If you value quality over price, this is the spot. Look, a good meal isn't cheap. You pay for good quality, superb preparation, and excellent service, and Pellana has it all. Our server, Teddy, was on point. Phenomenal service, he was knowledgeable, witty, and best of all, returned to the table right when we needed him without hovering. That's a skill most don't have. We started with the bacon wrapped scallops, and hubby had to grab a bosshog x, I was a bit more moderate with a widow jane. Now, the food. THE FOOD!!!! The best steak I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Perfectly seared outside. A perfect Med cook all the way through from end to end.. I had it topped oscar style. Great bernaise sauce! and we shared the garlic mashed potand creamed corn, which has a lovely hint of roasted red pepper, not spicy, but just the little something needed to cut the sweetness of the corn. hubby had the veal chop. Again, the preparation was flawless, I've never seen a veal chop so perfectly cooked all the way through. The drinks were also well poured and unique, I tried the seaside toast, glenfiddich with a smoked cherry wood presentation. He had the smokehouse, with mezcal. Finished off the meal with a creme brule and pistachio martini. Loved every bite and sip. Can't wait to go back.

Such an unreal experience! Server was ON POINT the whole service. My mom took us out for my hubbys Bday dinner & Drinks were 🔥‼️ Ny strip, Ribeye, crab cake, baked sweet potato, lobster mashed potato & onion strings. Mami got a Grey goose & cranberry. I got a Old fashioned & a Cosmo 🍸Everything HIT. 10 all around. Deff going back🤤

Easy to linger at a Sunday brunch like this. Four of us sat down at the bar, ordered mimosas, and were greeted by a beautiful bowl of complimentary breads served with fresh butter and jelly. Two orders of filet benedict, 1 vegetarian fish benedict, and 1 omelet that was on special. Every bite was outstanding and we are pretty sure they use Natalie's orange juice in the mimosas. Service was wonderful; our glasses never ran dry and Jacob was ahead of needs. Spent 3 hours continuing to enjoy the great service and extra drinks while never feeling rushed or that we outstayed our welcome. Thank you for the awesome hospitality.

Wow what an awesome dining experience. From the moment we walked in they were so friendly and knew it was our anniversary. Our server Jon also knew it was our anniversary and really helped to make it a special night. We highly recommend Pellana and absolutely ask for Jon. He’s been there over 10 years and it showed. He was the best. From recommending wine to going over the specials he was really good. The food was awesome. My wife and I both agreed this was probably the best meal we ever had.

2/19/24- The Atmosphere was Classic, Elegant and Romantic. Service was very prestige. Food presentation was spot on and the taste was absolutely delicious.

The absolute best steakhouse! Our server Jason was phenomenal and extremely attentive. The food was amazing, we love celebrating special occasions here all! Can’t wait to be back soon!

The best steak EVER. I’ve been to dozens on dozens of high end steak houses and Pellana stays in the #1 spot. Their steak is seasoned to absolute perfection every single time I come here. Their service is impeccable and never disappoints. Their prices are very slightly higher than your other high end steak houses but the extra few dollars is beyond worth it.

This particular date night was terrific. Hannah, our stunning waitperson, was very knowledgeable. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was charming. I am looking forward to going back.

Had an amazing experience on my first visit to Pellana! Reservations go quick but there’s always bar sitting 🍸!! Leslie took amazing care of us (while waiting for our seats) she recommended great cocktails and was supper cool 😎. Laura back in the bar area crafted delicious cocktails 🍸her recommendations were some of the best! As per food, definitely try their seafood but some of my favs were: Obion rings, lean filet 🥩 & their deviled eggs 🥚.

Took the lovely Mrs. out for our 12 year anniversary ❤. The atmosphere was phenomenal, food was the best I have had on the north shore! Jason was our server and he is absolutely a genius. This guy was not overbearing he was the perfect gentleman and knows his way around the wine menu 😉. Will be returning for our anniversary every year and asking for Jason my newel bff! Thanks Jason for making it one for the books .

Always a wonderful meal at Pellana! We like to sit at the bar and had the pleasure of having Charles as our bartender; he is one of the best bartenders ever! Their bread basket is so good (especially the cinnamon raisin) and our filet was delicious. The lemon cake was the perfect finish to another great experience at Pellana. UPDATE: 1/14/20 hubby bday dinner. Delicious as always. Very busy at the bar on a Tuesday evening at 6pm but got seats within 20 minutes. Only complaint: there is one too many bar seats; eliminate one and it’ll be a much more comfortable situation for all. We all need a bit of space when enjoying dinner vs being jammed up on someone. Also, please enforce a minimal dress code: T-shirts & ball caps shouldn’t be allowed, just brings the Pellana experience down. BTW fantastic chocolate martini by Nick. 🍸

One of the best steakhouses on the North Shore. Top notch service, great martini's and their food is consistently delicious. Bar area is comfortable and classy, has a fireplace and television so you can enjoy the ambiance or a game. Main dining area has four sections with some good areas and round tables for larger groups. Restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. Worth a visit if you have not been 100%...

