Two Brothers From Italy Pizza

We have been longtime fans of Two Brothers. As anyone in this area knows, you want great pizza, pasta, sandwiches, you go to Two Brothers in the Temple Heights location. But tonight was so much more. I called in an order to be picked up by my son. When he got there, his debit card wouldn’t work. Instead of making him go get cash or a different form of payment, Maria, the manager, let him take the order without paying and told him to call in the payment when he got home. I called in and they took my payment over the phone. This kind of amazing customer service is so rare these days. I am a loud and proud customer for life!

Service varies depending on who is working, but the food is quite good. For like 17 dollars I can get a huge calzone that will last me three days in leftovers. I weigh 220 lbs, but I cant eat much more than 1/3 of this thing in one sitting. Good food, good price, and it reheats well

I grew up on the adjacent street. Been coming to this location for 20 years it seems. The store was always run by the eldest sister if im not mistaken. For me, she is synonymous with good pizza. Recently met some of the other family and was very delighted. Beautiful people, beaut zaa. Will always come back here to support. Very mellow inside, great to enjoy an nice meal. Dave Portnoy needs to see this place. One bite everyone knows the rules Edit: came in to get my weekly zaaa and Virginia and her team handled what I like to call a “terrible customer” they handled it perfectly. Had to tip them a 20 for the excellent effort. Thanks again guys

My sister drives an hour and a half out here to visit me, and we always go there for lunch. They have good specials and they have good pizza and they have good calzone, really nothing bad at all to say about them. Always been satisfied when I go here, and they're just down the street from me.

I get the supreme pizza and they don’t skimp on the veggies. The cheese and sauce are really good. You will pay more for the pizza than a chain pizza establishment but for convenience and value this place is worth it. I gave a 3 on the atmosphere because I think the place could use an update but it is clean.

I went to Oceanside. Love their food and service was friendly. The food is excellent. I first called Vista, CA. They said they didn't make calazones eventhough it was on the menu. My sister told me that she went to Vista and they stopped making eggplant parmigian because the eggplant is too expensive. And for whatever reason Vista would not honor the Wednesday special which is a couple dollars more for an extra large pizza. I was very disappointed with Vista, Ca. Vista is so close to my home. It's rather go to Oceanside. I hope this issue is addressed.

Tried eating here for the first time this past week. I travel for work and I’m always looking for good food! I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised how good everything was. I got a meatball sub, lasagna and a slice of pizza! Tried a bit of everything, as there was too much for me to finish. Absolutely delicious and this Massachusetts guy will be back when I travel to San Diego in January! Everyone working in the restaurant was very friendly as well !

My beautiful wife from Buffalo told this Socal guy once upon a time this is the only good place for PIE. I asked Apple? Cherry? Pumpkin? She said NO! PIE! Now that I know the difference between Pizza and PIE… she was right again. Just picked up a Pepperoni Mushroom and they knocked it out if the park again!

My family have been somewhat regular customers for about a decade. The food is awesome, I'm a big fan of the breadsticks specifically. Their meatballs are some of the best I've had. The staff is very polite and really cool. A wonderful place for a family lunch.

If you go to two brothers on Oceanside Blvd there's no such thing as bad food you can count on delicious every time. The same is not true of the two bros on e. Vista Way...

My son & I stumbled across this gem while coming into town for a soccer tournament. It had great reviews on Yelp & Google, so we decided to check it out. To our surprised, we found the restaurant like a ghost town. There were a few people picking up to-go orders, but I guess everyone else was closer to the Pier on a Friday night. That left the whole place to ourselves!!! The staff was overly courteous and helpful. The food was prepared to order, and it was delicious. I can't really say enough about the service, it was top notch. They seem genuinely interested in making sure our experience was pleasant. Also, the place was very clean. I watched the staff cleaning down every inch of the place which brought this COVID-germophobe's mind to ease. :) Thank you! Next time I am in Oceanside, I will definitely stop there again!

First time at this location. It was busy as all of the tables were occupied and a lot of people coming in to pick up orders. My daughter had spaghetti with two large meatballs and my son and I shared a 15 inch half cheese half pepperoni. They use plenty of chewy cheese and the crust was really tasty. Everything out the door for roughly $30 so I thought it was pretty good deal. They had televisions on with college football and some tables and chairs if you want to sit outside. So all in all, I was pretty satisfied and I will surely be back.

Good quantities of food for the lunch special. They've got a selection of food other than the pizza as well. The lunch special came with some side bread, which at first I wished I could have substituted for a salad. But after trying it, it was fresh, crispy and delicious! Much better than almost any other side bread I've had before. A great way to clean up the extra tasty sauce from my lasagna.

