This has to be the best experience I have had for a fast food restaurant. I have Celiac and I needed special handling of my Unwich. The manager knew what to do and trained team members in what was required. This was so refreshing. The restaurant was very clean. The manager was awesome. I highly recommend this location.

By FAR the best Jimmy John's experience I have ever been to and I travel from state to state. Food was made fresh and you can tell that they take pride in what they do!! Will be coming back.

I got the spicy Italian that was absolutely wonderful. This was my first Jimmy John's. It was absolutely wonderful because it looks like there was more meat on the sandwich then bread!!!! 🤤 Yes siree I will be back!!!!

My first time at this location, walked in everyone said welcome, busy crew. I ordered my #1 and gentleman at the register asked if I would like anything else. I said yes a small drink, he said the drink is on the house sir! I was like wow okay. He was very nice, the crew working lunch hour is very good I will use this location every time from here on out. I have been using McKinney location or Allen. But this is my new to go to Jimmy's!! Keep up the good work!!

A fantastic spot for sandwiches! The workers are always super friendly. For a chain restaurant, they really feel like a local spot. Workers will recognize you and go out of their way to make your trip fantastic! Honestly, my favorite place to go out to eat!

I've had nothing but amazing experiences at the Sherman location and I totally disagree with previous commentator's review because I was there at the time, and do not recall witnessing any of the accusations made and I don't appreciate people falsifying information. She needs to remember what they taught us in elementary school aside from spelling, that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I shall pray for her dear, misguided soul. Came on today, a Saturday, and only one person was working. She was very friendly and efficient, apologized for the wait. My wife asked for a lot of customizations and usually when she does that, her order comes out wrong. But even though this person was all by herself, she made everything perfectly and it was so good.

First time trying this establishment and I was not disappointed. I had the turkey wrapped in lettuce. I could have ate two of them. The husband had the turkey on a sub roll and he said the bread tasted fresh. Definitely will return.

we never get to eat Jimmy Johns as the closest one is an hour away from us. It is our top favorite place to eat, but we only get to have it once or twice a year. Today we were in Sherman Texas dropping off a friend and found a Jimmy Johns on the way home. We stopped in to get a sandwich only to find that the Credit card machine was down and we had no cash. I said something along the lines of ah man! you're breaking my heart! Upon seeing the dejected looks on our faces the lady at the register AMY paid for our sandwich despite our insistence that she didnt have to. She said she just didnt want us to leave sad and was happy to do it. We love Jimmy Johns and Amy made our whole day! We will definitely be back!

I consider myself a serious Jimmy John's critic and addict since I first ate at the original two years ago. Now everywhere I go if there is a Jimmy John's near me I make it a point to go there. Tonight I went to this Jimmy John's and they did not disappoint me and my expectations. Awesome job guys!

Was passing through coming home and decided to stop. Nothing but great service from the general manager and two girls working. Lara and Amber I believe. I work with food as well, and can tell great service when I see it. Keep it up ladies!

Had the Tai Chicken Wrap and it was delicious! I got it without the mayo....just doesn't seem right with Mayo like it's listed for how it's made. There was plenty of sauce to make it yummy Parking is a little hard to find when it's really busy but they have a drive through.

Even with the large line in the drive thru the 3 young ladies at work were so pleasant and dedicated to getting their work being accomplished. They made certain that even while I waited.I was very well taken care of. I'll return to this location specifically because of them.

What can I say you can't beat their hoagie buns taste. Can't find any sandwich shop that can beat the taste of the bread. I go there for that crunchy bread with awesome cold cut choices. My favorite is the "Gargantuan" with Jimmy's peppers. Service is fast and consistent each and every time.

Update: The owner reached out to us and did everything she could to make it right and left us happy future repeat customers. She even cared about the ranch lol. Thank you! Been a JJ customer all over the country for almost 15 yrs and have never had a bad experience or a wrong order until this location. Placed an almost $50 order through app and was asked to pay again when I went to pick up, they made us prove to them we had already paid. Then for the first time ever our order was totally messed up. The one sandwich we asked for no tomatoes was loaded with them and every other sandwich only had like 1 half of a tomato on them. No xtra bacon, or ranch as ordered and my husband said his usual seemed to have much less meat than it was supposed too. My kids sandwiches were totally wrong and mixed up so I had to deconstruct and reconstruct them in the car. We usually love JJ but wont be stopping at this location again. It’s a shame, but no matter how good a chain is it’s only as good as the employees working there and Im not sure what the deal was here.

