The girls night roll was good, had an interesting combination of flavors and it was well presented. The bento box was surprisingly big and flavourful✨ Chicken karaage was small but on point. The servers were pretty friendly and the seating is comfortable

My favorite sushi place, I’ve been going for a while now and it never disappoints. My favorite it’s the protein Sashimi cucumber roll. The staff is very friendly which makes me go back every time I’m craving sushi.

Holy moly their sashimi is so good even as takeout! And their basic rolls like Caterpillar and Rainbow were delicious! Far from basic. I'll be back!

This is a must for great food at an affordable price. Sushi is delicious, ramen is bomb! And their sides are amazing, their cucumber salad was life changing 😅 service is great and very attentive. Parking can be a pain but definitely recommend the effort.

Great spot. I usually get bluefin with or without rice. Chicken teriyaki good but spicy. I also had the Washington roll which was excellent. Food is quick

Love this place, great value for money. I have been here probably 20 times and I love their consistency. The fish and ingredients are always very fresh, and the rolls are always the same size/taste. It’s definitely my to go to sushi spot if you haven’t figured that out yet. The salmon nigiri here is the best in San Diego imo. And the best part is that it doesn’t break the bank. You actually get a big piece of fish! It’s awesome. Service is acceptable, more on the good side but there’s some flagging involved. Other than that, everybody is very nice. Make sure to get the Asahi Superdry, best Japanese beer, since they have it here. The one downside I’d say this place has is the acoustics of the restaurant, I think it tends to amplify sounds/people’s voices, so on a busy night, you can’t hear the person next to you. And because they’re so good, they tend to get busy on most nights. But that’s shouldn’t be enough to keep you away, look at this nigiri:

While exploring San Diego, we stumbled upon a quaint Japanese restaurant on 30th Street. The cuisine was exceptional, notably the large and delectable edamame, the gyoza which surprised us by being fried instead of steamed, boasting a delicious filling and crunchy texture. My combination plate impressed, featuring succulent chicken katsu, a fresh salad with outstanding dressing, and the miso soup a must, making it a dining experience worth repeating!

We love this place. Best sushi place. Never disappoints. There spicy garlic edamame. Summer rolls. El fuego you definitely have to add lemon slices it's a game changer. My man had the sexy and Washington rolls. Our daughter loves the white rice and shrimp tempura. Also the soft shell crab appetizer is awesome .The Spicy calamari is also very good. You want good quality Sushi great atmosphere this is your place.

One of the best parts of visiting San Diego was eating here. Got a few rolls including the Leo roll and everything was amazing! Fast and friendly service as well. When I visit again, I’ll be coming back 🍣

I have been coming here for a few years and this was the first time I ate at the restaurant. The sushi is delicious! I ordered the crunchy shrimp roll and the California roll. My friend ordered the tuna and something else (I can't remember what 🙃). The servings are very generous and there was plenty left over for the next day. The service was outstanding. Several servers checked in on us while we ate without being overbearing, which was quite nice. I strongly recommend Riki Sushi. Great food, awesome service, and excellent prices. ♡

It is small but we got there right before 6pm and we're seated right away party of 4. We ordered no joke 14 rolls. They were ALL GREAT. It was fresh and great portions (8 pieces average) we got all our rolls and miso soup and edamame and beer for my husband and brother in law AND sake for them. For 200 including tip. Which is not bad at all and same price in my town for all you can eat WITHOUT drinks. So I think it's a great deal and we were in and out in under an hour. I will be back it was delicious and well worth every penny.

Riki Sushi has been a staple in the North Park area for over a decade now. The staff is super welcoming, friendly, and it’s quite obvious that they care for their customers, and more so their regulars. They have a great selection of food, the fish is super super fresh, and the rolls they have a great variety. Drinks, bento boxes, everything is 10/10, love you guys and hope you see you prosper.

Food always great, service always great, atmosphere.... There was a table that was being very obnoxiously loud with some vulgar comments and discussion. It affected the atmosphere of more than two tables and making them uncomfortable. Thankfully one of the waiters advocated and told them nicely to lower their voices. Long story short.. thankful to the waiter who told them to lower their voices as they demanded their check right away and left immediately. 5 star atmosphere maintained. Thank you!

They have the best bento boxes here we cannot get enough of their Panko, shrimp, and sweet potato! Their Giza is amazing as well. The sushi that we have tried there has been delicious to this point. My only issue with here is that we have unfortunately both times had very slow and unfriendly service. We have returned because the food is delicious and the price point is reasonable.

Amazing sushi at a reasonable price. The wait for a table can be a little bit long on the weekends but the food comes out super fast. I love the Washington roll.

I have visited this place often and have never been let down. The customer service is friendly and the food is priced fairly. I generally always order their combo rolls and always enjoyed them. It’s a great spot to eat at for dinner and convenient to other venues in the area. If you like sushi you won’t be let down visiting this place.

Not a bad sushi joint. Reasonable prices, good rolls and conveniently located. They get crowded at dinner time, especially on the weekends, but the wait has never been for more than 20 minutes for me. All the rolls I've had are good. We usually get 1-2 that we always get and try 1-2 things that sound interesting that day. This time, we tried the Quatro Futomaki, which was on the specials board (not listed on the menu) and the soft shell crab. I liked the Quatro Futomaki; it's a rolled up of 4 different fish, served with Kizami wasabi (yesssss! freakin love this!). The soft shell crab was also great! It was nicely battered and fried, but didn't feel that greasy. I liked that they came out slightly pumped up, whereas in many places they tend to be deflated, and when you bit into it, you get soft fluffy crab meat into your mouth. I highly recommend this dish if you like crabs. It can be very, very loud in here. It may be the layout or the structure, but it always feels like voices are enhanced inside and when you have a table of slightly intoxicated patrons, well, it can feel like you're eating in front of a loud speaker.

Hmm…. They closed the kitchen before Closing 9pm. I walked in and the 2 servers saw me and 1 of them went in the back and came back out and said “We just closed the Kitchen, Sorry” They had Empathy to Tell me the News but that was kinda messed up. Anyways, I asked gave Special Instructions my Salmon skin Handroll to be Crispy and it Still came out Soggy…

This was my second time here. I lived in Tokyo for 2 years and have visited Japan another half dozen times. I speak Japanese. This was the worst sushi I have had in San Diego. I don't remember it being this bad the first time (I think I got the vegetarian options or something else the first time), but it was pretty disappointing on fish quality and freshness. The toro (sashimi plate X3) tasted fishy, the rainbow roll didn't look great or taste great. The spicy salmon roll was just ok. The miso soup was fine, and that was pretty much it. There's not a ton of competition in North Park for sushi, but I'll be making the longer drive to go back to my go-to in Convoy Kearny Mesa or even Mission Hills next time.
