We go to Applebees almost every Friday night chill with the folks at the bar and just hang out. Laura the bartender is great. And most nights everything is fun and relaxed. Unfortunately they have a manager on a power trip Antoinette who just ruins everything she’s rude, doesn’t know or care to know her Customers and is always miserable tonight she had a trainee who didn’t really know what he was doing, she took Laura away from the bar we waited for drinks had to get loud to order dinner and then she left with the trainee what? Kinda odd for a manager to leave with a trainee. Others at the bar said he made a decent drink but wasn’t as attentive as Laura and not as personable. The other managers are cool and personable but Antoinette is just not. I have to say If Laura leaves we’ll find some place else to go Friday nights we enjoy the staff and the other customers but without Laura why bother?

Applebees is a real staple in town that welcomes you with fictitious pictures of local atheletes splattered on every wall. Taking care of the extracurricular activities of the youth makes you feel like a real wolf of wallstreet. You look around and you feel one with the community. A real local joint for real local people. We were welcomed with a hand delivered menu that comes within another menu within the original menu. As we sat there was cardboard temple centered at the table of yet another menu that also contained a menu within the menu. Then on the side of the booth to my delight...you guessed it...yet another menu. Kids even got menus with lots of activities and crayons. This place really takes their menus seriously let me tell you. No stone was unturned that night! As the waiter came she kept us informed all the way. Anytime she had to see another table she let us know. She also told us she had to use the bathroom and would be right back after delivering out our order. Then explained to the table next us the same. We both looked at each other in delight with a smile recognizing the impressiveness of up to date action. Waiting tables now has become a play by play action sport in itself. After the bathroom break which was no more than 15 minutes I offered a kind "did every go well?" and she left me reassured that there were no issues. It was now check time at the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs. After a few strolls back and forth which seemed pretty aimless the check was delivered. A home run all the way in my book. This was not only a win for us and the community, but for all mankind. Mashed potatoes were ok.

Had dinner with a friend while visiting the area and we were both very impressed with the food and especially our very able bodied, wonderful annd efficient waitress Melinda! Also, the size of the portions were quite large. All the food was terrific, and the portions were very sizable portions; what stood out most with both of us was our kind, patient extremely nice waitress Melinda. I even spoke to the manager about how lovely our dinner experience was and how pleased we were with our waitress and he was very happy to hear this. The next time we’re in the area I will definitely make it a point to stop in and have a bite to eat at this particular Applebee’s!!

Went here 11/26. Service was great. We were seated within five minutes. Our waitress, Lexi, was very friendly and went above and beyond. She checked on us every 5-10 minutes to make sure everything was good and for water refills Seating was comfortable Food was delicious. Got the holiday combo with riblets and bbq chicken. Both were flavourful and tender. Highly recommend. Cheese bites were good too. Great prices for both

We had a classic combo for appetizers. The portion sizes aren't skimpy. They give a whole shaker for you, you're not paying by the glass. To top the amazing food , was the service. Our waitress, Jennifer was on her game with deing attentive and kind. First time to this location, but will definitely be back.

I wish I could give this a five-star rating but I can't. Depending on the day you go you either get really good service or you get lousy service. The food is either exceptional or it is overcooked and dry. It is one of my dad's favorite so we keep going back. There's only been one time we've had the same wait staff otherwise it seems to be a different person each time. Some are really good and kind, and others are just their trying to get through the day it seems.

While I enjoyed the food, and the atmosphere was relaxed (early lunchtime), the service was good. However, at the time of my visit, and I don't know if this is a growing thing, the server didn't write down the order. Now, most of it was correct, I will say that. But, some minor things were incorrect (forgotten refills, didn't bring the extra napkins, little things). She was still very nice, and she definitely corrected the mistakes. Just wished it wasn't forgotten to begin with. I would give this place another try.

Had both take out and dine in. Hard to recommend either. Dine it was hit or miss on staff members while food was underwhelming. Take out was an incomplete order with a promise as compensation. Not the best, not the worst Applebee's out there.

Fun , community oriented and well it’s just Applebees! There definitely is taken from the bartenders end and over all the staff do a good job at being very hospitable. The spinach and artichoke drip out of this world. Most of the menu is ok- if you need a quick fun cheap place to get away from it all you’ve come to the right place

So me and my family are up here this weekend for my wife's college reunion thing and she suggested Applebee's. It's close by the college and we wanted some good food before we head back to the hotel. Our waitress was phenomenal. I can't give her enough praise, attentive, patient (there was nine of us), plus she served two other tables around us. I gotta say the food wasn't as good as I had hoped. To me it's a hit or miss with boneless or regular wings. Either they're too saucy or not enough sauce. These were too saucy and my pasta was too saucy as well. My wife complained about the chip being stale as well. The ambience was good. Wasn't too to crowded but with a big family we bring the crowd with us usually. The staff was definitely accommodating so I really enjoy that.

Overall good experience, had a wonderful waitress. Although they seemed very understaffed. The burger was good, but didn't bring ketchup or anything to put on it. They were very polite and helpful. I would absolutely go again. They had great presentation and cleaning. I recommend going at least once.

