I was passing by on my way to Los Angeles and stopped in this town to have a bite to eat. An unusually clean taqueria restaurant, but for some reason there are few ratings! I am writing a review with pleasure - I have nothing to complain about! I liked the tacos too - I love "street" tacos, but I never risk it on the street. The size may be standard, maybe a little smaller - very tasty! I liked the chips so much that I took some to go! I would have taken everything, but you have to have a conscience))) Super! The sauces are excellent, very tasty, but the gacamole is a bit thin. They served the tacos with them and I took as much as I wanted along with the chips. The guy at the checkout is a great guy, he knows how to treat customers and elders with respect! Give him a bonus, I had no money left for a tip. In general, these guys deserve all 5🌟
Absolutely a great spot if you are needing a lunch or night of easy Mexican food. They have your classics, but this is what we ordered: Assorted tacos (al pastor and carne asada): 4.5/5 -Delicious, off the grill taste, you can taste the quality of the meat rather than other places where meat just sits until served. Quesadilla w/ carnitas: 5/5 -This was rock solid and the family loved it Super Burrito w/ carne: 4.5/5 -Can't go wrong, very good. Again all ingredients seemed fresh especially the carne. Pretty close to the quality at some San Diego mex or mission style burrito top spots up north, very very tasty they did! Service was super friendly. Highly recommend this spot! Heard they have another location in Atascadero too that's just as rock solid.
There will never be a burrito as good as the original Carne asada from Quatro hermanos, but this is very solid!

Best Mexican food in Paso Didn’t break the bank 😊😊😊😊
Absolutely love their food here and the staff is super nice and friendly and they have great prices too
Super friendly people, good salsa bar, really quality meats
overall excellent, would recommend. great price for great food
The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. Their tacos are especially fresh and wonderful. The salsa bar with chips is much appreciated! The birria taco was amazing!
This restaurant has finally solved an issue we were having in Paso Robles which is the lack of authentic good quality Mexican food. The people who work here are very kind and appreciative of your patronage. The food is very satisfying and we go there often.
Food was great. I ordered the asada fries for pick up, but found that I received the nachos instead. Food was still good 😊
Had the pastor at Fourth of July on a winery. Pastor tacos are my bread and butter, and this place did not disappoint. 3 tacos for 15 is a bit steep, but worth every penny. Their ceviche was great as well and the customer service was great!
What a great little restaurant, with food that brings ypu back for more. A must stop any day of the week. God bless
5 stars all around for the food and incredible service and recommendations by Rafa. Highly recommend!
Always friendly service. The place is also so clean. Great food! I alway have great confidence in my choice to eat from them.
The Barbacoa tacos are incredible. I’ve tried a couple other things that were very good as well but it’s hard not to order the Barbacoa. Really friendly people too!

Legitimately the best burrito I've had. Quesadillas are also fuego. It's a good sign when you show up to a Mexican restaurant, and every customer is Mexican. Service is also impeccable and super friendly. Grab a bite from here while you wait for your train.
We ordered dinner to go from here one night while visiting Paso for a wedding. Had really good food. I ordered the Carnitas plate with rice and beans and was not disappointed. My wife had chicken tacos and she also liked that meal. Everything was reasonably priced. Definitely a good place to stop in Paso for Mexican food.

Typical hole in the wall. We catered for a party. Disappointed. Meat was dry and flavorless (carne + chicken). Beans were undercooked. Odd hot-chile oil type sauce, not for this gringo

For being a new place you would think they'd greet you. Very unfriendly. We just had tacos 🌮 asda and pastor. The meat was tough and burned. Flavor was ok. The salsa was good. Chips were store bought by the bag. They only have bottled drinks. We don't drink sugary drinks. I don't drink anything with caffeine or sugar. So I normally drink water. He said we don't have water. I've never been to a restaurant that doesn't have water. Maybe buy bottled water a customer can at least purchase. We were very disappointed. Will not be back.
I was very disappointed with both times I have eaten here! The Atascadero location has always been pretty good, but even their food isn't much better.. the last time I was there, anyway. I tried the Chile Verde plate the first time I was here at the Paso location.. it just didn't taste good.. chips and salsa tasted store bought, and the combo plate I tried, the second visit, was even worse. I get so hopeful when I see a new Mexican restaurant in the North County.. hoping we'll finally have a place that takes pride in the quality of food they sell. Upon entering, it has a walk-up order counter, as well.. which gives it a fast food feel.. The good news is that it was clean and in much better shape than the last Mexican restaurant that was there before them. Staff was friendly, but during my 2 visits, the person who took my order, had limited English speaking abilities.. making any special requests a bit tricky. I'm still in search of a solid, delicious Mexican restaurant that has great rice and beans, along with consistently good chilie verde!
First and last time, I have been in bad places but this is the worst by far. Food was horrible. I will not recommended to anyone.
Was very disappointed after reading the great reviews!! Front door didn’t close properly and it was windy and all the cold was blowing in on a very cold night!! I ordered the tacos 🌮 barbacoa and they were very greasy!! Thought it said they had margaritas but these weren’t even wine margaritas?? I realized a liquor license is very expensive and not all restaurants can afford them. That being said I’ve had pretty good wine margaritas! The one I got was like a lemon slush that never melted!!! Sorry won’t be going back!
I usually have a good experience, i eat there weekly.. but today, Ihad a terrible experience with.. whom seemed to be the owner, was sitting at a table waiting.. there was no body in the restaurant.. I needed to use the restroom so I informed the cashier.. when I came out and walked by the guy at the table.. he was very rude and told me that the restrooms are for customers.. I told him that I always eat there.. but still a bad attitude and have me such a bad vibe.. I won't be going back.. or with friends.. there's plenty of restaurants around.. I don't need to be treated so rudely.. I don't leave reviews.. but, here it is bc he had to give me attitude, so disrespectful.. I'll be eating else where..
