La Bella Luna is highly praised for its authentic Italian cuisine and excellent service, particularly Enrique's attention. Customers rave about the lasagna and pasta alla barese. The chocolate cake is a standout dessert.
Tip: Try the lasagna and the chocolate cake; they are highly recommended.
A beautiful location with great atmosphere with attentive service. Our server, Monica, was polite and kind. She clearly has a great knowledge of the menu and enjoys the food herself, providing great recommendations of dishes to try. P.S. the carrot cake is to die for!
If you’re ever at La Bella Luna, do yourself a favor and ask for Garrett. I’ve been to a lot of Italian spots, but I’ve never met a server who could recommend a wine pairing, crack a joke, and still remember to bring extra parmesan—all without missing a beat. Garrett’s the kind of guy who makes you feel like you’re not just a guest at a restaurant, but a long-lost friend who finally made it home for dinner. Polite, professional, and just the right amount of sarcastic to keep the table laughing between courses. La Bella Luna already has great food, but honestly, Garrett made the whole experience something I’ll brag about. If you’re reading this, Garrett, I’ll take that beer now. 🍺 Cheers, my friend.
Honestly, one of the best Italian meals I’ve had in ages! We had the prosciutto and fried mozzarella for our appetizers and it was amazing! For our entrees we had the gnocchi and spaghetti with meatballs! Everything came out fast, hot, and delicious. The service was amazing and very friendly, Henry was a great server who always catered to our needs! We can not wait to come eat here again 👍🏼
I highly recommend! The food here is really good , the atmosphere is fun , and the service is fast and attentive. My server Nicole was super nice to me and my family and was always there to check in if we needed anything. Will be going again!!
Our favorite cozy spot in Baldwin Park! Excellent service! Food is amazing! Descent prices! Awesome house red wine! 100% recommend! Def good comfort food!
Me and my husband absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always excellent and authentic. We are always treated with care and Andres is the most amazing server. Always treats us with so much attention and care! The atmosphere is also amazing! Just love it!
My favorite Restaurant in Baldwin Park! Great staff. I ordered the pepperoni pizza and it was made quickly. Monica and Enrique are both personable people. And both always makes sure that my dining experience is top tier.
Highly recommend this place! I live Italian food, and have never been here before, so when we decided I was super excited. Our waitress was Nicole, she was 11/10 and she recommended some awesome dishes! Highly recommend the chicken Marsala!
I recently dined at la bela Luna and had an amazing experience! Our server, Rachel was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The gnocchi was cooked to perfection and the tiramisu was really really good. I highly recommend this restaurant!
Been here multiple times and always get amazing service from the staff and absolutely love the food! It’s perfect spot for a date night. The pizza was taking a bit longer tonight because they were very busy so they gave us a complimentary appetizer! Highly recommend this place. Big thanks Enrique for the great service and pizza recommendation.
I’m from clearwate FL. I was just looking for a bathroom. If it wasn’t for Monica I would have never stayed to eat, her energy was amazing, and she took great care of me along with balancing all the other tables! I made it at happy hour so that was amazing as well! When I come back to Orlando I know the spot I’m going to !
Perfect good, perfect service, truly a one of a kind place.
First time at Bella Luna as a local and i was greeted with smiles and a warm atmosphere! Our server Garret was accommodating and truly helped create our experience here!
Pizza here is delicious! Also got to try Sangria and two different main dishes. Definitely coming back here soon!!
My friends and I could not stop raving at how positive our dining experience at La Bella Luna was. On a busy Friday night in Baldwin Park, we were seated outside with no wait, greeted by a friendly server, and received our appetizer, drinks, and entrees within mere minutes of ordering. The entire staff—the hosts, servers, and bussers—were all tremendously courteous and friendly. Complimentary freshly baked bread, clean restrooms, and moderate prices round out the experience.
We originally stopped in for a quick bite while waiting for our table next door at Seito’s, but I’m so glad we did! We tried a couple of appetizers—the mussels in white sauce and the prosciutto burrata—and both were absolutely fantastic. When I arrived, I asked if they offered gluten-free options. While they’re not listed on the menu, the staff assured me they do, and they even let our waitress know before we were seated. I really appreciated that extra step—it felt very thoughtful and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend this spot and can’t wait to come back to try an entrée next time!
