Malik’s always come through with delicious cheese steaks. They are made to order always fresh hot and seasoned perfectly. If you like cheese make sure you get extra since they put the cheese under the meat it doesn’t look cheesy. I went on a Sunday about 4pm and the Mexican lady who made my food was awesome she made my food with love. (FYI) I didn’t know Malik was Malik Rose who played with the spurs.

I was only in town for a day and wanted to try something we don’t have back home in Utah. Mando and Jeniece were super friendly and welcoming, and they gave me great recommendations on what to try. If you haven’t had a “Water Ice” yet, definitely get one — it’s worth it!

Probably the best spot in San Antonio for a proper cheesesteak. Bread is good and it holds the meat and cheese well. Fries are excellent. Can’t ask for anything more. Out door seating is great and we were able to watch a game while dining. Lathe shared spot is cool and provides options for everyone. Lots of activities too. Will definitely be back next time I’m in San Antonio.

Well, we thought we would give cheesesteaks another try. We were really disappointed by our experience in Philly of all places(home of the cheesesteak.). We gave Malik's a shot today for lunch and I have to say if Malik Rose played basketball as well as he makes cheesesteaks, he should have been an MVP every year in the NBA. Great taste and flavor and Vincent was really nice and helpful. He also made us some fresh fries because the 1st order was cool. Definitely going back.

I always get the bacon ranch steak Philly but sometimes I get the Philly fries and let me tell yall both hit like crazy!!!! It's always fresh, hot and flavorful. It's in a food truck spot called the rose bush and they have BYOB (bring your own bottle or beer ) The atmosphere is so welcoming and nice. The service is always friendly and fast.

This place is really far from where I live, and I went at 10PM on Saturday evening. The staff are super awesome, and I would come back again just based on how friendly and helpful they were! They were super patient with first time patrons as well. I dig the food truck vibe they have, and they were blasting some nice 90’s R&B. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating. It was surprisingly pleasant outside so that’s where we sat. I ordered the Original Philly, no green peppers add lettuce, tomato, Mayo. They have zero issue accommodating customizations. My gf ordered the Cheesesteak salad and we shared a large order of Parm and Herb Fries. She also got a Mango Philly Water Ice with Chamoy. The service was very fast, and the food was piping hot. My sandwich was spot on and took me back to my visits to Philly, eating Pats and Gino’s, and Tony Luke’s. The salad was good and the fries were legit. They provided dipping sauces for the fires as well. My gf love me the Mango Philly Water Ice. All in all it was a good experience and I may end up trying the one closer to the house. Good food and good vibes, and a great place for late night and after party munchies.

Stopped by for a quick lunch while in the area on a weekend. Service was very friendly and helpful. Good variations of a Cheesesteak from a traditional to about 10 different options. We ordered a Malik, OG, Elder, and a small kids pizza. Everything was made fresh so took about 15 minutes for all the orders. Sandwiches were large and overflowing with meat. All were good. Overall good food and service.

I had to try this spot because I heard the Philly cheesesteak is fire… and I have to say it’s very good (better than the ones I’ve had in Philly). I like that i can order at a kiosk but the employees came out to check in with us. We started with the parmesan fries - they tasted very fresh and the seasoning was yummy but I prefer crispier fries. My daughter loved the cheese sauce. We all got the original, it is loaded with well-seasoned shaved meat and sautéed onions. Next time I’ll likely add more cheese on top because I like it cheesy.

Really nice staff and cool outdoor seating area. There are tons of tables and we came near closing time, so there was no lineup at all. I think because we came close to closing time, our food wasn't as good as it should be. The fries were unfortunately not hot and not crispy. They did have lots of parmesan and seasoning though! Me and my bf both ordered the Malik. It was a good sized portion with lots of meat and mushrooms. And it was hot too! But it was really salty for us.

This was the saddest cheese steak I've ever had. Why is there no cheese on this thing? There is nothing underneath the meat either, just mediocre meat and onions, I can barely see the mushrooms in this thing.

So I haven been here in a while, I live close so decided hey a Philly on a Friday night sounds good. I order an original and one of the others that had some other items added. 20 minutes after I order still nothing except everyone who ordered before me, about 3-4 who ordered after me and several uber drivers I ask about my order, which then the guy checks and says oh it’s a little complicated it should be soon… pretty sure they forgot to make my food… Another 15 minutes goes by and several other people who came after were served I finally got my food… And of course they forgot to add the cheese on the original “Philly cheesesteak”…. Like seriously, and it was to go so I didn’t even know till I got home… Then, the meat on the original was crazy salty to go with it all… So anyways, won’t be back, definitely a lot of better options in the area to say the least… (especially when paying $32 for 2 basic Philly and a small fry… smh)
