Fleeting was an amazing experience. The steak was absolutely brutal in the best way possible perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The pasta was incredibly soft and smooth, just delicious. Everything we tried was outstanding. Highly recommended!

We had the most excellent meal at Fleeting while celebrating our birthdays on a girls trip! Our server, Maria, made the experience even more incredible! She was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendation to share a couple entrees and side were perfect. We had the ribeye and pork chop and both excellent. The sides were just as good, if not better. She even surprised us with a birthday dessert. 10/10. I will absolutely be back. Bar Julien upstairs is also decorated for Christmas right now and is a must see! Stunning 🤩

Such a great Jazz Brunch! The guitarist was amazing. The music was low enough you could talk, but loud enough you could hear it. The espresso french toast was MMM, chef's kiss! So good! We made a reservation ahead of time but it was pretty slow for a Sunday.

Making a reservation is highly recommended, especially for brunch. The live music makes the Sunday morning experience truly noteworthy. While the breakfast and brunch menu is selective, the coffee is excellent and the service is very good. It is a convenient choice for anyone staying at the Thompson hotel, and for those visiting from elsewhere, free valet parking is available.

I had a fantastic evening at Fleeting for the Eric Wareheim Steakhouse night. The food, service, everything was done with care and detail. This place is one of the best dining experiences you’ll find in Savannah. It’s top on my list of places to go when I’m in town.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish! We celebrated our anniversary here and had the most amazing drinks, food and service. Highly recommend for a new place in Savannah!

Fleeting is one of my favorite restaurants in Savannah. The dishes are full of depth and unique flavors, making them incredibly delicious and memorable. The restaurant is located inside a hotel, offering a comfortable atmosphere. Every dish is fantastic, and the desserts are also delicious. I absolutely love it!

We had the Crybaby menu by Chef Chino, and it was absolutely amazing! We tried almost everything on the menu, and it was all so delicious. The flavors were so unique and exciting, and everything was so fresh. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend you try Chef Chino’s Crybaby menu. Thanks a bunch!

We stayed at the hotel and weren't planning to dine here. But, at 2 different bars, they recommended this place, so we went. Let me tell you why they recommended! The food! Every dish, I can taste the chef's passion and creativities. Even simple as salad was packed with delicate flavors. I was blown away! And the dessert, we had apple tart. It was perfect size and super delicious that made me feel I want to come back again. Well done Fleeting! Thank you for creating and preparing dishes with love and care..

Everything was absolute divine! I couldn’t focus for listening to my boyfriend say “mmmm…” with every bite of steak he took. Additionally, my espresso martini was beyond perfect! I would highly, highly recommend this restaurant and hope to dine here again one day!

My girlfriend and I booked a reservation at Fleeting for restaurant week and had their 3 course menu and a few side items as well. It was around $60 per person and, in my opinion, was worth it for the experience. The food was prepared with precision and got to our table in a very timely manner. The service was outstanding, and the food was out of this world delicious. You can tell they put a lot of care into the restaurant and it's food. Overall, I'd recommend checking them out for a special occasion or having a luxury date night dinner.

Delicious food and wine! The music was a perfect background setting and the interior decoration set a beautiful ambiance. Aaliyah our server was incredible! Give this girl a raise! Alliyah was friendly, had incredible passion for her recommendations which we thoroughly enjoyed. Well worth the money spent! It was a brilliant experience and definitely a recommendation we'll make to friends and family. The hostess at the front on the other hand was very lackluckster.

If you haven’t been to Eastern Wharf yet, the Thompson Hotel with Fleeting and Bar Julian is the best way to kick it off! We went to Fleeting for dinner to experience one of their amazing pop ups, Hakanai x Chef Chino Hathcock. We were blown away! The dishes and cocktails were amazing, our service was impeccable, and the vibe of the entire property places you at the center of comfortable luxury. We can’t wait for the next pop up!

