Drove to this place from Rialto took over an hour to get there but Sooo worth it 😋. We had cheese burgers, hot dogs and shakes so delicious. Best hamburgers ever had. Will be driving again.

I was in Pasadena for the flea market and stopped for lunch at the Shake Shack Pasadena to see what the buzz was about. I was definitely pleased with my meal. I had the shack cheeseburger and crinkle fries. The patty was just the right thickness, cooked to perfection and the bread was fresh and delicious. Each bite seemed to melt in my mouth. The crinkle Fries were just the right crispiness and salt. I opted for iced tea but I should have had a shake instead! Forgot to take pictures this time but will be back again for sure.

I've been to this shake shack only twice and every time the attitudes of the employees is always so pleasant. Great customer service at a time when I feel that lacking at most places. I never leave review. That's how good this place is.

Ordered curbside pickup for dinner tonight. Very busy on a Monday evening and the parking lot was full (with all curbside spots already occupied). Even so, the server brought my order out to the car right upon arrival. I ordered a Shake Stack (Angus hamburger patty stacked with ‘Shroom patty on potato bun) was hot and tasty. Side of fries also freshly fried, crispy and properly salted. I can see why this location is busy!

Excellent location, near me heart of Old Town Pasadena. Heading east, there isn't another Shake Shack until Rancho Cucamonga, some 40 miles away.

Honestly not worth the price for the amount of food but that's just my opinion. The food was great, don't get me wrong.. I was just blown away by the price for a tiny sandwich.

Friendly staff, clean environment, efficient service, nice ambiance. All three Staff i interacted with were friendly, the cashier gave me a thoughtful compliment, answered my questions, provided information about the bathroom code and condiment area unprompted, and checked in on my experience while keeping the front of house clean. The whole place was very clean and stocked, including the restroom. The staff member who brought me my hotdogs asked if I wanted anything else and quickly grabbed a side of onion for me when I realized I wanted onion as well. I have not experienced such excellent service post-pandemic. Now I want to come back with friends, as it is a clean, fast, and friendly location. There is a wheelchair ramp along Arroyo, pull away seating indoors, bathrooms with handle bars and a urinal in the all-gender one, i think the sink has a cabinet and the hand drying options are for standing height. I did not see automatic doors.

First time, nice location. Friendly staff. Great taste. I had the Smoke Shack, Spicy fries, and chocolate milk shake. Probably best to order ahead. Parking is tight and can fill up quickly. I recommend.

It had kind of a fast food feel to it but the food was anything but from the gourmet hamburger to the best French fry I have ever had and the milkshake was something out of the clouds of heaven.

The crispy chicken quite juicy with a little bit spicy makes the taste so good. The French fries can be more would be better.

Everything was good, but they were out of a lot of things that day. When I went it was raining so it was cold but we had to sit outside because of our dog. Thank god they allowed dogs outside. Outdoor dining had heaters above, so it was very pleasant. Honestly, we liked Shake Shack more than In and Out, but price wise In and Out is more friendlier.

The staff are very friendly no matter how busy they may be. The food is high quality, tasty, and consistent. Surprisingly, there’s also many offers on their app quite often, which makes the experience even better.

If you're looking for a burger, or chicken sandwich, with fries and a cool refreshing Lemonade or shake, this is a great go to. And it's my boys' favorite go to in that exact situation. Check their app for deals, or get on their mailing list, because their promos can be good, and are VERY welcome, because the menu isn't cheap. But it's not too exorbitant either. Enjoy!

Gourmet burgers in a fast-food format. The burgers, fries and hotdogs are always high quality. Not the best but very, very good! This particular Shake Shack location is a parking nightmare. I suggest you use the parking lot across the street.

Tasty burgers! Fresh ingredients with a perfectly cooked patty that is just the right thickness! The crinkle cut fries are also delicious. We were able to try the fries with truffle sauce on our last visit! The shakes and frozen custards are also very well executed! This location would benefit from a bit more indoor seating but the patio seating did have some heaters. I wish the Shake Shack franchises still carried concretes! If you are craving a burger, fries, and milkshake you really can't go wrong with Shake Shack!

