Overated burritos small, girl taking orders a lil rude

Used to love this place, but it's not as good any more. The burritos are so much smaller than they used to be. The beans are usually hard....like they made a new batch that aren't ready yet, but still add them to the existing ones. So you bite into good beans thrown in with hard ones...sucks. The green salsa was awesome, but for the past 3 weeks it's been so hot, i don't enjoy it. I explained to the girl, last week about the bean and cheese being so small. She said they've gotten a lot of complaints about that, because of a new cook. Got one yesterday still small and hard beans. I'm not going back.

My girlfriend and I visited Señor Alberto around 2 PM. I was looking forward to it because I had not eaten for about twelve hours, and I have always enjoyed Alberto’s, especially the South Gate location. This was my second visit to this particular shop, and the experience was noticeably different. The carne asada in my burrito had an unusual amount of tendon, which you can see in the photos. That texture has never been part of my past visits to any Alberto’s, and it stood out immediately. The large taco was acceptable, but the meat looked different and was not cut the way I am used to seeing it. We also noticed an issue with the fountain drink. It had almost no carbonation, and the syrup was weak, so we ended up buying bottled Coke instead. When we ordered chips and guacamole, we were served nacho chips with guacamole and cheese. That was not what we expected based on previous visits. The overall visit felt off, and the quality did not match the consistency I have come to expect from other Alberto’s shops. I am hoping the South Gate location does not move in this direction because that store has always delivered reliable food and service for me.

Had a bad beef burrito. The juices from the meat made the tortilla wet n soggy having to throw away most of the tort. The horachta drink had no cinnamon flavor almost tasting water down sweet ice milk. Also, having to throw it out. I will NEVER come here again. Waste of hard earned money.

I order the super nachos. The fries were so hard and stale. They didn't add sour cream or guacamole. Luckily the cashier made sure and asked if I requested to not have it. I didn't put a special request, so she had them add those items. Still disappointed since the fries were hard to eat. I only ordered this because of the good reviews. So horrible.

I always loved the chimichanga burritos here but they must have changed cooks. It was terrible! Dry as can be, no moisture from the eggs or meat, overcooked. I'm not going back, tasteless. I gave it to my dog.

Barely any meat in the burrito. Lady was rude and stingy with the napkins. Burrito fell apart when held. Will never come back and do not recommend this place.

Worst food ever ..the food was cold and got me throwing up . Someone needs to send a food inspection here the food isn't on temperature and the meat isn't even azada it's the cheap meat allot of fat on it .worst place to eat at be careful we're you guys choose to eat .

6/11 11:54pm I decided to get an asada burrito and never been so disappointed. It’s filled with beans and rice and barely any meat. if I wanted a beans and rice burrito I’m not shy to order one. When I finally got to the meat it was chewy and smelled weird. Never been so disgusted threw away the burrito right away while still their parking lot. They definitely need to be checked by the heath department, save your money and go somewhere else. Never coming back!

Tried the asada fries, with everything, presentation was horrible but I didn’t let that stop me from eating the food, which I now regret because the meat did looked ugly. A Couple hours later I got food poisoning. I will never eat from this place again. Something wasn’t clean or cooked properly. Never again.

The food is good, but the service is awful when it’s the ladies working. I live nearby so I go here a lot. There’s a group of guys that work late night who are super cool always give great service ! But during the day I’ve gone when the two middle aged women are working and they’re just so rude. They huff and puff and sign when taking your order like you’re bothering them and interrupt you when your saying your order and say “Is that it!?” Or “Anything else?” So unprofessional. Got to the window, paid, and got my drink. She then said “that’s all” without handing me my food. I said “I’m still missing my food” she then sighed and rolled her eyes then yelled “green or red sauce!?” I told her red then she stuck the bag out the window and dropped it into my hands. Awful service from these ladies, if you do not like your job then quit. But don’t ruin other people’s days with your disgusting attitudes.

Second time I've visited without getting anything. Drive-thru started good; then the next server who took over for the first, for some unknown reason, couldn't understand simple questions. Questions like 1) what choices of beans are available, 2) are red/green sauces offered. Each time a new server was tasked taking my order, the process began anew. No one briefed the previous server. I was left with the impression of rank incompetence or prejudice. This has happened twice now in the exact same way. The first time was some time ago. When I 'found' it again this morning, it looked familiar but I couldn't place it until after my attempt to order. I left, again, without placing an order. I'll strive to mate this place with bad customer service so I won't try again.

I ordered tacos, a very simple dish. The food was very good looking once I took them out of the bag and I expected a great taste to follow. After biting into the taco I couldn't believe how awful the taste was. Super bland unnecessary extra hard almost to the point of being stale. I definitely will not be returning.
