Lunch date with fiancé ...so glad we went here. We wanted something different...Service was phenomenal. Being our first time here, our server showed us the menu and made suggestions. He had lamb with korma and i had fish with curry ...the garlic bread was so tasty. The food was exceptional. We will be having lunch and dinner dates here again. Its very family friendly also, cant wait to take others here. Outstanding!!!
Waitress was absolutely great. Sanuso I think was her name. She didn’t write a thing down and nailed it all. Offered amazing suggestions and added to the experience. Food hit the spot and took a lot home. Enjoyed the leftovers too:)fried noodles were a lovely surprise and the chili dumplings exploded with flavor. Naan was perfect!
My first time here I got the butter chicken at a 3 and it was delicious. My second time I got curry chicken at a 4 and it was even better than I thought it was going to be. At heat level 4 it was definitely spicy! I can't even imagine what a 5 would be but I'm curious to try it. Their curry chicken has definitely become my favorite paired with garlic naan. The garlic naan is so good.
I thought I went in the wrong door looking for pho when I saw 2 African American waitresses, nice ladies by the way. Looked out the window and it was the right place. Burgers seem to be their main specialty, but the pho was one of best I ever had! Excellent broth, brisket, noodles, and veggies; P2 large baby! The spring rolls were freshly made, super soft rice wrap. Topo Chico what! Is this heaven?! Vietnamese coffee to go, I'm set!
Great lamb vindaloo, I drive 90 miles every month or so and pick up 2 or 3 orders to go, so I can have it in the freezer when I'm in the mood for spicy. Good service, excellent food.
This place is phenomenal, by far my favorite restaurant in Sherman. The food is amazing, the service is unbeatable, it's just great all around. They have lots of vegetarian and vegan dishes, you can't miss the lunch buffet. My wife and I try to go every time we get paid, there's always different things on the buffet. We always get overstuffed, but unlike some buffets you don't feel hungry a couple hours later. We'll go in for lunch and just skip dinner all together.
Absolutely amazing food and even better customer service! They were really patient with me and all my questions, offered suggestions on what food I should try, and extremely helpful when it came to explaining the spice level. Please do yourself a favor and get away from the same boring fast food in this area and give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!
Absolutely delicious authentic Indian restaurant. Our waiter Douglas was very accommodating and welcoming. The Butter Chicken level 3 was exceptional, perfect amount of heat and the sauce and chicken were perfect! I highly recommend and will definitely be back!
I ordered catering from here and it was an amazing experience! They started offering catering relatively recently, and when I saw that I decided to give it a shot for an event and was not disappointed at all! The woman I coordinated with was extremely nice and worked with me to make sure I got exactly what I needed in terms of quantity and variety for a really good price (which you can pay for up front or half at the time of ordering and half the day of pickup)! You will need to provide your own warmers/serving utensils/plates/cutlery, but this wasn’t a big deal at all for my group. The food was delicious and was a smash hit with the group, I would definitely highly recommend!
Still really enjoy this place, food is great and it's a great place to be able to have a conversation without the music playing too loud. This a new find for me and I was surprised but the quality of food and friendliness of the staff.
Delicious! We ordered lamb naan, butter chicken, and lamb curry. This is replacing my comfort food. Can’t wait to come back!
Waiting for my to go order now. The first time was the Sunday buffet. VERY GOOD. If not careful you will leave miserable from overeating. Loved the butter chicken , and the chicken and lamb curry. Trying the goat curry today ....take out today I would highly recommend this place
Our family loves Mt. Everest! Junu, Susma, and everyone in the kitchen has always been so sweet to us & we always enjoy the food. The korma and butter chicken are our favorites, but everything on the menu looks delicious. Thank you for adding a little variety to Grayson County!
By far my favorite restaurant! I’ve never had a dish I didn’t like! I love to try something new, but it’s hard not to get the Korma every time.
Came back and tried the buffet: A nice chicken assortment, butter chicken was awesome, chicken pokora was my favorite, fresh baked naan delivered with a smile to my table. The atmosphere really stood out. Cozy and lively. Original: Tried the Chicken Platter: tandoori, hariyala, & seekh kabab and everything was great. Generous portions, charming atmosphere. Will definitely be going back for more!