Solid Shake Shack location. Ample parking, consistent taste and quality from all the other SS spots I’ve tried, nice service staff, and clean interior. My only feedback to the company is to add the options of “well done fries” and “light ice” to your kiosks. I always have to order up front because your self serve POS doesn’t have these options!

Leonardo was awesome! He was very courteous and took just a little bit of extra time to help with out coupons and and explain items on the menu. This place has good vibes.

The staff was so kind, which I really appreciated, and the food was packaged so beautifully for takeout! It’s definitely a different experience from getting delivery! As a Korean, it was really interesting to see the new Korean-style seasonal menu items.

The food was excellent, as always. But the star of our visit was Leonardo! He took a little extra time to help us order and make sure everything was perfect. Heeven came to our table multiple times to make sure we were happy. Go give Leonardo some love, y'all!

We have been here a ridiculous amount of times on our way into or out of LA, and on the good side, it's yummy Shake Shack food and a convenient location on the drive, but on the downside, it's a bit cramped like the much busier DT LA ones. There's parking, but the lot is small and tight, and there's usually *almost* enough open seats. The service and the food are as great as any other location though.

Had a great experience at this Shake Shack location! The service was fast - didn’t have to wait long at all for my order. What really stood out was how clean everything was - both the restaurant itself and the staff looked spotless and well-maintained. Parking can be a bit tight, but it’s not a dealbreaker since you can easily find spots down the street if the main lot is full. The outdoor seating area is fantastic with plenty of tables, perfect for enjoying your meal outside. I also appreciated that the music volume was just right - loud enough to create a nice atmosphere but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation. Overall, this location hits all the marks for a quality fast-casual experience. Clean, efficient, and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Loved it all! The friendly cashier, Ray, to the incredibly delicious food. The char broiled flavor of the meat is like no other. We had the avocado bacon cheese burger which was delicious!!!! I ordered mine without the sauce, I don’t care for any mayonnaise or mayo based products. We had fries and chocolate shake which were full of flavor. Thank you and we’ll be back again. This place is crowded on the weekend night. Service is pretty good, and refills are very fast as well. The cheese sauce is very special that makes the burger and hot dogs even better. The patty is delicious within the burger. Definitely recommend bacon cheese fries and Smoke Classic BBQ Burgers. And of course I will come back here!

Convenient location and we found a spot in the little parking lot! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was yummy and piping hot! The fries were really good and fresh (hot as well). We had great service where one of the employees came out and asked if we needed anything and went to get us ketchup! We really appreciated it and felt it was great service, like a restaurant :0) The outside seating was perfect at the time we went (10amish) and great breezy weather!!

There's a nice patio area to eat outside and their mobile app works well for ordering ahead with a decent size parking lot outside.

Never really understood the hype around Shake Shack. It’s an In-n-Out level burger at Five Guys level prices. Of course it tastes good cause it’s jacked up fast food, but just seems cheap and overpriced.

For the first time visit. I have bacon fries with cheese. Excellent. Appearance of mushroom burger. Excellent. My one star is the buger lacked seasoning.

First visit. It was delicious. I placed the order through the app, for pickup, and it was easy. Except that I stood to the side waiting for the text/email that never came through, so by the time I opened the app, my food had been sitting there a few minutes and my fries were not hot. Still tasted great.

Sad they have certrain items off the menu but they accommodated me nicely with altering my chicken sammich. Was a shroom burger but I switched it with the chicken patty, cheese and bacon. One of those cheat days

Outdoor seating is nice. Covid friendly. New cup when you need a refill. I got the special "limited time only" chicken, avocado, bacon sandwich. Got a side of the crinkle fries, they were yummy!! My boyfriend got chicken bites. We each had a soda. Food was excellent. Try the herb mayonaise. I gave it 4 stars because prices are too high for a semi fast food place where you order at the counter. Our bill was $30. Chicken sandwich, chicken bites (6 of them-small), 1 order of fries and 2 regular sodas. That's a bit much. Probably won't be able to return for that reason.