Both food and service are inconsistent. The process are average and some of the meals can't be altered. Wish I could get macaroni and cheese without bacon but they can't do it.

My worse experience ever at a Applebees. Burnt Food, long wait for just a drink and waitress took forever to bring just silver or get drink order. And it’s not busy in here at all.

Stopped by this location for lunch and knew in advance that we wanted the $9.99 Chicken sandwich special advertised on TV. Seated immediately by friendly server. Could not find the special on the menu. Turns out we had to ask for that menu and I noticed it was not given to the next few tables seated. Our service with that exception was excellent. The sandwich was ok, not great, nothing like the one shown on TV. No tomato, small amount of shredded lettuce, small amount of sauce, three tiny pickle slices. OK, not great. Fries were mediocre. Root beer was good. Overall the $10.99 deal at Chilis is much better.

I like Applebee's it's a good place to eat and have drinks. My steak was a little under done and I had to send it back to cook a little more. The wait staff was good and checked on us .

The service was wonderful. Our server was so aware and friendly and helpful.

Food was pretty good but there was a screw in my chicken. Not sure how that happens but we weren't charged for my plate or for our dessert. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also I was wearing a backpack type purse and had it next to me on the bench the whole time we were there and when we got home I found a roach on my shoulder. I do not have roaches and didn't go anywhere else within the last couple of hours before finding it... Not going to go back probably. Oh also, they were literally playing some kind of animal program on the TV and so I was looking at bugs, including roaches on the TV (funny enough) as I was eating which, idk about you, but I'm not into it.

I had a great experience at the Applebee's in Danbury, but not so much at this one. We ordered the two for $25 special and we both had the steak that they offer on that menu. The two for $25 is quite limited; two different steak dishes and one chicken along with limited appetizers. We opted for a salad for our appetizer. The salad was a disappointment, only iceberg lettuce and a few other slivers of different veggies. The same can be said of the steak dinners, very average. We also ordered a Margarita trial 'plate'. The drinks were all so sweet we just tasted them and couldn't drink anymore: they were positively awful. I certainly won't be trying their two for $25 meals anytime soon again. And probably won't be going back unless it's a last resort.

Burger was ordered pink. Prefer med rare. Came out well done. Chicken bacon ranch sandwitch was not composed as advertised and way overdone and dried out. I used to really enjoy this place. Went with my son and parents before he goes away to college. I wondered why it was empty for lunch. Now I know

Came here on a Wednesday night. Was happy to see they had a late night appetizer special. Overall, very poor service. I'm pretty certain my server was under the influence. I was trying to be understanding because they seemed very overwhelmed and under staffed. Because of that I was okay with the long wait times but when the drinks and food arrived, it was really bad. My cheese dips had the consistency of water. We were going to send it back but we didn't want to wait over an hour for our food again so ate half and left. I would never return here.

Service by waitress and hostess are excellent. My complaint was with the unfriendly bartender and the manager Dan. The barmaid didn’t know her red wines and told a waitress to lie to the customer and “just say what they wanna hear.” The couple took one sip and didn’t like the wine and sent it back. The manager Dan told this bartender in pic to pour in back in the bottle after they DRANK it!!! I watched her take the bottle and 2 glasses of wine into the kitchen. And then returned w the wine bottle. Firstly this is illegal, unsafe, and the days of COVID!!! I will be reporting them to the BOH and Applebee’s Corporate.

I really would appreciate not getting the bottom portion of the nacho chips. I legit got nothing but chipped chips hidden underneath the top of my food. That's dirty y'all. Don't do that to your customers please.

We went on Saturday night and asked for boneless wings as appetizers. What we got? Ten tiny bites of crispy something. We usually have a good experience there; I don't really understand what happened this time. The photo is a sample of some of the bites we got, check the tiny size.

I've never ordered from here before but wanted a good burger so we gave it a shot. I ordered waffle fries instead of regular, which cost extra. I thought it was a joke when the delivery arrived. There were about 6 fries. $20 for an average burger and laughably stingy side is just sad. They weren't even good.

Worst experience ever! All I wanted to do was pick up my Uber eats order. The manager refused to give it to me because he swore that it was getting picked up by an Uber driver for delivery! Barely spoke English and just an overall not nice person! By the time we made him realize it was a pick up in person order our food was cold and the drinks were watered down from the ice! DO NOT DO AN UBER EATS PICK UP ORDER!

HUGE PIECE OF METAL IN MY FOOD!!! I ordered a chicken quesadilla for takeout after the gym. I was eating it and bit into something hard that stabbed me in my mouth. When I spit it out it was a huge piece of metal shaped like a hook. I will include pictures but looks like a sharp piece of metal about a inch and a half long with sharp edges. I’m glad I didn’t swallow this and thank the lord a kid didn’t eat this.