Food was so tasty . Service was good . Everybody was so nice and friendly kind of give a family environment. If you need a different and delicious food you must visit this place .
Edit 8/8/2024: after taking several months of a break, I decided to give them another shot. I’ve gone twice this month and both times the food was PERFECT. Exactly as described, full of flavor, spicy level 1 was amazing and just like it used to be but also felt there was more flavor. Thank you guys for making the necessary changes as I’ve missed having a solid Indian place so close, and I’ve missed my paneer kadai so much. Had it today and was thrilled. Looking forward to being a regular customer once again!! Orginal: So. I have ordered takeout at Mt Everest for years, it used to be one of the most consistent local places and I love all of the different vegetarian options! It's been amazing to have in town, and I always love supporting local businesses that are not of the typical chain/boring American food variety. However, Im not sure what's changed as of recently, if it's the kitchen staff or management or recipes or what, but it's been really different and very disappointing. Everyone is so kind and the place is as clean as always, but the quality and taste of the same dishes I've been ordering and loving for years have been tasteless and disappointing and vastly lower in quality lately. Ive always swapped between the Aloo curry and the paneer kadai, and the 3 times I've had it recently (last 6 weeks or so), both dishes have been bland and flavorless. Today for the rice, it was totally plain rice instead of the typical rice with herbs I've been served LITERALLY every single other time I've ordered here. The paneer kadai has been two entirely different dishes the last two times I've ordered it. The first was an almost inedible and tasteless red sauce with broccoli and tomatoes but no bell peppers, truly unsure what the mix up was there, so tried it again today hoping for what it used to be. Today, the sauce was bland (better than last time but nothing like it used to be), and it only had a total of 3 small pieces of multi colored bell peppers, and again broccoli which isn't listed as a part of the meal. It used to be a great mix of the paneer and the red and green bell peppers and onions. Truly I just miss how that meal used to be so so much, definitely confused about the changes. I also feel like the garlic naan has been way tougher than usual and I haven't been able to tear it apart as easily. I've always ordered at a spicy 1 because anything above that used to be too much for me, I'm not super tolerant of very spicy foods, and tried spice levels up to 3 a long time ago to determine what I liked best and settled at 1. Previously, the food was consistent and full of flavor and not bland at all even when it was mild, but now I'm wondering if that entire spice ranking system has changed along with the recipes. Idk I'm just sad about one of my favorite places for years tasting SO MUCH different and for the worse, I was hoping it was a one off situation and wouldn't have posted this review were it not for the three negative takeout experiences in a row. Again, I love this place and have eaten here for a really long time and it was so consistent and one of my comfort places to eat, but it's just been so disappointing and it will likely be a long while until I order here again which is a shame. I'm not going to rate it any lower because I have loved it for so long, and I will be holding out hope for the quality, flavor, and consistency to return.
I have no idea why this place is not always packed. It's the only Himalayan place in town and it is wonderful. If you're not familiar with this type of food don't be afraid to give it a shot. The staff is extremely helpful and will explain the dishes to you. Best kept secret in town.
Food was amazing, when they ask you what level of spice, I would suggest saying lower than you think you can handle. However even though it was very spicy the flavor was still incredible. The menu is huge and has plenty of variety, so spicy is far from the only choice. Highly recommend checking this place out.
Wow there is a Nepalese/Indian/AND Tibetan option in Sherman?! We visited for dinner and were impressed with the delicious food and reasonable prices. We ordered a few curries to share and appetizers. Our favorite appetizer was the Himalayan spice dumplings. You've gotta try this place!