My friends and I dined here the other night and it truly was one of the best dinners the 3 of us have had. We like to pick a new place each month and try it out and so far Fleeting has taken the lead for us! The ambiance in Fleeting is beautiful and comfortable but elegant as well, our server was perfect, he was attentive without being overbearing, we all agreed it was as if he was telling us a story throughout our dining experience. Every recommendation he gave was incredible from the wine to the entrees to the desserts. We had the oysters, pork and cheese board, collard salad, duck, prime rib special and sirloin. Everything was delicious! We also tried 4 of the desserts and enjoyed them, we liked the apple one and the cheesecake the best though if you need a recommendation! We cannot wait to be back! 10/10, thank you!

This is the best kept secret of Savannah. The food was fresh and delicious. You can tell it’s made with care. It’s definitely farm to table. The wine and drinks were good and the value for your money is great. Can’t recommend enough. Wish it was easier to get to but like it was in a quieter area.

Quite possibly the best meal I've ever had. The attention to detail, the friendly service, the balance of flavors in both food and drinks, and the general atmosphere all come together to create a superb experience. I really don't know how this place isn't packed from open to close. I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem before it becomes incredibly difficult to get into. We forgot to take pictures of some dishes because they were just too appealing to not dig straight into. We will be back for our next occasion if not before that. I will dream about the rice pudding. Our server Justin went above and beyond to give us a great experience. Loved his kindness and humor. Can't wait to return.

Everything was FANTASTIC! The fresh caught roasted whole fish was delicious. We also got the roasted carrots and fingerling potatoes on the side and they were both delicious as well.

Everything was excellent. All the dishes 10/10. Burrata with a slice of fresh bread, creamy pasta, grilled fish.. All the advises from our waiter was very helpful and let us enjoy our dinner on maximum. We really love Bar Julian and Fleeting didn’t disappoint us as well. Highly recommend this place if you want to have a sophisticated dinner!

Had a wonderful Christmas day breakfast. The service was impeccable, the food amazing. I had the french toast which was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside with a light sweetness that took it over the top for me. I also had the citrus fruit salad which included pink grapefruit, mandarin oranges, pineapple, fresh mint and a nice little surprise with its spicy, candied pecans. Special experience to take home from Savannah. Will definitely be back on my next visit.

Chic, upbeat downstairs restaurant. We went to hear the jazz guitarist, Bill Smith, while enjoying Sunday brunch with friends. A+ Our server was perfect with us ☆

Just finished my breakfast at Fleeting. I normally don’t eat French toast. But the menu said French toast brûlée and had to try it. Hubby got the classic breakfast. Boy did my French toast did not disappoint. I normally don’t give 5 stars and this one deserves it and more. They served sorghum butter, reg butter and jelly with the syrup. I opted for syrup. So the French toast had a slight candied crust and super creamy in the middle. I’ve never had French toast like this. The sausage Pattie’s were awesome too. Tasted the fresh fennel in it. My hubby’s breakfast was good too. Amazing ingredients and the price is good. The whole ambiance of Fleeting inside the Thompson Savannah is so gorgeous. I’ll be dreaming of that French toast!

This is my fifth time coming to Fleeting. Yet again... I am not let down! I love everything about this place. The past four times I've been, my server has always been Alex, he's the man! Tonight, we were served by Justin, he was amazing and it was good to finally meet him. Whenever we come we always try to get a good grasp of the different flavors on the menu, and tonight was no exception. To start we ordered some nice sides to share around the table, including the roasted oysters, grilled sourdough, shrimp dip, roasted brussels, and of course... fingerling potatoes. I enjoyed everything, especially the shrimp dip with house made potato chips. For my main I ordered the crab rigatoni, suggested by our server. He did not lie when he said it was going to be some good freaking pasta. Paired with the house-made sausage, feta and some veg, this crab rigatoni dish was simply out of this world. Finishing it all off, for dessert I ordered the vanilla cheesecake brulee, paired with the broadbent rainwater madiera suggested by the menu. It was a great combo, the lemon mousse with a small bit of the brulee'd cheesecake made a great bite every time. That, accompanied by the sweetness of the madiera made for a great way to finish an amazing meal. Much love to everyone at Fleeting who made it such a wonderful experience each and every visit, until next time.

