I had such a great experience at Lolita’s in Poughkeepsie! Alex was my bartender/waiter, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain the drink menu. His recommendations were spot-on — I tried the rosemary flatbread with ricotta cheese and it was warm, savory, and absolutely delicious. Alex made the whole experience fun and welcoming, and his enthusiasm made me want to try everything he suggested. I’ll definitely be back!

This was one of the best meals I have ever had. Kale salad was crunchy, tangy and perfectly seasoned. Brussel sprouts were decadent. Pizzas were wonderful as well. I would prefer more sauce on mine but it was lovely either way.

We were a party of four who walked in without a reservation. Although the restaurant was fully booked, the staff kindly offered us outdoor seating. As soon as a table became available inside, they invited us to move — a thoughtful touch we really appreciated. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was incredibly professional and genuinely helpful, offering fantastic recommendations not only for the meal but also for our stay in Poughkeepsie and the next leg of our journey. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. I had the Chicken Parm from the Menu du Jour, and it was absolutely excellent. And I can highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts as side! The whole evening left us feeling welcomed and well cared for. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable night!

First time here (our daughter goes to Marist) & it was amazing! Our server (“Scary Terry” who was the opposite of scary lol) was excellent! All of the staff went above & beyond & we’re all very helpful & friendly. The pizza was delicious & the kale Caesar salad was to die for!!!! My husband is not a big fan of kale but he loved it (we shared that & a pizza). He was happy with the beer selection as well. Great place! Thanks so much for the awesome experience.

After a nice vigorous walk over the Hudson River, my partner, his family and I worked up an appetite. I had recalled someone mentioning this establishment from our last visit 2 years ago. Formerly the site of Crave Restaurant & Lounge, it was very easy to find as one goes down the staircase on the east entrance of the walkway. Lolita’s Pizza is quaint and welcoming, located on Washington Street in Poughkeepsie. Upon entering as first-timers, we were greeted by the staff as the restaurant was busy. Bowls scattered throughout the length of the wall on the right with a rustic/minimalist vibe. Since we didn’t have reservations, a table was available on their outside patio under cover for us. The menu was limited. As starters, we decided on the arancini (crispy fried risotto balls). As our entrees, we opted for Chicken Bruschetta Pizza, Tomato & Corn Pizza, Mac & Cheese and Gemelli (hazelnut arugula pesto, whipped ricotta, basil grana padano) with Burrata on the side. The arancini were so tasty and crunchy with a slight kick. The firewood pizzas were personal size and cooked to perfection with a little bit of char on the edges. High-end food quality was brought out pretty fast and tasted delicious. The portions were huge, so we took them home for another meal. Our servers Cody and Terry were super friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable. Overall, if you're looking for great vibes and amazing food, this is the place that we can recommend.

A true gem! It is very easy to find as you go down the staircase on the East entrance of the Walkway over the Hudson (Washington St). As appetizers, we ordered the roasted olives and arancini, the olives were unique and generous, and the arancini were so tasty and crunchy. The Napolitan style pizza is delicious, with a great selection of beers on tap and cans. It's difficult to pick something to highlight with everything being so good and well prepared, but if I must, I would say the cheesecake was a strong contender. Service and attention rounds up the experience. I can't wait to be there again!

This place was unreal. It’s small but super cozy and cute. The staff was friendly and attentive. Legitimately some of the best pizza I have ever had. The pizza was cooked to perfection. I love a little bit of char on the edges and the pepperoni cups crisped up nicely. The cheesy rosemary flatbread was delicious. I did not know I needed rosemary in my cheese bread but now I know, and it will never be the same without it. The price was super reasonable. For the pizza, the cheese bread and a beer and some milk for my kid. It was only about 35 bucks. If I lived closer than two hours away, I would be going here at least weekly. Outstanding place!

Every aspect of Lolita’s brings joy. Really fun aesthetic and truly fabulous cocktails and food. Their kale caesar is the stuff of dreams, even my most vegetable-loathing friend couldn’t stop eating it. The brussels sprouts are also up there on the to-die-for scale. Their pizzas are thoughtfully crafted, their cocktails are so solidly balanced. Their papardelle is silky and beautiful— it’s everything that Shadows on the Hudson’s house made pasta wishes it could be. Menu is priced just right for high quality of the entire dining experience, which varies from lively and bustling on a Friday night to calm cute and cozy on a Sunday or early weeknight. One thing I will say is that I miss the crispy calamari…but I also appreciate a freshly updated menu so it will live on in my memory! Last but not least, their staff is really kind and attentive, which always makes the experience pleasant.

Update: our to-go place. my husband and I love coming to Lolita’s. If they have a fig pizza on the menu - try it! It’s amazing! Just moved to Poughkeepsie a little over a week ago and this place was recommended to us by multiple people. Pizzas are delicious! I got New Yorker and my husband had Sausage & Peppers. It was sooo good! As well as pasta they make in the house. We got Lumache with meatballs. Meatballs are so tender. They just melt in your mouth. When we got there it wasn’t busy so we got our food super fast. I loooved the mocktail I got. The place is stylish, the service is great and food is amazing! We will come back for sure!

I have to be one of those reviewers who says I’m coming from NYC and can eat the best pizza anytime I darn well please, and I have never eaten any quite like this. The corn salad is also amazing. But the pizza! Wow. Try the sausage and peppers with that creamy ricotta layered on it, or go with a margherita and see how great the classic tastes. My seven-year-old was with me and ate more than I’ve practically ever seen her eat — we both know quality when we come across it.

Small place and very busy. They really need to hire someone with experience in hostess. At first said no tables available yet there were some empty. Then someone said they found us a table only to have another waitress come and tell us we had to get up. Well, ended up staying and ordered. Sweet/spicy pizza was just spicy and cold. Other 3 pizza just ok but also cold. Like how? Felt rushed the whole time.