This place has amazing food!! When you pay the prices they charge it’s fantastic to get the high quality product. The filet was one if the best I’ve ever had. The Oscar topping was fantastic. The blackened tuna was buttery and wonderful! Sides were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend for special events or when you are looking for high end food.

My bf and I came here for dinner a month ago and all I can say is, the food was worth the money. I had the seared scallops with lobster risotto. My bf had the pork chops with apple crisp. I thought his dish was kinda weird but when you actually take a bite of the pork chop and apple crisp, it made sense! As for my dish, I was completely blown away. Didn’t think I would get so much lobster in my risotto. Scallops were perfectly cooked. To this day I can still taste the dish in my mouth. The staff were so nice and the atmosphere was very intimate. Loved everything about this place!

This is potentially the best steakhouse in New England. It beats ALMOST everything in Boston most nights. Service is exquisite; you’ll feel like a king. The crust on the tomahawk we had was divine and their house steak sauce I could bathe in. Run, dont walk.

Pellana is always exceptional and when you get the perfect table it is extraordinary. We have a wheelchair space need and it is always aknowledged and in place! The food is fabulous, service second to none, and special requests handled graciously. We have been long time clientele and will continue to hold special family dinners there!

Hosted a corporate dinner party there last evening - and everything was fabulous! From the GM Eden taking such amazing care of our group to one of the newer waitstaff Caroline who truly went above and beyond. Menu, cocktails & wine selection was perfect and rave reviews from our guests. Thank you, we will be back!

I love this place. I've never gotten food that I didn't like, and I've tried a lot of it. They always have really good specials, like the surf n turf. The tuna tartar is the appetizer i can never skip, but their other apps are phenomenal. Their drinks are amazing, and I highly recommend the Morning Buzz and the House Pineapple-Infused Vodka! The waiters (I've yet to have a waitress) are all knowledgeable and friendly. I would come here weekly if I had less self control!

So.my sons and I came their for lunch we had Layla as our server. She was fantastic very nice made sure we had everything we needed and not just once she stopped by a few times to make sure she deserves a raise she is a great server. We eat out all the time at very nice restaurants and her service was great. Thank you for a great lunch we will be back and I will tell all my friends about this place and I know alot of people. The food is truly authentic Italian. (Not like many that call their food Italian but it’s very Americanized.) the owner Linda is welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. We have been there many times and have been thrilled every time as were our guests. Friends recently took me there for my birthday dinner. From appetizers to desserts we didn’t want to leave a morsel on our plates . Looking forward to the next time (if we can get in). The dining space is quaint and cozy, if they expanded through three more buildings I bet there would be still be a wait ! Congratulations to the owners and staff. All the best in 2026!

We were so excited nearly 20 years ago when Pellana opened—finally an outstanding steakhouse close to home without having to drive into Boston. Whether for brunch, lunch, or dinner, the menu never gets tired, and one of the things we love most is how they rotate their specials—and they are truly SPECIAL! Late Saturday afternoon, my son and I stopped in and took a chance on the bar waitlist. We called ahead and were thrilled to find only one couple in front of us. Eden was wonderful from the first call through my several check-ins, and we were seated within 20 minutes. Everything we ordered was excellent, but the highlight was the one of the specials, a 2-pound baked stuffed lobster with crab meat—hands down the best stuffed lobster I’ve ever had out. The stuffing was plentiful yet light, perfectly balanced, and not overly rich. We also shared a wedge salad, lobster bisque, bone-in ribeye, potatoes au gratin, and spinach with mushrooms—every dish was spot on. What truly sets Pellana apart is the service. Eden remembered me when I called back later, even during a busy service, and Nick stopped by to welcome my son back from a recent visit. These personal touches, combined with incredible food and a warm, polished atmosphere, are why Pellana continues to be a favorite. Best-in-class all around. Thank you to all!

What a great dining experience - beautifully set in a cozy and elegant atmosphere. Our server, Leyla, recommended the crab cake and filet mignon. Both were outstanding, and Leyla was a delight. She has a great sense of humor, checked in on us through out the meal and even though we were first timers, treated us as if we were frequent customers. I forgot to mention the bread basket - best ever! Filled with popovers and toasted focaccia bread. Pellana’s is a treasure.

Nick the bar manager is super helpful and saved my Christmas. He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and took time out of his day to figure out which wine I had at dinner a few weeks ago and help me buy something comparable. Made my Christmas a little brighter and I hope his, and the pellana’s staff, is as well!

Was just here Thursday 12/11 - If you don’t know this is the best steakhouse in the north shore, the best restaurant in the north shore, and the 3rd best steakhouse in the Boston area. Ambiance of a city steakhouse. Better service than any other place you’ve been (shout out Tiago, Big Jason, Lee Ann, and James - yes I remember their names that’s now good, and the perfect selection. I’ve spent every month for the last 4 years going to a steakhouse and this is consistently top 3.

Came here to have dinner with the boys. Ambiance was amazing service was really good. Manager and waiter took care of us and was very attentive. Service was a 10/10. I ordered a ribeye. Lacked a bit of salt and pepper. It also came out cool not too hot which was a bummer. If the steak was better I would rate this restaurant 5/5 but service definitely made up for it.

