This place is phenomenal. Recently a couple of my favorite restaurants feel like they’ve gone down in quality but the food here has always been to die for. My girlfriend and I could eat here every week and we would be happy for the rest of our lives. The Korean Fried Chicken is by far my favorite item here, and possibly in all of food.

Delicious food! Came in Sunday afternoon and it was busy, our wait was very short and customer service was excellent... Will definitely come back.

The bulgogi is amazing-- perfect every time (just the right amount of sweet and spicy) and the cucumber kimchi is the best around. Service is friendly, fast and just awesome-- staff is always understanding and answers questions. They even gave me pointers on how to make kimchi at home! This is our go-to for Korean BBQ. There are a lot of really good options on the menu, definitely something for everyone. Our kid loves their chicken and the pork cutlet. Recommend coming hungry because all the portions are generous and prices really fair. It reminds us of being back in South Korea. Definitely recommend.

I've been coming here for years. I like it, but I'm a bit sad that they no longer carry the Barley Tea.

This place is amazing for the food these ladies never disappoint. This is my go to spot for my cucumbers kimchi and kimchi pancakes and kimchi soup!

I order the Bibimbap with egg and beef, they both are delicious. If this is your first time to try he Korean food. I would recommend you this kind of entrees. The most popular and traditional food. BTW, the side s are free to refill, like cucumbers, spicy carrots and cabbage.

Had such an amazing meal here! The side dishes are so good. I ordered bbq and hot pot everything was delicious. I like that we got to cook our own food on the grill!

Chicken yaki is great. Spicy chicken yaki is also great. The best is the pork bbq - jayuk gui, but there is also pork bbq that is spicy w stir fry veggies. That one's my favorite. So good, remains good. Ok this place is great. Please click 'like' if you like my reviews...

Okay... full disclosure-- I don't eat Korean food (or Mexican or Chinese--I'm a meat and potatoes person), and I'm happy to report they had breaded chicken and plain rice. That being said, my family LOVES this place, and the one time I went with them, I observed excellent friendly service. The waitress was attentive and overall it was a very nice family dinner! We were singing happy birthday to our grandson (over WhatsApp) at one point, and the staff joined us in singing) lol. Very nice.

Best Hidden Gem of a restaurant! The service is wonderful, setting is so cozy and sweet and the food is amazing! I got the kimchi stew and omg I could have cried from how delish it was! I took some kimbap to go and also not disappointed but so happy everything I got was great! My sister ordered Mandu and a rice stir fry and I got to taste them too and was slightly jealous because my stomach was too small to fit anymore good food!

I Loved the food I choose, the waitress was very nice and good price for the size of food. I ordered bibimbap with squid, I don't remember the exactly name.

love this place so so much. it’s close to my house and I visit all the time with my mom and my boyfriend. Get the korean fried chicken if you’ve never had it. It’s amazing!! I also always get the scallion pancake, any variety is good.

Great experience! My husband took me on a date here and as soon as we opened the door the staff were very welcoming. The bulgogi was perfectly marinated and the banchans were refilled when they got low. Their cucumber kimchi was so amazing, fresh and delicious that I got a takeout container full of it to bring home! We were in and out in 30 minutes, so it’s the perfect spot for a quick lunch. We can’t wait to come back and get different food! Thank you for the amazing lunch!

First time here was a success. There were many foods I wanted to try traditional korean style. It did NOT disappoint! Everything I had was delicious! I was surprised at how nice the staff was and how understanding they were when we asked questions. The bento boxes at lunchtime are the perfect amount of food for the price! I'm totally trying the hotpot and grill next time!! Update: I've been here many times. Every time I try something new. Every time I am impressed with how yummy it is. I think the amount of food on the plate is plenty for the price you pay.

