Tried the duck sandwich in the past and just had the pork roast bowl —- SO good! Great value and delicious. Will be coming back. Friendly staff too
Visited on Christmas Eve and had the BEST vegan banh mi of my life! I love that I could just order my food "made vegan" and they know how to adjust the sandwich accordingly. It came out very fast (but keep in mind no one was there because of the holiday) plus I was amazed at the price. High quality and great value, especially considering the sandwiches weren't small. Takeout only but the LinkedIn Lobby/Equator coffee shop is nearby and perfect spot for eating. Will absolutely be back!
Delicious fresh food and very affordable. $11 Fresh Bowl can make 2 lunches for me. It’s take out only, but i’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Highly recommend!
so blessed to live close to this place... i love their shrimp noodle salad so much and order it at least once a week ps you can always ask for large portion to have more noodles in it!🤍👍👑
I got the pop combo and I really liked it. Bread was perfect, very flavorful and fresh, and great portion. I’ll be back for sure!
Decided to give their BBQ pork banh mi a try during lunch hour. I can see through their kitchen that everything is freshly made. There was a line, but service was quick. The slices of pork were sufficient for such a big sandwich. Everything tastes really good, bread could be a little softer.
Omg thier Bahn My sandwiches are freaking DELICIOUS!!!!!!! I CAN EAT THESE EVERYDAY!!! The size is huge. The family who run this place are so sweet and super fast omg yesss win win winning!!!! The Thai ice is the bomb yum yummy yummy in my tummy
Every big, wholesome bite through the crisp exterior of the French baguette into the soft bread and tender chicken of the 5 Spices Banh My was well-balanced and complemented by the spicy jalapeños, vinegary carrots and daikon, creamy mayo, and mellow and earthy pâté.
Five spice chicken bahn mi is so good, longer waits during weekday lunch but worth it
Great affordable lunch option. No seating at the venue anymore. Bahn mí with duck and tofu salad bowl were good and came with a solid amount of protein. Long line but quick to make the food.
Tasty fresh banh mi! I prefer roast pork. One banh mi is enough to feed a person. For the price point their food quality is perfect. No wonder why it's so popular! - Good Vietnamese coffee (although the coffee isn't as strong as the authentic ones, I still found it pleasant). - Thai tea was nice but a little sweet for my taste. (Again, still liking it). I won't recommend their rolls however. The portion is big if that's what you are after, but other Vietnamese places I tried had obviously better quality.
Duck sandwich was almost perfect. Great crusty bread (could have been a tad softer/fluffier on the inside), lots of cilantro (yes plz), and juicy tender duck (wouldn't have complained if there was a tad bit more meat). Overall, wonderfully amazing sandwich for the price (plz don't raise the price). Not quuuite filling enough to be a whole meal...just FYI. Still worth 5 stars. For sure.
Yum. Flavor-filled! Cheap!! I walked by here at 12:45p and the line was way out the door, so on my return walk at 2:15 I stopped in for a super tasty pork banh mi sandwich on fresh crusty bread. You need more than one napkin for this juicy meal. Spicy too!
I come to DragonEats specifically for their pork banh mi. It’s the restaurant I go to most often in SF because it’s just such a delicious sandwich!

I love their pork banh mi. The ratio is always on point and they season their meat very well. 10/10 would recommend! 😋

To start, this is only a takeout place. No sitting area here, although I saw chairs hanging upside down. Went on a weekday around 1 and there were 5 people before me waiting for their orders. The service was very fast. The menu is small with one veggie/vegan option and 5-6 meat options. Similar options available for sandwiches, salads and bowls. I ordered Teriyaki Tofu Vegan Banh Mi. This was the only option in any variety. Sandwich was good. Tofu was juicy but with hints of oilyness. Had mixed feelings while eating it. Veggies were cruncy inside but was missing some kind of sauce in it. Overall, a good sandwich and can be tried once.
It's a 3.5 for me! The banh mis make lunch quick and easy but the flavor isn't fully there. I personally don't like how the banh mis are assembled because the meat is on one side and the veggies are on the other so you never really get everything together in one bite unless you have a big ole mouth haha. Let's break down the banh mi! - Bread: Soft, chewy, and has a crunch.. but I want the crumbs to get everywhere and cut the roof of my mouth ya know? Ha, I kid. - Pickled Daikon & Carrots: I never know if I'm gonna get the old stuff where it's already browning or the good stuff. It's been a mix. - Cilantro & Jalapeño: Can't really F up here right? I do wish the jalapeños were spicy though - I want it to burn! - Meat (I've tried the roast pork and 5 spice chicken on separate occasions): Both are just lacking in flavor. The meat is also shredded and I'm not sure if that's intentional. Both the pork and chicken kinda tasted the same because it tastes like nothing. I seem to get too much meat juice too and that just makes my sandwiches soggy. - Pate: It's tasty and I wish there was more of this stuff but it also always seem kinda wet? Maybe because of the meat juices. Overall, this place is close to my office so it makes an easy lunch but I only go once in a long while.
cute takeout-only place for a quick Vietnamese bite! duck banh mi is only available tuesdays and thursdays.

This is an above average Vietnamese fast food take out place. The food is generally very fresh (except once I got pork that was kind of old). I have tried many items. Some are quite good (Teriyaki Tofu Roll, Shrimp Salad with Green Papaya, Five Spices Chicken Salad with Cabbage and Papaya, Roast Pork Salad with Cabbage and Papaya, Roasted Duck Bánh Mỳ, Five Spices Chicken Bánh Mỳ, Pork Meatballs Bánh Mỳ, Roasted Pork Bánh Mỳ, Shrimp Bowl, Roast Pork Bowl, Vietnamese Coffee, Thai Iced Tea). Others are only okay (Shrimp Roll, Chicken & Avocado Roll, Teriyaki Tofu Salad with Cabbage and Papaya, Garlic Butter Chicken Breast Salad with Cabbage and Papaya, Sardine Bánh Mỳ, Pop Combo Bánh Mỳ, Garlic Butter Chicken Breast Bowl, Five Spices Chicken Bowl, Teriyaki Tofu Bowl). Service is efficient and professional overall, although one guy looked at me like a deer in the headlights when I suggested that they put my take out order in a reusable plastic container I had brought. Their posted hours say they close at 4:30, but they closed by 4:00 on a Wednesday - not very professional.

They recommended the 5 spices chicken. I didn’t expect it to be so unbelievably spicy without a warning. It was soooooo spicy, I couldn’t eat it at all. I brought it home, opened it up and found a full chopped up pepper with seeds and everything inside. The bread was nice and crispy, but there wasn’t enough ingredients so I had to take off the top and some of the sides, as didn’t want to just bite into dry bread.