They were busy tonight but the employee named Precious knocked it out of the park with service! Appreciated her ability to get our order correct and she offered an apology and a substitution when they were out of something we had already paid for. I wish more people still took pride in their work like she does! We will be back just because of that.

Breanna’s , Kaitlin, mat, amazing team here at Jimmy John’s. The customer service was so amazing. The food quality was outstanding. I highly recommend this sandwich called the big Greek energy. The store is very cleaned and sanitize. The restrooms are also clean and sanitized. This place is very well taken care of a highly recommend anyone to stop in and try some Jimmy John’s.

Got a Hunters club “Seth and Matthew Special” I asked them to make a sandwich so big they couldn’t fold it together and the challenge was met with a smile and and good conversation with both guys!! This is the best Jimmy John's location I have been to... The place was so clean and the staff was inviting and welcomed us as soon as we walked in... they were very friendly and Seth the new manager was pleasant to talk to and made it a nice stop on our road trip... My husband goes to this restaurant once a month for me. I love their sandwiches especially spicy Italian. Today just like 6 months ago my sandwich was sub par... The bread was so soggy it was hard to bite into. Obviously the sandwich had been made early and set there for quite some time. I know this because I cut them in half and put half in the fridge for dinner. I really hate this but I won't be asking him to go again. I think your meat is superb and everything is fresh but you can't make it ahead and put it on the bread. I hope that I am able to find something comparable because I will miss Jimmy John's.

Service is hit or miss but staff do make it right when it comes to error of the food. Every time I come in it has been a pleasurable experience. The location is clean and always has available seating. One of my most preferred sandwich shops of a chain establishment if you want consistency when traveling through town.

I love me a Jimmy Johns sandwich. Due to the excessive heat my area my fiancé and I decided to to into this restaurant and have lunch together. We went in wearing masks and sat in a corner away from everyone before removing them. Our sandwiches were promptly ready and correct the staff was polite. Thus the 3 stars. Now why only 3. While we were eating a gentleman who seemed to be the manager came in with no mask asking why the trash was piled up by the door and exhibiting his displeasure with that fact. Immediately a female associate proceeded to take it out. While she was doing this the man I assume to be the manager began to touch food, registers even moving bread from the proofer to the oven bare handed thumbs touching the bread without mask or washing his hands. He then proceeded out with a order again without washing his hands to deliver it. At this time the associate that took the trash came back in and carried a 10 min conversation with a coworker without a mask or washing her hands then without washing her hands still got a open topped drink and wandered around the food prep areas maskless and gloveless and hands unwashed. She then still unwashed gloved up and masked up to take a elderly customers order. Besides violating current Covid 19 measures this location has employees and leadership that take risks that I would have written people up for were I still in food service management.

Ordered my food to have it delivered via uber. The first delivery driver I guess got lost, so my food went back to Jimmy Johns.. the other driver made it here... I tried to call, but was unable to get anyone on the phone. Don't order their food delivery. Terrible service.

Ordered 2 turkey sandwiches,8 inch to go, did not check order when handed to me got home with 2 club sandwiches bread to hard to eat both trashed. Seem to be made a few days earlier. I was the only customer in shop, don,t know how in could have made that mistake. Especially when the gentleman asked me to repeat order twice.

I have been to another Jimmy John's in a location that was my go-to for fast, excellent service, and quality lunch. Sadly, after three times visiting this particular franchise for dinner, they need some help. Not one time have I received the order correctly. They do have a drive thru, but because of errors, I am afraid to use it. On the positive side, the quality of the food is still great. The sandwiches are always fresh and appealing. Just wish this location off the 75 in Sherman would address the service issue.

The ordering process was not good. The clerk kept interrupting. Was my first time. He kept pushing "the box". The sandwich was good but I rather it had been toasted. I was not given that option. The bread is very good otherwise I prob would have rated at a 2 star.. $6 for medium sandwich, not sure on price of "the box" or drinks.. The menu does not give those prices.. Overall not happy with the experience but the sandwich was good.

