Went on a Sunday afternoon and was so impressed with everything. This waterfront spot is definitely lowkey but the food and drinks were amazing. They have a rotating slushy drink, currently pineapple margarita, which was amazing. Definitely worth checking out!

Delicious food in iconic SF spot The Ramp is an iconic SF spot in historic Dogpatch with ambience of the old port of SF that has its own nostalgia. The food has some of my favorites that I find delight to only have at the Ramp. My go to on my solo trips is the Mango Aguachile. The shrimp ceviche on it is exquisite along with the habanero salsa base. When I take visitors, my go to is the Molcajete. It’s delicious and really an incredible flavor as a. shared dish while one soaks in the sun and ambience. I also go for the Bloody Mary that I find the best recipe. It has won acclaims. The bar makes a wonderful Mezcal Paloma if you ask for it with Mezcal. For me the Ramp is my happy spot in SF, enjoying the sun, watching the water, and enjoying a slice of the historical port of SF.

Great place, amazing views and the food is good. The place gets chilly in the evening so best to bring a coat. The sunset looks amazing and its soo chill. The staff is friendly and fast. Nice place for an afternoon gig with friends but the water facing side gets packed pretty quickly so its best you get there early if you dont want to miss a table on the side facing the water.

Holy smokes has the ramp reopened and revamped! Amazing patio setting, great place to ride your bike or scooter lock up and have an amazing meal. Staff is super friendly, always helpful and very patient. The food is equally as good as the service easily pleasing even the pickiest eaters! While the food decent, the industrial pier view makes for a unique waterfront dining experience. - Oysters on the Half Shell fulfill a fix, but are neither super briny nor creamy - Hamburger is what it is - Caesar Salad gets the basics right, down to the anchovy filets Come for the live salsa every Saturday or the electronic music day party every First Friday.

I will say I haven't had enough plates, I only had the burger and fries. Very basic nothing crazy. I got the burger with the lobster tail. Had mimosas as well and tasted great. I'd come back to this place as the menu does have a range of options.

We stopped here for lunch, hoping it’d be sunnier on this side of the city and we were in luck. This is about two blocks down from Chase center adjacent to a boat yard, but has a nice dog friendly deck on the water looking out on “Crane Cove” with views across to Oakland. The food was pretty good although the menu was rather short. Eggs, burgers or salads. We hadn’t been in this part of town since Chase center went up. It’s quit an attractive area to stroll along the bay.

Casual outdoor dining so make sure you wear appropriate clothes depending on the weather. The food was good and service was great. The only thing I didn't like was they give you a little small container for your condiments and if you want more they charge you an additional fee for every extra condiment which doesn't make sense because you have a whole big tray of fries with this one small container.

Had a very relaxing late lunch. Great view of small beach from the patio. Had a bowl of clam chowder and a mind haze beer on tap. Both very good. Will definitely be back with friends.

Ate at The Ramp on a Tuesday around 2pm and were sat pretty quickly after arriving. We were a large group as we were all visiting a family member at UCSF hospital. It's an easy walk from the hospital - no need to find new parking - and the fresh air was much needed. There is indoor seating, patio seating in the front, as well as patio seating on the water. I was thankful the air was fresh and it was a pleasant visit. Food seemed good for those that ordered. Service was excellent. I would come again if in the area. Bathrooms were dirty like a park outhouse, just as a side note.

Location, location, location. The chicken sandwich was plain and the habanero ceviche (aguachile de pescado?) was okay but nothing fabulous and not spicy at all. With drinks we averaged $25/person. It was such a beautiful setting, though, that I forgot about the food. Great place to catch up with people and enjoy the scenery.

We walked over from UCSF at 12:30 for lunch. The hostess wasn't readily available, but we were able to choose our seating from options. We ordered calamari and clam chowder in a bread bowl. My daughter had a hard time getting a drink. They were out of Fanta, and tge sprite they brought was just seltzer water. They then stated they were out of sprite. It was a beautiful day and it was such a nice relaxed place to have some good food. The hubs was trying to work, however had issues. There is no wifi available for customers.

I took my friend on Wednesday to the Ramp at 2pm , having bragged to him about the cool location, vibe and it being an insiders spot not a tourist destination. We found a table, the place was almost empty of patrons, and waited… and waited… and waited. I finally got up and walked over to a server and excusing myself asked if we could get menus. I was rudely dismissed. Thinking she would surely bring menus eventually we waited another 5 minutes. Embarrassed for my friend, who’d heard me hype the place, we left. Someone needs to do some hospitality training.