I literaly dream about their cheese fries. I love thats its like a nacho cheese *homer drool * Burgers are decent but since we've been doing togo because of covid, the buns do get a little soggy and i just wish they toasted the buns a little more. I usually get the chicken sandwich and its always juicy and delicious. I tried theyre new winter citrusade 50/50, which is key lime and blood orange. It was very tart to me, and i enjoyed it. Could have been a little more sweeter but thats just for me. Decent burger spot, can be pricy but good quality. also i love that there is a window on the side where the parking lot is, to pick up your online order. You don't have to wait in the main line or go inside or be around very many people. It's very convenient during this pandemic. Everyone thats helped handed me my order has been friendly and nice!

I finally tried Shake Shack after years of rave reviews from friends. Now I definitely get the hype! They had pretty intuitive self-ordering machines with huge pictures. We ordered classic single burger, avocado bacon burger, bacon jam burger, and spicy fries. I added pickle for the burgers and Shack sauce on the side. All tasted awesome. The fries were crisp and hot, the little chili powder elevated the experience even more. The bacon jam burger were a bit strong in the flavor and not my favorite, still good burger. The avocado burger came packed with avocado, and the bacon crisp added an extra layer of flavor. But my favorite is definitely the classic. Sometimes less is more. The patty were well seasoned and rich, contrasted with the veggies, the cloud soft brioche bun, all brought together with the sauce. Since the bun is so soft and the burger is on a smaller side, I would order the classic double next time. It is definitely on the pricey side. For comparison, it's twice as expensive as In and Out, and Habit burgers give you more food per dollar. It is definitely worth the experience for my budget once every few months.

Not a whole lot of food for the price. Soda was ok, but only 6 onion rings and the bacon avocado burger tasted ok, but really small for the price. Especially when you have to order off the screen.

My friends and I like coming here because it’s just around the corner from CoreTCG card shop. After an event we just walk here and grab a bite to eat. I think the burgers are really good. My usuals are the shack burger or smoke shack. They are a bit on the smaller side and are bit on the pricier side as well but the taste is there. My brother sometimes orders 2 burgers to fill him up but he’s okay with it because he likes the taste too. They have outer and indoor seating. The times we have gone it hasn’t been too packed so we’ve always found seating. They also have parking available but we usually just end up parking around the street. I know a lot of people like comparing it to in n out but I think it’s more comparable to a burger from 5 guys.

Traditional Shake Shack Style like what in New York City. Almost the closest one in East Great LA area. However, the waiting after ordering is too long to be true. I went there at 9pm on holiday night, one hour before the general closing. There are around 5 customers but all waiting for their food. What I ordered is the special limited white truffle hamburgers and fries. AND I HAD TO Wait FOR 15 minutes until my food came out. It is truly unacceptable. The fried waffle in hamburger taste good also with the sauce companies for fries. The fans are turning on in the cold winter night for outdoor dinning...

Classic shake shack experience! Plenty of outdoor seating. Kid and dog friendly. Counter service was a bit weak. The cashier seemed unaware or ignored our presence for about 3 min until a cleaning team member mentioned to them. They then proceeded to not listen to our order and asked questions (to go vs for here) multiple times despite us stating the information in our initial order. That being said, the team member monitoring the outdoor area was great; friendly, kind, and attentive. Food was solid. And the spot seemed popular. Some loud street noise, but a given considering it is off Arroyo. Small parking lot and some residential parking east of the location.

It's great to have this chain in the west coast. Compared to In-N-Out, I think the burger is less to my palate, but the fries and shake were better. I need something crunchier in my burgers to help the texture, like onions or pickles, and the default ShackBurger didn't have that. I still think it's great, though.

This is a review for only the black truffle burger and truffle fries. I thought they were actually not bad and I really liked the truffle sauce! It was kind of creamy, slightly garlicky, and def added more earthy aroma to the fries. It was bomb. Downside? The burger was a bit small, I just couldn't help but wanting more. Overall, worth trying! Side note: It's a VERY small lot, it's only one way in and one way out.