My husband and I ate here when the previous owners was there, I must say the new owners have a talent. This is delicious and enjoyable to experience for all
Really comfortable atmosphere. The food is absolutely outstanding. Their naan bread is to die for. Love this place and the people who work there are always so kind! <3
This is the only real restaurant inside sherman denison area..they have real food that is cooked and prepared perfectly. The waitress is amazing ,very polite, attentive and so sweet. The food is very fresh and I hope and pray the community backs them in their attempt to bring delicious food to the area. They have the best food in Texoma and their menu is out of this world in choices. You don't have to drive to plano to eat Indian food any more.. If you have never tried Indian food then stop eating fast food and try this place because they are amazing people and their food is perfect every time. Again this is coming from a Texas Firefighter and i have eaten every single restaurant here time and time again.. this place is the best of Texomaland..trust me
Ok ok ok ima little disappointed because I was very excited to try this place for the first time and they forgot my garlic naan. But it’s all good because I ordered a level 5 and when I say it was delicious, it was nice and spicy just how I like my spices to hit! Ima just call her lil sue but hey thank you for those peppers!!!!!! They were very tasty and spicy! I was surprised when I ate one how truly spicy they were thank u again! Next time I come back you guys owe me some garlic naan lol! Foods amazing will be coming bacc fasho!!!
The absolute best Indian food. So good, authentic and always great service every time I can’t say enough good things about this place.
The food was excellent. The restaurant staff was very friendly in accommodating us even though we were there close to restaurant closing time. We had a great experience. We will come back soon !
The food is fantastic. Always great. The flavors they develop are just so elevated. It’s our favorite Indian/Nepalese food in DFW. And the portion sizes are generous so we always have leftovers. The people are very friendly and if dining in they will bring you samples of other foods sometimes. Truly, the only thing off about this place is the interior. It’s just not inviting. However, it’s Sherman, so atmosphere when dining isn’t really expected.
Really enjoyed the food. The waitress was very polite and attentive. Great indian food.
This place is truly a hidden gem that has become one of my absolute favorite spots in town. Their Indian and Nepalese dishes are packed with authentic flavor and made with so much care — you can tell the chefs take pride in every meal they serve. My personal favorite is the Butter Chicken; it’s rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with tender pieces of chicken and the most delicious sauce. I love it so much that I find myself ordering to-go several times a month, and it’s always consistently amazing! The food is fresh, the portions are generous, and the aroma alone makes your mouth water before you even take a bite. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and always happy to see us come in! Mt. Everest Grill & Bar is a must-try if you’re in Sherman — a true standout for anyone who loves flavorful, high-quality Indian and Nepalese cuisine!
The lamb vindaloo is phenomenal, if you haven’t visited yet it’s the only place within miles that you can get authentic Nepalese food and you’re missing out 🤌🏻 the garlic naan is also a must buy
The food is great and compares with finer restaurants in the Dallas area. The service is also excellent. This place has really been transformed by the new managers in the last 2 years! Highly recommend this place if you love Indian Food.
First time trying nepal food and let me say i’m not disappointed and I will soon be making my return. They explained everything to me on the menu consistency, texture, taste an all of the above. They were also more than welcoming. very fresh food
This place is AWESOME!! It gets better and better everytime I visit! I love the people, the atmosphere, the music, and, my goodness, the food!! We don't have many places like this, and I know it can be different, but life is all about new and fun experiences, so like my daddy told me, "Things can be different, and different things aren't always bad." Please try the butter chicken in the buffet, you won't regret it! it's always my go-to! God bless!
At on a Wednesday at lunch time..Spoke with the chef and got his recommendations for some Nepalese food. Chose the spicy chicken momo which is a thin skinned dumpling stuffed with chicken, herbs and spices in a tomato based sauce with onion, bell peppers, lemon and cilantro. It was very tasty. Also had some garlic Naan which was tender and flavorful. Knocked the atmosphere to 4 stars since there was some loud pop music playing for a bit then eventually it was switched to nice instrumental music which was much nicer to enjoy a meal with and it fits the restaurant ambience much better.
The food was absolutely amazing! We got the Chicken Pakora,Lamb Skewers,Tandoori Chicken,Butter Chicken,Goat Biryani and Fluffy Naan and sweet Delicious Lassi they were all phenomenal, warm, and delicious………. Spice on the food is as we need ……the person help on pick the food was well knows the food recommendations highly recommended
I have been waiting a week to check out their buffet and I was shocked. It was AMAZING! It's Indian, Nepalese and Tibetan. Not only was the food exquisite, but the people there were so sweet and accommodating. This is one of the best places we've had in Sherman in a long time, maybe ever. The buffet is from 11:30 - 3:00 and is $11.99 but I strongly encourage you to try it. The absolute only complaints I had was bone in chicken and country music.