Simply put, one of the best breakfast experiences I’ve ever had. Absolutely loved the steak and eggs. The service from Kelly our waitress was phenomenal, she was friendly and professional. My wife loved her French toast, my daughter enjoyed the house pancakes and my son delighted in the brown sugar oatmeal. The fruit smoothies were delicious as well. The ambiance is bright and relaxed. Will return next time I’m in Savannah.

Wow! We are 2 well-travelled foodies from southwest Louisiana. Fleeting exceeded our expectations! Aleah was a wonderfully attentive waitress. The North Carolina Crabcake was truly the best Crabcake we've ever eaten. The Chanterelle and Corn Croquettes were fantastic. Ms. Mitzi, who is usually the banquet manager came over and kindly answered our questions and made recommendations and even provided us with a little lagniappe. The Double Chocolate Eclairs were good, but the House Made Cruellers were exceptional - make sure to eat them hot! Treat yourself to a fine meal soon!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This little restaurant is AMAZING! The food is farm-to-table from the nearby Bootleg Farms. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is super clean. The staff truly works as a team and they are all SO nice and accommodating! The hostess took time to speak to my little girl and make her feel special. Both of the guys who were cooking took the time to tell us about the restaurant and the food. The servers were kind and efficient. They have a little kitchen garden outside where they get their fresh herbs. On display, they have pickled veggies in glass jars that are prepared by their night chef and used in one of their pork dishes. They get a fresh pig every week and the meat is used throughout their menu. They know where all of their ingredients come from and they are all fresh. You can tell this IMMEDIATELY when you taste the food! I like sausage okay, their their’s…omg, so flavorful and the texture was perfect. I can’t say enough about the sweet potato bowl for breakfast! I wouldn’t have ordered it from just looking at the menu, but I saw someone sitting at another table who ordered it. It looked amazing and it did not disappoint!!!! WOWWWW!!!!! Just wow! They are part of The Thompson Hotel, which is part of Hyatt, and they even have an attached bakery with pastries and fresh bread. They provide the baked goods for the restaurant. We didn’t go upstairs to the rooftop bar, but we were told it has some of the best views in Savannah with spectacular food and drinks. There is a LARGE river front area of green space for sitting and relaxing and a little play area for the kids. A great place to relax after eating with a gorgeous view of the river! This was a long review, but so warranted! I was thoroughly impressed, which is hard to do! We will go back again and stay at the Thompson and will MOST DEFINITELY eat at Fleeting again! Congrats to the owner and the entire staff! You guys have done a spectacular job!!! Keep up the amazing work!

