Love this place! Their broccoli beef and cream cheese wontons are good, portion sizes are big (even more so if you dine in), and the employees are very nice! Would definitely recommend

I LOVE the pot stickers here. They make them fresh. They're so much better than most places. The family that runs the place is very friendly. They always seem happy to see me and my family.

The lunch specials are awesome, with most items under $10. The food is 5-star delicious, portions are more than adequate, and you get soup, entree with rice, served with an egg roll and fried wonton. Worth the drive to Magalia. 100% better than Chin Dynasty.

Food is good, price is right, and portions are plenty. Great sit down environment and easy to order to-go, with a friendly and accommodating staff. If only they had a burger on their menu, I'd never eat elsewhere.

Surprisingly good food for rural location. Ingredients are fresh, service is friendly and fast (except for the occaisional rush when it might be an hour + but they are good at warning). I recommend the sesame beef, general chicken, lemon chicken, wor won ton soup, hot n sour soup. Other dishes are great too but those are my favorites.

This is a great place to take the family. The food is delicious with good sized portions at a great price! The service is above and beyond, we are a family of eight with at least 11 dishes ordered. Our soup was brought out in minutes and main courses out within 15 minutes. by far my favourite restaurant in magalia.

Even 4 years later businesses are closing due to the customer base that was lost due to fire destruction of homes and businesses. The people at Happy Day are good people too.

I ordered three different take out menu items and I was pleased with every dish. The portions were large and the prices were fair. I am so happy I found this little hidden treasure in the hills.

I used to work for the previous owners and still see a lot of my old coworkers there. All great people and have had good experiences as a customer as well as an employee!

Kind of dark inside but not too bad. Great service and the food is always good and taste fresh. Worth the drive. Prices are reasonable.

Slow but good food. The people can be hard to understand but are nice none the less. The food is pretty good. I really enjoyed the prawns and the cream cheese crab turnovers. We call them crab Puffs and we can never order enough of them!

We've eaten here since 2004. Dined in and gotten takeout. Always good, hot food and willing to make adjustments to a dish. Friendly and inviting. The only really good place except the Happy Garden in Chico, not PARADISE.

The good quality of the food though eclipses all else.

It's okay for Chinese food but it's not the best but it is the best up here that we have in our burnt down little town. They do have very friendly staff and since the whole Corona Virus thing I like that they have people order and pick up right outside and not have to go inside. The location is absolutely beautiful too you can't even tell that PG&e burnt our town down from where this restaurant is located. Beautiful pine trees everywhere.

It was kind of bland to me. Service was excellent, I only ordered out so I didn't see the beyond inside the door. I will probable go back only because it's so close to my house. I will order something different than the family B. I changed soup for won ton that was good. Beef broccoli ok. Paper wrapped chicken was over cooked and stuck to the paper. They were helpful and nice about switching food.

I've been going to Happy Day for years. It used to be the best place to on the Ridge to go for Chinese food. Unfortunately the taste of the food has declined. I don't know if change of ownership is the cause, or the recipe, but it's not like it used to be.

They gave me a 45-minute estimated wait time for my dinner I called at 6:15 p.m. I show up at 45 minutes and wait an additional 60 minutes. She told me it's because they're so backed up with Mother's Day I am formed her that I understand however if you tell a customer 45 minutes they plan their dinner needs around that time. Once I see people who ordered after me getting their food I once again question my time. She asked me if I paid I said not yet I haven't been asked to pay yet and then in reply I was told it's because I haven't paid that my food is taking so long. I was so frustrated I just left. Absolutely without a doubt the worst customer service ever. It wasn't until later when a manager of the facility contacted me saying that they'll give me my food for free. 2 hours and 38 minutes after I ordered. The only reason why they get two stars is because somebody there was kind enough to right the wrong

Their food is really good, but every time I call in a Togo order somehow they always loose my order. This is the third time it has happened. I’m not saying do eat there I would just eat in.

Very disatisfied with the food and service. I spoke to the proprietor and they denied anything being wrong with the food. However the food was stale tasting and rock hard. In the end they refunded my money as they threw it toward me and yelled out freeloader you ate the whole thing and now want your money back so everyone nearby could hear them. I promised I will never return or anyone I know. They were good with that they said

Ordered Generals Chicken, hot and sour soup and 4 egg rolls. Got Wonton soup, some other dish, that I didn't order, and 1 egg roll. The dude that answered the phone was so off. Didn't answer phone saying "Happy Day". So dissatisfied. I called them and they said "Sorry"

I have ate here in the past. I will never do it again. I have 4 children when I went inside the server was very rude when I told her that I have a party of 5 she let out an audible sigh. She didn't hide the fact that she seemed to be very upset that we chose her restaurant. I will be sharing this story with everyone I know. FOR THE RECORD EVERYWHERE I HAVE TAKEN MY CHILDREN TO EAT THEY ARE COMMENDED FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR.
