Chiunque venga a Milano deve assolutamente pranzare qui! 🍕❤️
The food was delicious! The atmosphere was sublime and the service was amazing. The server Ashley made it a great experience and we had a great time. If I ever return to Milan, this will be one of the first restaurants I make sure I return too.
First time traveling to Milan and decided to eat this restaurant as my dinner. I ordered two pasta (Carbonara & Octopus) Both is good but the Octopus ones the seafood smell is a bit strong Also i’ve ordered Tuna burger and for my surprise it’s red not the tuna i was used to… But i believe it’s smoked. One notable is the hot water has seafood smell on it even before anything arrive. The staff is very friendly and patient with my requests.
Restaurant Pizzera Dugano in Milan was a hidden gem! Located on the side alley of the Duomo. Shout out to Pipo ( our server) who went above and beyond!!! It was my hubby’s birthday that day (26 July) and made it so special…he put a candle on his dessert and we all sang a happy birthday song! The food was excellent! Ordered grilled seafood, calamari, shrimp with salad for our late lunch after our duomo tour. Their tiramusu was to die for😜 Great ambiance inside but we opted to seat outside though. Price was fair considering it’s located within the center. Highly recommended when in Milan! We will come back for our next visit.
This place offered two pleasant visits. Every time, the service was very good, the food was great, excellent Pizza Diavola, and one of the best Tiramisu that I served in Milan. They also have a nice selection of craft beers if you're interested. One last thing to mention is that every pizza can be had in a gluten-free variant, so a big plus here!
Meglio prenotare in anticipo.
Ristorante Pizzeria Dogana is a really solid find right off the main drag, tucked onto a cool corner that instantly pulls you in. They’ve got indoor seating, but the outdoor tables are the real draw, perfect for sitting back and watching the city move around you without being right in the chaos. The food was genuinely good. The whole grilled fish was fresh and simple in the best way, and the lasagna was rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. The menu has plenty of solid options without being overwhelming, and everything felt well done rather than touristy. Service-wise, the water refills were a bit slow, though it’s hard to tell if that’s just a Milan thing or specific to the restaurant. Either way, prices were reasonable, the location was ideal, and it felt like a relaxed, reliable spot to enjoy a proper meal without the stress of central Milan crowds.
The time when we got there it was a little bit busy and i only saw 2 servers so we waited patiently to be seated. After we ordered the place got filled with people but we didn’t have to wait a long time for our food and drinks and also there were more stuff by that time. I wanna mention Pepo (maybe Pipo i don’t remember the spelling) by name because he was trying so hard to give as the best experience. My friend is gluten intolerant so he offered us to have the gluten free tiramisu and pizza. We liked our drinks too. Good restaurant!
Great place to eat Italian cuisine. Food, atmosphere and location are amazing BUT staff were very unusual (namely waiter didn’t serve one of us and was constantly avoiding until supervisor asked him about the second meal) also we asked for a bill but we were ignored so we went to pay it directly to supervisor. As I said all other good and thats why my rating is 3 stars out of 5. 🇮🇹
I went there as a part of the group tour so the food was already set up for us. Even so it took them so long for the order and all tasted mediocre, to the point that I didn’t bother finishing the food. I saw other tables ordering pizza and it look great but quite burnt. I would not recommend any of the dish I tried.
this restaurant felt like a standard italian eatery. the atmosphere and menu were pleasant but nothing particularly stood out as unique. we ordered the penne tomato pasta, caprese salad, pizza, and sorbet. everything was decent…not bad, but nothing memorable either. the flavors were fine but lacked the wow factor. the service was a bit slow, as it took some time to get the servers’ attention. however, when they did approach us, they were kind and welcoming, which added a nice touch to the experience. overall, i wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend this place. but if you’re looking for a spot with a nice ambience in a convenient location near the duomo, it might be worth considering.
Ambiente senza spazio. Nel tavolo molto difficile a mantenere i piatti. 🥹
The good thing is that allergens are clearly marked on the menu. There is a decent range of GF and vegetarian options. The food for me was not very nice however. I ordered the risotto alla Milano and I won't be having that again in a hurry. The waiter did ask if I wanted to swap it for anything else but my stomach was turning. My partner ordered the lasagne and said it wasn't all that sadly. It looked watery and bland. They also have grubby fake plants on the tables - can all resteraunts get rid of these please?! 😂
Food is normal, and the beer is not good. One thing piss me off is that the male staff serve me to the outside window table (two seat). After settling down, the lady stafc asked me out and said the outside window table does not serve only 1 person. After I was guided to inside, after 5 mins, they served another one person to the outside table, which exactly was my table. From my observation, this customer didn't order expensive food (pizza) and no drink, and I order a rissto, bear, mineral water and dessert. I dont know why? Is because I am an Asian customer? Food will be 3 stars but the service is really terrible. Provided that this is Molan, Big city, I should lower my expectation.