Biryani had too many anise pods, bay leaves and some other hard inedible pieces left in the pot. My girl mentioned it as well. Tasted pretty good though.
Honestly, this may be the best food in Sherman. Extremely high quality ingredients, friendly service, vaaaast menu with a ton of variety, and most importantly everything had amazing flavor. If you find yourself in Grayson county and want some legitimate Indian food, this is your place hands down. I will be back, thank you for having a great place to eat.
Best meal I have had in a long time! Friendly staff and atmosphere. The menu is huge with a great variety, I'll definitely be back to try more. I had enough for lunch and dinner. 😋 The food was full of spices and flavors that were crafted fresh in the kitchen. You can tell they put love into what they do. 😁
Recently celebrated my birthday at Mt. Everest Grill & Bar. Without asking the restaurant staff decorated my table and baked me a delicious cake. Food and staff are amazing and I will definitely be going back soon!
The service was slightly better than the food but you can't compete with exceptional! Some of the best butter chicken I've had in a long time!!
Don't let the humble exterior fool you. This place has phenomenal food and friendly, helpful staff. Biryani is my go-to comfort food, and Mt. Everest Grill absolutely knocked it out of the park! Recipes come with an adjustable spice level of 1-5. They also have tons of vegetarian options. I will be back again and again and again.
The nicest people and the most amazing food. We absolutely stuffed ourselves, the portions are so generous. There's something for everyone on the menu, I had a sceptical eater with me who fell in love with the chicken momo and everyone loved the mango lassi. The lamb rogan josh was absolutely delicious. They even had a little table of Christmas gift ideas, nothing was pushed it was just there to look at. The service was so friendly, you really have to try this place.
This food is amazing! The butter chicken was mouth watering,(I'm craving it right now!) the portions were generous. The owners are so pleasant and accommodating. It felt more like being guests rather than customers. I had the lamb kebabs and garlic naan, made to order in tandoori oven. The lunch buffet was so good and the owner was gracious enough to allow me to try everything on it. I'm normally timid when it comes to getting a buffet style meal in an unfamiliar cuisine because I want to know what I'm eating and didn't wish to be embarrassed. It was such a great experience to be welcomed so warmly and have each dish explained to me. Yes, pretty much just talked myself into it. Definitely going again tomorrow on Sunday morning, for late lunch! Wow!
Hands down my favorite place in Texoma! Would eat here every day if I could. Been here so many times and not once had a bad experience (aside from a bad date lol). Staff is always really nice and attentive. Food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I love spicy foods, but have had to tone down due to health issues over the past few years. Love that I can come here and still get something with a little spice and incredible flavor. I have a brother that's a vegetarian and I keep meaning to bring him here because they have such an awesome selection of vegetarian friendly dishes which isn't always easy to find in this area.
My partner and I ate here at night on Friday. It was absolutely awesome and delicious. The food was as advertised if not even better. Not to mention we had exceptional service, the sweetest lady who accommodated all of our needs. I recommend this place to anyone in town or coming to town. Amazing.
This is my new favorite restaurant. Over 50% of the menu is naturally gluten free. The protwin choices include chicken, lamb, goat, fish, and shrimp. All the dishes we tried were absolutely delicious and the waitstaff was knowledgeable and kind. We asked them to play traditional East Indian music instead of current pop stule music, and they obliged. It made all the difference to us!. The beer/wine was reasonably priced, and they brought out complimentary lentil chips that were so good! The finish to any Indian meal is the "mukwas" to aid in digestion and palate cleansing. They had it! Will definitely go there again soon!
I've always thought of food as an adventure. Tonight's Butter Chicken was just that. It was my first Indian-Napolese- Tibetan dish. I'll admit I'm not familiar with all of the spices and flavors. I recognized the garlic, ginger, and I'm thinking coriander. The sauce was rich, colorful, tomato butter sauce with a silky texture. The fragrance alone made me want to dive in. It was a beautiful, complex balance of spices ranging from sweet to savory, with a perfect heat level of 2 out of 5. Finished with a smooth spiced rum and splash of coke. Super friendly staff, live music tonite with Danny from Aunt Pearls Biscuits and Dave Christen. Customers came to eat and stayed until the show was over! Kudos to the chef! Go check them out!