Date of service 04/01/22 My wife and I went to Fleeting for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Without a doubt, this experience was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in quite some time. We booked a reservation online for 7PM. The process was simple and convenient. We arrived between 6:30 and 6:40PM for our dinner. We were greeted by three young ladies at the front desk and were offered the option of being seated immediately, which we accepted. We were led to a quaint 2-person table in what appeared to be the middle of the dining area. The decor was nice. Nothing too extravagant but at the same time, rather charming. We had a view of the open kitchen where the chefs were preparing the meals. Executive Chef Rob Newton was at the helm, meticulously inspecting every detail of each dish before it went to its respective table. We also had a view of what I guess would be considered the “boardwalk”… not a bad spot at all for people watching. After being seated, we were soon greeted by our waitress and provided various options of waters to choose from to start with. Our waitress’s name was Evonne. She was very attentive throughout the night, constantly checking in on us to see if we needed anything and how our food tasted. We ordered two mixed drinks. They came to the table promptly and they were each well-balanced and very tasty. My wife and I ordered two appetizers to share. One was the “Warm Smoky Dates” and the other was the “Chips and Caviar.”. Each of these dishes came out quickly. The dates certainly had a detectable smoky flavor to them that wasn’t overpowering. They were accompanied with candied pecans, blue cheese, and sea salt. It was a great balance of taste and texture. The Chips and Caviar were amazing. If I had one critique toward that dish, I wish the chips were just a little bit thicker. They had a tendency to break while scooping up some of the crème fraiche. Aside from that, the caviar (Hackleback roe) had a great, salty flavor and seemed to melt in your mouth. Our main courses consisted of the roasted chicken that my wife ordered and the strip steak for myself. Each dish was cooked to perfection. My wife’s chicken was flavorful and juicy. Honestly, it’s the best chicken I’ve tasted in quite some time. The steak - wow. I can hardly put into words how tender and tasty the steak was. It’s said that strip steak has less flavor than filet mignon, but if you were judging by this dish, you would not think so. The steak had enough fat to give it flavor but not so much that it took away from the dish. We also ordered a side dish of the grilled sunchokes to go with our main course. They came out very tender and flavorful. But honestly, with as good as the chicken and steak tasted, they were nothing more than an afterthought at that point in time. For dessert, we each ordered the Warm Crimson Crisp Apple Tart. It was accompanied by a scoop of vanilla gelato, served on a bed of honeycomb crumble and topped with a sprinkling of tomme cheese. This dish, quite simply, defined what a dessert should be. It was filled with so many different flavor notes and textures that it was unreal. At the end of our dinner, I even placed an order for a portion of their pastrami to have for lunch at work the following day. Once I heard that it was prepared sous vide style for two days and then seared, I couldn’t resist! I got it home and took a little taste of it before putting it in the refrigerator. Let’s just say, I haven’t looked forward to going to work so much in quite a while. :) Overall, I can see Fleeting becoming a new favorite restaurant of ours. My wife and I are already planning to return to the restaurant in order to try out some of their other dishes.

Exceptional service. Every dish was unique and unbelievably tasty. Very reasonable priced given the quality and expertise in the kitchen area. The local apple salad and oysters were both one of a kind. The strip steak was what I went with for the main. All VERY flavorful. The staff all had a PhD in kindness and service. Well done! I loved seeing the man work the wood fire most of the dishes. Even the sourdough bread. That's next for me.

ADAM COPPER

1st off the only benefit and why I would even consider giving this place a 5 out of 5 is because it's convenient inside the Thompson and breakfast each day was completely FREE comp'd by the hotel, otherwise understand no way could I just the prices for the quality and taste. The food lacked in almost every area and what kind of breakfast has no orange juice "we are out" Really???? wow....The food was bland and no way for the price is this even close to a reasonable place to eat. I always keep my reviews real and truly feel the only way this place will stay in business is with Thompson Hotel funding them. It's not a justifiable 5 out of 5 --more like a liberal 2 out of 5. Definitely we would NOT be eating here if it wasn't for it being free.

Wonderful dinner! They accommodated my request for a different side; and still shared the amazing in house butter beans! Server and chefs were amazing! I’ll definitely be returning to stay at Thompson and catch breakfast and dinner again at Fleeting… forgot to take a picture of the gorgeous snapper dish, but here is one of the most amazing Oysters!!

We took the last reservation time slot because we had to make sure our baby was down for bed for the nanny. We are so thankful that they were our choice for dinner. They didn't pressure us to get out and eat fast. We were the only people in the restaurant and we were so grateful they made our anniversary night special. Maria was the best waitress and had the best recommendations,.

Our server Justin was excellent! The restaurant is open, but not loud at all, even on a busy Saturday night. Loved the open style kitchen and the wood fired oven. The food was delicious and wonderful presentation.

Smaller menu, but food was great. Our group started with bread and oysters. Mains were whole fish, pea pasta, filet and the chicken. Tres Leches was delicious. Service was good until the end, we had to wait a bit to get our check.