This is a typical fast food place. Nothing special. There's a nice outdoor patio inside very limited seating. The cashier was professional but not overly friendly. The food is okay. The vegan milkshake is okay. I've had a lot better. The time to get your food is pretty long. There were a lot of people waiting and we were all standing there for quite a while. They have two small areas for parking and no parking spots were available We had to park on the street. The parking lots were also super small so the only way to get back out if you realize there were no spots was to back out and that was very difficult. They have what they advertises a veggie burger but it is borderline and definitely not vegan nor can it be made vegan. Even the bun has animal products in it.

Only had one person ahead of me in line but it was taking awhile, so much so, I was able to notice there was an ordering kiosk. Unfortunately, the special shakes are not on the kiosk menu but now a long line had already formed so I just went without the shake I was planning to order.

The burger was good ,nothing special. I only came here because they advertised non-dairy shakes and when I was ordering the girl said they don't have that anymore. YOU GUYS NEED to adjust this on your menus*online. It's so disappointing to drive somewhere expecting to enjoy something and then it's not available. I wouldn't have chosen to eat HERE had the menu stated " not serving non-dairy shakes/item discontinued". The best part about it is the LOCATION, MY OLD NEIGHBORHOOD 🙌🏽. I spent all day here shopping and enjoying places I used to frequent. Unfortunately I missed out on Pho or Ramen because I opted to go for a non-dairy shakes. Boo. Way to expensive for what it is.

It's kinda crazy that the prices here are so high and the quality continues to go down. Shake Shack has been one of my in favorite burger spots for years, but at this point the quality of the food doesn't match the price.

Burgers were mid, and the portions were small for the price. Ordered 2 shackburgers, fries, and large drinks. Spent close to $40. The service was good but not inviting.. The atmosphere was clean, but to cold.. There was very little decor.

Their shakes and ice cream desserts are really good, the custard ones, its like malted. Their hamburgers and hotdogs are good too. The only thing that baffles me is their service. The staff are ok, but it seems thst they don't have their process nailed down. In every shake shack we went to there was always a problem with our orders. In Burbank, they forgot one of the ice creams we ordered. In Glendale, one of the hotdogs was missing and becausenit took them a while to help us, we cancelled the missing item... wrong move! it took them more time to give us a refund. And then here in Pasadena...one of the shakes was not prepared, actually its a float, the purple cow float or was it the shake we ordered? Well whichever, its the purple one. Good thing i learned from the first two visits we made in their stores. I checked the items before we left and lo and behold, no float/shake. Of course we had to wait a long time to finally get the missing float/shake. I cant lie though, we will still come back because of the shakes and floats and malts and ice cream.. not so much for the burgers or hotdogs there are other specialty burger/hotdog places here in California that is comparable to what they offer. And then their price... its really expensive for a burger place. But as the name indicates, its a shake shack so ill go there for that.

I love shake shack, but I’ve never had this kind of service at one before. They clearly have a lot of employees and are always pretty slammed, but they are not good with quickness and efficiency. Peak times have the slowest waits. Still great food though

Although I've eaten at Shake Shakes in Tennessee, I can't really give a review this one. At the time, I only wanted something to snack on while driving home. Unfortunately, I couldn't force myself to spend $13 on a small fry and a shake (probably medium). Maybe next time. I'd really want one of their burgers.

I didn't realize the closest Shake Shack to me was in Pasadena! And they have a designated parking lot too! I ordered the Shakeburger via the app and appreciate the option to add or remove toppings as desired. I left everything on though and opted out of adding more toppings for a fee. Ordering on the app was quick and easy and pick-up was too. I forget how small Shake Shack's burgers are compared to other places, so I was a little surprised at the size for a burger that was almost $7. I still miss the concretes that Shake Shack used to offer (I assumed it's no more as I only had it once in NYC a decade ago and no locations now serve it)