Trinity was lovely. Amazing wine, pizza, and penne alla vodka!
10/10 Trinity was amazing & great service all around. The live music added a great vibe to dinner.
Trinity was a lovely server. Great experience for dinner for two.
Garret was amazing. Had him for our first time and gave us a great experience!
Wow. Hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had dining in this area. My server, Garrett, Was incredibly attentive, had all the right recommendations, and gave us an experience I am TRULY writing home about. Excellent service and great food. Will be recommending to my friends for the atmosphere and service alone. 10/10
Great food and service. Awesome neighborhood Italian food. High quality. My favorite Tiramisu in town. Just the right sweetness! Nicole was a fantastic server. Very attentive and has a great smile. Love coming here.
This place never disappoints. From main dishes to dessert (chocolate cake is 10/10). We’ve had Garrett as our server multiple times and every single time he’s attentive, patient and professional. Great team, great food!
Nicole is consistently the best server. She remembers our wine preferences and what dishes we like. The food is always amazing and they are so accommodating to allergies and preferences. We’ve been coming here forever and they treat us like family!
We had Garrett as our server and wow we lucked out. Not only is he super friendly and quick with the refills, but those crazy blue eyes and his chill vibe made the whole night feel like we were being taken care of by a friend. He’s the kind of person who makes you want to come back not just for the food, but for the good energy. Thanks Garrett!
Nicole was absolutely phenomenal! Such a great server. So personable and kind. The food and the ambience was amazing. Such a great choice for a Mother’s Day lunch!
Nicole is not only a great employee she also is quite beautiful and so socially engaging it’s always a pleasure being greeted by her it makes our entire experience that much more enjoyable that’s one of the reasons we go there so ofter. I only wish there were more women like her in the industry she truly is an asset to the company.
Garrett helped us decide whether we wanted one pizza or two pizzas. He was very elaborate in helping us decide. Not only that, his eyes sparkled like light hitting water from the lake nearby. I will come here just to see him any time I visit Baldwin park!
Overall an excellent dining experience. I recommend.
This place was amazing! The food was amazingly fresh and flavorful!! (staff said it was house made pastas) very cute atmosphere as well and our server Nicole was very knowledgeable, cautious, and aware of making sure our allergies were taken care of:)) (gluten, dairy, tree nuts)
Okay so food was great, but let’s not lie to ourselves Garrett was the real entrée. The way he looked at us with those hypnotic blue eyes?? I almost forgot to eat. If he asked me to order dessert I didn’t want, I’d say yes without hesitation. God-tier service. And honestly? A walking rom-com moment.
Trinity was great! Best garlic knots!
Every aspect of our dining experience was excellent! The service was excellent! The salads were amazing! The entrees were absolutely delicious! The ambiance was perfect! Soft jazz playing in a warm cozy glow. We will DEFINATELY be back to this gem of a restaurant! Thank you!!!!
Our server Garrett is the man! Made our experience 10/10 and would definitely come back.
Awesome service, great food. Hosts very professional
We’ve lived in Baldwin Park for 11 years and dined here many times before but tonight’s meal was amazing! I had the Chicken Marsala, my husband had the Chicken Picatta, and we enjoyed an appetizer of mussels and garlic knots. Everything came out steaming hot and absolutely delicious! Our server Garrett was wonderful, and the live saxophone music really created a relaxing atmosphere. The prices were reasonable for such outstanding quality. If you haven’t been here in awhile I highly recommend coming back.
Camila was such an amazing server. She really help us by explaining the menu. She went above and beyond for the service. 😊
Their vodka sauce was incredible! The cocktails are more expensive than a lot of other places but they do use premium ingredients, so it’s not too bad. I got one of the specialties.. the hanger steak.. it was absolutely phenomenal, easily one of the best steaks I have ever had. The chimichury (sp?) was incredible!!! Service was really good, our waiter had really good recommendations. It’s definitely more expensive then normal Italian places, but you can tell things are homemade so it really is a great meal and I think worth the price.
