Stopped by for the first time. The food was Good. The group of young people working there tonight 11/6/19 was Great. Very friendly and conscientious. It was also very clean.

Love this place!!! I'm Guessing they switched management because the people were NEVER friendly before. We got our order quickly, and they even threw in 2 pies for my kids Thank you Chicken Express for making my super stressful and horrible day better!!

This location is under new ownership. The food is way better now, the service is way better now, the ownership is way better now. The new owners even did a complete remodel of the place!! You can tell the new owners definately don't cut corners like the old ownership did!!!

For a fast food chicken establishment, this place has very kind and clean workers. The food is some of the best of any chicken express I’ve gone to.

Great experience at this location. They did give a roll onstead of the biscut that was asked for, but everything else was perfect.

Great drive through experience. Fast fresh and hot. We get the chicken tenders and feed them to our grandkids with some home cooked rice. They love it.

Staff treat you like family. Restaurant immaculate throughout. Staff clearly enjoy the environment as well.

Crystal the daytime manager is super nice. We came in with 7 kids; she was very helpful. Terrific customer service she was very warm and welcoming. The food was great! We will definitely come here again

I was driving back to Oklahoma with my 3 young children & my 5 year old had gotten sick. I stopped for a sweet tea, waters, & an extra cup just incase he got sick again. My oldest decided he couldn't make the remaining 2 hr trip back without food. I was so disoriented when I started ordering and just ordered separate items here in there. The sweet girl at the register put everything that I wanted into an actual order and ordered me a meal which save me some money and gave me exactly what I needed! She was super sweet and even gave me the extra cup free of charge! (which the cup saved us several more times down the road!) Thank you so much for making my stressful drive home with a sick child better.

They are super busy today but the young people working are keeping a great attitude and trying really hard. A little disappointed that there is no chicken cooked, but like I said they got slammed right before I got here. Settling for tenders, fish and rolls.. oh there were no rolls cooked either lol Must be Monday!

Most always a good place to eat. I miss the managers they keep losing tho they always treated people nice but they still have one and he's not so nice. Especially if your a senior citizen and not some young pretty female. Its not right.

This place is by far the best Chicken Express I have been to!!! They ALWAYS have the best service! When there out of something it is always marked very clearly on the menu board!! There food is always on point!!! Also, my daughter is very picky when it comes to her Mac n cheese and there's is always so cheesy and good!!! Keep up the good work guys!!!!

I am so impressed. I have Over 40 years customer service experience. They wowed me. I actually went back thru the drive thru to thank the manager and team. She let me have 2 legs. I have eaten at this location for over 15 years, back when there used to be a fuel station here as well, and it’s been a while since I drove through. I stopped on my way to visit my mother and grabbed meals for both of us. This location is just as great as it always has been - friendly people who are well spoken on the drive through and fast service. I ordered half and half (spicy) chicken tenders with a soda and mashed potatoes, and there was an extra tender in the box. The chicken was well cooked and hot as were the potatoes. The soda was a good ratio and didn’t taste flat. My mother had wings and a breast with fries and coleslaw, and she had a few surprise fried okras in her box, so we unexpectedly were able to try it. It’s good! I’ll be back, yet again.

I buy dinner from here at least once a week. It's always great when the family gets together. I use the drive-through, and I'm hearing impaired, so I ask if I can pull up to the window. When you wear hearing aids, all drive-through speakers are distorted sounding ( not just theirs). The employees are ALWAYS so accommodating. When i get to the window, they always enunciate so I'm sure to understand them, and they're all so sweet. I really appreciate that. They are super fast too! Food is awesome.. just like you'd expect from CE. Something for everyone, too, but don't forget the corn poppers. Yummy! And i get the hot salt on the side since there are only a couple of us that can handle it. 😉

The beat fried chicken we have had in a long time. We had the tenders and a few chicken pieces and they were both great. The biscuits are also great and buttery. And if you like oddities like I do the Gizards were the best I have ever had.