Prior to this, we had a good experience for the most part. I will start off my thing our waitress was Sweet at the Poughkeepsie New York one. However, there were errors in three of the four meals that were ordered And my plate Was not clean and had guacamole on it that was not part of my meal had just squirted on it from their sauce dispenser they told me. The waitress fixed the other issues and then had a nice gentleman a Spanish man come over. He was a supervisor he was very kind offered to Issue and I owe you for a meal when I come in next time and he was going to take my Dirty plate of food off of my check. Antoinnette, the general manager, a blonde lady with glasses came over not so Great about her own supervisor And said that he was wrong, they couldn’t give me the IOU you for the meal that he had promised me and then they didn’t take the meal off of my check that was served on a filthy plate. Forget all the errors in the other meals that we ordered. We then waited quite some time just to pay for the check overall. I was just horrified that how the general manager handled it and I promise I will never go back to that Applebee’s, which is a shame.

We ate at this Applebee's yesterday. It was a disaster. There must have been 2 or 3 workers that called out, because it was poorly managed. It was a very busy day and our poor waitress was very overwhelmed! I can only assume that's why she didn't get us what we asked for multiple times. My husband never did receive his tonic water. The booths along the windows were piled up with dirty dishes. My sisters steak was very grizzled. My husband's Asian salad had a weird taste. You would think that the manager would step in and help out. We never saw one. We won't eat here again.

Be prepared to walk in to get your mobile or Uber Eats order and not be acknowledged for half an hour. In fact I’m writing this while waiting.

They sat us down right away, the hostess was great but after we sat down, we waited too long We were never greeted by a waiter, customers that came after us were getting greeted and ordered before us. After almost 45mins we decided to just leave

Terrible service. My waiter was very rude. The food came out on DIRTY plates. Ran out of broccoli. Waiter gave me no bag just a to go box. Ridiculous!

Server left in the middle said someone else would come along and take over nobody came sat there well after eating until the bartender brought the receipt didn’t even ask if anybody wanted to order dessert there was multiple mistakes (duplicated appetizers ) on the receipt had to correct it more than once because the receipt kept being given back without the extra appetizer charge off of it. The food really isn’t anything to brag about to be honest especially the salad it’s warm and soggy it’s not fresh tastes like days old salad u have lying in the fridge. Would be better off just cooking at home.

By far the worst location In all of ny food is horrible and wrong takes an hour to get a small easy order brought to you table, service is horrible waitresses are rude and slow, frozen drinks come melted. Spent whole time listening to female manager scream and swear and complain in the back from my table. We will never return to this location, food was incorrectly made and never was offered even a discount, and when it came out after being “ remade” it was dry and and smashed

I called to try and clarify what’s going on with the menu on UberEats and they “Manager” that answered the phone was completely rude and unprofessional. All I was trying to do was order food for my family and the app kept telling me everything was sold out so I wanted to just verify if everything’s okay or if I need to find somewhere else to eat. Who ever the acting manager is @9pm on Mondays sucks. I hope your life becomes a little happier my guy.

The General Manager, Antoinette, absolutely ruined my lunch with my mother and grandmother. She publicly degraded our server in front of us and spoke to him like he was a dog. Service was quite slow; but if my GM scolded and humiliated me in front of everyone, I would be slow too. The attitude of servers and other floor employees are a reflection of upper management’s attitude and I wouldn’t be caught dead working for someone that thinks that behavior is acceptable. It was extremely unprofessional and she should be ashamed to talk to another human being like that. The server on the other hand handled the situation very well. He seemed to have a strong head on his shoulders and did not let her snotty, disgraceful and egregious comments get to him. One of Applebee’s core values and goals is “Guest and Team First” mentality but the General Manager couldn’t be straying farther from that concept. Putting down those around you and making them feel worthless is why I will never eat at any Applebee’s location again. The GM has publicly set a horrible example of the company’s values and I believe they should review what impression they are leaving on customers. I wish the absolute best for the servers and other employees that have to work with her on a daily basis, because my 30-second interaction was more than enough. Hospitality is the #1 value, but you can’t achieve that by treating your staff like scum.

We dined here on New Year’s Eve with a party of six, fully expecting some delay due to the holiday. However, the experience was far below reasonable expectations. We arrived between 7:15 and 7:30 PM, and despite the restaurant being mostly empty, we waited approximately 15 minutes to be seated. After being seated, we placed our orders and received drinks. The restaurant never became busy-only a few additional tables were seated after us. Despite this, we waited over an hour for our food without seeing our server. Eventually, a member of our party had to stop the hostess simply to REQUEST drink refills and ask about the status of our meals. We were only then informed that some of our food had been mistakenly served to another table. Unfortunately, it took our inquiry for any food to begin coming out. The meals were not served together; instead, they arrived at different times. One meal arrived lukewarm, suggesting it had been sitting for some time, while the remaining meals continued to trickle out. Most disappointing was that the children’s meals(mac and cheese, yogurt, and a salad) were the last to arrive, approximately 15-20 minutes after the adult meals. By the time the children were served, it was after 9:15 PM. Given the circumstances, this was especially frustrating since who wants to eat in front of their starving children? Overall, the lack of communication, long wait times, and poor service made for a very unpleasant experience. While delays can happen, better communication and basic service-such as drink refills-would have significantly improved the situation. At minimum, we feel the children’s meals should have been comped. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this location EVER.