When I first moved to the area I checked out the reviews and bad photos and it seemed very unappealing to I said "no thanks I'll pass" but I was in the mood for some Italian today for lunch and I gotta say it was better than I expected. I don't even like fish that much but the basa panini was really good. Definitely coming back but I really hope they stop garnishing the rims, it's like the equivalent of painting on the picture frame instead of the canvas. Good food though :)
Camila was friendly and professional. She made our experience flawless.
Beautiful atmosphere, Trinity was my server and she was super helpful, she recommended me the bolognese and it was wonderful, highly recommend.
Garrett is the coolest server ever so nice very well knowledgeable on the menu Great personality. Loving smile.
Our server, Garrett, was very accommodating, making sure all food and drinks were served rather swiftly. The food was excellent and the ambiance was quite relaxing.
I have been visiting Bella Luna for years and I love it. My personal favorite is the salmon Tonight we received a pleasant surprise from the chef he sent us a taste of their Octopus and Beef Carpaccio dishes. From the minute it arrived at the table we were in awe. The presentation was fantastic and the taste even better. Highly recommend!!!
I have 7 years living at Baldwin Park, and this Italian restaurant is one of my favorites. I love the the bread, the pasta and the tiramisu. The cheese tortellini with bolognese sauce is amazing. They have a good atmosphere to come with the entire family, and service is great. Specifically from Luba and Felipe. I totally recommend this restaurant to anyone who love’s pasta like me. Plus the area is wonderful.
I loved the food at this place. I have a saying that where they can prepare a great philly cheese steak, everything else is good. That is the case in this place. Great menu. Love that fact that you can build your own pasta style. The beer was cold. Service is good. Keep up the good work guys. Will come again.
Great Happy Hour specials for Peronis, wine, and appetizers. Garrett provided exceptional service. Highly recommend if you are in Baldwin looking for dinner or just a couple of drinks. Nice outdoor seating along the main street.
This place is AWESOME! Camila is an incredible server! So sweet and very attentive! Service here is top notch, all the way around and their Happy Hour is the best anywhere! Sit outside and enjoy Downtown Baldwin or sit inside for a more quiet dinner. Both are full of ambience and friendly service! This is our go-to, every week! 5 stars!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience at La Bella Luna, and our server Garrett truly made the night exceptional. From the moment we sat down, he was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. He checked on us just the right amount, made excellent recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The meal itself was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish came out hot and delicious, and you could tell a lot of care went into the food. Combined with Garrett’s outstanding service, it made for a memorable dining experience. We’ll absolutely be back and will definitely ask for Garrett again. Highly recommend!
A true hidden gem! This small restaurant with Roman-inspired décor is absolutely charming. From the moment you walk in, you feel transported to another era. The details on the walls, the classic ambiance, and the carefully designed atmosphere create a unique and cozy experience. The place is impeccably clean — everything is organized and beautifully maintained. You can truly see the care and dedication in every corner. But what truly stands out is the food. Every dish was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. And the desserts? Simply amazing. They were the perfect ending to the meal — rich, perfectly balanced, and unforgettable. The service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and welcoming without being intrusive. They made us feel comfortable and valued from the very beginning. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it. Perfect for a quiet, special, and memorable dining experience.
My girlfriend and I came to Orlando for our anniversary and it was such an incredible time. But what I can remember was La Bella Luna made our trip the most memorable time ever. The food, the atmosphere, the ambiance. But! The most outstanding thing was our server Garrett! He was so detailed, so professional and recommended items to us that spoke highly of the restaurant. He was an outstanding server! 5/5 ⭐️!
Stopped in Christmas day for dinner. Really appreciate the staff being there to serve. Service is very good....friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere was great...music was not loud, beautiful decor, booth seats were comfortable, very relaxing. Food... Awesome. The bruschetta was very tasteful and delicious. Only complaint is they could have added more cheese to it. The Stromboli Bella Luna was amazingly awesome! Flavorful and Delicious! And it's HUGE! Well worth the cost. Definitely get this again. Overall this restaurant is an Italian gem in Baldwin Park. Highly recommend.
