After having a very poor coffee experience at another shop named "Local Coffee + Shop" near the playa, we found out about Inmortal Barra de Café ☕️😃. Inmortal Barra de Café is simply the best place to drink specialty coffee in Puerto Morello. As coffee lovers, this was one of the best coffee places we visited in Yucatan and Oaxaca. What we liked is that it’s run by people who have a passion for coffee, beans, and the process around it. They roast their own beans and have a variety of types from Veracruz and Oaxaca regions. Multiple extraction methods are available. Barista Jacky was very helpful and patient in assisting us. She speaks English well and is a skilled barista. We loved that she has a positive attitude and was enthusiastic about her job (which we believe is rare in hospitality shops in Yucatan). We really enjoyed our "flat whites" specialty coffee. Even though this place is a bit further away from the beach, it’s definitely worth visiting if you want high-quality coffee or want to buy coffee beans for back home. Café war sehr lecker, die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und äußerst bemüht den Kaffee mit Liebe zuzubereiten. Mir hat er sehr geschmeckt. Für meinen Partner hätte er stärker sein können. Ich fand ihn aber sehr lecker! Auch rösten sie selbst und würden den Kaffee auch für die heimische Maschine mahlen. Erwähnenswert war auch, dass beide Damen sehr gut Englisch gesprochen haben, was in anderen Geschäften bisher nicht so war.

From the moment you walk in, you know it’s not your typical beach-town coffee spot. The place has a super cool, unique skull-themed vibe that somehow feels both edgy and welcoming at the same time. It’s the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to hang out, relax, and soak it all in. Now let’s talk about the coffee — easily the best I’ve had in Mexico. I ordered an espresso turned into a long black, and it was perfect. Bold, smooth, rich, and incredibly well-balanced. No bitterness, no burnt taste — just clean, strong flavor done right. You can tell they know exactly what they’re doing behind the bar. My wife ordered a cappuccino, and it was just as impressive. The milk was textured beautifully with the perfect amount of foam — thick, creamy, and silky without overpowering the espresso. It looked great and tasted even better. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. The owner clearly cares about both the quality of the coffee and the overall experience. It’s rare to find a spot that nails both product and hospitality so well. El mejor café de México en Puerto Morelos. Veracruz, Chiapas y Oaxaca, lo fregon es que tienen su propia tostadora y además de tener bebidas de especialidad venden el grano recién tostado. Aparte el servicio es excelente, la música muy buena y el lugar fresco y acogedor. Me encanta. 💜

El mejor café de Puerto sin duda alguna. Han creado un espacio muy acogedor y las dos mujeres que trabajan allí (Jacky y Naomi) súper majas. También me ha encantado que había dos personas jugando un partido de ajedrez en el rincón y se puede ver que a mucha gente, lugareños igual que turistas, les encanta este cafecito que prepara un café excepcional. Además, el pastel de zanahoria está riquísimo y de dulzura perfecta.

I found Inmortal Berra de Café totally by accident while I was in Puerto Morelos and wow, what a find. I loved the coffee so much I had to go back before I left! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Alexis was amazing, super kind and took the time to explain all the different coffee types and how they roast their own beans right there. You can really tell they care about what they do. I got an iced vanilla latte with a pinch of cinnamon. Perfect amount of ice, milk and the milk is actually foamy.

Comfy and cozy with welcoming service. I also base it on the espresso. It was smooth and not bitter and its deep, rich roast is perfecto. I'll be back for sure. Well, I found it here at Inmortal Coffee Shop! The coffee is absolutely fantastic—smooth, rich, and perfectly crafted. Beyond the coffee itself, the shop offers a charming vibe with cute mugs, great stickers, and stylish t-shirts that I couldn’t resist checking out. The barista was the sweetest and made the whole experience even better. Bonus points for speaking fantastic English, which was super helpful. The location is incredibly convenient—right on the way to the airport with plenty of parking street and easy access. The shop itself is spotless and thoughtfully designed, with both cozy indoor seating and a lovely patio if you prefer to sip your coffee outside. Inmortal Coffee Shop is a must-visit if you’re in the area. This is where coffee lovers need to be!

Excellent coffee, roasted in house. They are super nice and welcoming with extensive knowledge and care for their product. The Oxacan cold brew was perfect, with a smoothness you don't normally get. The Chiapas espresso was the perfect balance of flavor. We bought some whole bean coffee because it was just that good. The cakes are a surprise find. The carrot cake was so delicous. A must stop for coffee lovers.

Hace unos días conocí el lugar, pedí un flat White y un pan, pienso que es un lugar bien ubicado, para ir de paso a quitarte el antojo de café, pero no para de verdad disfrutarlo. El espresso de mi café estaba sobreextraído, demasiado amargo y astringente, el pan regular y tiene pocas opciones. Al final vi que vendían café de especialidad en grano, me animé a comprarlo pero al abrirlo me percaté que los granos tenían tostado irregular y con defectos. Creo que el lugar tiene buen concepto pero puede mejorar la calidad de sus productos.

Amo el café pero después de ser mamá mi cuerpo ya no asimila el café igual :( así q tengo q pedir descafeinado :( cabe mencionar q hay muchas cafeterías en puerto q tienen descafeinado y es delicioso. Aquí por ser cafetería pensé habría y no no tienen opción. Es una lástima por además la chica del lugar comentó así como aquí solo tenemos café de verdad. Ok... No volvería con esa atención. Afortunadamente hay más cafés.