My lettuce wrap with less shredded lettuce doesn’t quite look like I thought it would. We were the only customers at the time. Upon looking at my receipt, I see where my order was not as I ordered. Apparently the Order Taker did not hear me say lettuce wrap. Only that I wanted less shredded lettuce. Never was asked what kind of bread which would have taken care of the misunderstanding. If I had known I was getting bread, I would have requested hollowed out and less mayo to keep the inside from being squeezed out of the bread. It was an okay sandwich.☹️

To summarize: this Jimmy John’s is “Freaky Slow”. We ordered through DoorDash and it took them an hour to make and have our food delivered, even though we were less than half a mile from the store. We called about thirty minutes in to check what the heck was happening and the dude just answers with “hello”. We didn’t even know if we had reached Jimmy John’s or not. Bad customer service and or training. Our food was accurate at least. Unfortunately they put about half less ingredients on my sandwich than any other store ever has so I mostly just tasted bread. I really hope this store can make some improvements and that DoorDash will take them off their list.

Service was good. However, the sandwiche surely was a joke. Half sandwiche ham and cheese. Two slices of very thin cut ham and a slice of cheese cut in two. The bread was smashed flat. I threw it out because I didn't plan to save it until my next trip to sherman.

Ordered a lettuce wrap (unwhich) and was not wrapped well/made well. Ended up needing a fork and knife to eat it like a sad salad. Also had hot peppers I didn't ask for that were more prominent than the sauce or meat.

My husband and had never been to a Jimmy John's before and we decided to try it. The person making the sandwiches was very quick. The person working the register and talking orders was complaining how she was not supposed to be working but some staff didn't show up so she had to come in and had no 'sitter' for her kids and she had to bring them in. That's fine we understood that but tables had soda or something spilled on them, trash on the table, the other tables were not wiped down . They were not busy, 2 other parties came in while we were there for a to go order and a pick up. The kids were running around not behaving . We did like the sandwich, but how the establishment was presented......we won't be returning.

This is the slowest Jimmy Johns ever. The employees were being really rude to an obviously new employee. The order was also super wrong (made by the rude employee). As a vegetarian, I ordered a vegetarian sandwich and was handed a roast beef sandwich.

Slogan should be freaky slow. Three people behind the counter, and only one was working. Placed a mobile order at 5:02. Arrived at 5:20. It’s 5:40 and we still don’t have our order. Four days later and still no word from the local store. I’d love for them to offer a reason so I can change this review. I think they just don’t care.

Got my food delivered earlier. Pasta salad had date of 2 days ago even though it looked fresh. Called store to let them know what it was dated so they could correct issue. The person that answered the phone had an attitude when I was explaining. Then proceeded to tell me "we don't serve out of date food". I wasn't accusing them or anything. Just letting them know. I knew it was probably a mistake made in prep since the potato salad didn't even have a date. I'm just flabbergasted by how I was talked to. Like I did something wrong and was bothering them. Won't happen again. There are plenty of places I can go that won't treat their customers like burdens.

Ordered ahead on the app, 15 minutes prior to showing up. They didn’t start on my sandwich until I got to the drive thru window. Handed me the sandwich, chips and cookie without a bag. I had to ask for a bag. The only reason I’m writing a review is because this is the third time they’ve messed up my order. Just like the other reviews, every experience is FREAKY SLOW!

17 minutes to get a #4 and #6. No ice in drink machine. No paper towels in bathroom. We were the only ones inside and even google maps said "less busy than usual." Love jimmy johns, but this one misses the mark big time.

Not happy to have received a phone call from a relative in pure panic because they were left all alone to run the whole establishment by themselves. What business or GM would think this is okay? For those that have had to wait in the drive thru for extremely long wait times, please do not be mad at the staff, they are doing as best as they can trying to run the whole place all by themselves! Jimmy John’s do better at treating your staff better.

online sales crush the "IN PERSON" experience. while you're standing at the register trying to make sure you order correctly (no lettuce is 1/7), the orders are rolling out of the machine like a "Z" out the register after shift. for every 3 second...another order printed. " hold on, ( worker stopping our process) these are orders, it's hitting the floor." 2024...endless knowledge at your fingertips. this is the best you do. so sick of fried texas garbage...we endure it.

