I’m so happy I got a chance to try Tori Japan in Saugus, MA which is a new Japanese restaurant that’s already the talk of the town for their authentic Japanese cuisine. They have diverse menu of Japanese appetizers and perfectly crafted sushi rolls, each dish captures the essence of traditional flavors. The teriyaki dishes stand out for their grilled perfection and flavorful glaze, while the bento boxes provide a well-rounded meal experience. The restaurant's commitment to using fresh ingredients shines through in every bite. Super helpful staff, lead by the Manager Allen, Sushi Chef Willy, and the warm and friendly cashier Lin, Tori Japan promises a warm and welcoming dining experience set in a great atmosphere! Congratulations to Tori Japan for this new restaurant location, and here's to a future filled with continued growth and success!

Excellent food and I thought the price was fair.

Tasty, fresh, and fast. They have a great deal going - Chicken Teriyaki but 1 get one for $3.99. It's nice to see a Chinese fast food place on the North Shore

I ordered the chicken and asked for no rice. They still gave me plenty of veggies. A lot of places will just take the side out and give you the same amount of the other side. The teriyaki sauce was not excessive and was not over salted. The man at the register very pleasant 😊 will definitely be back to try more !

The sushi was very very good. Fresh and made to order. The staff is very courteous and friendly.

Prices are very fair, staff is wonderful. I'll absolutely be back. They definitely go out of their way to make you feel welcome, it's like running into friends. That level of service is a lost art.

Quick clean place to stop by for lunch after some shopping. Sushi prices are great for the economy, good proportions and they give you a lot of ginger. Non special rolls ranges from 6-8$ / roll. Would come back to try their bento boxes and rice plates! Staff are nice and attentive.

Updated Review: Bumped my review up by 1 having eaten here a handful of times in the short period of time since they have been open. The sushi I have eaten has been consistently good and it is significantly better than all of the other cheap sushi places in the area, and supermarket sushi available. Staff is nice and is interested in feedback to improve, prices are reasonable. Is it my favorite sushi place in the area? Absolutely not. However, this is really solid cheap sushi, decent tasting rice, and much better tasting fish than they serve at the other cheap sushi places in the area and local supermarket options. My kids tried some of the cooked food and all of them seemed satisfied with that as well. Original Review: Adequate sushi for fast serve / cheap food (better than most cheap supermarket sushi) Tried the salmon combo and hamachi nigiri, both were fine. New restaurant (just opened) and staff was nice I believe it is part of a chain that has many other locations in Metro Boston.

Food was decent for the price. Super cheap. Similar to foodcourt but at a restaurant. Sauce was mild which I liked. Love that they displayed calorie amount for people who are counting. They even give you the option of extra sauce on the side. Portion was good. Staff was friendly. Not amazing but for the price, I would come again. Hopefully they have another promotion down the line

I ordered takeout and Tori gave my delivery driver the wrong entree order. I called the restaurant and they said there is nothing they can do like give me a credit or gift card. They said I had to cancel the entire order through Door Dash. Door Dash did nothing wrong, the restaurant did, and the correct order was clearly printed on my receipt. Two other items the egg rolls and maki were right but they didn't include duck sauce. You need to ask for every condiment you want. Even when you eat in.

They have not been opening on time. Staff are inside the store but no one is willing to open the door for business until 10 mins after 11am. Twice in a row, it took us more than 25 mins to get 4 sushi combos. The last time we ordered 2 weeks ago, the salmon was slimy. Will never go back again