The atmosphere is inviting and thoughtfully curated, with a beautifully designed interior that sets the stage for both an intimate date night or a lively dinner among friends. The ceviche is a standout—bright, fresh, and impeccably balanced. Meanwhile, the ribeye arrives with a masterful sear, locking in flavor and showcasing the kitchen’s confident execution

I’ve been to Fleeting quite a few times- and every time has always been exceptional. From the moment you arrive to your reservation, Jessi is so helpful, warm and meticulous with ensuring your entire experience is wonderful. I’ve never eaten anything I haven’t loved here. Chef Justin is so talented. Cody has been our server most of our visits and he is so on top of making sure your entire dining experience is seamless and enjoyable. Beckie makes a great drink and is so sweet. The restaurant itself is stunning, and the food and entire staff are top notch. Definitely recommend anyone in Savannah both local or visiting to make it a point to come here!

Honestly and pleasantly surprised by Fleeting. Started at the bar with a cocktail where the service was great. In the restaurant the two of us shared several small plates, sides, and a new entree they had on the menu. The roasted beets and crispy brussels were fantastic but the star was the beef tartare. Great wine selection. Semi-laid back vibe. Our server, Maria, was perfect in every way. Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner out.

Stayed at the Thompson hotel close to Christmas on a drive down south from DC and arrived just in time to get food here. The staff was very friendly, polite, and accommodating for a single individual about 45 minutes from closing. I ordered the raw and baked oysters as well as the steak tartare. The oysters were dynamite and the steak tartare was prepared in a way I haven’t seen elsewhere. They gave me a single beer on the house out of sheer generosity and that set the tone for my night stay at the hotel, just A+ all around. If I end up staying here again on my next drive south I will for sure grab another bite to eat here!

Easily one of the best dining experiences we've had. The food was phenomenal, and the open kitchen is a must-see, it was amazing watching the chefs work their magic. A huge shout-out to Jessie (the manager) and the whole team for being so nice and professional. They made our night perfect. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the hotel here in 2022 and was very lucky to have eaten at this restaurant. Nearly 4 years later and I still think about the food I ate! Hands down the best culinary experience I had. And this is coming from a south Louisiana Cajun girl.

We came here 3 times during our hotel stay. I love the food presentation, service is good as well. But I think for the price you could get better options in downtown.

Disappointing Return .... We were really looking forward to returning here after having such a wonderful experience last year, but this visit was a complete 180. The service was lackluster and the atmosphere had lost the charm it once had. Our server didn’t seem to understand that we were looking for a nice bottle of wine. She only offered the two options available by the glass — both were poor. I finally had to ask, “Don’t you have a wine list?” to which she replied, “Oh yes, we do.” At most nice restaurants, especially for an anniversary dinner, the wine list is offered right away. The food was just as disappointing — bland, uninspired, and not worth the price. My husband’s fish was overcooked, the sides were forgettable, and they now charge for bread and butter — which turned out to be a basic piece of bread with a big slab of butter. The only bright spot was seeing one of the servers we remembered from our visit in June 2024. She still brings genuine warmth and sparkle to the place. Sadly, everything else has gone downhill — new ownership, new chefs, and a much lower standard overall. Definitely not the special dining experience it once was. So many wonderful options in Savannah - this would not be one I'd recommend any longer, sadly. ----------------------------------------------- THIS review was from June 2024: It was our last night at the Thompson in Savannah. We booked Fleeting last minute - and man, am I so glad we saved the best for last! And trust me, we had some very tasty meals during our trip! Everything about our evening was perfect. Our dinners were out of this world! The creativity, the flavors, presentation…..yummmmmy! We met the fabulous chef Victoria, who is a gem! We had the best server and service! Excellent hospitality, attentiveness and genuineness! They surprised me with a birthday dessert - delicious! And they provided my husband with seasonal fresh fruit and gelato for his dessert. It sounds simple but let me tell you, it was super fresh and tasty! We also had reservations the following morning for Fleeting’s Jazz Brunch. Same wonderful server, and again, a beautiful brunch with live jazz in the background. Was a great time and the perfect way to end our stay as we headed back home! You sometimes have ideas about a restaurant housed inside a hotel (like Fleeting inside the Thompson/Hyatt), but this was one of the best meals we’ve had in a very, very loooong time! Most def will be back! Super duper recommend Fleeting!!!!!

