Who doesn't like chicken well this is another of my favorite places to eat delicious food and you can't go wrong with this place nice environment good personnel very clean and most of all their dishes the best.

They forgot a few pieces of chicken gave them a call. Super easy exchange. I got my missing pieces and a free side of my choice.

By far the best el pollo loco in LA county. The food is always fresh. Not old and dry like the one on slauson and vermont. I had the 2 piece leg and thigh with mash potatoes and black beans. The chicken was juicy and marinated all the way down to the bone and the black beans and mashed potatoes where very good.

Great experience, I Placed a big order and staff manage to have it ready on a considerable time. Even though is a busy location Benny was very kind and professional . Makes me want to come back :)

I just went to order my chicken tostada and Maria was all over it. She was very polite and even went as far as to making sure her customers are satisfied throughout the visit.

This pollo loco is usually pretty busy but the service is fast here inside and drive thru whatever condiments u request will always be in your bag there really good with taking orders and making sure u drive away happy without having to worry about getting home just to find out something is missing not here they do a great job and I highly recommend this place

It was today Sunday around 2pm. Ordered 3-piece meal with all thighs, rice and beans. My meal was HOT, delicious and ready to eat. Love the carryout package. Thank you Teamsters & Manager.

My girlfriend & I used a coupon for 2 meals for $10.99 which was a great value. It included 4 pieces of chicken, 2 loco salads, two side dishes, & 2 churros for desert! Adding just 1 drink allowed us to use a 2nd coupon, and we were able to receive a free beef avocado quesadilla for spending at least $11.99 total. The friendly girl helping us recommended the beef & we agree it is very good!

Excellent service by excellent staff. Very nice, courteous, and clean employees.I will be coming back! I just expected to have gotten coeslaw instead of mashed potatos.but not a big deal.

Even though this location is a little further than the one on Cherry & Market, we prefer to come to this one. The employees are friendly and very helpful. Order is always correct, and they provide everything on request like plates and plastic ware. This is our preferred Pollo Loco location.

I love chicken, and El Pollo Loco has been a favorite of mine for years on end. My all time standard order has always been a 2 piece dark meat, beans and coleslaw with flour tortillas. Now I have tried so many other items on the menu, and all have been great, but I always fall back on my old favorite.

Is ok.! Only thing .. I'm kinda disappointed... Here's my reason why.... the chicken now...!. I mean! Whatta heck? ARE the chickens keep getting smaller and smaller....? does that mean that the chicken tastes better or the prices keep getting higher? Don't get me wrong back then it was okay but now these days? I'm confused like I said don't get me wrong but if you guys like it by all means... Enjoy!

My favorite place to go for lunch or dinner. The food is good most of the time. Sometimes, the servers don't get my order completely correct. And the drive-through window attendants are ok most of the time. Some are confused and lost. All said, this is a good place for quick bites at a responsible price.

Came to this establishment and went drive-tru, it took a while but in the end.. It was some of the hottest takeout I've ever had. Soup was still hot, the burrito was very warm. Nothing was really cold but my wifes taco salad but it wasn't really that warm. Perfect!

The wait was over 5 minutes for my order to be delivered but I'm used to that so no worries there. I ordered the chicken and cheese quesadillas. They were tasty but a little dry. I had ordered no sauce so that may be the reason but the chicken was very dry. The clerks at the window took my money quickly and gave me my drink right away. They were friendly too.

To be honest this location is close to my job so I do lunch here a lot. But I have only ordered the double chicken salad bowl. The food is well prepared and always delicious. The wait in line through drive through is not long. I love that. But...never enough chicken in my DOUBLE chicken order. I've complained and they offered chicken on the side but that's an extra four dollars plus tax. So, really that's my only complaint. Other than that, this location is great with plenty of roomy parking for big vehicles which is also a big plus.

A rating restaurant. Plenty of parking space. I order double chicken tostada salad And it came out pretty good. Nothing to complain. No burn chicken 👍and they actually fill it up the tostada💯. It's a drive-thru only🚙🚗. there's also curbside pickup.

Chicken still has the same great flavor, but they are small pieces. Used to get the BRC burrito which was always our favorite, but something is different & smaller too.fries, salsa, etc. is good. Miss how it used to be prepared back in the 90's.

They take to long to give you your food and I have gone at 10 am when there is no traffic rush but I wait 20 minutes to get my food when I'm the only person in the drive thru. The food is good but sometimes they give you less chicken in your food.

