The best California Benedict. Ham, tomatoes, avocado, and perfect tangy hollandaise sauce. The owner; Craig, is committed to customer service and excellent food...and has an attentive staff to serve up the goods.
Absolutely perfect! Tasty food, Smoked salmon benedict, awesome cappuccino and incredible service! Thank you, you’ve made my Saturday.
Love coming here for brunch after a nice walk on the beach ❤️ Food is great! They have outdoor seating and they allow pets as well. This place has one of the best French toast I ever had 😳👌🏽 love it! 🥰 I normally come with my friend and we share this plates, perfect amount for us ✨ Servers are very nice and friendly🙌🏼 Highly recommend❤️
The French toast is absolutely amazing! The bread is already sweet and melts in your mouth. The abuelita hot chocolate tastes just like my grandmother's. Authentic. This is the go to place for brunch!
Food was delicious, they accommodated our large party of 16 and the food came out fast. The Catrina burger I had was delicious, my wife had the chilaquiles and she said they were good. Overall great place with good prices, wheel chair accessible and street parking right outside.
The ratio of beans to salsa is perfect on the Huevos Ranchero - eggs sunny side up is a nice combo. The cafe del Olla comes in a up large enough to drown the Thursday sins.
Was surprised by this place. Service was prompt and courteous. Food was very good. I got the avocado toast and wife got the eggs your way. The avo toast was served on HOUSE made bread that was amazing. Flavor profile popped. Topped it was a poached eggs that was the best I have ever had. I don't get it, but it was so good. Wife got the poached eggs with yummy bacon and "house potatoes", that were amazing as well. Green in color due to seasoning...flavor...oh my. Going again real soon.
Best French Toast I've ever had in my life! They use home made bread and dip it in a Brulee mixture before they fry it. The Chilaquiles were great and mildly spicy. The Avocado Toast with Poached egg and potatoes was also great. They marinate the thin potato slices in a green herb mixture that provides nice flavor. Everything here has a homemade touch. Great coffee too!
A "newer" local cafe I haven't then internet because every time I come by it's so busy. The line seems to be justified. On a slow Tuesday morning I slipped in for a fantastic breakfast. Extending my love affair with espresso the Cafe Mexicano provided a tasty treat of espresso, milk, cinnamon and hot water. Main course was ave what the spicy BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado, egg, Verde salsa). A breakfast twist on a classic sandwich. It was also fantastic. Service was kind. Outside of trying to deal with the long waits they sometimes have, I'll be back again.

Great little breakfast and lunch spot in Seal Beach. Lavender latte and avocado toast!
I tried Catrinas bc my usual place (LaCrema) was full. I have been back twice and it is my nrw favorite. Highly recommended.
breakfast sandwich was so good i started crying. this is the best thing ive ever eaten in my life. a bit expensive but so worth it
The food is delicious and super fresh. We eat there almost every weekend Service is great to get you seated and take your order. I gave 4 stars on service because my husband has to flag them down every time to get a refill on ice tea and it's hard to make eye contact to get them to come over. Honestly, if Google would let me take a half star away for that I would have. Do yourself a favor and try this place. There may be a short wait during busy weekend mornings but it's worth the wait!
Visiting seal beach for the day and got the best brunch/lunch at this cafe! My daughter and I are both gluten free and they had bread for us. Even made my delicious chicken sandwich with double pieces since the GF bread is small. Basically got two small sandwiches! The sweet potato fries were delicious and came unsalted which was great. Been traveling for a week and all the other restaurants seem to load up on salt on everything and I loved the more healthy option. And the prices were also really reasonable especially for such yummy food and good portions!
Tired of having to wait hours for a table at „La Crema“, we decided to give this place a try. It did not disappoint! Service is much faster, coffee is excellent, food is very good, and the atmosphere was cozy. Priced reasonably with staff going above and beyond to make you feel welcome 👍👍👍
My avocado toast, with eggs, was amazing and my husband LOVED his egg burrito and side of potatoes!! Fantastic food and friendly service. Definitely recommend.

Refreshingly good food at a reasonable price. Unusual for this area. Very good service clean and comfortable. Really enjoyed the chai and the Mexican hot cocoa. The food choices were great

I had avocado toast, and it was delicious! I’ll try a different item next time I visit.
This is my third or fourth time here. I got the French toast and the cafe Mexicano and my friend got the chilaquiles and hot chocolate. I would say the French toast, while delicious, is not enough food, the slices are small. I was feeling hungry after eating. The chilaquiles were spicy and delicious. I'll come back here, but will try some of their other items. I like that they open at 7 am. Lots of people, regulars that all seem to know each other. Nice atmosphere and nice to walk the pier after eating.
I’ve passed by this cute little restaurant so many times on the way to Crema Cafe, and I’m so glad I finally stopped in! I wasn’t in the mood for eggs, so I ordered from the sandwich menu and got the veggie wrap. It was delicious and HUGE so I saved the other half to go. My boyfriend had an omelet and really enjoyed it. It was busy, but not overwhelmingly so it’s definitely more chill than the usual wait at Crema. I still love Crema, but tbh, this place might have just won me over. The space is small but very clean, service was fast, and the staff were all super attentive. You could flag down anyone and they’d gladly help. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks, Catrina Cafe!
Great breakfast and lunch cafe on downtown Main Street Seal Beach. Great breakfast options. Delicious pastries. Good drinks. Laid back atmosphere. The breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito were great.

The food was alright, it was definitely under seasoned and missing a few things, the cappuccino was no good either and tasted watered down. The service was very subpar and the server never came back to check on me, I had to flag her down anytime I needed something. 2 stars since the waffle fries were pretty good.