This place is super fancy the drinks was amazing butttt the steak I got was not worth 59 dollars it was so chewy like all of it was chewy and had a lot of gristle overall taste was good just hated how chewy it was. The salad that it came with was good there was crispy potatoes underneath so it was a little weird. The zesty lemon had some sour kick to it! I think I liked the jam the most that came with the bread as an appetizer. Yes no free bread here you pay for just about everything but the water unless you want bottled water that is. Now my fiancé had a better experience he ordered the duck and absolutely loved it, it was tender and tasty he also ordered a bowl of the crispy potato which is a lot so if it’s just two people might be to much for ya. Overall I would try something else on the menu just can’t with steak here. I was disappointed! For me I have to go 3 stars because the price and type of establishment it is needs to be better.

m
mike dutch

This is a restaurant attached to a fantastic hotel. The staff was nice. And the appetizers were wonderful there is a bread that is to die for. The only reason I had to drop to 3 stars was we both ordered the duck and It was not cooled properly, like at all. The fat side was soft with no Crisp to it while the meat side was overdone. And both came the same. So maybe a new cook or whatever, but it was close to unedible. Other than that the place is very nice. And probably deserves another shot.

Fleeting offers farm-to-table meals that live up to their promise. However, the restaurant doesn't offer much beyond that. It has the feel of a typical hotel restaurant, with higher prices for basic dishes. While the menu attempts to be modern, the standout dishes are the classic ones, like their regular potatoes. The service is excellent and very efficient. However, the restaurant's ambiance pales in comparison to the other dining option in the hotel, Justin, which not only offers incredible food but also stunning views.

Love the plating and the aesthetic of the restaurant. The service was not the best.. the waitress had no idea what is on the menu and gave an attitude towards us when we were asking about it. Overall, not bad

坂田達也

The environment and service of this restaurant is very good, but the most important thing about a restaurant I think should be the taste of the food. I forget what this appetizer was called, but it disappointed me with its taste. Honestly every dish I ordered didn't leave me feeling a bit wowed at this restaurant, and I tend to rate meals based on price. Obviously this is a good place for business and dates, but never a good place to find good food

T
TS

The restaurant is in a hotel - ambiance is relatively good. The menu is very promising however execution is pretty average. It took around 35 minutes to receive a salad appetizer when the restaurant was 1/3 full. The food was overpriced for what it is by thank you so much. I have a couple of paper napkins. Thank you 15-20% it is decent for a hotel restaurant, but it is not a destination for a great meal. Also, service was pretty spotty.

We were disappointed by dinner at Fleeting. The food was fine but only a lone vegetable side dish was better than fine. We wanted spectacular (which we got the next morning at the same hotel but at Bar Julien). It took forever for anyone to wait on us, and then it was a guest server who apologized and said he'd get us started and our regular server would follow up. The cocktails were fine. For starters we had a half dozen grilled oysters. They were fine. And for mains one of us had crab pasta and the other a flounder special. The grilled Brussels Sprouts were really good. The other dishes were all just fine. We were looking for memorable. I asked for fresh pepper on the crab pasta. It never came. We left remembering how okay the food was and that the service was below average. That was not what we were hoping for.

Karolina Hernandez

I went to dinner by chance, I ordered moscato, they didn't have any, the waiter offered me a wine. The wine was dry, not sweet, the food was not of the quality I expected for this place, which is nice, the bootleg farms chicken, the chicken was not well cooked, I asked for it to be put back on the grill, the rice was not of good quality, I think it is exaggerated to charge 37 dollars for a piece of chicken breast with a sauce underneath it that didn't taste good and rice. They charged me for the wine when I told them I didn't like it.