I've never ate at Chicken Express, and apparently, there are multiple locations near me. It's never caught my attention in the 17 years of me living in Texas. So here's why I gave great feedback at this location. I was unable to get the nice young man's name who took my order, but he didn't seem to be bothered by me taking my time to order, and also offered to switch out my hushpuppies for a dinner roll. (Sorry, but that means a lot to some folks) Then another young man came out with our order so quickly offered to place it at a table of our liking 👍 😀 I felt welcomed and appreciated. Than to top it off, from the sound of it, a customer from the drive through came in because her order was missing items, but the young man at the counter apologized and quickly fixed her order and also offered (if she liked) to grab a gallon tea on the way out. 😀 I must admit I was impressed, but the staff and how well they handled customer service with a line of cars and how quickly they took care of them all. I ordered the 2or 3 combo meals...fries are very good when hot... chicken pieces at this one are small bird's and they have not went back to the original large chicken pieces yet.. but good 😊..

On my way home Sunday evening I stopped at this location. Waited on quickly, got my food and left. I ordered 1 cat fish filled and 3 chicken tenders. The fish was excellent! The tenders tasted old and not good at all. I could not eat them. All I ask is please don't give me old food that might make sick. d

We don't go very often but when we do, it never disappoints us. Food is still hot when we get home and delicious! The only reason we don't go more often is the pricing. We don't blame them, it's just the way things are these days. However, they still have the snack pack which is the perfect amount of food more me. My son got a 7 piece meal, plus a gallon of tea. It all worked out for us because he gave me his drink that came with his meal, since mine doesn't. We both love the buttery biscuits. I enjoyed the Mac & cheese. He said the fries were ok, could have been better but glad they were hot. Service with a smile, always here when we've come in. Thank you Sanger location for a good dinner option.

Check your order before you leave. Also, the gravy is very watered down compared to other locations. Service is pleasant and friendly, just very busy and things get mixed up, and the place is spotless.

3-stars on this visit for two reasons (lost 2 stars): 1) Customer service was extremely slow and unfriendly on this day in drive-thru 2) Mashed potatoes looked half-eaten, as styrofoam container was not even half full of potatoes. Side note: sweet tea did not disappoint!

Once you get past the not so good breading the chicken is fine. Cole slaw was good. Also I really don't like the new skinny cheap straws that many are using now.

I give them a 3 because the tenders are always good. My husband usually has an issue with their fries not being fresh. Sometimes okra is over cooked. People are pretty friendly at this location. In general i love chicken express but they can be pretty pricy depending on location.

Not only was my order wrong, I was shorted on the chicken. These tenders make McDonald's chicken nuggets look huge. Not to mention the slow service that always goes with this place.

Everything seemed like it was a day old. Super stale and like warm. Wasn’t greeted when we walked in and the cashier just looked at us. There were other people around the cashier area so we were not sure if we were in line or if they had already ordered. I. LOVE. Chicken Express. By far my favorite chicken chain there is and every other one since I was little (I’m not 28) BESIDES this one has left me more than satisfied. Scorching hot chicken, gravy and fries typically make it where you have to wait to eat your delicious FRESH meal, this one is not the case. Extremely disappointed.

We stopped here tonight on our way home to okc from Dallas. Hoping for a fast meal, we went through the drive thru. Our order was placed at 6:29 per the receipt. Cars were being served all around us as we waited for our order. At 6:45, while still sitting at the drive thru window, we asked about our order. Somehow our order had been given away, but everything we would get would be fresh. We got our order at 6:49. They did offer us free tea, rolls or cookies for our wait. We opted for cookies. But, alas, they didn't have any cooked. The food we got was hot, but if you are in a hurry, bypass the Chicken EXPRESS!

Out of all the years we've gotten CE...I've never been sent home with rotten mashed potatoes. The stench hits you before you even eat them. Will definitely not go back to this one. That's nasty Chicken Express. Where are your standards?