Each person is charged a €3.5 table service fee, yet there is not even bread served before the meal. Several dishes we ordered never arrived, but when it came time to pay, we were forced to pay an extra €20 tip without any prior notice or explanation. The service attitude was extremely poor. I love coffee and drink it everywhere, but this was honestly the worst espresso I have ever had — extremely sour, clearly low-quality beans. I strongly do not recommend ordering coffee here. When we asked for the bill, there were only a few tables left in the restaurant. After telling us they would come, the staff ignored us for more than 20 minutes, even billing the table next to us first while deliberately avoiding eye contact with us. Only after we had no choice but to loudly call them over did the waitress come, impatiently shoved the card machine at us, and said nothing — not even a single sincere apology. €27 in extra charges in exchange for terrible service. If you are willing to be treated like an idiot, you can keep coming here. Choosing this restaurant was the worst decision of our trip. We have been traveling in Italy for a week and every other restaurant has been friendly with amazing food. This place only cares about squeezing as much money as possible from customers and has zero respect for customer experience. Based on their attitude, I honestly cannot help but wonder whether there was discrimination against Asians.
Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing visit. The water bottle had noticeable dirty marks on it, which immediately gave an unpleasant impression. The pizza was also poorly prepared — the ham was cut extremely unevenly and looked messy. Overall, the quality and presentation were far below expectations. I won’t be returning.
⭐ 1/5 – Extremely disappointing experience at Ristorante Pizzeria Dogana I visited Ristorante Pizzeria Dogana and it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in Milan. The Capricciosa pizza had a strong fishy taste and smell, which is completely unacceptable for this dish. I ordered a meat dish for €30 and it was completely flavorless, and even the veal tasted like fish. This raises serious questions about how ingredients are stored and handled. While I was there, I noticed that almost every second customer was returning their dish. People were eating one or two bites and sending it back. Clearly, the problem is not isolated but systemic. Overall: terrible quality, unpleasant taste, and prices that are absolutely not justified. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
The most expensive chips what I ever ate. Unfortunately the meat was only bonds, fat and unchewable ...... the chef should not prepare this as a milanese cotoletta. Only 1/3 was eatable... the rest i was unable to cut. I got 3€ discount 😔 very poor solution from the management. Very big disappointment. I am Hungarian. We have same food. I mean not made like this. So I can compare. That was the worst experience in my life. I dont attach pic after cut... was disgusting. Choose other food, maybe thats better.
This place is a complete disappointment. Totally unorganized, with zero customer service—you’re not even greeted when you enter. When we asked if we could sit, we were told, ‘You have to wait,’ in the most unwelcoming way. For the high menu prices, the food was shockingly bad: bland, low quality, and the fries were clearly precooked and reheated. Overpriced, poor service, terrible food. Absolutely not recommended.
I recently visited this restaurant with two friends and, unfortunately, we were all disappointed with our meals. One friend ordered a poke bowl, which was extremely bland – it consisted solely of raw ingredients placed in a bowl, with no evident seasoning, sauce, or balance of flavors. Another friend had the spaghetti carbonara; the bacon was soft and lacked any crispiness, as if it had not been properly cooked. I ordered a pasta dish myself, and the pasta was undercooked and lacked flavor altogether. Overall, we found the dishes to be poorly executed and not representative of authentic or quality Italian cuisine. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Horrible service! An absolute tourist trap. First red flag: We arrived and had a pizza box with us. We went to sit on the table. And the waiter started shouting across the tables „YOU CAN’T EAT HERE!!“. Bear in mind the box was closed and we were putting it on the chair next to us. Then the waiter came and continued to tell us in an angry tone that we can‘t eat the pizza here even though we were never going to and the pizza was not even on the table. Second red flag: It took them 10 minutes to give us a menu even though there aren’t many people here. Third red flag: We waited 15 minutes for them to take our order. Fourth red flag: The food we ordered came before the coffee and the drinks. Fifth red flag: The cheese and honey we ordered for 14 euro came and looked as if they just put random scraps on the dish. I’ve had some wonderful cheese around the world and this is at the absolute bottom. It tasted like nothing. Absolutely appalling. Sixth red flag: When we asked them about our drinks they looked surprised and then remembered about our order. Then they brought only the fruity drinks without the coffee. These drinks tasted like they were from a cheap juice box. Seventh red flag: They needed 3 reminders to finally bring us our coffee and they even brought the wrong order 2 times. In conclusion, don’t come here because it’s absolutely awful and the service is abysmal. The only reason I gave the food two stars is because the burger was kinda ok.