My server was Camila for valentine’s day she truly was the best server I’ve ever had. She recommended me so many good dishes we shared appetizers a pizza and a pasta. The environment was so good, she also recommended me a drink that she specifically made I will be coming again and asking for her as a server.
My wife and I spent a good amount of time here last night and it was a fantastic experience. The staff couldn't have been any better and our food was out of this world! We'll be back for sure. Side note: The shrimp served with the pasta was beyond delicious!!
Came here around Feb 2025, it was a nice experience with my boyfriend. We wanted to have a nice dinner for our anniversary and came across this place. We really liked the bruschetta, it was absolutely delicious (altho I prefer with a bit less of arugula). I ordered alfredo pasta and my boyfriend had lasagna. It was top notch, we ate both of our plates clean. Definitely great cooks. The key like pie was also good, my boyfriend really loved the dessert (I'm not a fan of lime, but this one was good). The atmosphere is nice, there weren't many people when we came in. If you prefer light like me, there is more of a moody-dimmed-lights vibe inside of the restaurant. As for the price, I think it was ok, we spent about $100 for our two pastas, bruschetta, two sodas. Based on the portions, I wouldn't be able to justify it any other day- but it's a good option for special occasions in my case.
Cute Italian spot in a great location! The bruschetta was INCREDIBLE and my favorite appetizer at the table. My other favorite dish was their chicken dish! I forgot what it was called but it was one of chef’s specials. This place does not have their liquor license so I would advise against their wine-based cocktails, and just get wine instead. Overall was pleased with my meal and the service
The atmosphere was warm and cozy. Food was delicious. I got the chicken Bella Luna and canoles. It was really good. We had Nicole as our server she was really sweet and attentive
Food is pretty good, though a touch on the expensive side. If you're looking for value, the calzone is quite good and huge, easily two meals (if you can prevent yourself from eating the whole thing in one sitting). Service is very inconsistent, sometimes it is quite slow. You may sit for 10-20 minutes before even being approached, even if there isn't many other patrons. It may be due to being understaffed, just stating facts. Never had a problem with rudeness or anything like that though. Highly recommend sitting outside on a nice afternoon or night, lovely people watching and atmosphere.
The server, Andres, was very kind and attentive. Salad, and pizza crust was delicious but the margarita pizza was otherwise bland. We found ourselves adding red pepper flakes and the oil and vinegar from the table (served with the bread) and it was much better. We also had the eggplant appetizer, which was again a touch bland, but not bad.
I have visited twice. The food takes a little bit of time, but so far, it has been worth the wait. Great customer service is what I value the most. Our waitress Maria has been amazing both visits. She is always kind, respectful, and very attentive.
Had to go there with the party of 6 and restaurant was empty, that was around 7pm 🙄 first of all, have no complaints about a server. Her name was Alexandra, dry helpful and sweet girl. Overall the food was good, has some Italian taste (even when nobody was Italian there). 2 out of 6 entrees came out with weird taste which was an Alfredo pasta. Weird I mean that final taste of pasta felt like they have boiled pasta in nasty water or smth and couldn’t even taste an Alfredo sauce... dry disappointed bz that was one of my favorite pastas in Italian kitchen! Took 1star off just bz of that
We had a good dining experience in La Bella Luna. The service was excellent and the food was good. The only thing that we did not like was the balsamic vinaigrette that came with olive oil for the bread, it was too bitter for us. We recommend the Fettuccini Alfredo and the Mozzarella in Carroza.
We ordered a pizza and the risotto of the day which was made with seafood, unfortunately our server did not tell us that this would be spicy and honestly that made it impossible to enjoy the flavor of the food, which is really a shame. The bread they gave us as a starter deserves all the stars 👌🏻 it was delicious! And the pizza was very delicious, especially the dough.
The service was good and the pizza was awesome! We ordered a cheese pizza with light cheese and the pizza Bella luna. Both were very good. I also ordered the stuffed mushroom which I liked too. Price is reasonable and the pizza is bigger than we thought. I will definitely visit them again.
