August 5 and I have still not received the shipment although my credit card has been billed.
They sent broken cases, don't reply to emails and make the worst experience ever when ordering thousands of dollars of wine. And did it twice. And still no response. Avoid.

I placed an order in June 2025, by Feb 2026 have barely received a response to my numerous emails and phone calls and have still not received my wine. I would stay away.
I would not recommend ordering wine futures through Millesima. I’ve worked with several brokers and Millesima has made up 90% of my frustration. They kept getting order details wrong, double charged me for months at a time, will not respond to emails within two weeks/month, and will not answer any questions when you call them on the phone. I can understand that mistakes happen, but then it’s all about how you recover. There was no recovery from Millesima, just radio silence and increased frustration for me.
I had a very disappointing experience with this store. I ordered a collectible champagne bottle via Millesima's online store (a $300 Dom Pérignon Limited Edition Takashi Murakami Vintage 2015), and when it arrived, both the bottle and the box had noticeable scratches. I suppose this might not be an issue with a normal bottle of champagne, but since I intended to keep this one on display and not drink it and dispose of it, I contacted the store with photos, and their team explicitly told me via email that I was “more than welcome” to come in and exchange it for one in better condition. After taking time out of my workday to go to the store (which was not close to my apartment), I was told that an exchange would not be possible. The sales associate was also rude to me in the store, despite how accommodating they made themselves sound over email. This left me feeling sad and embarrassed, especially since I had sent photos of the damage ahead of time specifically to avoid ending up in this kind of situation. When I later requested a full return due to the obvious defects, I was told that no returns or exchanges are allowed under any circumstance, despite the initial offer to replace the bottle. In stark contrast, I reached out directly to Dom Pérignon after this experience to see if they could help me, and the difference in service was really night and day. They immediately offered to replace the bottle without hesitation and were consistently kind and responsive. To top it all off, I ran into issues shipping the damaged bottle back using their prepaid label (due to FedEx restrictions on shipping alcohol/needing a license to do so) and Dom Pérignon even apologized for that and simply told me to keep the damaged bottle instead of putting me through more hassle. Now I literally have two of the collectible bottle, and can drink the damaged one and keep the perfect one that Dom P sent. That level of above-and-beyond professionalism and generosity made Millesima’s handling of the situation feel even more disappointing. I do understand store policies, but the inconsistency/poor communication and lack of accountability here were incredibly frustrating. For a high-end retailer, I expected far better customer service. I definitely won’t be purchasing from them again.
I received an email on 12/15 stating my order would be shipped that day via overnight shipping. On Wednesday 12/17 I still had not received my order. I called Millesima customer service and was told that the bottles were in stock and the order would be shipped later that day despite having already paid for overnight shipping. Later that day I received another call from Millesima stating that one of the bottles was not in stock and that the remaining bottle would be shipped and a refund would be issued. As of this review, I still had not received a tracking number or any indication the wine has shipped. More importantly, I have not received a refund. Customer service regarding this transaction has been nonexistent.
It has been a very frustrating experience. I placed an online order to send a gift to a friend, but the order was cancelled even though my card was charged. I’ve emailed the company multiple times requesting a refund, but I haven’t received any response. I haven’t received my money back on my card still. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone.