They were busy yet quick. The reason for only 3 stars was I saw what look to be the manager (he had a super long braid hanging down his back) place someone's fork on the counter (their forks are not in plastic) then realized what he did and politely tossed it in the bag and called for pick up. #gross

The reason I want to call attention to this is because of the quantity of plastics we have to use for the guacamole sauce, they should open the salsa self serve counter, if the excuse is the pandemic thing, I think they better close the dine in restaurant, I can tell you are not saving money this way and the most important it doesn’t help to reduce the plastic contamination. Other than that everything else was good.

Very slow service lately. Waited in the drive thru line for like 20 minutes. However, the food is good and the service is friendly.

This location appears to be understaffed. Waited 20 minutes for my order and only received because I asked. 3 other people ahead had not yet been served. Dispatching employee looked overwhelmed with so many orders and no help.

Some of the employess here are greatmost times they are not. They act as though they are constantly inebriated and it shows with their quality of work. They act like they can't hear you when you order and then the next moment their rushing you or raising their voice. The manager is worthless she allows the employess to be disrespectful. She seems to care more about wearing tight jeans and switching infront of her male employess. They need to fire most of the people there and bring in a new batch of enthusiastic employees

Service was quick but place was not clean

The chicken seems to always be dry,hard and barely edible (old) the mac and cheese was not to be desired! Definitely not my choice of El Pollo Loco's to eat wich is a shame since I live so close to this location and eat at El Pollo Loco quite a often!

The taste is good, but I think the chicken they sell is too little and it's almost just bones. Honestly I'd prefer to buy a chicken ready to eat in Walmart or some supermarket like Superior Grocers...

Seem to be short of staff... For two day's in a row, I've waited in the drive thru for over 15-20 minutes to order and get my order. I've also noticed from the drive-thru window I see the salad bowls stacked up against a wall uncovered. What's up with that? How can those shell bowls be fresh???

For one the drive thru was a long wait. I finally get to the window to get my food and I asked for cilantro dressing and she told me it was in my salad already. He words were "THE SALAD COME WITH DRESSING IN THE ALREADY" You know..... People choose to work where they want to and if they can't provide good service..... Why are they there???

Food was good but the restaurant was so dirty. Bathroom, dining area all dirty. There was no clean table to eat. We asked 3 times for someone to come clean our table before our order was ready. They finally came when we were halfway done eating and had to move pick up everything and move it out of the way so he could clean. Which we didn't want to have to do and that's why we insisted on getting a table cleaned before we got our food. I'm not sure if they were having a meeting or just on break but there was a large group of employees sitting together in the dining area, they heard me complaining and none of them bothered to at least tell another employee to come clean. Definitely not going back to this one.

Lady in the drive thru was very rude. There was a hair in my food !! This is the second time that happens not sure why I went back after the first time.

This place is always closed when i go. It says they're open at 9am and I've gone between 9-10:10am and they're still closed. It wouldn't cost them anything to just change the time. It's not just me but other people i work with have gone and still closed.

Several years ago, I used to eat there a lot when I lived in the area, but I tried it now and the food was disgusting. Real disappointment. Used to be one of my favorite places to eat.

I visited pollo loco on june 12 2018 and my visit was horrible, the chicken i paid for was small and burnt ,also the cashier mayra that works in the evening hours did not give me my recipe, i requested mostly thighs and the cook just looked at me and laugh i dont recommen any one to go there

First there was no chicken for any kinds of meals. Secondly, the original pollo bowl that I ordered included VERY little chicken, and had many pieces of burnt stuck together rice! Third of all, there was barely even beans in it and was 3/4 filled with JUST rice! Very bad experience.

I just want to say that this place has its ups and downs and trys there best , but there was this one time i got my chicken really bloody gave me diarrhea for a week , i thought thats how they cook it but i looked online how long chicken should cook on grill , it was quickly off the grill and it should be 35 to 40 or a little longer i saw the person who cooked it it wasnt on there that long just five mins on there and it was hard to eat i had to spit it out we left me and my boyfriend .... Never went back.

They messed up my order I said no pico de gallo and I get my tostada salad with pico de gallo no rice and the beans omg they put the pot I guess my tostada was soggy in bottom 😩this has never happen to me

I had ordered my food on the El Pollo Loco app and it said it would be ready by 12:45pm. I was on my 30 min lunch, when I arrived I was told that it would take 15 mins more. After waiting I noticed that others had came in and were waiting also. 1 lady explained how here was suppose to be ready at 1.. She was able to get hers rushed while I was still waiting for my food and it was now 1:04. They gave other customers extra items for their time while I wasn't even offered. This was my first and last time at this place.