I had a wonderful experience at Mt. Everest Grill and Bar. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service made the evening extra special. A special mention to Sushma, who was absolutely excellent. She was attentive, professional, and very smart in handling everything with a smile. Her warm personality and impressive service really stood out and made the visit memorable. Highly recommend this place, and I’ll definitely be coming back!
This jewel of a restaurant served my wife and I some of the best vegetarian meal. The food came out hot, fresh, and extremely tasty!!! The staff there was exceptional. Don't walk, run and get you some of the tastiest food that Sherman has to offer!!!
It's my birthday and this was the only place I wanted to be for lunch! The food is always OUTSTANDING (try the chili chicken and chicken momo, you will not be sad...you're welcome) and the lunch buffet is just as good quality as ordering off the menu. The owners are so kind along with all of the staff ❤️ This place is a gem, please tell all your friends! Forgive the mostly empty pan of chili chicken, I didn't think to take a picture before we got hold of it 😂😂
Wow, where has this place been all my life?! From the moment we walked in, I knew we were in for something special. The food here is absolutely out of this world! Every bite is bursting with flavor, and you can tell it's made with love and care. Whether you're craving something savory or sweet, there's something on the menu that will leave you speechless. It's the kind of meal you think about long after you've left the table. But it’s not just the food that makes this place a gem—it's the incredible service that truly sets it apart. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and taken care of from the moment you step through the door. They're friendly, attentive, and genuinely happy to be there, which adds so much to the overall experience. You can tell they take pride in what they do, and it shows. We absolutely love coming here, and it’s quickly become one of our favorite spots. It’s like a hidden secret tucked away in the Lake Texoma area, and I can’t believe more people don’t know about it. If you’re ever near the lake, do yourself a favor and stop by! You won’t regret it, and I guarantee it will become one of your go-to places as well!
Highly recommend this place! Our food as so good! You can be full from your entree so just be prepared for to-go box-ing your food if you also get appetizers and bread. The masala tea was great! Ask for it without cream if you don’t want it. Our waitress was great and it smelled good and looked clean in the restaurant. Great labeled vegan options!
The food was absolutely amazing! I got the veggie samosas, spiced chai, garlic naan, and two entrees. They were all phenomenal, warm, and delicious. Spice levels go up to 5. We got a 2 and a 4 and there was an appropriate difference for our spice preferences. The chutneys were also wonderful!
8/10. Over all amazing flavors! Me and my bf loved it! The hot & spicy chicken soup was amazing, it was spicy with good flavors. We got a level three, and we love spicy stuff. I thought it was perfect!! The garlic naan was good, looked and tasted like fresh garlic! The sauce in our Tiki Marsala had amazing flavors as well, highly recommend! The chicken dumplings we’re good, good sauce on the side too, not a fav but good! Our server recommended them to us. I love the mango lassi I recommend trying if you haven’t!
We tried Mt Everest Grill & Bar today. According to Google it’s a Mediterranean / Indian style restaurant, and the reviews made it sound like a large buffet where you could sample a lot of different things. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while but life stays busy, and the Sunday lunch buffet was the only time we could make it work. When we walked in, the first thing we noticed was the incense. The smell was pretty strong and a little overwhelming at first. We seated ourselves and the waitress came by fairly quickly and got our drinks. The menu itself has a ton of items I’d never even heard of, which honestly made me curious to try a lot of things. Since we were new, she suggested the buffet so we could sample several dishes. So we went with the buffet. I’ll be honest — it didn’t quite live up to what I was expecting. The naan was really good, and the egg rolls were good as well. The sauces were probably my favorite part. Both the sweet sauce and the green sauce had great flavor. The rice was a little dry and chewy, and the three different chicken dishes on the buffet were mild and a little dry for my taste. That said, nothing tasted bad and everything seemed hot and freshly put out. It may very well be exactly how those dishes are meant to be prepared, or the buffet might just not be the best way to experience what they do. The service was good and the staff was friendly, which we appreciated. So I’m curious for the folks who go here regularly what dishes should we order next time? Maybe the buffet isn’t the move and ordering off the menu is where this place really shines.
