Pizza spot is number one in Ossining in my books! All the dinner plates are so delicious. Don’t just get the great pizza. Explore they have a great chief.
We have been coming here since our kids were babies (at least 23 years). My cousin lives in Ossining. So often when we visit, if my cousin is not cooking, we eat here. Usually we order pizzas and garlic knots. Sometimes the pastas. Great food. There used to be inside seating but for some reason it’s closed now so we sit outside which we like (weather permitting).
One of the best pizza places in Westchester. The pizza is crispy, flavorful, and fresh. The garlic knots are amazing. Very affordable. Cooks are very polite and nice. I would give this place 100 stars if I could
First of all, we are from NYC, and everyone knows NYC has some of the best pizzas in the world. This place has AMAZING PIZZA, not for nothing. Even just a plain Jane slice of cheese pizza is so tasty, and as my wife says, "ooey-gooey" Second of all, the employees are helpful and polite. They have a great selection of fresh made pizzas and drinks to choose from. We had the Buffalo chicken slice, a plain cheese, and a Sicilian pizza with tomato, fresh muzz, and basil. It's absolutely incredible for pizza that's not "from the city" Third of all there is plenty of parking and clean bathrooms. We will definitely be coming back here each time we visit Ossinning.
Excellent pizza - went there for the first time last week. Tried a regular slice and a chicken slice. Both were very good and in particular, non-greasy and no oil dripping. Crust was very crunchy and tasty. Highly recommend this place.
I stopped by this afternoon with my son. This was some of the best pizza I’d ever had! The staff was AMAZING...especially the guy at the counter. Great service + good pizza...you can’t go wrong.
Overall a nice pizza place. There is nothing special about it, small/limited indoor seating for pizza and a larger portion for a sit down dining experience. Went to this place on a Thursday mid-day and it was no wait for a slice, very good specialty pasta slices. A convenient local pizza place, would return again.
We got take out specialty pizza slices and garlic knots, all was very good. Atmosphere is typical take out, may have a couple tables to dine in, I didn't pay attention to much of that.
One of the better pizzas in Ossining. Stopped in for a slice and a soda, I think I ended up paying almost 7 bucks? Bit steep, what is it with restaurants out here and charging like 3 bucks for a 20 ounce soda? There are definitely better prices for slice and a soda in the area, and tbh they kinda under-cooked my slice to the point where the pep was barely warm. I was pretty disappointed, especially since it was slow, but the counter people were really nice so they definitely have that going for them. So if I seem disappointed, why the 4 stars? Well, I ordered a delivery pie a few days earlier. Garlic and pep. Yeah this place isn't messing around with their pizzas, it'd be 5 stars and maybe the second best pie I've had in town so far if it wasn't for the experience with the slices. Maybe give this place a pass for a quick lunch (although their ala carte pepperoni and other rolls have me thinking I might give them another shot, they looked really good) and stick to ordering the whole pie. Or, do what I should have and order your slice well done.
Honestly can't believe I haven't rebooted here before! O.P. As every local calls it I know, is one of my favorite pizza places in the area. The service is great, delivery is faster than others in the area with same or less desirable pizza. Sauce is actually good and does not taste canned. Missing the desserts from next door. Love that you can get them still but last time I got the tiramisu (traveled from Putnam on a craving) out had been frozen and did not thaw in time to not notice. All in all, it's where I get my pizza when in that part of Westchester.
I absolutely love the chicken francese here, its the best I have ever had. The chicken parm is also really good, best in the area as far as I know. The service is good and the waitstaff are friendly. The only issues I have is with the owner due to his bad attitude and that the soft drinks in the restaurant is all bottled so no free refills. The pizza is also really good here with your normal pizzeria variety. I have been coming here since I was 10 years old and still eat here.
Decent pizza with limited menu. Take out food. Prior to Covid, eat in restaurant with great full menu and coffee dessert separate entrance. Has great potential but not being used.
The pizza is super tasty and have excellent garlic knots but...hope your not hungry when you order take out. Strike 2 with their cold pies! Warning...preheat your oven before ordering your take out!
Phone guy, you need to seriously adjust your attitude. This may be news to you, but every Friday is going to be high volume, so get used to it. Stop cutting your clients off, and listen. We don't have to support our home town- there are lots of choices. Tasty pizza is important but so is service.
I am new to the neighborhood, so I am exploring my eating options. Pizza is pretty good, thin and crispy so you can slam slice after slice. I don't have a huge appetite, I normally eat 2 slices but here I can eat 3-5. I always get plain (cheese) and pepperoni. The pizza margarita was disappointing. I heard the eggplant pizza was good, but I haven't tried it myself. Chicken parm sandwich for 7.80 was not so good, despite decent bread and cheese, the chicken serving was pretty small (about half a breast) and had an unexpected texture like a cooked scallop (that's the best I can compare it to), so I would avoid that. Mixed green salad with chicken, bacon, eggs, and real oil & vinegar dressing was tasty, but someone else purchased it for me, so not sure the price. Nice staff, good selection of sodas, etc. The menu above the pizza station looks like it's just pizzas, so ask if you want something else like a sandwich. They have tables to eat in quickly, and they also have a section that looks like a sit-down restaurant. All in all, I'll get pizza and salad here, probably nothing else. There is a gelateria attached but I haven't been yet. Maybe I will in the summer. I'd like to rate 3.5 but Google only lets me rate whole numbers.
TL;DR: Their food is just mediocre, their customer service is terrible. My family and I have spent hundreds of dollars here over the past few months (my kitchen is being renovated right now). Yesterday, for my husband's birthday we ordered from here. I placed the order online and ordered myself a sandwich that was clearly described on the website. When the order arrived, I got a totally different sandwich. I called and explained this and the guy told me "to be honest, I don't even look at the website." So, they are ok with taking people's money from the website, but don't take any responsibility for it's accuracy? He told me he could send me the sandwich I wanted (ordered), but he didn't want to "take a loss" (i.e. I would have to pay for a new sandwich). Well, he's taking a loss anyway, my family and I will not be ordering from here again. There are plenty of other pizzerias in Ossining.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered a prosciutto pizza expecting what any reasonable customer would expect — a properly prepared prosciutto pizza made with fresh mozzarella and typically complemented with ingredients like arugula or tomatoes. Instead, I received a dry, basic cheese pizza with a few random pieces of prosciutto baked on top. To make matters worse, this “prosciutto pizza” is not even listed on their menu. It genuinely felt like they simply took a plain cheese pizza and added prosciutto on top without any real thought or care put into it. There was no balance of flavors and no effort to create an actual specialty pizza. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, there was zero concern or willingness to resolve the issue. I was simply told, “That’s how we make it.” No apology. No attempt to fix it. Nothing. Customer service matters just as much as food quality, and unfortunately, this experience fell short on both. I will not be ordering again.
Terrible. Food quality poor z Overly greasy and the plains slices essentially taste like nothing. The people behind the counter also had a nasty attitude for reasons I am unsure of. This establishment was excellent prior to the pandemic( 2020 and earlier). Do yourself a favor and go to capri where you will experience top notch customer service and proper tasting pizza. I would not recommend to anyone.
Walk into this so called “ landmark” ossining pizza and I couldn’t even explain the rudeness I received from the older gentleman in front . I ask them can we have a table for 2 and proceeds to tell me that we aren’t serving anything besides pizza . So I proceeded to ask can we sit and have pizza inside and he tells me no only take out then just walks away. Totally understand people have bad days but this is the last straw walking into this place and the whole staff is rude! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place!