I absolutely enjoyed my dinner. My friends and I visited for the first time as our monthly date and OMG. The service was amazing and they didn't laugh at us trying to pronounce names of the food. The Korean fried chicken was by far THE BEST I have had. The food was fresh, hot, and packed full of flavor! It was the perfect spot to enjoy our Friday night dinner. I was surprised it wasn't packed! It was so good half the crew came back again the next week and I am taking my husband soon! I would absolutely recommend!

We’ve been coming here for over a decade, and the quality of the food has remained consistently excellent. The small interior makes the restaurant feel cozy, and the complimentary small dishes are always tasty. We ordered the seafood and scallion pancake, kimchi and scallion pancake, kam poong ki (Korean chicken wings), seafood jampong, regular dolsot bibimbap, and chajangmyun. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service is also great. This is our go-to spot for Korean food in Delaware, and we will definitely keep coming back for years to come!

Loved coming here for a quick bite to eat! The Garlic Shrimp came with all kinds of sides to add to the dish. The butter was rich & exceptional, which gave all the sides the right amount of flavoring. Such a beautiful display of food, and it did not disappoint.

Absolutely loved every minute of our visit here. I ordered food that I couldn't pronounce but it was delicious. The hostess was very kind to us and even helped my very picky mother figure out what to order and she loved every bite. I felt the prices were very reasonable considering how much you got. Oh and the appetizers were wonderful! 😍🤤🤤 We're definitely going back!

It was my first time at this spot, there is a server—tall and lean, she noticed we were chopstick newbies. She totally saved the day by crafting a makeshift pair for us! We ordered the samgyeopsal, fried shrimp kimbap, and spicy tuna kimbap. I was kind of expecting a grill-at-the-table situation for the samgyeopsal, but it came already cooked. No biggie, though, especially since the side dishes and pork belly were seriously amazing. Our server was like a mind reader! She saw us Googling dishes and jumped in to explain everything, even bringing us extra garlic stems with a spicy kick—so good. Even though we were stuffed, we were still curious about the menu. Again, she came to the rescue, asking if we liked spicy food and recommending the jaeyuk bokkum. Seriously, it was even better than the samgyeopsal! I’d seen some reviews complaining about slow service, but we didn’t have that experience at all. The place is definitely cozy, but the service more than makes up for it. We made sure to tip generously—our server really took care of us. I'm already planning my next visit!

We've been here a couple of times, and the food has been great. Last time we had beef soondoboo and chicken dolsot bibimbap. The broth in the soondoboo was especially good. We've also had the mandoo there (good). The food is equal to, or better than many of the other Korean restaurants we've been to. You can also get refills on your banchan, which is customary but still appreciated (we've been to some restaurants where they don't even offer banchan).

M

My first time here. Came alone on a business trip Food and service were 5 stars. Best Korean food I have had in a long time. Kimchi was not very spicy but great flavor. Bibimbap was excellent. Ask for the rice crispy as they tend to not over crisp it (unless you dont like it crispy...why?!?!) My waiter was friendly and the food came out quickly. The place is a bit small I imagine a big party of 6+ might havr trouble gwtting a seat but otherwise I would say a must try!!!

The best and most authentic Korean food in the area! ✨ Came here spontaneously because we were in the area and it was such a good choice. Even my picky friend (who doesn’t try new food) enjoyed it a lot. Even when reheated at home the leftovers were so tasty and flavorful. It’s a small spot with a very cozy atmosphere and the service was great, friendly and attentive. Definitely did not disappoint and we will be back!

I love this place so much. The dumplings are amazing and the bulgogi is mouthwatering but my favorite dish is the spicy tofu teriyaki. I don't know how they make their tofu so delicious! I've been a hundred times now and I'm delighted every time I get to enjoy this restaurant!

One of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in the tri-state area. All of the meats and vegetables used are very fresh, which pairs excellently with any of the Rice or Noodle dishes! You won't go wrong by picking this place that's very family friendly!