Update: With new owners, we've started returning to the restaurant. The menu has changed, as have some recipes. Much cleaner! Beer and buffet have been nice additions. We found the food to be enjoyable and exciting (considering the area), enough to frequent every month or so over the last year. Our last visit in August was near closing time - as people cleared out and cleaning began, we were met with numerous rats running across the floor, in and out of holes in the walls, and scurrying above us in the ceiling. Super disappointed - Can't bring ourselves to go back.
If I could rate it 10stars I would! It is by far my favourite restaurant in Sherman. I ordered the Chicken Curry with garlic naan bread, and some chef naan bread. My husband ordered the Lamb Biryani. You can choose your spice level we both got a 4. *we eat A LOT of spicy so we can handle it both getting a 5 next time* if you're not a spicy person probably stick to a 1 or 2. The meat was cooked perfectly, the curry & naan was to die for!!! 10/10 on the food! Poor girl was the only waitress & she stayed moving from table to table to kitchen to drink station! She never complained & approached with a smile! Very kind even though you could see she was exhausted!
My husband and I get takeout from here all the time, and it’s always so good! Everything we’ve tried has been super flavorful and tastes really authentic. The butter chicken is hands down our favorite, especially with the garlic naan. We usually just stick to takeout since the inside isn’t very cozy and smells a bit to strongly of cleaner, but the food is always worth it!
Delicious food and great service. The butter chicken was amazing and the naan is second to none. I could eat the chicken 65 everyday of the week, bursting with flavor. Love it!
Visited for the first time today with my husband and kids. It wasnt busy when we got there around 6. There was only two other people sitting at another table together. They didn't change the inside much from when it was jungle burger except paint over some things. Theres now a buffet on the far side. It was closed when we got there. Both me and my husband ordered the chicken Tikka masala. His spicy mine not. With regular naan bread. One order of the tikka could have fed us both really. Just get extra naan because they only give you four. We know now for next time. My daughter wanted to try the dumplings. We got an order of the chicken momos fried. They had really good flavor. Next time we will try stremed instead. My son wanted chicken nuggets because he didnt like the food( kinda picky when it comes to new things but he did like the dumplings) not sure if what they served him was one order but it was alot of nuggets. It was a good first experience. Will be back.
The atmosphere I think would be a struggle, but the service was great. They were kind enough to let us order and eat in versus take out as we arrived 30 minutes before closing. The Mango Lassi was very good and our other food was made to order and just as tasty. Look forward to ordering from them again. As of 3/1/2024 Mt. Everest has re-instituted their lunch buffet. It is a small buffet with fresh hot food. The only downside I noticed is the salad was starting to turn brown.
Update: New owners over the years haven't kept the flavors and authenticity. It's edible, but no longer the best I've had. Wish they could go back to how it was before in the picture below! I can't believe I'm saying this but this is better than any Indian food than I have ever had in DFW and I've tried many! The veggie pakora and tomato soup were spot on, flavors were authentic and quality is top notch. If you've never tried this kind of food, you are in for a treat! Service is prompt and kind as well. There is not a lunch menu but worth the price and portions are more than generous. A very surprising gem of a find in Sherman!!!
I recently tried the lunch buffet here and overall it was good. The food that was available tasted fresh and flavorful, and the service was pleasant. However, the selection was a bit limited compared to what I expected from a buffet, with fewer options than were listed on the menu. I was also looking forward to the dessert that was advertised, but unfortunately none was available during my visit. Still a decent lunch, but it would be nice if the buffet matched the menu more closely.
NOT GLUTEN FREE! Their menu has a bunch of stuff labeled gluten free, it's is not, I found out the hard way. My first red flag is when I said that I have a gluten allergy, the waitress looked at me confused. However I decided to give it a try anyways, hoping the cook knew something. I have now been regretting this decision for a week. I have been in a lot of pain, and am sad that I didn't find another restaurant I could eat at. Service was okay, atmosphere was all right, in the food don't get me wrong was pretty good. But unfortunately it is not actually gluten-free like it says on the menu. If you have a gluten allergy, or have celiac disease, I'm sorry we cannot eat here.