Ordered the Black Truffle Burger, ShackBurger, SmokeShack, fries, and a vanilla shake. This was a pickup order and I arrived right on time, my order was ready at the pick up shelf. It may be due to the order being a pickup order instead of ordering at the counter that they did not resemble the more flattering images in their advertising, especially at the elevated premiumness of this fast food chain. Across each of these burgers, the angus beef is tasty if a little thinner and flattened to beyond the edges of the bun than I expected. And the choice of using a potato bun was great, creating a different mildly sweet bread to hold the burger together. The Black Truffle Burger does have a nice gruyere cheese and lovely truffle sauce, though just a bit disappointed the crispy sweet onions seemed quite sparse. The ShackBurger was a great take on the classic cheeseburger style. This is a great easy choice however my order was disappointing because the bun came up short, literally. The bottom bun seemed to be missing 30% of it, please see the attached photo, and I hope they do better during any QC of making sure the bottom bun is a complete bottom bun. The SmokeShack burger is great for bacon lovers, this bacon was done well and the chopped cherry peppers were barely spicy, only accentuating how good the rest of this burger was. The crinkle cut style french fries here were definitely something to add to your order, good texture and consistency and a nice light crunch to these. And of course, it’s in their name, the Vanilla Shake was creamy, nice and light to drink, the taste of real vanilla in here is very pleasant and would be a great starter to their line of shakes. Ultimately, I’d like to revisit this location and try a sit-down experience or at least order at the counter. I think it was great but perhaps my order happened to luck out this once. The pricing is a little on the higher end for fast food but based on their use of ingredients, it’s justified. Employees were really kind and quick to get me in and out during their lunch rush. Interior looks really modern and clean, medium foot traffic. There is plenty of parking behind in their parking lot but it might be tighter for bigger cars.

If you like "Luke warm" hamburgers and fries, this is the Shake Shack location for you! We always dine in the restaurant and can not accomplish hot food! Doesn't matter if it's busy...or slow...results are the same! Ice creams tends to be "soupy" too. Like it might have sat for 10 minutes before it gets delivered. Best of luck at this location. We

If your doing takeaway, check your order. They will absolutely give you entirely melted shakes and cold food. Sucks for the price you pay. I know the workers can get swamped with orders, but there should probably be a solution beyond leaving the frozen orders out without refrigeration

OVERRATED The hamburger patty is great, but the wilted lettuce and mushy potato bread buns ruin the burger. Turns it into a soggy mess. And seriously! Potato bread buns? Like dough. No pickles or onions on their burgers either. Good lord! Did a 12 year old come up with this burger. Bunch of Gen-Z and younger millenials with palates of toddlers all bunched around with their faces in their phones waiting to part with $15 minimum for a combo. Dorks! The shakes are okay, but not worth $6. The fries...well at least they're better than the sad excuse for fries at In&Out. The employees are all well trained and professional, but that don't make the burger any better. NEXT!

Don't really get the hype on this place. I've gone several times and it's fine. Like I don't hate the burger but it's not that memorable. But really, my biggest issue is they don't have a tip jar or not allowed to take tips. In this day of covid, we should be able to appreciate those workers who are working during this turbulent times.

My first time trying shake shack. It was alright they said it was better than in n out but let me tell you it’s not better. the burger is so small not that great of flavor. I liked the fries but the shake the toffee chocolate shake was not good. my husband liked it tho. The berry lemonade was not good at all it tasted weird like a cleaning product flavor idk how to describe it. But yeah overall I won’t be coming back I’ll stick to in n out for sure!

This place used to be great. Everything has gotten greasier and less delicious. Recently, I ordered a burger where the meat smelled like it had gone bad. The manager did not seem terribly concerned, but they did make me another burger. I wish it was as good as it used to be, but I don’t want to come back here.

Lackluster food for the price. What are we doing? Honestly have never tried Shakeshack, and never will again. Total letdown.

I've been a frequent almost every other week but I experienced a major faux pas today.... avocado skin included in the burger and caused me to choke. Definitely affected my overall experience. Some one is falling asleep on the job!