The wife and I were looking for a new location to try authentic Korean food after being disappointed by other locations. The meal we had was as close to authentic as we could have asked for. rock solid Korean BBQ. the bulgogi was insanely delicious and well worth the price. all the sides were outstanding as well, particularly the kimchi which was bright and tangy without being too hot or spicy. I'm looking forward to coming back soon.

To be completely honest, I was very hesitant to try this place. I didn’t feel like I had enough information about this place. I typically drive out of state for Korean food/Korean BBQ. Ended up here and must say I’ll be back. The service was great. Visiting during the pandemic means places aren’t as packed, but we prefer it that way. The food was good; we ordered the Kalbi and chicken bbq which came with various side dishes and lettuce leaves. We even ordered a side of kimchi to take home. Glad I’ve found good Korean food in Delaware.

Only Korean food in Newark. Their service is good and usually don’t need to wait for seat. It’s a good place to get some soup in winter to warm up. I ordered beef song tofu, Rick cake and beef soup

Nice little hole-in-the-wall spot for some really good eats. My son and I dropped her for an early dinner and we were not disappointed. Our server was polite and explained things to my son for clarity. He's not used to eating like I do with my bougie tastes so he's getting my experiences. The food was sizzling, and smelled phenomenal. A ton of sides and refreshing Sprite for my kid and a sweet tea for me. Didn't seem like a lot of food but when you start piecing it together, you end up really full really fast if you're not taking your time. Definitely going back.

I used to come here for Korean food all the time cause the location is convenient, I remember people were a lot nicer back then. I always order the same thing but this time wanted to try sometime new, so I asked our waitress for advice. She was upset about us or something, cold face and didn’t want to answer any questions. I was curious about the samgye tang, with the description: a whole chicken. I wasn’t sure if that’s a one serving dish so I asked how big is the chicken, she replied: one chicken, I asked again and again for more information all I get her to say is: one chicken. Finally she laughed me said a small one it’s not like a turkey! At least that’s is helpful and I end up ordering that. But honestly food is average, even though better than services. I would rather driving 10 more mins to Wilmington for Kalbi bistro. Better Korean food and better service.

Three stars because the fried dumplings were delicious the shrimp Korean roll was dry and overly sticky and the avocado inside were going bad I do wish it came with any sort of sauce instead of just the packs of soy sauce I thought at least the Korean wings would come out ok But I definitely wouldn't return

Read good reviews but sadly wouldn't recommend. Food wasn't up to the mark & was quite expensive for the quantity offered. Service wasn't too great either.

The owner treats people differently and only treat Korean people nicely. The food tastes fine, but the portions are very small, especially compared to its price. As a non-Korean in the restaurant, you will have to wait because Korean customers always take priority. They get seated and served first. They can easily get more side dishes, but as a non Korean you only get a little in every side dish, even though we pay the same price. Not a welcoming restaurant at all. Would not recommend going.

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5) I came here with my sister and kids, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. • First, I asked for water with no ice, but all the drinks came with ice. • My kids really liked the fish cake side dish, so I asked for a refill. One waitress was very kind and gave us more. My sister then tried it and wanted some too. When we asked another waitress (with curly hair) if we could get a little more, she said, “No, there is a limit for that.” A few minutes later, I noticed the same waitress serving a full refill of everything to another table (Korean customers). I was only asking for one side dish, but was told no, even after spending $65 before tips. Other issues made the visit uncomfortable: • The restaurant was hot, the AC was not on. • The bathroom had no toilet paper — I had to open the cabinet myself and replace it. • Another customer and employee were speaking very loudly in another language and sometimes throwing in curse words in English, which made the atmosphere unpleasant. • While we were still eating, the curly-haired waitress tried to take away our plate. • Water was never refilled unless we specifically asked. Overall, this was not a welcoming experience. Good customer service should be consistent with all guests, not selective.

Poor attitude from the staff. They missed one of our orders, never followed up, and tried to push us out the door before we finished our food. Very rude and unprofessional. Save your money and go somewhere else.