The lamb kabobs were yummy. The staff seemed a lil short handed but man she did her best & was amazing!! Seriously like superwoman.
It was pretty good for its location. I think it’s the only Indian food around. In terms of best Indian food it would be a 4/10 on a scale of restaurants in the Sherman area 7/10
My Indian food experience in Texas was here for the first time.. with the reviews nice I expected more. Ordered the samosa chaat.. i would rate it 2 out of 5... The chickepeas are just white... i expect chole in it... It definetly has room for improvemnt. The second dish i had as they are more nepali with a tibetian twist was the chili chicken momos...that was good .... its a 4 out of 5... I was satisfied with that.. The main reason to visit there was to try the Biriyani... Tried the mutton as their community is well know for their Mutton... You failed me there... your biriyani could use more flavour.... 2.5 out of 5... Spice levels .... you have to figure that out mate... Your staff the host was very nice. Wishing you all the very best. I see you guyz have great potential.
I tried Mt. Everest Bar and Grill recently. The food is authentic and has potential, but it’s missing the rich taste and flavor you’d expect from traditional dishes. It wasn’t bad—just not quite memorable. The service was fine, and the atmosphere was decent. Overall, it’s an okay spot, but I hope they work on enhancing the flavor to match the authenticity.
The food was delicious, and did not disappoint. The service and atmosphere were abysmal, at best. There was no attention paid to any patron whatsoever except taking the order and delivering the food. The atmosphere was nonexistent. Overall the only reason to be there is to pickup a to-go order. Get the rice pudding. It's a sweet and cooling treat after a delicious meal.
Went to eat I was craving a good burger refused to served us and told us they closed today till July 4 ... and now on the door they are demanding customers tip their servers. My spouse was a customer for a long time. You just lost a family of 3 customers. I'm not being demanded tipping I tip rating of the quality of service by the staff and server ...
Maybe all Indian food is not great. It certainly isn't at tis restaurant. The wife got sick before finishing her food. My food seemed over cooked as well as being too spicy to enjoy. Not for us ever again.
I thought i would give these guys another try before I go the new Indian restaurant but no that was a bad idea the chicken tasted like it was from yesterday and reheated and thrown into the sauce the rice tasted like it wasnt covered and dried out the naan looks and taste like tissue and the sause for the tikka masala was too hot and it was just level 3 spice out of 5 the chicken 65 was way to greasy they have variety but they take too long to cook it my food was ready after 50 minutes if your looking for good indian food go else where
I took down my original review but decided I'm putting this back up since I was lied too, will go into detail about that. Last month I ordered from this place and couldn't eat anything and threw away $42 dollars worth of food, not sure if it was just spoiled or what but everything was nasty. The owner called me back and seemed very upset about the review and the food, I told him originally I just wanted a refund, however he was persistent on redoing the order for me so of course I don't mind giving second chances but all I wanted was my refund, I was extremely disappointed in the food and really just didn't want anymore. The owner brought the food to me the next day, not sure what happened but I got extremely sick to my stomach and was on the toilet off and on for hours, had to leave my job early. I ended up texting him from the number he called me from and explained what happened and that I threw everything out once again, I just wanted my refund, this has been an awful and disgusting experience with this restaurant and the owner is a liar and doesn't keep to his word that we agreed too, I kept to my word and removed my original review but these people obviously do not operate on any morals or values. It's now February 5th and this happened around January 21st. I would never recommend this place to anyone and have been telling people to steer clear.
Would all be 0 stars if allowed!! I specifically asked the owner as many questions regarding the menu due to the the place being under new ownership - she was very dismissive and constantly replied the menu is the same and everything served as before - well that is not the case - the lentil soup which used to be beany in nature is now a vegetable soup!! When the soup and naan bread finally arrived - some 20 minutes later - I again tried speaking with the owner about how this was not as she said - and again - she was dismissive and unwilling to communicate with a patron!! To sum it up - a ragtag customer thought it a good idea to insert himself into the non-conversation- which didn’t work out well for him - just shows how people don’t care about the service or product provided as long as they get paid - and especially don’t think there will be any pushback!!