We ordered the biggest pizza they had with sausage and pepperoni and wow was it big. The prices were a bit higher than I expected and the pizza was good but not great (crust was a little bread-ier than I personally like) but was still hands down better than any of the Dominos or Papa John’s chains around here.

Tried these guys for the first time, and have a mixed opinion. The pizza was alright, but not that great sadly. Just got a generic pepperoni, and while the crust was amazing the rest of the slice felt chewy (Kinda like little Caesar’s to be specific) and the cheese tasted subpar/cheap. The original calzone I ordered was great, no complaints about that. Perfectly layered with meat and cheese, and perfectly crisp. Probably what I would only order next time. Pasta was pretty good as well, so they do well with their food for the most part. It was just disappointing that the pizza was not that great this round. Looked great, but not so much in taste. Hopefully next time will be better.

Pizza was great. I ordered 5 large pies for an event and asked for plates to go. None. Then I asked for peppers and cheese and was told I could only have three because the owner had chewed out the help for giving too much away. >$100 worth of sales and too cheap to give some plates and handful of peppers and cheese. We’ll do our events elsewhere, due to the owner.

I read many good reviews for this restaurant and my wife and I love going to different pizza places and comparing them. My expectations were high but we were both very disappointed. The service was good and the atmosphere was OK, but the pizza was nothing special. The crust was dry with no flavor and the amount of pepperoni that was put on our pizza made it seem like they were running out as it was quite scarce. I wouldve been just as satisfied buying a DiGiorno pizza from the grocery store. Maybe the other food that they serve is better than their pizza.

I feel like this place has changed recently. I ordered the lasagna last night and it was over cooked on the bottom and the big two pieces bread that is usually offered was downsized to two small pieces and it was overall $16. It was pricy for an average meal. Probably won’t be back for a while unless things change for the better.

However, once we cut into them, it became clear that the bulk of the portion was dough. Another odd detail was that the marinara sauce came on the side instead of inside the calzone, which made the filling feel dry and disconnected from the dish. As for flavor, both calzones fell short. The veggie one lacked seasoning and tasted flat, while the chicken version didn’t have much taste beyond the grilled chicken itself. The dough also leaned more on the bland side, so overall, it felt like we were eating bread with a few fillings rather than a flavorful calzone. Since we were mainly looking for a quick bite before our activity, we ate about half of each and decided not to take the rest with us. While the service was polite and the food did come out quickly as promised, the calzones themselves were underwhelming. Generous portions and fast turnaround are positives, but in terms of taste and satisfaction, we left disappointed.

I wish my review wasn't negative for a family-owned business but there are much better nearby places to get the same things with better quality all around.

Didn’t even help me out when I was at the counter two of the employees were sitting in the dining room just hanging out while one guy worked in the back. I came five minutes after my order was supposed to be ready and had to wait another five minutes decided to get a beer while I was waitingand it took forever for somebody to notice. I was waiting to get a beer all the while they were super slow and everybody just seemed to be hanging out it’d be really nice to get this spot back on track since all the other pizza places around suck.

* star. Why? 1-Food so so salad anti pasta says on web site. But counter person called it antipasto She stares a lot Don’t know why!! Went in with my grown daughter (15%tip) I always leave a tip. It’s a hard job to deal with customers. Plus they can be closed in a day. PANDEMIC so I feel bad 2-Service guy was genuine. Young guy liked his approach 3-Atmosphere old very old. Not like the pictures I see with red checkered table cloths. I won’t return.

Refused to make my order right. I ordered two meatballs over tortellini. Got the pasta, but no meatballs. Called, spoke with two individuals, and was told that I had to drive to the restaurant to get my order corrected. Shame on them. They screw up my order, and then expect me to be inconvenienced by having to drive to the restaurant in order to make things right. The worst part was the attitude of the employee - refusing to take responsibility for their mistake.

We have been ordering pizza from this place for years and it has always. been good. I don't like to put negative reviews for businesses and I don't really do it. We ordered 2 pizza. One pastrami and one half vegetarian half chicken ranch. Vegi was soggy and pastrami was over loaded with mustard. The chicken for chicken ranch was made out of chicken nugget pieces. I literally had to throw it away. Called to speak with the manager and they told me the manager will call me back and no phone call.

Employees are so rude, they forgot toppings on my pizza didn’t say sorry or anything just grabbed it put the cold toppings on and gave it back. Who wants a hot slice with cold toppings ?

Yesterday I ordered it the big large pizza and it didn’t taste good it taste rubbery and mostly everybody that ate kind of threw up. $62 for it to taste like that is crazy. I don’t know if we got food poisoning because of it. But never again 🫩

This is for the one on coast highway. I saw it closed. Good riddance. Went in there when it was new, fantastic. Then every time since then it was worse. Rude employees mainly. Glad it's gone.