We came to La Bella Luna for dinner. We had a Prosciutto & Burrata, and the Stromboli Bella Luna to share, along with a couple of glasses of wine. The food was delicious and the Stromboli was HUGE! Honestly, they should indicate that on the menu, even though they do provide takeout containers. The service was a little erratic that day but, the staff were very friendly.
The food was good, and it was super convenient to order from the brewery next door. Our only complaint was it is a little pricey. The hostess, Monica, was amazing, she went above and beyond to make sure our order was free of allergens and even brought the food and a high chair to our table. We really appreciate the extra effort and will definitely be back!
Food was excellent, portion was not as ordered. I ordered takeout: a 14" gluten free, sausage and mushroom pizza. It was delicious. Unfortunately, when I got home, the pizza was probably a 9" personal pan pizza. There were 4 slices. The entire pizza, with tip, cost $30. As good as the small pizza was, it was not worth the price.
We chose this place because the other we wanted to go to was too busy. This ended up being a fine choice. The service was also fine. Not particularly attentive but not bad. The bread was small. We had one of the appetizers and then some pastas. A little pricey for the serving size.
This place is OK. The price isn't justified for what you get. Good location The fried calamari was very crunchy and chewy--it may have been frozen. My linguini seemed like it was sitting in water. Might have been from frozen seafood.
The calamari was delicious and the pizza had good flavor. If we had been given more mozzarella, it would have been a great experience. Unfortunately, this pizza barely had any cheese. It felt very overpriced for just tomato sauce and tomatoes. All the cheese we had was basically what is seen in this picture on the tomatoes, the rest is sauce. It seemed they didn't have enough staff as well. Our waitress was very nice, but she barely came to our table. Someone who was not our server dropped our pizza off without any comments, we were a bit confused at first because it was placed on a stand in the middle of the hall where multiple people were walking right next to it and it was uncomfortable to have people so much over our food. We waited for a few minutes to see if anyone would come by so we could comment on getting more cheese, but we were starving so we decided to just go ahead and eat. I was a bit disappointed.
The service was great! The pizza was a little soggy and tomatoes lacked flavor. Love music was a nice touch
We ordered to go, waited for about 20 to 25 minutes. They took care of a couple who came in way after us, we said nothing. We ordered a 14”Marguerite pizza, garlic rolls, and coke. They barely put cheese on the pizza, as we grabbed the slice every single topping fell off the slice. Extremely soggy pizza, even though I asked for well done. Horrible pizza!!!
We ordered two pizzas. We ordered a margarita (in my opinion the must try at any Italian pizza place to gauge the quality, ingredients, and style). We also ordered the loaded pizza, "la bella luna". The margarita was disappointing. The "fresh mozzarella" was tough and chewy. It wasn't something I would recommend or try again. I also did not like that each piece of mozzarella was on top of a tomatoe slice. It made the pizza harder to eat and forced each bite of cheese to also be a bite of tomato The la bella luna pizza was better in terms of flavor. My main issue with this pizza was it looked like they already cooked a pepperoni pizza, then to transform it into the la bella luna they dumped the remaining toppings and reheated it. I may be wrong here, but this was my impression. The pepperoni was cooked into and with the cheese, spread all over the pizza, while the other toppings seem to have been dumped into the center of the pizza. The lack of integration was notable. Overall, I can't recommend the pizza for the price. Otherwise, I would still like to try La Bella Luna again with a non pizza dish. I will update the review at that point.
We are done with this place. The pizza just keeps getting worse and worse. I ordered it extra crispy but the center is soggy and the ends are very dry. There is hardly any cheese on it unless you pay for extra. It’s like eating a soggy flatbread
They really need to do something about their staffing. There was only one waitress waiting on 8 tables. It took us 30 minutes to have our first interaction with our server. We ordered our drinks, waited about 20 more minutes just to receive half our waters. Another 10 minutes, the other half came out. Later while we were waiting for our food, the waitress realized then that she didn’t give us our bread. We waited another 45 mins for our four entrees and by the time our food came out, we wolfed it down so quickly because we were starving. There was another table behind us that had been waiting for 30 minutes to be served but they left out of impatience. We stayed because we felt bad for the waitress but reading through the reviews, it seems like the extremely slow service is a common occurrence. Maybe I would understand if the food was amazing but for the price point, the food wasn’t worth the money spent. If you’re looking for better pasta for a better price point and service, might as well just go to Olive Garden. If you’re looking for unappetizing pizza that looks like a newbie from a Domino’s kitchen made it, just go to Domino’s instead for the cheaper price.
