Amici’s pizza and salads helped us get through the 2020 pandemic. We ordered just about every week. They delivered to our door with great care. They bake the most delicious pizza and prepared the greatest salads. Their food is consistently excellent and I don’t ever recall an off-night. We appreciated the staff as well. Just tonight I ordered pickup and the salad was missing the bacon and the rolls. So I called them and they made it right. They sent out a fresh salad and rolls with a super apology - a slice of delicious cheesecake. Although they expanded over the years, they still haven’t lost their small business vibe and great customer service.

We were in early on a Monday. All SALADS 1/2 OFF! Amici's pizza is the best, thin crust and the best pepperoni. Anthony the Waiter is fantastic and will greet you with the BIGGEST smile!

I frequent the Amici’s Pizzeria in Vacaville, CA. Luv the pizza. Their thin crust, oven flamed fired pizza is so good. So when I was in San Rafael for the night and realized there was an Amici’s close by, I definitely made it a point to order a pizza. I called in an order for pickup. I ordered my favorite… pepperoni pizza. It was delicious. Plus the customer service was fantastic. The pizza is baked in an open flame pizza oven. The pizza from this Amici’s had a thin crust; it was light with a soft chew. The pizza was beautifully lightly blistered. The pepperoni is so good, great quality and taste. The pepperoni curled up into little cup shapes with crisp edges. They use quality mozzarella as well. Overall just a darn good pizza. The customer service is great. Everyone I spoke to was kind, outgoing, and helpful. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, as are most of the downtown eateries. Another thing to note is the parking situation; there are metered street parking and a paid city lot around the corner down a block on C and 5th Street.

July 2023: We went out for lunch with my Father and enjoyed a veggie pizza 🍕 and the hot grilled broccoli. In the past decade, I've always eaten at the two Amici's in San Francisco (Lombard Street and King Street were my go to places). Really like the sauce on Amici's pizza! 👍 Unfortunately, the King Street closed due to the pandemic ☹️. But glad I found the one in San Rafael! The hot broccoli 🥦 was cooked perfectly. Love the garlic and lemon with red chili flakes. Pizza was loaded with ingredients and the crust was nice and crispy. Service was very friendly and attentive. Thank you for a great lunch!

This is my go to when I come to town for pizza. I like thin crust pizza and the New Haven White Clam pizza is my standard order with some type of salad. I have had various salads they are all delicious and fresh. The picture is from a previous take out. The standard salad is big enough for two to share. I went with a colleague and we shared the antipasto salad and each ordered our own pizza. I have tried the meat balls and sausage and enjoyed both of them. I go to the clam pizza because it is not something you can get everywhere. The food is fantastic, the service good, lots of people do take away or delivery.

Been looking for a true New York style pizza in California for years, finally found one. This pizza is legit. Best pizza I’ve ever had in California, bar none! The spinach salad was also excellent . Rodrigo was our server, and he was friendly, courteous, professional and sincere; a genuinely nice and professional guy. Old photos of the NY Jets, Mickey Mantle, Wilt Chamberlain, grace the walls. Will definitely return!

Amazing pizza! The staff was very polite and tried to accommodate our dietary restrictions as best they could. I have to knock off a star since their alternative options were limited, and the interior could use a makover.

I am a PIZZA monster! Hah! I love Pizza, and I must say that Amici's is excellent. I've had both take-out and eaten at this restaurant, and enjoyed both occasions. Pizza itself is delicious, and the crust specifically has that smoky charred taste. Very good!

an upscale strip-mall houses this moderate-scale wood-fired pizza joint with upscale prices. they have an excellent section of high-quality, thin-crusted, crispy pizzas as well as very good lasagna and other pasta dishes. my favorite salad is the spinach salad. the antipasto was only mediocre, but its large portion size may for one of the few values for the money.

They obviously dont know what detroit style pizza is. Gotta go to detroit and get back in lab. Sauce gotta be ladled on top. Detroit style my favorite style pizza and i was dissapointed. U can call it sicilian maybe but its not detroit

I have loved this place for over 20 years although I don't go very often maybe 2 or 3 times a year now but I used to order all the time when I was working right down the street which was over 10years ago and I will.say that my.most recent visit earlier this month was the worst. The service was ok, nothing special and we ordered takeout. It appeared the staff wasn't thrilled about not getting tipped that much, really?? It was takeout and we ordered online which was a horrible experience as well there online ordering system NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED ASAP. It was almost impossible to submit and when I tried to tell the staff he barely listened or even attempted to care abt. the issue was or that I even had an issue. The food was nowhere near as good as even a year ago and they completely screwed my daughters order almost making it inedible for her but I was able to remove the ingredients that weren't supposed to be in it and add the one that was missing but only because we had taken it home to eat. The croutons in the cesar were soggy and they were my absolute favorite thing abt. AMICIS CESAR SALAD!! My friend used to work here many years ago, her name was Jessie and she was the best and its too bad the hiring mgr. Now isn't able to find staff like her. If what I experienced wasn't a fluke and this is Amicis now then I guarantee this restaurant won't be around much longer. I expect most of their customers are return patrons versus actually securing any new or repeat business. You have a good thing don't blow it!!

I ordered a small Amici’s combo pizza with a garden salad. This cost me $40 on DoorDash (this does not include tip). I ordered this “No bacon”. Not only did it have bacon it did NOT have mushrooms or black olives. I literally hate bacon so much I didn’t eat this pizza. I meant to take it to work but kept forgetting so the whole pizza went in the trash, minus a bite of the crust. I ordered from here thinking it would be better quality than the other lower cost pizza places, I ordered at 4:30pm on a Wednesday- a low volume time so it should have been an easy task… I was wrong… I basically paid $40 for a salad that didn’t have enough dressing.

Their chicken wings were covered in feathers. So gross.

Sent $100 on an order that I had delivered to a hotel. We had pasta and dessert but they sent no cutlery to eat it with. So I called to request them and was told me that I needed to request them during the order but there isn't an option to do that on their website. For the price you would hope the people working there had some kinda of common sense.

I love this restaurant and so you could imagine my disappointment when I received the worst service I've ever received last night. I have worked at plenty of restaurants, so I tend to be more understanding of things like this. However, this is just comically bad service. I ordered takeout and was quoted an hour for delivery. Two whole hours went by with nothing, so I called and they told me I'd have to wait another 30 minutes for my food to arrive (I live 20 minutes away). It took 2.5 hours to get my food delivered! When I called, there was no apology for the delay, no offer of correction of this mistake, nothing other than "well we are slammed, what do you expect?" Atrocious customer service and my family and I have agreed we are done ordering from here. This restaurant lost a very loyal group of customers.

I had spaghetti with meatballs delivered, and it made me so sick I almost passed out. The stomach pain and vomiting went on for 4 hours in the middle of the night. The worst experience ever. I was told by two of my friends that they had the same food poisoning from this place. The manager asked me to show him my receipt what a joke

Ordered through Door Dash. Paid $11 for a Cesar salad that came with RANCH!!! WTH?!? And only enough for one leaf of lettuce!! What a rip off. Then my meatball sandwich and wings were refrigerator cold. No attempt to heat them up at all. A total waste of money. Will never ever go back.

I had the Alfredo and it didn't taste anything like an Alfredo! It was very bland. No flavor. The waiter kept having to ask someone else for the answer to our questions about the menu. When it came to beer, the menu just said beer of the month and he could not tell us what they were. I just wanted a Budweiser!!