First timer here. Pretty good steakhouse that is easy to get to. A little too dark inside where we sat. Could've used more lighting. My meal was great, the steak was on point and melted in my mouth. The French onion soup was perfect. Unfortunately one of the waitstaff spilled hot French onion soup on my pants and also splashed on my 7 year old God daughter's arm. She was ok but not sure I can remove these stain from my pants. Accidents happen, just try and be more careful. I didnt say anything because i didn't want to make a scene. Behind us a waiter had dropped entire champagne bottle and it shattered. We are only human. Besides that I honestly loved the food. Thanks for the memories.

Meat quality subpar. Let's get that out of the way since that's my only complaint. The kitchen here is outstanding and knows what they're doing, however the person ordering meats seems to be doing it on the cheap. We ordered a filet and a ribeye and both verged on tough despite costing around $80 each. Flavors were outstanding. Lobster mac and cheese is to die for. Lovely place to dine, just wish their ingredient quality matched the price tag.

My husband and I went here for date night on my Birthday Celebration while we were vacationing in Salem for Halloween. The food was wonderful. Atmosphere was wonderful but busy. The only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 was the service was slow and I ran out of my drink quickly with no refills for the entire dining experience until right before we left. Other than that I would definitely go back and it was a very romantic spot for a date.

I had heard great things about this place and was excited to finally visit. Sadly, my visit wasn’t as good as I had hoped. We sat at the bar and had great drinks and service from Jacob. The crab cake was pretty good. We got the tenderloin (very tender and delicious) which normally comes with truffle risotto but there was a lobster risotto special which we asked for instead (obviously an up charge). It was terrible! It was so salty we couldn’t eat it and if there was lobster in it, it was minimal. Like barely any at all. The bartender was nice enough to replace it with a regular risotto. Again, way too salty. The onion strings were delicious. The best part of the meal was the strawberry shortcake. One of the best I've ever had and I’ll be back for that alone! Super expensive, which is fine if the food matches up. Unfortunately it did not in this case. I’ll definitely give it another chance.

Sat us near the bathroom and kitchen. We made reservations for our 13th Wedding Anniversary and they put us at the furthest table near the kitchen entrance and the bathroom. While the server was great it was just a great disappointment to keep hearing the door open and close. Likely will not be coming back here again.

The 32 ounce porterhouse was way too salty almost like they wanted to make sure we (colored people) didnt come back. But I’ll be back and will definitely send a steak like that back to that kitchen (hopefully they don't spit in it) but the atmosphere was nice, the table was a tad bit too small for 2 people and the food we ordered. But they need to fix a couple of tweaks here I wont let it ruin my experience just learned from it.

Service and ambiance was excellent. Lobster Mac and cheese, pumpkin cheesecake, lobster 🦞 tail and claw was good. The stuffing and the steak was ok, its like they didnt put any salt or pepper on it minimum. We were starving so we ate it anyway but oh well next time back to STK instead for the price.

Clams casino app was great. Clam chowder had one clam and all bacon. Lobster mac and cheese was the highlight. Steaks were overcooked and flavorless, not what you expect for an $80 steak. Nice dining room, but uncomfortable chairs . Would not go back .

Probably the worst service I’ve ever had at an overprice steakhouse. We asked for our server James multiple times to which he was no where to be found. Instead he would check in on other tables that were beside us and didn’t bother to check in on us. I definitely felt discriminated against. Gave feedback to the manager and he shrugged it off. Will not be returning to the location ever and as a resident of Peabody and the network I have, will not recommend this place due to the service and lack of management involvement. Servers work off tip and never in my life have I ever keft $0 for a tip, but it felt good to do so. Management needs to learn customer service and why it’s important to be attentive especially in the food industry. Skip this place if you are of color!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. If you are a person of color i highly recommend to find a different establishment to spend your hard earned money. My husband and I booked an 11am brunch reservation for Valentine’s Day. When we were brought to our table the lights weren’t even on all the way, we didn’t receive water until asking 3 times and waiting 15 minutes. It was not until a Caucasian couple was sat in our section that they turned on the lights, brought water, and served them the breadsticks first. Within the first 20 minutes of our reservation we were disregarded and barely greeted. We left the restaurant and immediately regretted not sticking to our original steakhouse go to which is Mooo in Boston. If you have children with you celebrating any special occasion i highly recommend Mooo. They will never make you feel second class and will always prioritize every customers’ needs. Don’t waste your money at Pellana - they are a wanna be high scale steak house with nothing to show for it.

The service and atmosphere was what you’d expect from a high end restaurant. Unfortunately I could have purchased a better sirloin at Stop & Shop. About 1/3 of it was gristle and fat. I spent the majority of my time cutting it out. The sides and appetizers were good and the chef did a good job cooking it to order. When I explained my dissatisfaction with the steak to the waitress she said I should have sent it back. So my option was to sit there and watch the rest of my party eat while they cooked another steak or keep cutting. I was never offered anything to compensate for my poor meal. When paying just south of a thousand for six people, I would expect better.