The second star is for the good tiramisu and warming welcome by the hostess... Don't order coffee here! Tried to order cappuccino and received the following response. "we don't have time to make it, we can only make espresso or double espresso" My order after that answer was an Americano and a double espresso. Two burnt coffees came to the table (wasn't able to tell which one was the double espresso).
Ordered a margherita pizza to-go. Very heavy on the tomato and tomato sauce, not so much on the cheese or basil (see photo). Maybe it’s authentic, I wouldn’t know I’m just a Florida boy, but I had one slice and now I’m on my way to Publix to buy more cheese and basil to add to the rest of it.
If you need to ask for bread and grated cheese with the meal and you get pizza shaker of cheese used in take outs. That’s a shame. This is a great spot. Use and offer freshly grated cheese and bread service. Food. Appetizer calamari was frozen and over cooked. Special baked lasagna blanco was burned on the bottom return to get a bland pasta dry. Not 4 stars by any means on this day.
Food was mediocre, at best. Ordered a pappardelle bolognese, meat was way rancid. Also ordered mussels, a really small portion, not fresh and 3 tiny slices of bread. Also ordered spinach cannelloni, was too sweet, undercooked and ridiculously small portion. Service was slow. White sangria was too sweet and weak. Everything was very expensive albeit low quality. Won’t be back for sure!
This photo is the result of a terrible experience at this restaurant. Long story short. 2 friends on Vacation. I ordered pasta from the main menu, my cousin orders pasta from the daily specials. Both took our first bites. Both dishes were very salty. I ate mine because I was hungry, my cousin said he could only taste salt and nothing else, so he sent it back. The server asked him if he wanted something else, but since both Pasta’s were salty and he didn’t want anything else, he didn’t want to risk another salty pasta. He decided he would eat elsewhere. We asked for the bill. Imagine the shock when the returned pasta was on the bill. My cousin said, is this a joke? The server said “ you ordered it, so you have to pay” again my cousin said, you’re kidding me? He said we put a lot of stuff in the pasta, are you gonna be like that?my cousin said, both dishes were terrible but because we ate one, we will pay for it, if you bring a new bill with the proper price. He said no, you have to pay for both or I’m calling the Police. My cousin said, then call the Police, wrote his name and phone number on the bill and handed it to the server who claimed to be the owner. He also said I’ll be across the street having dinner, when the Police arrive have them come over or call me. The police showed up, walked over to us and told us that the owner claims that we asked for alterations to the meal, and that’s why we should pay. We quickly replied that there were no alterations, we ordered from the “specials” menu. The police asked if we were willing to pay for the food we consumed. We said of course, that’s what we wanted from the beginning. The police escorted my cousin back to pay and the ordeal was over. Just thought I’d share my experience. Dine here at your own risk.
It was three of us. Cousins who enjoy a nice meal on a Sunday. We ordered the special $28 supposed to be pork medallions with veggies. It looked worse than a Boston Market meal. My cousin ordered chicken piccata. My cousins spaghetti was cold and we had to sent it back to be heated. We asked for sodas never got them, so I just said forget it. My cousin said still said “Bring me my coke” and when she got it… iy was flat. They also didn’t bring any warm bread? I guess they don’t do that here. We did order the bruschetta and it was fine. Pros: it’s pretty outside
Had a late lunch early dinner 3:45pm. Not a lot of people in the restaurant. Service was slow because of it. We were not served water or offered bread or a salad which I was surprised. Happy hour was going on but we were charged full price for our wine & when I questioned it the price was adjusted. Restaurant was cold inside so when we got out food it chilled down fast. We asked for bread & that arrived after we finished our meal. Took a pizza home & I hope that will be good. Every welcoming to neighborhood residents not welcoming to outsiders. If you think they will apply Happy Hour prices to your meals or drinks they don't. Not a happy camper with this place & I won't return.
