The food is good if you finally get it. I have given this place so many chances because I want a decent chicken caeser salad but this place has been continually disappointing. Today we ordered 2 chicken caeser salads and a smokehouse salad, extra sauce. We received 2 smokehouse salads and a chicken caeser salad loaded with onions. We did get the extra sauce but this happens every time. Normally there aren't raw onions in the chicken salad, now there aren't croutons. The smokehouse salad has no onion tanglers the description mentioned. Sometimes there isn't any sauce at all. I've given up on ordering sides I'll pay for and never get. I should mention this is all to go orders so I only find out when I get home. It was very empty at the time so there was not a big rush. The food isn't cheap so I shouldn't have to pull apart the entire order in my car see what went wrong this time. If anything please be consistent. I'll update this review in 1 month. This is a late update but I've tried it a lot of times since this review and they've improved everything. Good job!

It's like traveling to the Twilight Zone, a restaurant that is absolutely delicious and Covid has not killed the entire concept of customer service or anything else that one expects from a restaurant, and I will support the people that are still real and have pride and don't blame covid for all the problems in the world. I am looking forward to the next road trip to NM so I will have another chance to enjoy the best brisket in central Texas!

This was my first time here and let me tell you the Smokehouse Salad did not disappoint me. I had a sample of the chicken and that was mouth watering. Inside dining and drive thru available.

I hate to say it one of the best brisket sandwiches you can get. I love BBQ and would imagine there would be tons of great BBQ joints here. Not the case if you like west Texas style BBQ and these guys are everywhere always a good option.

The Dickey's in Seminole is very well managed and the employees have terrific customer service skills. I often call in large orders and they are always accurate and on time.

Ok as soon as i walked, i was happy bc the people were happy and making me life. This is one of the only dickys i know that was very polite and mannered. There food was also perfection i loved it here yall showed come.

Ordered the ribs and they were really good and tender. Also got the coleslaw and potato salad and they were pretty good also. I stop here every so often when passing through , and every time my coworkers and I are satisfied. If I had one gripe it would be no ice cream, machine was broken, No big deal , service was good also so they deserve 5 stars

Food was delicious! But,...what impressed me most was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful!!! They deserve large pats on the back! We have been to one other Dickeys in south Midland on Rankin highway. Their staff were horrible every time we went in there, so this experience was a very nice treat?

Arrived around 6pm on a Saturday. Me and a coworker were the only ones there. Placed my order and by the time I paid out, the food was ready. Dining room was extremely clean, the bathroom was clean and stocked. I can't help but get the Jalapeno beans everytime I go there. All the other means and sides are good. Again. Another place with some of the best sweet tea!

Service was quick,friendly,and we got our orders real quick. Food was great.Portion size was good. I had tea to drink it was real good. I would be a return customer.

The Dickey's in Seminole, TX is amazing. The food is excellent and so is the green beans, and coleslaw. Great service each visit, by an employee named Jessica. I highly recommend stopping by for the ribs.... I know I will keep doing so!! :-)

Literally, this is one of the very few places in Seminole where the food is good. I know it's a chain, but that's the point i'm trying to make. Unless you are trying to get a quick breakfast burrito somewhere else in town, this is the only place to go where you won't leave feeling like you wasted your money. Additionally, the staff is great and the owners keep this Dickey's in great shape. Watch out for Sunday crowd. Kids under 12 eat free on Sundays so get there early or you'll wait in a long line outside!

Great food! It’s the best Dickey’s location in Texas IMO. Great costumer service by all the workers and was greeted nicely. Food was delicious and fair priced, would recommend it to anyone driving by or even for a road trip!

I stopped through here on a drive back from El Paso to Lubbock. At first I was a bit disappointed (I had wanted to try another restaurant that was closed), but the service was quick, the food was fresh, and I was very impressed. It is the typical Dickey's fare, so you know what to expect, but the food was hotter and fresher than I had experienced at Dickey's in a long time.

First time visit as we're new to the area. I I got a chicken sandwich with fries and an extra side of Mac n cheese. It came out fast and was delicious. The restaurant was also super clean. Plenty of room for our group of 6.

Fast and friendly service. Went here a few years back and was not impressed, but I was pleasantly surprised today. The pulled pork sandwich was perfect with their spicy sauce. The waffle fries were also amazing. Would definitely recommend eating here, and I will be coming back. They also have paper straws which is pretty cool.

Food is Always good at Dickeys. However this store refuses to let you use any coupons. You can not even use rewards from the app that you use when purchasing items from this location to collect rewards. The employees a re truly AWESOME. The owner however will not let them accept rewards or coupons that they themselves give out.

My first time in Seminole TX and first time at any Dickey's. Great choices for a pale food plan here. I had the two meat plate: smoked chicken and sliced brisket with spicy sauce, and a double side of green beans with bacon. The meat was super tender! The sauce was just right. Green beans were decent. I enjoyed it.

