The entire staff is amazing 👏 😍 Customer service is on point. The food is delicious and I can't wait to go back for brunch! Can't stop thinking about the delicious fried lobster. & waffles 😋 The owner Sylvia makes sure all her guests are happy & serviced well during their visit!!! The bartender is super cute & friendly. Her drinks are delicious 💕 Great spot to celebrate your birthday 🎂 🥳 or any special occasion 😊
The service was amazing. They were attentive and friendly. We had some tasty food. The music was good too. A nice mix.
I had a great time at this location, the staff was amazing, and drinks were awesome. Upon entering, we were seated, then a deck of extra large Uno cards was placed on the table to play while you wait for your appetizers, and I thought that was so cute. Once the food came, it was time to eat. Everything looked really good, and the smell was to die for. I would recommend it and will be back.
The vibe was definitely chill but the food was on point. Crab Egg roll for appetizers, along with the shrimp and fries dinner. Order extra shimp!! The lobster meal was fried to protection
My wife and I went on a Thursday night. It was moderately crowded but we were sat immediately. The food was very high quality with excellent seasoning. We had Salmon pasta, Shrimp and fries, calamari, and jerk chicken skewers. There was only one waitress but she was efficient and courteous. The live DJ was so good he might have been making a mixtape. It was a little bit more expensive than a commercial restaurant but was well worth it. My wife and I had a great time and I highly recommend.
Me and my friends visited Seafood Mania on Cinco de Mayo and we had a great time. The drinks and food were really good. I ordered the seafood Omelette and my friends had shrimp and grits. The music and atmosphere was on point. I will be returning soon.
The place is a bit tight, but definitely pack a punch. A lot of ladies . The food was delicious. Drinks good. Vibe, great they had a dj!

The reviews for Seafood Mania have been mixed as of late. Some days they’re on and other days they are off. But during my visit, their game was on, which is how I’m basing my review. My girlfriends and I celebrated my sister's birthday, and we had a great time. We arrived at the restaurant's opening, and they already had the music going. The restaurant wasn't packed, so fulfilling our orders wasn't a problem. Among some of the food items ordered were the Salmon bites, Crab Egg Rolls, Fried Sweet Chili Wings with Fries, Fish and Shrimp Combo, Jerk Shrimp Skewer Cajun Pasta, Lamb Chops, and two Seafood Boils. One of the two boils was underseasoned, and the mania sauce was oily but everything else was great. The lamb was seasoned well and tender. My husband loved the pasta dish, and the wings with fries were tasty. I’m not sure why the inconsistency exists, but I do hope that they continue on this path with the quality of their food, as we had a good time.
Had a great time celebrating mom's 94th birthday. All she wanted was "seafood" so we thought to give this new neighborhood restaurant a try. Staff was extremely accommodating with our needs for an elder as well as a toddler. Food and drinks were absolutely amazing, we will be back!!

The food was good, but I think I'll get something different next time. My server was lovely, and the music was on point. I got calamari and seafood nachos. The table next to me go the coconut shrimp, and they looked big and juicy. Drinks were super strong.
My son and I were craving Seafood Boil. When I saw that Seafood Mania was new & women owned, my son, and I decided to try them out. First, I called to make sure they were open and then asked if they served a seafood boil. The lady on the phone was very nice. She told me that this was a soft opening & they had a limited menu. She told me the price which I thought was higher than others but we decided to go and just share the $70 BIG BOI which had Snow Grab Legs, Lobster Tail, Shrimps, Mussels, Potato, Corn. When we walked in, we were greeted by three women with a smile. However, there were more than just the three women there. Two or three more were seated at the bar, & they were very clearly part of the staff, but they didn't acknowledged us. I found this to be strange only because we were the only customers that walked in there and we have been to a few soft openings. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE, greeted us with enthusiasm but I guess not at Seafood Mania! Anyway, the server, who was one of the three who greeted us, showed us to our table. She handed us the limited menu. If I remember correctly, there was a Caesar salad, Mania salad, clam chowder, a few fried appetizers, skirt steak and two of their seafood boils. One of the seafood boil was $45 called CAJAN MANIA & it had Snow Crab Legs, Shrimps, Mussels, Potato, Corn. A lobster tail added was the extra $25 for the BIG BOI. Since we were sharing the Big Boi, we decided to also order the Caesar salad and the chowder. The server told us that they were out of Caesar salad but they do have a Greek Salad which I guess they renamed as Mania Salad. In the menu it stated that it didn't have onions and olives so I guess it isn't a Greek salad? I asked if the chowder was white or red. She said white and that it was very good. I ordered it and it was neither white nor red. Well, maybe red but a real dark red. I actually think it was their mania sauce with tiny chopped pieces of canned clams and a bunch of what I believe was cilantro, also chopped but the stems were left in and it made for an unpleasant experience for my son and I. The server told us to give an honest feedback because they need to know if changes could be made. So I told her. She continued to smile, thanked me because the owners "really want to know," and then told me she would let them know. The Big Boi was served with fireworks that we could taste in the broth that once again had the same overpowering mania sauce. It did not come like the way your average boils are served. It didn't look like the way their Cajan Mania is presented on their website, in a plastic bag like we expected. The Big Boi came in a very big Martini glass. It only had 1 tiny corn and 1 small potato. I do believe that there's a good amount of shrimp and some mussels and although we didn't like the broth, it would have been a nice touch to serve this with Italian bread or any bread for that matter so we could dip it in the broth, an option for those that like the broth. I asked for ramen to be added, a $5 up charge. But my son was avoiding carbs and didn't want it. The cook was kind enough to serve it on the side. However, what was served was spaghetti tossed in guess what? Mania sauce! By the way, they bottled versions of this sauce for sale. I wish that it was communicated to me that they didn't have ramen to give me the option to say yes or no to the spaghetti instead of just serving it to me and hoping I wouldn't complain. At least they removed the $5 charge. After all, I didn't eat it after I had a taste. The place was too dark. We couldn't see what we were eating. However, the place was nicely decorated. We enjoyed the painted walls & the usual sea creatures everywhere. If you are going there, bring a sweater or a jacket as it was chilly in there. We also had to ask for paper napkins because they weren't provided. Look, the place is new & there is gonna be some trial and error.I hope that this review is read as constructive criticism. The server was nice, the place looked nice.
The drive from Brooklyn was torturous! However, the food choice of fish, shrimp and lobster with grits excited my taste buds. The spicy sauce that is served with the lobster was good enough to be sold in a bottle. The drinks fell flat for me because they are pre-made. However, the food made up for my dislike for the drinks. The atmosphere is fun but the lighting and seating arrangement could use some thoughtful planning. I would frequent if it was BYOB just for the food.

