I hardly ever leave reviews but this Denny's is just so great that I had to! We've been here only a handful of times but every time has been a great experience. I ordered some food to go the other night and while most other places in town are almost guaranteed to have a lengthy wait time, Denny's had our meals ready to go in about 20 minutes. Plus the staff had such a good energy and was so friendly when I walked in to pick up my order. It's always clean, staff is friendly and the food is good. Definitely the best Denny's I've ever been to by a long shot!

My girlfriend and I frequent this Denny’s and the quality of service and food are both always top notch. Most recently, we arrived and the restaurant was COMPLETELY packed. But, they still trucked through the day with smiles on their face and provided great service to all of the patrons regardless of how packed it was.

Services was awesome had a good dinner me my wife and our son server was amazing and very nice and the manager did a excellent job he walked to every table multiple time checking on people and making sure everything was perfect definitely going to go at least once or twice a week from here on out played the claw machine for the little one and won but it got stuck the whole staff did everything to make sure we got it out the manager even spent his own money to help them gave a dollar to our son so he could go again very awesome and very kind hearted

Tonight my daughter and my grandson and I went to Denny's to eat breakfast for dinner night! Everyone was so friendly and my grandson really took to the manger Chris who was a super nice guy! My husband & I came with our five year old son for dinner on a random Thursday night, something different, not much here in Royse City to choose from. We loved the food & service was top tier, our waiter was new but he was really sweet & checked on us frequently— the manager was over at our table quite a bit checking on us as well. The end of our visit we stopped by the claw machine where our prize got stuck on the claw, the crew did everything they could to help us get it down, to the point the manager gave us a $1 out of his own pocket to try to help the claw move the machine & then a 1$ to our little one so he could have a turn playing it as well. The atmosphere was awesome, it felt like being at home with friends! If you get a chance, I know it’s just a Denny’s but stop in & visit, get to know this lovely crew of people who have such big hearts & great service!

Food was delicious! We ordered the zesty nachos to start with (which are always our go-to appetizer), the slamburger (good ol’ classic) and the new Cali taco skillet (which was delicious). We finished with the brownie sundae for dessert! Service was great! Our server Laurie and the manager Chris were welcoming, warm and kind. We’ve been coming here for the last 14 years. Its always been an affordable favorite for our family.

The service is friendly and attentive, the food is always tasty and hot, and the restaurant is always clean with a relaxed, happy vibe. Plenty of parking out front. They put in extra effort lately with a bunch of USA 4th of July decorations, which shows they care to make the effort. Reasonable price, good menu options. Recommended.

I'm a fan of Denny's! This location has been great for my family! We have gotten to know a few of the workers here over the years, and they have all provided great service. This place is usually somewhat busy, but they can usually accommodate larger groups and are open late when other restaurants are closed. This location stays open 24/7 last time I checked. The food here is great. I enjoy eating breakfast anytime! They also have great options for lunch and dinner, but I like their breakfast menu and you can order from that anytime of the day. They also have gluten free options for those who are trying to steer clear of gluten. My wife likes their gluten free English muffin.

I was worried because of bad reviews on Yelp, but actually had a really great breakfast experience today. The Ham and Cheese sandwich was great, and my wife’s waffle was perfect. I even liked the lemonade that I got, it wasn’t the fountain machine kind of lemonade. My only criticism; the bacon was way too thin. It was like the type of bacon you would get on a bacon burger from jack in the box. Needed to be thicker.

We've had Rooster as a server several times and think she's great. I'm kicking myself for not getting the name of our server today because she was also top-notch! She has a pleasant demeanor, was attentive and thought of every little thing we might need (extra butter, jelly, etc) without us even needing to ask. Today we brought our 6 year old with us. The manager Chris came around to check on our table and my son made a little joke with him. Chris picked right up on it and they had a funny back-and-forth. As a mom, this really stands out to me as my talkative son often speaks to adults when we're out and they either ignore him or smile politely without engaging. Chris was super friendly and good-natured, leaving us all smiling as we walked out. Best Denny's ever! We'll definitely be back.

Straight up 10 out of 10 service! 👏 Our check came out with a foil rose 🌹 and my girls were treated to their favorite strawberry ice cream old school dish style! Just a fun great experience! And the food… wow! The cook did us so right. I’m not even a ranch dressing person, but I was practically licking the ramekin — it was that good! The Grand Slamwich was hands down the best I’ve ever had. My kids actually finished their entire plates (a first!), and my husband was literally drooling over how delicious everything was. I had the Lumberjack and switched out the hash browns for fruit and it was amazing!! The service here is awesome and the workers are very friendly. This has breakfast and dinner foods. On Tuesdays and Saturdays kids eat free from 4pm-10pm and they serve the Veterans and Active Service Members a 10% discount. I’ll be going back in the future!!! Definitely a family friendly place as well.

The server, Laurie, was attentive even though her section was full of hungry customers during peak hours. Our order was correct, fast, fresh and tasted exactly as we'd hoped.

Quick service, servers could use some polish but the atmosphere is warm. I got the Slam burger which was very good. Free refills of hot chocolate is always a blast. Lava Chocolate cake could use some more ice cream and didn't look nice but tasted good.

I know there’s still racism in the world but usually people are discrete about it not here. My family & I passed by to eat here & we were seated on the far right side of the restaurant with only a small fan working we thought must be their Ac is out keep in mind the right side when you fist come in was a nice white couple eating alone in that big area didn’t think much of it but we understood & still decided to eat there I myself work in the restaurant industry so I know how things work The waiters were unprofessional gossiping about another worker right by our table their conversation was louder then the one we were trying to have why I know what they were talking about once we finished & we ask where we could pay bc the sever didn’t say anything just gave us the ticket & walked away she said the front so we went once we get there a nice cold breeze hits all of us turns out the other side of the restaurant does have ac working very well I asked the lady why we got seated in the heat she told me it’s because they were sweeping so they couldn’t sit us there even doe there were a few couple there before & after we came in I could tell she didn’t know what else to tell me so I didn’t push her on it just wanted to let everyone know especially because I had my 2 year old daughter with us & yet they thought it was okay to still do what they did wouldn’t waste money here at all we will never be back

I saw GREAT reviews from the Royse Citizen Facebook page about how amazing this specific location was. Ordered through Uber Eats and got the "Zesty Nachos" for our kid. Chips are burnt and missing all the toppings besides shredded cheese. I did call and manager who offered to replace the nachos at a later date, but that kind of defeats the purpose. Also forgot our additional side of gravy, extra salsa, and biscuits and gravy. The toast was also burnt and full of holes. (I have pictures but am unable to add them to this post.)

Poor customer service. Curbside order was FIFTEEN minutes late and they didn’t seem like they were putting it in for a rush or apologetic. Can’t imagine what it’s like to dine in. To make matters worse, there was hair in 2 of our pancake orders and our hash browns were under cooked. I’ll go out of my way to another location going forward.

Very bad service and the most horrible Brisket sandwich in all Texas. In the whole sandwich it only had 6 small pieces of Brisket very hard and tasteless. It doesn't look anything like the sandwich shown in the photo on the menu. Which means that they have no quality control in the kitchen to ensure that a dish reaches the table with the quality expected. For the record, the place was not full so there is no justification for such a disaster. Yesterday is my first visit to this place and my last one. 👎
