The service was great the moment we walked in as a family of 5 (infant included). Usually we get looks as a big family, but we were greeted right away with smiles and from servers/bartenders. The space was bigger than I thought lots of seating options. They had options for our picky children and modified as needed. The kids meal was huge and came with desert. We had the matcha tiramisu and woah that was delicious! Our family gives JINYA Ramen Bar a 10/10.

This was one of the best ramen restaurants I’ve ever been to. Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff. We sat at the bar because the wait was 20 mins they do get busy so book your reservation! Jen the bartender took care of us at the bar and was so attentive, kind and gave us recommendations. We got the chefs special and the broth was perfect! Absolutely amazing place! Took our 3 kids here (12, 9, and 4) and they were all blown away with the kid's meal. It includes so much and they all left full and happy. JINYA Ramen Bar has such an incredible vibe the moment you walk in—great music, warm lighting, and the most inviting aroma of spices floating through the air. It instantly sets the tone for a great meal. Our server, Alisa, made the experience even better. She was extremely helpful and welcoming. She asked if we had been there before, and since it was our first time, she immediately offered to walk us through the menu. Her friendliness and knowledge made ordering so much easier. We started with drinks, and the presentation alone was worth it. We ordered an Old Fashioned, and when they brought it to the table, they lit it up and smoked the glass right in front of us. The flavor was just as impressive—smooth, smoky, and perfectly balanced. We also had a green tea lychee lemonade, which was made tableside as well. Refreshing, slightly sweet, and beautifully crafted. For food, I ordered the birria ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles had the perfect texture, and the meat and vegetables were tender and well-seasoned. Every bite felt comforting and satisfying. We finished with desserts: the matcha tiramisu and both the mochi green tea and chocolate. The tiramisu was creamy with just the right matcha kick, and the mochi was soft, chewy, and delicious. Overall, JINYA delivered an amazing dining experience from start to finish—excellent food, great drinks, wonderful service from Alisa, and impressive presentation. Highly recommend

My first time here. It was not my husbands first time. He actually introduced me to this place considering it sits 3 min down from where his work site is at currently. We came in a Sunday right after lunch time peak. About 15 min wait for 2 people. A little disorganized on the wait list, indoor is a bit chaotic, hard to hear your group as you are talking, and our waiter was okay. Nothing special but was not terrible either. Up to par. Food? 1000/10 on each dish we tried. Appetizers: had the takoyaki (a bit too much on the mayo, they can reduce it personally), spicy tuna tacos (flavorful!) and the shrimp tempura (my fav out of all!). For our entree: shared the premium tonkantsu red and ordered extra garlic to add. spice level a 2 and it was ENOUGH. I love spice and it was perfect to still be able to enjoy. Will we, I come back? Yes, indeed.

Sky was amazing! She was pretty busy at the bar but still found a way to make our experience outside great. The staff turned on the heaters for us and turned down the music outside so we could talk with one another a little better. Everyone was extremely accommodating and exceptionally kind. Also the Tiramisu looks like a Minecraft Grass Block which made me really happy.

I absolutely love coming here! In the three weeks I’ve been in San Antonio, I think I’ve stopped by at least once a week — that’s how good it is. Every visit has been consistently great, from the food to the service. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Jocelyn, our server on several visits, is fantastic. She’s attentive, kind, and really pays attention to detail — you can tell she genuinely cares about providing great service. Rachel, the manager, is also wonderful and always checks in to make sure everything is perfect. Bryant has helped us too, and he’s just as friendly and professional. It’s clear that this team takes pride in what they do and truly creates a warm, enjoyable atmosphere. Now, the food — absolutely amazing! The JINYA Tonkotsu Black is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced, and the pork buns are so tender and delicious they practically melt in your mouth. They also offer mocktails, which is such a great touch for those who don’t drink alcohol. I highly recommend trying the J-Girl — it’s refreshing, beautifully balanced, and pairs perfectly with the ramen. If you’re in San Antonio and craving incredible ramen with outstanding service, JINYA is the place to go!

The most delicious ramen in San Antonio! I ordered the premium tonkatsu red ramen, level 3 spicy, and it was very hot. I spoke with the manager, and he kindly changed my broth to level 0. As always Jinya has the best food! We love the spicy chicken ramen, and the portions are so big we can share. Some may be able to eat a whole bowl by themselves but we can’t. And that’s not a complaint. We haven’t had anything we don’t like here. And Mathew our waiter was great! Very attentive, asked all the right questions and got our order right, we couldn’t tell he was new! Thanks for an enjoyable evening buddy!

Mostly pretty cool. Hostess was unpleasant. Wanted to put us at a tiny table around a corner in an empty restaurant. Kinda started the whole thing on the wrong foot. Ask for a different table got some attitude so we just sat down where we wanted. Place is beautiful though. Server was good. Food was solid. Looked great, smelled great, tasted decent. Dessert was weird. Looked cool, tasted meh... points for presentation though. Might go back, might not.
