In October 2024 we had the most delightful and memorable dinner here, at the last available small table downstairs at the entrance in front of the lower bar. Even at the last table, the food, service and atmosphere were just so special, not the least of which was the white truffle. Carli, our server, was fabulous. The chef Marco outdid himself, and of course the wine was abundant, local and meaningful. The bottle of 2015 Guido Porro Lazzaraisco was a standout. We also had a very special invite back the next morning for cappuccini before heading out on our bikes into the tempest. Thank you to the wonderful team at Tre Case.

The food is of very high quality. We had our lunch in an interior terrasse. It was hot although they provide some shadows. A wide offer of local wines.
Amazing food and amazing wine list. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Piemonte. Their poached egg with fontina cheese was unreal, the best egg dish I’ve had. Their tajarin with truffle was really good too. Everything was great and best of all they have a great wine list with good prices. Around the corner from the restaurant there is a tower/part of a castle, nice view for walking around a bit after dinner.
Today, I had the pleasure of lunching at Osteria Tre Case in Serralunga d'Alba, a charming spot in Piemonte that feels almost like home. The atmosphere was cozy, and I opted to dine al fresco, enjoying the lovely weather. My meal consisted of eggs with truffles, tajarin al ragu, apricot gelato, a glass of Barolo (cru Gianetto), and an espresso. Each dish was exceptional, showcasing the chef's (Marco Ruata) skillful blend of traditional techniques with modern twists. The high-quality ingredients clearly made a difference. I was also impressed by the delicious bread and focaccia. The recommended wine was outstanding, earning a 92-94 rating from me, and the coffee was equally impressive. The service was top-notch! If you're in the Alba or Asti area, Osteria Tre Case is definitely worth a visit. Note: I was deeply sorry for the waiter who had to deal with two particular foreign guests. These two young women seated nearby were causing quite a scene speaking loudly and making unusual drink requests like Coke Zero and a large iced coffee with extra ice and skimmed milk. Their comments about the menu and service were inappropriate, and they seemed out of place in an Italian establishment. The waiter, who is fluent in both Italian and English, had to patiently deal with their demanding behavior, which was likely stemming from unfamiliarity with local culture and traditions. I believe they were probably missing chain coffee shops like Starbucks.

This was our first time visiting Osteria Tre Case, and we loved it! The menu offers a great combination of classic Piemontese dishes as well as some different creative and delicious creations. Beautiful presentations, and delicious food! We will be back soon!

We had a decent dinner here and the quality of the food was really good as well as the wine. Our only complaint was that several dishes were way too liquid for our liking such potato purée and tiramisu. I just think they were trying too hard to be different and inventive and they didn’t have to.

We went here for lunch. The vitello tonnato was great. The ragu was a bit too saucy for my liking but the taste was decent. The tiramisu was huge but very light. The terrasse itself was very warm with limited air flow - it would be impossible to sit there in summer.
The service at this restaurant was impeccable, characterized by kindness, attentiveness, and helpfulness. Dining on the terrace offered a magical ambiance that greatly enhanced the experience. However, the food did not quite live up to expectations, particularly in terms of the flavor profiles of the ingredients used, especially the meats. The Tiramisu was notably disappointing on this occasion.
The place looks good in general. One issue stops me from posting a very good review. When we paid for our dinner, the person didn't even try to return us the change. I would like to be able to decide myself how much tip will I leave. For me it was a big turnoff. Otherwise, the food, and the service were very good.
Unfortunately we had to wait for an hour between our dishes while other tables got their food. When I got the pasta the ravioli had boiled too hard/for too long. Not worth the price.
Well if you want to taste truffle pasta with very little truffle this is the place. Frankly the portion were ridiculous. Atmosphere there is none. Would not recommend and will not come back.
Modern interior, good food and great wine selection. The dining and drinking experience was delicious, we had a perfect 2009 Pira Vignarionda for a fair price. Three star reduction for customer service. We needed a meal documentation for a company dinner. Since the registry was down due to internet issues the owner promised us to send it afterwards. Never happened despite two attempts via email. That’s how you lose customers, we won‘t return although the food is worth it.
They took our reservation and there was no table available, which they communicated to us half an hour before our reservation. The phone number on their website also does not work but they do not have any seats without reservation, which we tried the evening before. I wonder what kind of customer service this place is targeting, waste of time…
