Eastdale bagels are great. I grew up on Long Island, and they remind me of home. This place is always busy, but they're efficient and friendly. I recommend calling and ordering ahead. They use high quality bacon on their egg sandwiches too, which is a nice change from a lot of other local places. Definitely recommend.
Best NY bagel out there. Staff is the best. Food is top tier.
I think I have previously jumped the gun on best Bacon, Egg & Cheese sandwich in the area. This one takes the cake by far. We have been going here since they first opened. My gf loves their bagels (and she’s picky! lol) and I have yet to have a bad breakfast sandwich or muffin from them. Great prices, unbelievably fresh ingredients and honestly very nice people. Plus they always give me a fist bump when I come in. We probably go here on average around once a week, if not more. That’s how good they are. Would not hesitate to point any newcomers or locals in their direction. Thanks to Alex and Eastdale team.
The bagels there are as good as they come. Only downside is the place can get packed but the staff just pumps out the orders so the wait is never long
Place was great---Had whitefish there for the first time and loved it. I normally Uber an order of bagels and lox to my place and it's always fresh, and the bagels are always soft with that nice outer crisp when theyre lightly toasted. If you're diabetic like me, the whole wheat everything bagels are nice and don't spike your sugar too much. Looking forward to trying the egg salad next time (I'm a sucker for it).
Hands down, best bagels we have ever had…quick, easy, get in, get out which is awesome!! Thank you for starting our day off right!! Will definitely be back!!
This place is the real deal. Love the bagels! I only wish it had more space so you could eat inside.
Love this place! Best bagels north of Westchester! Everything is always fresh and the place is clean. Alex and staff are so friendly and courteous! Great experience!
This is our favorite place!!! The bagels 🥯are amazing especially toasted with butter or topped with any of their awesome cream cheeses. The variety of pastries, danishes or cookies are delicious too🙌🏽. We also love the New Yorker breakfast sandwich. The subs are just as good… the Avelino is my absolute favorite🙌🏽🎉🙌🏽❤️ You’ll leave very satisfied. The staff is always friendly and welcoming❤️🙌🏽🎉
The freshest bagels, and goods I’ve ever had. The pictures are of a whole wheat everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese and the other is an egg everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Everyone gets better and better. The staff is quick so kind barley ever a wait, great prices and Evan is so sweet while making bagels and talking to customers . If you haven’t tried eastdale bagels you’re definitely missing out on something amazing 🤩
It's a good little bagel shop in that area, the bagels are done right in the water bath. The New Yorker breakfast sandwich is really good. The bagels remind me of the bagels from NYC. The only negative is they don't have jalapeno bagels, they do have jalapeno cream cheese, but its not the same.
I saw they are making bagels at the store itself in front of us, cool about this thing. Me and my friends too 2 everything wheat bagels with olive cream and jalapeños cream cheese and another garlic bagel with 2 Over well eggs and jalapeño cream cheese. The taste was okay, I don’t think my sandwich has enough cream cheese in it. Okay about it.As it was raining today, I wish it had at-least few little tables inside the store.
We love Athena Gyro, and have been wanting to try this bagel shop for months hoping the food would be equally amazing. We visited last Sunday and although it was busy & hectic, it was worth the wait and service was attentive and polite. The interior is small and they are serving a large volume of customers, so yes it’s confusing if people are waiting to order but we had no issue being served. We had two bacon egg and cheese on an everything egg bagel and my son had a muffin and a croissant (neither of which I tasted) but both looked delicious. The bagel sandwiches were divine and quite filling and generous with the bacon. The bagels themselves were chewy and it was a really good sandwich. Perhaps next time I will order ahead, but I would like to try their bagels on their own. It’s been hard to find a good chewy bagel since moving to Dutchess a few years ago. These were pretty close to hitting the mark and I can see why they were packed on a Sunday morning.
These bagels are ok. They’re more dense and chewy which I’m not a fan of but the fillings are always good, I like their cream cheese and the bacon sausage and lox is super good but the bread just isn’t up to par for me 😔 Also $16 for TWO bagels is insane like a bacon egg and cheese should not be $8 this is highway robbery like it’s not $8 for a BEC in NYC these are super overpriced I was so shocked when I saw the total. But I guess they’re the only ones doing bagels in pok so they can do what they want .
This place is too small for the volume they have... Chaotic the moment you step in, no idea if it's a line for food or waiting for food... Just no flow bc it's too small. Good bagels but annoying to get one. Everyone has to talk over the next person. Couldn't hear what the guy at the register said and I was a counter top away from him ... They need a new layout.
3 strikes and you're out. The first time I ordered from here everything was great but since then 3 times (in a row) I have ordered food (delivery) only for my item (the same thing each time) to be missing the ingrediant I paid extra for. It's too bad because the bagels are pretty decent but I am tired of not getting the thing I ordered/paid for made correctly. And it's not like my delivery person can open my food and check to make sure so I only find out when it's delivered to me and to reorder the item would not only cost me more money but then take another hour to get to me. No thanks.
Called at 1:45 to make sure they were still open. They said yes, they close at 3. Ordered for pickup wit a pickup time of around 2:30. Drive 30 minutes away and got there at 2:30 to find out they closed early and staff left. Doors were locked, no one was there but construction workers. And to make matters worse this is not the first time this has happened. Very disappointed.
What a disappointment. Been here multiple times and always liked their bagels and sandwiches. However, I will not be returning. Yesterday I went in with my wife, and it was the usual busy, maybe even more than normal. We placed our order and stood back to wait, knowing full well it'd be a while. After 35 minutes I went to check on our order because we saw so many customers getting their orders who had come in after us. The young worker started to look for our order slip, and then eventually found the order bagged and on the shelf for online order pick up. I said to him, you are calling out order after order to those ordering on site, why was my order placed and not called out. He said "we're busy", with an attitude, as if I shouldn't be asking. I said well that's not acceptable, the food is now probably cold. He replies with more of an attitude stating "It was a mistake, sorry". So I got my cold food and attitude from Eastdale Bagels. I get it, it was busy, and mistakes are made all the time, but to give me an attitude? What happened to customer service? I am a patron, and patrons are what keeps businesses alive, yet it was if this young gentleman blamed me. Never again, I do not go to businesses that treat their customers as if they were the problem. This young man was nasty and offered me nothing in return for the inconvenience they laid upon me.
Literally remove GF from your menu. Offering frozen bagels at a place that is made to order is ridiculous. Do better
Remove 'gluten free' options from your menu. The owners should be embarrassed by the offering bagged, frozen bagels that you can get at any grocery store. Cant wait for them to add a copy and paste comment showing how much they dont care. Just go to Empire Bagel in fishkill, they at least have a great GF roll option. I love watching the star rating go down because of their blatant lies just to get people to come there. And Eastdale sucks as a whole.
