🇮🇹✨ A truly authentic Italian experience From the very first bite, La Bella Vita makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Italy. The food is outstanding — authentic flavors, perfectly balanced sauces, and pasta cooked exactly the way it should be. Everything tastes fresh, well-crafted, and full of tradition. It’s not just a meal, it’s a real Italian dining experience. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and professional. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy great food. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back.
service was amazing. food was amazing. hole in the wall place. loveddddd it. worth it for sure. had the burrata and the gnocchi. amazinggggg. <3
Spent my birthday dinner at La Bella Vita. It was a perfect experience. Food was very filling. The workers were very attentive and kind.
We ate dinner here in early November - the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Our waiter was very gracious and attentive. I had the pasta with clams - it was so good. We also had the calamari as an appetizer which was also delicious. I felt the prices were reasonable and I would highly recommend La Bella Vita to anyone looking for a great dinner in Little Italy. Godere!
What a great and authentic italian restaurante in little italy. Fantastic pricing, service and food. They even gave us dessert on the house! Making this place a new favorite spot on our trips to nyc
My fiancé and I visited La Bella Vita for a romantic dinner, and it truly exceeded our expectations. I ordered the penne Alfredo, which was absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and perfectly prepared. The ambiance was wonderfully romantic, making it an ideal spot for a date night. The service was also fantastic from start to finish. We loved our experience and definitely can’t wait to go back!
Went during San Gennaro Festival in September. We got Gnocchi Napoletana and Chicken Parmigiano. We each enjoyed the dishes we chose. Large portions. I had leftover Gnocchi I brought back to the hotel. It is pricey, both food and drinks, but we wanted the experience of a sit-down restaurant in Little Italy. They automatically charge gratuity on the bill. Not sure if it was just during the busy festival or if they always do. Overall, we enjoyed it for a one-time experience.
I went today to celebrate my bday, everything overall my expectations! The food was amazing (I ordered spaghetti carbonara) and my husband chicken Marsala, and we ordered beef carpaccio, DELICIOUS, also the servers and hostess are amazing, they gave me tiramisu for my bday, I highly recommend this place
This restaurant serves truly authentic Italian cuisine, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I visited with my wife and a friend, and we were all impressed. The service was exceptional, with staff attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food. I had the tiramisu and pistachio ice cream, both of which were absolutely delicious and a perfect way to end the meal. The portions were generous—so much so that none of us could finish everything. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I’ll definitely be returning! Highly recommended for anyone who loves great Italian food.
Absolutely delightful place to eat. I was there with a group of 7. We made reservations, but likely isn't needed for groups of 3-4. While we were there the street out front was closed. Not sure if this is a regular thing, but it made dinner that much better. Service was a bit slow. They were definitely busy but it did take 20-25 minutes to get our meal. Additionally (2) of the side dish plates were a little dirty. So that was what stopped the full 5 star rating. Would definitely go again.
The restaurant was okay, I did not hate it but I did not find it to be special but the food was fairly good. I went for my anniversary. However, the rose was great and calamari. I was extremely disappointed in the mussels. I paid $16 for empty shells in white wine sauce literally. As for the chicken parm - 10/10 no complaints . The bolognese pasta was an 8/10 I didn’t find it to be special but it was good. The bill was $175 and I was not sure why. I was not even sure why I was even charged a convenience fee , they should have consulted prior to adding fees. I didn’t mind the gratuity I was just confused of the overall price however, the service was a 10/10 for me.
The ingredients were super low quality. If this restaurant will be in Italy it will be empty. The staff is trying to make their best. The olive oil they are serving is so low quality, I would suggest to change the supplier and bring some good quality olive oil from Italy. The food we were eating was also not delicious. The pasta was al dente which was a good thing, but the food was not prepared by the heart. I liked wine. It’s typical place for average tourists. Europeans knowing Italian cuisine would skip this place. We were expecting much more.
Family oriented Italian restaurant. The food was delicious but the service from my male server needed to be much better. While ordering, he made me feel uncomfortable by his comments on one of my request for one of the six dishes that I ordered for me and my family. Basically I asked if the extra charge for one of my dishes could be waived since I was ordering six different dinner dishes. He stated that it was a restaurant and that only supermarket gives discounts. Right after that I noticed that my utensils were dirty. The hostess was really nice and helpful when seen us coming in from the rain. My each of my family members stated that they liked the food. I liked it too, but due to they way the waitress managed to served us, did not make my experience an excellent one. I will not return.
I’m honestly so DISGUSTED. My family and I stopped by after visiting SuitSupply because we were really hungry and decided to grab a bite at La Bella Vita. Unfortunately, the food was awful. We ordered a pepperoni pizza — it was soggy and wet. We also tried the Bella Vita Parma, and the sausage was PUTRID. There was a strong, ROTTEN smell that we could literally sense before even taking a bite. The meat on the pizza was cold and smelled bad as well. The experience left me feeling SICK and uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Do yourself a favor — avoid this place DO NOT GOOOOOOO😷🤢🥴🤮
I had a disappointing experience here last night. I ordered a small salad listed at $15 and asked to add salmon. They added it but then charged me $45 for the dish, which felt extremely unreasonable. On top of that, there was a “convenience fee,” an automatic 18% tip, and then an expectation for an additional tip on top. The layering of charges felt excessive and not transparent. The food itself didn’t make up for it either. The bread served was stale, which was surprising for a restaurant at this price point. Overall, the lack of clarity in pricing and the quality of the food left me feeling let down. I hope they improve both transparency and consistency going forward.
I was in the city with my girlfriend for the day so we made an 8pm reservation. When we arrived the place was kinda hectic and the host was setting up the table. He walked us to the table then said it wasn’t ready and brought us back to the crowded entrance Once we got seated the waiter was inattentive and didn’t come back to the table much he brought us water and we wanted to order drinks but he didn’t come back until after we ate the appetizers. I noticed the host said they had a table of 13 ready so he seemed more focused on setting them up. Then i got my lobster raviolis and they tasted like they were starting to spoil with a strong fishy taste. I didn’t wanna make a scene or complain so we asked for the check and left. I noticed the waiter added his own tip for a table of 2 which is absurd 18% with a random convenience fee of 3%. Also the table of 13 was sat directly next to us without enough room so me and one member from their party were sitting pushed up against each other. When i paid the check the waiter attempted to collect another tip as if i didn’t notice he already included it. There’s so many great restaurants in little italy don’t waste your business here.
The bread wasn’t fresh, i told the waitress and he just said OK. I asked for the Chicken Florentina with vegetables and for me the best of the plate were the vegetables (broccoli, carrots and asparagus) the chicken was so white not well cooked and seasoned (at home I can do it better for sure) and my wife ordered Milanese with spaghetti and the sauce was good but not the pasta (was so dissatisfied) Next time I will go to another restaurant in Little Italy but definitely I won’t come back and don’t recommend for the price you can eat and drink 2 wines in another place