Food was fine, but the blonde woman working the mid shift in the drive thru was pretty rude and got our order wrong. I always go out of my way to be extra nice to employees and she was just rude and even my girlfriend was shocked.

The chicken wings are dry and no seasoning on the meat whatsoever...

The food is fine. Tastes just like a Chicken E should. However, I've been here maybe 10 times and EVERY SINGLE TIME they leave something off my order. Make sure you check your order before you leave because they will leave it out. I have to believe at this point that this may not be an accident! Update: My has gone here a few more times since my first review. Sometimes we go in and sometimes we do drive-thru. Always make sure to check your order. They still consistently miss at least one thing from our order.

I got terrible real bad service there last Saturday night 20 minutes for 4 wings turned in 50 minutes and bad attitude from the girl on the window, and no chicken, I was upset, so I left, without the chicken I paid for, the girl on the window thought it was funny, until I get a refund, I ain't never going back to Chicken Express, and I've been a customer for years.

First time ever trying chicken Express and they mess up my order. I asked for mixed rolls and biscuits and was repeated back "mixed, ok" by them. Got home and only rolls. Not pleased.

I had a horrible experience here! I ordered a couple meals for my husband and my kids and myself. There was black hair all over in our food and my husbands food was completely burnt!

Our first order was messed up no coleslaw and the chicken was freezer burned. When we went to pick up our new order the manager Brandon was like it was our fault. He was very unfriendly. We will not be going back there.

One star because there is no lower rating. 8 piece family box, chicken only, $16+tax. Very greasy. Average taste, at best. Bad enough it's $2/piece, but 3 wings, 3 legs, 1 breast, and 1 thigh?!? Seriously?!? I'll never go back. But who cares.

I just wanted to draw awareness to the problem with the fried chicken dinners that I purchased yesterday. The chicken was so drenched in cooking oil or grease or whatever it is fried in, we couldn't enjoy our meal. I'm not sure what the cause is but maybe, when the basket is lifted from the hot oil it needs more time to drain off? Thank you.

The last 2 times I've been there they get my order messed up. I ask for spicy tenders and always give me regular. And for my side, if they don't have what I want they just give me mashed potatoes without asking me or telling me if it's ok.

Need to maintain your gas pumps or shut them all down half them don't work. No diesel. Pump 3 nozzle does not work. Nozzle keep shutting off. Pump 5 you can barely slide a credit card in it is so tight. Little bit of maintenance goes a long ways.

Staff was a bunch of goofy kids and all Inordered was a fried pickle with jalapeño ranch and a large sweet tea. I was served a large unsweetened tea and fried pickles with no ranch...I was too irritated to even go back in and get it fixed...the construction must have driven all thr good employees away bc none of those people working looked like they cared one way or another to do their job correctly. I'll just stick with the chicken express in Gainesville Tx nearby...they value their customers.

Not very efficient in the drive thru. Teas by the gallon were labeled wrong. We had to repeat the order three times at the drive up window after having called it in 10 minutes before. Fries tasted like they were made about three days ago. Won't be returning unless entire staff is replaced.

So I always order individual tenders because I can’t eat the sides and I never have an issue. Tonight I go to the drive through and the refuse to ring up individual tenders and tell me I have to buy the whole meal. Either they are rude and lazy or just flat out poorly trained. I’m going with rude and lazy considering the girl working the window laughed at me as I drove away. I have never had such poor service at this particular location .

Place has gone to **** Kids running it with no adults. Kid at cash register can't comprehend anything. He is the one that got oders all screwed up. When talking to the child manager, he just stands there laughing. The manager said he would fill it, and he goofed it up. Talked to owner and he didn't care either. Probably his kinfolks!