The BBQ was decent for a Dickeys. The service was good although the staff was not overly friendly. Free ice cream is always fun. The atmosphere was comfortable and not overly loud/crowded.

The ribs r really good, just a little to salty. Some of the sandwiches r big- that u can make 2 extra sandwich es at home for the kids or grownups. The okra is very good- but again to salty! If they CUT DOWN ON SALT- IT WOULD BE A GREAT PLACE FOR LUNCH OR DINNER ON GAME NIGHTS.

Love the food! But drive thru service could be a little faster. Had 45 min of lunch, thought drive thru would be quicker. Waited 15 min in line, Got to the speaker and still was asked to wait.... I enjoy getting my food here. The food is very delicious. I never had a problem here. The food comes fast, and it’s not very busy. The only thing I didn’t like is…I’m a mom of a 1 yr old and it’s really hard for me to get off the vehicle with my 1 yr old. Well I order online so when I got there all I had to do was pick up. The girl at the window gave me my drink and my food she was very nice…but she didn’t hand me my straw which I was like maybe it’s in the bag of food. So I didn’t ask for one I checked the bag to make sure if it was in there. It wasn’t! So I waited 3 minutes hoping she would come back and ask if I needed anything else. Nope! She was to busy looking down at her phone, not paying attention if I was there. I was upset because I had to get off and get my straw mind u I have a 1 yr old he was asleep. I don’t care if the employees are on their phone at work. But if you’re not busy & you have a customer make sure they have everything that they need. Because customers when they see that yall aren’t busy we have high expectations on getting things correctly. I just wanted to write a review just so the manager can correct these issues. It’s really hard for mothers out here. Especially when we can’t just get off and get stuff. Just pay attention next time and make sure your customers at the window drive off.

Welp, I see that the owner replies to everyone. So, here you go. Can't just apologize to everyone and then keep on doing the same thing. No point in the apology. Went here last week on the way to Odessa. Been to Dickeys before, was hoping this experience would be better. Nah. I'll give you that the sausage and turkey were pretty good. However, the brisket was horrid. Never had anything so dry and sad in all my brisket-eating days. Had a couple bites and pitched it. Just terrible. Walked in and got it to go. The staff was a bunch of kids having a good time. One kid was wiping tables down with bleach. And I mean....straight bleach. Got my food and left. Honestly, just keep going to Odessa and get real Texas bbq. No idea how Dickeys stays in business.

There wasn't a single high chair that didn't have a broken buckle. My child has to be buckled in or she will fall out. She's wild. That made me upset. Also, my dad cooks way better BBQ.

Food was okay, the problem was is that they are a barbecue restaurant and they were out of pulled pork and they were out of mashed potatoes. To some it may not matter but I was disappointed. I went ahead and ate it because I was in a semi truck and limited where to stop. Not again though.

They were out of mostly what I asked for, BBQ sauce was cold, the roll could've been used as a baseball it was so tough. The food wasn't indelible, but I'd a been better off with a PB&J

I went in 30 min before closing time. Ordered the chopped brisket sandwich. Meat was ok, but bun was so dry it was almost uneatable! Must have been setting out for two or three days! Really disappointed.

The brisket was not tinder and tasted like pork. The turkey tasted like lunch meat and the sweet tea was actually unsweetened. I will not be coming back.

Well, it's been 3 months since I've eaten here, and after my last review management asked me to give them another go. So here it is, you asked for it! I ordered a pulled pork combo at the drive thru, with home fries, onion Tangiers, and a large sweet tea. The sandwich was below average, without any real smoke flavor at all! I've had better at the county fair. The onion tanglers were very good the last time, but this time they were moderately burnt! I could barely tell they were even onions they were so burned and stuck together. Could NOT EAT THEM!!! The homestyle fries were waffle cut, which I'm not a huge fan of, but they were okay. Needless to say, but I'm going to anyway, I probably will NOT be returning to this establishment except for the occasional glass of sweet tea. I travel across the US with my job a lot, and have eaten at quite a few Dickey's BBQ restaurants, and this is by far the worst and most inconsistent I've eaten at...

Lady behind the counter saw us walk in and went to the back and didn't return shortly after another guy saw us and also went to the back, waited several minutes finally walked into the office to ask for someone to take our order. older gentleman seemed surprised no one was at the counter and stepped in. Seemed like he tried but the brisket and sausage my wife ordered was cold and the Mac and cheese and potatoe casserole were barely warm. Same for the pulled pork my kids had. Fries and okra were hot and delicious since they had to be made fresh. Also tried the cobbler and wasn't impressed. Typically not a bad place for fast barbecue but, clearly they need better help.

Visited seminole texas storr and was treated very rudely. We r senior citizens and young blond hair boy waited on us and was extremly rude and condensening to us. I spoke up and he later apolized and gave us free meal tickets. We will not eat at this place or any other of the chains again. Our meal experience was ruined by this young mans bad attitude. They never have anything!!! 5 days in a row now out of baked potatoes by 5:00. Today they were out of all beef and pork. They obviously don’t know how to take inventory or prep for the whole day.

