Small place, but big on flavor! The burger was truly superb: the meat was big and juicy, cooked to perfection, the cheese melted perfectly, the bacon crispy, and the lettuce and tomato were super fresh. The service was fantastic: friendly and helpful! A pleasant discovery after a Saturday in the snow with the family!

We stopped after descending the Colle dell'agnello for an aperitif and a quick lunch. We had the tomino cheese with grilled vegetables, and it was fantastic. The owner was very friendly. Recommended.

Siamo passati oggi... X mangiare qlcosa.... All'entrata, c'era scritto una specie di menù,senza prezzi.... Il menù ,diceva.... Tagliere, agnolotti e stinco con contorno....Ci hanno servito... Ok,x il tagliere.... Ma... Il primo,ke abbiamo scelto... Non erano agnolotti... Ma dei tortelloni,con un ripieno,ke non si è neanche capito di cosa fosse... Con un po' di panna... Molto al dente e gommosi,senza parlare del prezzo.... Ke non sto a scrivere.... Credo ke non ci andrò più.....😔

Excellent bar for a cocktail with friends... with the change of management a disaster, inadequate glass without accompaniment (hazelnuts, pistachios, crisps, etc.), prices doubled, no menu with prices, atmosphere not at the best... opposite of the previous management... totally disappointed..!!!

Cold place (in the very literal sense of poorly heated). On a Sunday in December it's not the best. I order a Prosecco - at 11.30 - and am served a small bowl of chips. Maybe it could have been good in 1974, but today we expect something more. Toilet without possibility to close the door.

Buffet di ferragosto a €25 a persona (compreso bevanda) a dir poco scandaloso... Locale datato in pessime condizioni, toilette senza la chiave, cibo scadente, personale incapace... vergognoso!!!! È incredibile che possano esistere ancora dei posti così.. Devo assegnare una stella perché non è previsto il dare stelle con segno...

December, we went to this bar for lunch but despite it being right on time we were told that the kitchen was almost out of everything, we settled for two polentas and a portion of arrosticini (€12 for 6 arrosticini, a steal), the service was practically non-existent and we were given two placemats even though there were three of us, because according to the person who served us with the arrosticini, neither cutlery nor a placemat is expected. The two polentas arrived accompanied by a few pieces of cheese and immediately got cold since it was colder inside the restaurant than outside. You can't improvise as a restaurateur, and when you ask a diner for a certain price, as a customer I expect to receive top-notch service. This service wasn't there, since when we asked for some bread, it wasn't brought because it was out. However, we were served a single sweet roll for three, reheated and burned. I don't recommend this place, not even to Back to the Future fans. Everything is stuck in the '80s, poorly maintained and even poorly managed. Being a restaurateur is an art; they should take better care of their customers.

Incredible but true 11:25 AM My wife and I sit outside and order two beers as an aperitif. Once the "pseudo" waitress (pseudo, to avoid being vulgar) brings the beers, without even an olive, we ask for some appetizers. The "pseudo" waitress's response: "It's not aperitif time yet, so I can't bring you anything." I won't go any further; I'll leave the comment to you. It's all true! Now I understand why it was the only empty place in all of Sampeyre. I'd like to give some heartfelt advice to the owner and his pseudo-waitress: Change your job while you still can, do something else, but don't run a bar in the center of Sampeyre. In fact, don't run any kind of bar.

August 16, 2025, lunchtime. I ordered a spritz for €5 and a Crodino for €3, without any appetizers. I asked for an explanation, and they told me that prices had gone up at other bars too! I pointed out that a spritz with appetizers was €3.50 at all the bars! The Bar dell'Angelo was an icon in Sampeyre! In fact, it's dying out quickly. It's a shame.

We ordered three gin and lemon sodas. The gin was nonexistent, so we asked for the glasses to be remade. And the only response we received was that the glass was well made. We've been coming to Sampeyre for over 40 years, and taking over the bar is a disaster. When you don't know the bartending profession, you don't take over this type of business. I understand why people are deserting this establishment. Unfriendly, unbusinesslike, and dishonest. They should stop looking down on customers when their dining room and terrace are almost empty. Furthermore, I've never seen a bar or restaurant without being able to lock the restrooms. I can understand that when the restrooms aren't in the establishment, you have to ask for the keys to access the restroom. You should invest in a lock for your customers' privacy. Personally, I had no intention of leaving with the toilet bowl, which was of very questionable cleanliness. We won't be back... it's a shame.

Very cold welcome. My children and wife were very poorly received on market day. I'll never set foot in that bar again for a cappuccino. A word to the wise, bye-bye.