They sent me a sandwich with one piece of meat on it and said I had to bring it back. I didn’t pick it up. I got delivery. They didn’t offer to send a new one, nothing. The guy told me that sandwiches come with one slice of meat. Which I’ve ordered I don’t know how many times and that’s not true. Not a good way to do businesses but these places just don’t care anymore. Take your money for very little in return.

At the Sherman location you're locked in line in the drive thru. After being stuck for about 20 minutes behind other vehicles I was told they were waiting for bread to bake, at noon! Silly me I'd purchased ice cream and it was 100+ degrees. I will not be back. If there was a zero that's what I'd give for service.

Had ordered my food for delivery around 6pm closer to 7 saw that the tracker was updated to Eat which means delivered right? But that was not the case! I received no calls , i myself had to call and was told they could not find my address (so they gave up huh) . 830pm still no food, No knock heard -845pm found food on doorstep after checking - missing food

Horrible lady making sandwiches behind the counter had the worst customer service skills I’ve ever seen also extremely rude to her fellow coworkers. Because of this employee I will not be returning to this establishment.

I will not be returning to this Jimmy John’s. I ordered a ham & cheese slim. The sandwich had 1 thin slice of ham & 1/2 slice of cheese for $6 (just the sandwich). They are taking shrinkflation to a whole new level.

Pull up to the drive up window and finally someone comes to take my order I hope. But that didn't happen. I was told they are not open because no staff has shown up. Poor management if you ask me. Close the doors if you can't serve the customers. So, I'm on my way to Mcallister's. So long Tony Bolonavich

This jimmy johns does not live up to the "freakin fast" ad line. Don't even bother ordering for delivery, there is always an excuse. Today after 2 hrs from the time of my order, I called to cancel. Even the drive through is slow, last time I did that I was sitting at the window for 15 minutes for 2 sandwiches, Not in line, AT THE WINDOW. I love the franchise so I've given this location a lot of chances, and the only constant is that they disappoint. save yourself grief and just eat somewhere else.

The floors were sticky. Tables were dirty. Employees were not friendly and it was the slowest service imaginable….. They served 1 group, waited til those people had eaten and left before the next order was served…It took 20 minutes to get our 1 sandwich order….and the people before us only had 2 sandwiches….I don’t think they even deserved the 1 star I gave them….

Totally not impressed at all. Walked in boxes everywhere. Walk way way cluttered. The customer service was awful! Never been inside to this location. No help on the menu. Ice machine had no ice, all sodas were flat. I told the gentleman working the drive through. But nothing was done till another complaint.No salt or pepper accessible because there was no flavor. No knife to cut the huge sandwich in half. Not impressed at all. Especially since I’m a kitchen manager myself. Not impressed at all!!!

Slowest JJ’s I’ve ever been to (and they’re still wearing the “food so fast you’ll freak!” shirts lol). I’m talking 10min for a sandwich. Not only did they get our order wrong, the person making the food WREAKED of cigarettes! Completely disgusted and didn’t even eat my sandwich. How is that even allowed??

Literally how incompetent can you be? I waited at the drive thru speaker for 5 minutes. Called the store to see if the speaker was broken for a teenager to tell me it was broken as the lady comes on to ask for my order. Then when I asked for my order the only thing I asked to not have on the sandwich was mayo and of course they can not manage to not put Mayo on it. Is it the lack of training, or the lack of education? I do not recommend solely on the worst customer service in Grayson county.

Drive thru last night cashier had on gloves when she took my payment proceeded to make sandwiches without changing gloves. Wife and I had same sandwiches but she wanted ceasar dressing. That was the difference between me getting a good night's sleep and her imprisoned in the bathroom with food poisoning. I should have just asked for a refund when I realized that if one food policy is broken chances are they are not adhering to others. Gloves are not offered to protect the employee from getting there hands dirty. They are required to keep a protective barrier during food prep from contamination of the food BY THE EMPLOYEE. DRESSING REQUIRE PROPER REFRIGERATION between usage and due dates. prep bottles replaced daily

Food is fine, however, that’s it. The service is awful. Ordered ahead online and waited 35 mins. Nothing “freaky fast” here and management should be fired or learn how to train their employees. Never should it take longer than 5 mins to make a sub. One that isn’t even cooked. You should be embarrassed. The owner should sell this establishment to someone who cares.