I had the worst experience in the world at a fast food restaurant. I’ve come Here for two years now usually good Well, yesterday was pretty bad Little short girl Name started with like an R or something was seen chitchatting while my food took so long and then she had an attitude when I asked her was it almost ready Look like she rolled her eyes So we’ll definitely not be coming back Here if they have employees like that

I really like burgers and for the past few months I've been really excited for Shake Shack to open. For a few weeks I've been running past the location to see if it's open. I was quite happy see it had finally opened yesterday! This evening after the gym, I excitedly went down to Shake Shack and saw a lot of other people were just as excited as me. At this point it was about 7:00 and I was already pretty hungry after my workout. Once we got through the line and ordered and we were told they would text us when our order was ready. They actually texted us with the confirmation of our order which came in at 7:39. We got our seats and a few minutes later, I was checking my phone for the text saying that order was ready. I noticed the couple who were before us in line getting their food and it was 7:46. I expected ours would be out within a few minutes but it was not. By 8:01, 22 minutes after ordering, I was starving starting to feel dizzy and was anxiously waiting for our food. This is partially my fault for coming here on an empty stomach after a workout; partially the fault of the long line, and partially Shake Shack's fault for taking so long with our order. At that point a server came out with somebody else's food who had ordered after so I asked her to check on her order. She came back shortly after saying that they had "forgotten about it" but it would be out soon. I was starting to get delirious and feeling low on blood sugar, so I soon went up to server at the door and asked him "I'm really hungry I just need anything to eat I'm going crazy out here can you bring some fries or something?" He said he'd see what he can do and I went back down to my seat and was watching through the window while he was talking to his coworkers trying to figure out what to do. As I watch through the window, I saw them preparing fries and putting them in bags for other customers, but they weren't able to just take one and bring it to me even though I had been waiting for so long. At 8:07 I couldn't wait any longer and I went inside to ask them myself. At the same time, the manager had come outside to see me so I went back out to talk to him. But he didn't bring any fries! The conversation went something like this: Me: "Please can you bring some fries or something. I'm starving" Him: "Sir, I need you to sit down so that we can talk about this" Me: "It can be anything. I don't care what it is. I'm so hungry. I just need to eat something. Please I'm begging you I just need some food. Whatever you have just bring it and I'll eat anything. I'm about to pass out. Can't you give me any food?" Him: "No!" At this point, I snapped and yelled: "GIVE ME FOOD" He immediately said "That is completely unacceptable. You need to leave" to which I replied that I was still waiting for my food that was already half an hour late and I was delirious from the hunger. He then told me "Go wait in your car". But I don't even have a car. Fortunately my wife was able to stay at Shake Shack and wait for the order at the patio. Meanwhile, I ran over to CVS across the street to get a banana to replenish my blood sugars. When I got back, she had received a refund at 8:12 which was 43 minutes after we placed it. She still didn't have the food. A few minutes later, it did come and we ate it on a nearby sidewalk bench because the manager would not let me back in. Finally having some food in my belly, I was able to see straight and realized I had probably had the worst fast food experience of my life. I shouldn't have tried going to a restaurant during its opening week on an empty stomach, but they should have been able to at least bring me a basket of fries once I had been waiting for a long time. Instead they gave me $35 back before they even gave us any food. I can't eat $35 and I was starving. I didn't care about refund I just needed any food and the manager refused. Given the emotional trauma inflicted by that manager, I don't think I was in the right mental state to review the food

Paid 29$ for a nasty unseasoned burger that they wouldn’t cook the way I wanted, unsalted fries that are greasy and a ok strawberry shake. If your a burger lover stay away from here

Checkin and paid at the register @ 7:25pm sat down planned to dine in and waited. 35minutes in while other got their meal after me. After that,i walked up and ask wheres my meal they took my receipt and said they gave it to another customer by accident and said they'll make another one for me. Didn't apologize or give me a drink or complementary snack for the wait. Proceeded to wait another 5 minutes. They gave me the meal only to find out they forgot the patty, so i asked them where the patty. Waited another 3 minutes. After all that wait and all those mistakes, i only got 1 apology from one person. If i known any better, i should have asked for a full refund of $21.48...for a late burger and fries. Im so angry and stressed out by this ordeal.