Foods great quality! I’m in love with the Chicken-Avocado-Burrito.. but the store is said to open at 9:00AM , had to wait an extra thirty to forty minutes for it to open ! not the best experience.. ! And Had to wait extra for food to be ready ..🤦🏻‍♀️

I placed an order inside trying to avoid the crazy line at drive through and little did i know i was in for a big one. Everyone that entered after me was served first, i stood there about half an hour before i served, my food was poorly prepared and cold. Definitely not returning to this location

This is the closest pollo loco to our house , so this is our go to but lately they’ve disappointed. The drive thru is not Thorough at all with orders . They didn’t bother to put silverware , dressing or napkins and when we got home the order was a mess . Not recommending drive thru or this place actually . Give your money to another business .

This place is THE WORST been here multiple times !! It Literally Is Less than 5 minutes from my house but rather drive further than come here! I always ask for a tostada bowl or a platter and they fill it up with lettuce and only give you a few beans and rice ... and service is “ok”

The worst customer service and most careless employees, they’ll get your order wrong/take long as hell and not care whatsoever. They have terrible attitudes, they need to quit expeditiously and pursue a different career field because customer service is clearly not their niche.

I became sick last night after eating the salsa that was bad, old, sour or whatever. I ordered a shrimp tostada, and 2 piece breast with sides. While eating the tostada I was also eating the salsa. I could not tell it was sour at that time. When eating the wing and breast I put salsa on my floured tortia. That is when I tasted the salsa and how bad it really was to be eating it. But, I had already digested the salsa with the tostada, which camouflaged the bad taste it was awful. I woke up about 4:00am feeling nauseous. I went to throw up, nothing would come up. Now, mind you, my stomach is still hurting. Try to use the commode, it helped my stomach some. I drank some ice water and laid down. Eventually, I went back to sleep.

Who ever is taking orders on drive-thru has no customer service experience at all, always rushing you, and even kind of judging your order... Boy if you're not happy, look for another job

Horrible customer service. Very slow team. They don't know how to put customer first. The salsa bar is messy and missing containers for carryout. When asked for lids they asked why I needed them. Practically threw them at me.

I have been trying to eat healthy. Ive been here for the last 3 days. Ive been in the drive thru for a min of 30 mins each time. Service is so slow. They pour my drink when I order. By the time I get it the ice is melted. I asked for another drink they looked at me like I was crazy

Horrible service We ordered ahead so we could simply pick it up. We received the notification that our food was ready living a short drive from there we show up to see a large amount of cars in the drive-thru also noticing a sign that said only drive-thru we waited in line for more then 30 minutes and lines would not move. I called the restaurant so they could give me my order, employee who answered was rude telling me that they are busy Iwhen on to explain that I been waiting for more then 30 minutes and that my food is sitting on the counter.he simply reply wait in line that has not moved. Asked to speak with the manager. After all that I got my food cold and really unappealing

Worse El Polo Loco that I've ate at! I travel due to my job, therefore, I've ate at MANY El Polo Loco Restaurants. This location was by far the worse! I ordered a 🥗 salad minus the beans and avocado. They gave me the "throw away" pieces that's normally tossed in the trash! I'll never eat at this location again. Wasn't worth my money or time.

I came in to make a to go order and Jesus the manager told me to give him a a moment, then he walked away and told me I will take care of you after a call. I waited 5 min til someone took my order. The manager then walked out and told me what was I waiting for and told my daughter to settle down. This is so disrespectful in many ways. After I told manager that he had me waiting, he then decided to make my order and take long by walking back and forth into office. They had 5 ppl working plus. Jesus the manager. This happened May 22,2024.

We ordered a family meal and it was so gross..the rice was not fresh tasting it tasted like it came straight out of the box with no flavor I couldn't even take more than a few bites even with the pico de gallo on it...the chicken was so dry the skin was so stuck on the dry meat we couldn't even get a full juicy piece. The Mac n cheese was too tender and too much cheese sauce..not edible at all. Will be staying away from this place.

Don’t come here store is open and they won’t serve you they claim it’s only online orders but restaurant hours are posted which makes no sense not a single time have I came here and been served right that’s why I never come here and if you order online to pick they close the restaurant door so they don’t have to help you this is literally the worst pollo loco I have been too and I only go to it because it’s in my city but I prefer to drive 15 min out of the way to not deal with who ever is running this place. These people are the worst, this is not an overall review, it’s based on 7/10 visits. To begin they make their own closing schedule don’t even abide by what they have on display, and to get rid of clients they always say they are out of chicken 50 minutes prior to closing. Secondly it’s always a gamble ordering through the drive thru, I have gotten dry, burnt chicken plenty of times. Enough times for me to be here writing this review, so enough said. Maybe hire personnel that enjoy and take pride in their job and aren’t there just to make a quick buck. After all their hard earned money is 100% equivalent to the customer, since we also work hard for our money and choose to spend it here, we also expect the same respect. I hope this reaches out to anyone who can make any positive changes. Thank you and have a good evening.