11:05am Monday 2-17-2020 The Girl who made my sandwich literally looked at the Guy who took my order and Confirmed Bacon. It's a measly $4.80 so I'm not driving all the way back for it. Hopefully people read the reviews, this is not the first time they've ripped me off because of the dope head highschool kids who are to lazy to put bacon on a sandwich messed an order up and the managers promote this behavior. I Love JimmyJohns, I do not love degenerates.

We were the only customers in the restaurant. And we told the boy who waited on us we had never been there before so we could look at the menu. I ordered the roast beef and told him I just wanted a six inch we couldn't see what vegetables were available and I asked him what they had he said just the usual lettuce tomatoes and onion so I said I wanted everything. I couldn't believe when I got my sandwich it was the size of a little hot dog. This kid wasn't trying to sell me anything and we were the only customers there. We decided to try Jimmy John's because all the other restaurants were packed. Now I know why Jimmy Johns wasn't. We left there and went to Taco Bell..

Going through the drive thru, the only customer in line. The guy on the intercom sounded annoyed with me as if he couldn't believe I had the audacity to order food at a food place. I ordered one sandwich for my daughter. That's it. As I'm waiting at the window to pay, my daughter and I can hear him through the window getting an attitude with the car behind me, and then when his mic was off (no customers inside...wonder why...) he starts yelling F bombs because someone ordered food so loud that my daughter could hear him through the closed window. This is not okay. I'm genuinely curious what the vetting process is for managers these days when it comes to hiring people or even monitoring their behaviors while on the clock, because service at nearly any place around here has gone straight down the toilet. This dude HATES his job and is not afraid to very explicitly express it. I blame the owners and managers more than anyone. Owners need to employ better managers, and managers need to oh, I don't know...perhaps manage once in a while? Silly idea I know, but maybe do the job you're paid to do and don't put people with short tempers and nasty mouths behind a register so small children can hear them cussing out customers for....ordering more food than he felt like making. Unreal...

Ordered a club lulu and got two barely slices of meat on my bread Sammie tonight. $14 for a sandwich that doesn't even have enough meat to count as a serving of protein. Won't be back, and the link you put under this review didn't work. So no remediation.

Came in around 3pm today, the store was empty. The front counter person took my order after I stood there for a few minutes. I wasn’t greeted or said hello to… my order was made, average quality at best. While eating, the employees in the kitchen were bickering about prep work, cursing, yelling, and complaining to each other- not a good look. This place has gone down hill fast. I sat at the counter and looked out the window to see the railing to the walkway covered in bird droppings and an over flowing trash can with no lid. This is basic restaurant cleanliness but was missing. The men’s bathroom had a cracked sink and looked like hell…. $14 sandwiches should at least buy better maintenance. I think there was a manager at the store but obviously not setting the right expectations. Last time I visit this place.

Just sad how far this place has fallen. Went in for lunch and was talking to employees, they pay their GM about the same as the kids starting at McDonald’s. Geez no wonder it took 20 mins to get my order made. At the same time I noticed about a dozen health code violations just on my visit. And the woman in charge was literally babysitting. I ate maybe 1/4 of the sandwich because of the hair, maybe hats exist for a reason.

Eat at Jimmy John’s every day. I don’t want my sandwich toasted. These people wouldn’t sell me a sandwich that wasn’t toasted. When you charge $20 for a sandwich, you should be able to have it made the way you want. I don’t get this flack from other Jimmy John locations. I won’t be back. Just because the corporate people want to toast this sandwich, doesn’t make them right. This is BS. I want freedom of choice for my sandwich Jimmy John Corporate people!!!! I’ll just go to subway and will get it made my way.

We ordered 4 sandwiches today around 4pm. Nobody there it 30 minutes the sandwich maker was chewing air biscuits and licking the ceiling, the order taker seems to be following her footsteps. Food was terrible 2 pieces of meat on each sandwich for the same money save yourself and go to Jersey Mikes or Firehouse.
