Tip: Avoid the long drive-thru line by parking and walking in to order. It's much faster, often under 20 minutes, and you can enjoy the music while you wait.

Another Great Chicken Restaurant…. This place is great for dining inside or outside, it can accommodate large groups, couples, and double daters… It’s always a good choice to eat here, or a great alternative from eating at Chick-fil-A or at Burnin’ Mouth.
Food was excellent and plentiful. Service was quick, in and out at rush hour in 5 minutes (walk in, as it was first visit). The order board was a bit buggy but persistence pays off.
Absolutely coming back. The food was on point. Fresh, hot and ready within just a few mins. This was our first visit and we got the box with chicken, cole slaw, bread, cane's sauce and fries. Everything was so delicious.
I love this place. It’s open till late night. Always buzzing with life and costumers. The atmosphere and vibe is amazing. I definitely recommend it. The food is clean and delicious. (I don’t like fried food but honestly this one is very good and the only fried chicken I eat) 🫶🏻👍🏻🩵
The only thing I hate about this restaurant is the fact that the nearest location is about 40 miles from where I live! Come on Cane's! We need a location in Santa Barbara! Make it happen! 😂 Other than that, this place always delivers. Plenty of parking, dining, quick and friendly service and clean bathrooms! Plus, it's located in a shopping center next to the 101 freeway with plenty of stores around and a gas station if you need it.
My first time at canes today. The food came out so fast. I was so surprised. The atmosphere is lively and lots of family and friends eating here. Lots of tables that are made for groups of people as well as single bar stool type tables. If you need to use the bathroom, you need to enter a code you get from the employees.
Raising Cane's is a chicken tender spot in the heart of Oxnard placed in The Rose shopping center. If you like chicken, this place is definitely worth trying out. The chicken is moist on the inside, yet still has a nice Crispy breading on the outside. The fries are crinkle cut, which tends to be some of my favorite variety of fry bar none. The Texas toast is superb. Warm, toasted, with a nice pillowy soft center. The sauce has a certain taste to it. Not too spicy, nor tangy. Yet you can't help but use up every drop. In the beginning, this new location was hard to just get a place to sit. Time has worn on, and it's not nearly as packed as in its inception. You still should be careful coming late at night or weekends, you still may get quite the crowd since they are open so late. In my humble opinion, di yourself a favor, skip the cole slaw. Order another slice of toast, and probably order more sauce too. You won't regret that decision.
Heard so much about this place. The chicken tasted good but I was expecting it to be full of flavor and crispy. Yes there sauce were delicious but overall thought it was overpriced. My kid and I talked it over and we prefer the roastisere whole chicken at Sprouts and wingstop.
To me this is like the Chipotle of chicken tenders; decent quality but extremely bland. Fortunately their take on chicken sauce was interesting in a way I enjoyed. I can't imagine eating this chicken dry. I'm glad I went to satisfy my own curiosity but I would not go out of way to return. Special shout out to the Texas toast. No clue why bread is served with chicken tenders, but it was the best tasting part of the meal.
The food was was just meh. Nicely breaded chicken tenders, fries were nothing special, Texas toast was just warm limp bread. Soda was flat, special sauce was mayonnaise with some sort of flavor. The place was really busy though so maybe I just didn't order the right thing.
Stopped at the Oxnard Raising Canes and was very disappointed in the quality of the food. I got the chicken. Sandwich with an extra cane sauce on the side, which I didn't receive. When I went to counter to ask for it, I was questioned as if the sauce was a complete meal with a drink. They looked it up and saw that I in fact did order it. My sandwich lacked and was just substances, I was not blown away at all. Next time?
Theres this one worker that is always SO rude every time I come to visit, her name is Angela or Angelina I believe. I usually come late nights after my shift hoping to quickly get some food in the drive through, nice service, and be on my way home. By the time I’m pulling away she manages to make me feel like I’m not welcome. She rushes taking an order and gets annoyed when I ask to upgrade my drink to a large, for an extra sauce she didn’t hear me say, etc. Overall rude and reoccurring. I can’t imagine how she acts with others if this is how she treats me alone. I don’t mean to put her on blast but this is nothing new and seems to me that the managers are okay with this type of behavior.
Canes used to be quite good and relatively worth it considering they're selling you unseasoned chicken with well seasoned sauce. But lately the chicken pieces are comically small and they always have cartilage in them. AND they raised the prices. No babes, I'll be at Popeyes.
Tonight 3/7 at 9:50 PM. When I arrived at the drive-through, a worker named Clarissa took my order. My order was a bit complicated because I asked to remove and add a few items. She repeated the first part of the order correctly, but when I began explaining the second part, she rushed me and interrupted me before I finished. I politely asked her if she could repeat my order back to me to make sure it was correct. She responded “no” and instead asked for the name for the order. I again asked if she could please repeat the order, and she again refused and continued asking for my name. I told her that I would wait until my order was repeated back to me to confirm it was correct. After about 45 seconds, another employee came on the speaker and repeated the order extremely fast, which made it confusing to follow. After waiting behind three cars, I was finally able to move forward and pay. I found the interaction very disrespectful and rude. I have been coming to this location since the day it opened and have never had an experience like this before. I normally receive great service, which is why this situation was so disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve customer service at the drive-through in the future.
If you love asking for hot sauce and not getting any this is the place for you!!! Warm cole slaw? Untoasted toast? They got it! Over charging for a tiny container extra sauce is their method of operation so you know the whole thing is a sham.
I've never given canes anything butter five until now. First off, their parking is reserved for employees, don't think i've ever seen this before. They have a kios for you to order from, typical in california fast food, I get it, but I do not like them. And this location locks their restrooms. The canes that i've been to do not. There are a lot of food options in this complex. I will skip caines next time.