This place needs some sort of overhaul. The food is so inconsistent. Sometimes the food is nice and hot other times like today get chicken gizzards and couldn't even eat any of it cause they were all ice cold and stale. 15$ wasted

Shop local, I get it! Went to visit the local chicken express today. I went through the drive thru, which seems to be the common mistake with this location. Ordered #7 (1/2 & 1/2), added corn nuggets, and an extra sweet tea. Got home with the order incorrect. Made call and all was going good w/ the manager. He checks the receipt and says I didn't order that. Why "ask" or "offer" something if you want and order (1/2 & 1/2) at the drive-thru if you're not going to get it! I was told to drive back up there to return the meal to get my order correct. Hey, here's an idea Provide the receipt and repeat the order, this would save us both time. Simple fix for a simple problem.....drive back up there? Hahahah, this guy probably still has his parents gas card!

Absolutely horrible customer service at the drive through. Simply asked if they got rid of serendipity seasoning at every location and the girl with braces working the drive through said “how am I supposed to know I work at the one in Sanger” (we were at the one in Sanger) completely out of line and a simple “I’m not sure” would have sufficed. You will not go far with this kind of attitude

Husband just brought this place home. Mac and cheese had no flavor. Very watery.. the chicken strips looked like they are bleached white. And the Ranch packs they give suck. Not impressed one bit. And for sure will never go back to this place. If you think this is good. Then you need to travel and learn what real food is.

This place has gone way down in both service and the food. I have had to bring my food back several times or call them and let them know that they didn't include something in my order. Today was no different. We ordered the 8-piece family meal and when we got home we discovered the chicken was not fully cooked and the french fries were very old and stale. I called and spoke with someone named Tristan and she said that they would remake the order for us and I gave her the order ticket number. My husband went and picked up the order and when he brought it home there was a box full of dark meat. When I called back and questioned why there was no white meat I was told it's the cook's choice. That has never been the case! I will say that during the day is service and food are better but in the evening crew it's a bunch of young people who clearly don't care about the food or the service that they provide and it definitely shows. We will no longer waste our money or time on this place.

First off love Chicken Express but this one is really the worst. When I ordered at the drive thru I ask for a roll and gravy with my chicken meal...nothing was said about them.not having rolls...got my order and no roll and the bowl.of gravy was 1/3 full. I.went in as I to get my roll and full bowl.of gravy and was met by the dumbest manager ever. Told me it was posted on menu they had no rolls..I ordered a roll and no one said they didn't have rolls...i don't read the menu as I get the same.thing everytime. Then he got me another bowl of gravy and you guessed it...1/3 full. I'm sorry that I can't give the employees a lower rating than 1 star...but food was still good.

Very disappointed. The food looked like it had just been thrown into the box — hard, old, and like it had been refried. I decided to give them another chance after being treated poorly the last time I went, but this visit wasn’t any better. The last time they got my order wrong, and when I went back to fix it, there was no apology — just a bad attitude from the worker at the window. Definitely not going back again.

I visited Chicken Express tonight and was disappointed with my experience. I ordered a 7-piece chicken tender combo and asked for both honey mustard and ranch dipping sauces. I was told that only one sauce was allowed, even though the meal included seven tenders. When I asked if a single sauce was really adequate for that amount of food, the employee told me I’d have to purchase additional sauces for $0.35 each. Frankly, this policy seems unreasonable—especially considering how many staff members I noticed standing around. If the concern is about costs, perhaps management should reevaluate staffing or consider the customer experience more carefully. It’s a small thing, but small things can leave a big impression. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration.

It was urgent, because the other place was closed I think its a shame selling such badly cooked chicken. Smells of old oil, just boiled in oil, no spices, no taste, no flavour. Tastes like a boiled chicken from Walmarts 70% off sales Biscuits smells with old oil and has a specific synthetic taste And please, do the normal menu at the order spot. It looks so bad for ordering

I ordered a 4 piece with okra and French fries and I got 2 French fries…like literally 2 French fries not 2 orders of fries. I also only got 2 pieces of chicken. My order has been messed up almost every time I have gone there.