I’m gonna keep this short. I was sitting at the drive-thru and I watched the kid cutting my food start absolutely devouring the chicken with his gloves on. It was finger in mouth devouring. Not only that, but they didn’t put my sandwich in my bag. So when I told them, they sent the kid to get the sandwich he had made while munching down on the same chicken he had made my sandwich with. I refused it and asked for a refund which they granted.

The sausage and brisket were cold. The roll was like biting into a 10 day old roll that had been played with by a raccoon for a week. If that wasn't bad enough the youngsters working there acted like they were not there to take our order. They were just too busy and couldn't be bothered by our business.

Brisket had no flavor, no crust, was undercooked and chewy. Took two bites and even the bbq sauce didn't help it. Ask for pulled pork to replace it. They didn't want to but they did get me the pulled pork I ask for. Turns out it was still cold from the fridge. I didn't bother asking them to warm it up cause they had to of known it was ice cold. Two bites and no flavor either. Green beans tasted and looked burnt. Mac and cheese were lacking flavor and kind of cold but turned out to be the only edible part of my 17 dollar meal. Out of bbq sauce at the condiment counter. And a bunch of dirty tables. I had my 6 or 7 bites of the hands down worst Dickeys I've ever been to and left. Within the hour my stomach is already turning...

I have been stopping here every now and then for over a year. I work in Seminole three times a week and drive up from Lubbock. I get a silverware pack every time I stop by and they all have a coupon for a free pulled pork sandwich with purchase of a drink. I decided today to use one. I stopped and went in. Their supper rush was one person sitting at a table and another ordering. Thats why I stop here there are never any customers so its a fast in and out. My wife calls it mall food and she's right its always been low end but I've been known to go to the one mall restaurant with no one in line just to get in and out and move on instead of waiting in-line at a good place. Anyway the guy behind the counter said "we don't accept those here " and stared at me waiting for me to order something else when I showed him the coupon I got from there. I said ok and turned around and headed to the door. I tossed the coupon in the trash as I walked out. If I haven't got the coupon from that restaurant if it had came in the mail as a nationwide promotion I would have understood. The fact they, at this restaurant, gave it to me means it should have been valid. So I will not be back for more of your average food. I can stop at better bbq places in Lubbock before I drive to Seminole or go next door to the always busy but fast service Bushes chicken for better food. The one thing you had going for you was convenience and you are no longer that. Goodbye.

Sat at drive thru for 10 mins listening to the girls inside talk to each other and not even acknowledging I was at the drive thru. Went to window and ordered and they gave me everything wrong. This place needs to be under new ownership or something they cannot get anything right. And they never offer to fix anything.

Very disappointing experience. The waitresses were extremely rude from the moment we walked in. There was no greeting, no willingness to help, and their attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Because of how we were treated, we decided to leave without ordering anything. Customer service is essential in a restaurant, and unfortunately this place failed completely in that aspect. I would not recommend it based on our experience.

Flew into Seminole Texas. Usually Dickey’s is a great go to place for good smoked food. Not always the “best” BBQ , but a great back up. This place was the exception. It was dirty, poor lethargic customer service, small portions, and worst off cold brisket. These folks aren’t even trying. I usually get the double meat to make two meals out of it. It was more of a big single serving. Each table hadn’t been wiped off. Forks and napkins on the floor Employees too busy on their phones to ever help…

We stopped here on a whim, not wanting to wait too late to eat as we traveled between New Mexico and Louisiana. I normally read many reviews before deciding where to eat... this time we didn't. It showed 4+ stars, so we gambled. That was a mistake. Apparently it USED to get a lot of 5-star reviews, but not anymore. As many others have said (over at least the last year), the meat was cold. The baked potato I ordered for myself was overbaked, with several hard/burned spots on the skin. When I asked the woman taking my order what toppings I had to choose from (as it didn't say on the menu hanging from the ceiling), she said, "Sour cream, butter, cheese..." When I got the receipt, it also said bacon, green onions and many other things I didn't order because I didn't know they had them. The macaroni and cheese wasn't anything exciting, the noodles were actually too soft to add any texture. They didn't have the bbq beans my husband wanted, so we opted for the baked potato casserole instead, which basically tasted like mashed potatoes with cheese on them. The best thing we got from there was the plastic cup... it's a good reminder to not go back. It was a huge disappointment. After we left, I went back and read the reviews... too many people with the same complaints we had over at LEAST the last 12 months for some of these issues (like the cold meat) to not be corrected. It was clean in the dining area and restrooms. The potato salad wasn't too bad. But none of it was worth the $40 we spent for 2 people. And I definitely didn't get $8 worth of baked potato. Not a fan of being asked to tip before being able to taste the food and fully evaluate the experience. I tipped, but wish I could take it back.