It would be 5 stars. But I can't be regular when the menu has mac&cheese for $30. In a small dish. They and everyone else just out pricing the customers

The service was good but if you reserve in advance there is a $25 reservation charge that’s applied to your bill. Make sure it shows up on the bill because they forgot to put it on mine until i corrected them. Our waitress was good but the food was mid. Not a fan of the salmon bites and the fried fish was fresh but not seasoned. The charred grilled oyster was alright. I did like the nachos, calamari with sweet chili was really good and the drinks are strong. I do not suggest this place you are looking to chat it up with your friend as the music tend to be on the higher side. This is a good lil happy hour place to grab drinks and small snack.
While the service was 5 star by our waitress and an additional waiter who was backing her up and oh so helpful. If you needed something, you weren’t told “oh let me get your server.” He got it done! Kudos to the wait staff. Cozy ambiance and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Our meal, unfortunately, was marginal at best and overpriced. $50+ bucks for 2 people Had to send the fries back as they wee lukewarm at best. Needless to say I won’t be back. This is one and done!

They only reason there is a Star is because the young lady serving the table Khadijah did the best she could to make up for the inadequatcies of the facility . There wasn't many things asked for. The seafood was over cooked, and salty. I asked for lemon pepper seasoning mild sauce on my shrimp. It was horrible. No substitution nor replacements were offered. It's meant a lot to try to support a black own business.but I understand why we take our business elsewhere.
I wish I could leave a star review. I was visiting NYC for my birthday, and it was suggested we try this venue. Knowing it was Labor Day weekend, three different people sent an email to request a reservation; however, no one responded, which is my first complaint. Therefore, we took our chance and arrived when the doors opened. My second complaint is that we parked in the back, which apparently is for employees only. The employee outside on her phone advised us to move. Mind you, there were no signs that said "employees only." My third complaint is that the young lady asked how many were in our party, and we advised her there was a total of four (keep in mind three of us were present). The waitress showed us where we would be seated, which was a half/half table, meaning half of the party would be at a table, and half would be sitting on bar stools. Keep in mind there was only two customers in the restaurant at the time. Maybe we try again, on our next visit. The music was fire and the decor was a vibe!

I was really looking forward to trying this place, especially because I try to support Black-owned businesses whenever I can. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. There was a long wait just to be seated, and no one at the door to acknowledge us or explain the process, so we were left standing and unsure of what to do. Once seated, the wait for food was also very long. The prices are high, but the portion sizes were small for the cost and didn’t feel worth it. We also didn’t have utensils on the table and weren’t checked on by our waitress, which made it difficult to ask for basic things. After finishing our food, our plates sat on the table for a long time before being cleared. It appeared that there were only two people working, which may explain some of the delays, but it still impacted the overall experience. I really wanted to enjoy and support this business, but between the long wait times, lack of communication, and service issues, it didn’t meet expectations. With better staffing and front-of-house organization, this place could improve significantly.
