Cafeteria type BBQ. Brisket and ribs were delicious. Their pulled pork is done with a mustard based sauce that tastes a little off to me. But everything else was good. They have a server that walks around with fresh rolls that are to die for. We had 5 adults and 2 kids and everyone was full when we left. We have also been to the Spring Creek Barbecue in Mansfield which is closer to where we live and just as yummy food.

I got sliced beef sandwich plate and got double mac and cheese and regretted it later as I could have gotten a baked potato but that was my fault not theirs. They has a nice lady that would come around every so often and offer bread. Drink refills are free you just have to get it yourself. We had coupons for free ribs and used them.

I came in for a to go order on a Thursday and it was packed. The staff greeted me immediately, served me a comp beverage while awaiting my order, and even though they forgot to give me rolls I enjoyed my meal so much! Friendly service, hot fresh and delicious BBQ along with cobbler AND pie??!!! I’m a forever customer!

We came in on Sunday for dinner with guests visiting from New York. We were all wowed by the service at the bar, and the food was very good. They loved the baby back ribs! Kudos to the team working this past Sunday! You can really see they have a good dynamic and they took great care of the customers.

Always nice staff! Love the energy of young adults who work there. Important to tip them also! I wish the restaurant could donate all the hot and delicious rolls that are thrown away almost daily! I only needed 1 dozen, but the baker was going to throw away all of this bread. So, I bought another dozen, and she gave me a box of 12. Although closing, I guess they have to bake what's left and then toss it away! I only wish that it could be donated to someone or an organization. One of the old style stores, and those are the best ones in my opinion. Got a brisket and sausage plate. Really good food. I usually get beans and coleslaw. The fresh rolls are the best I've had anywhere. Cafeteria style.

The customer service / friendly attitudes were so over the top I was almost annoyed at first, but then realized it's great to be treated so kindly. Food was good, but not out of this world. I liked the ribs and bbq sauce had a unique flavor. Turkey was a tad salty but went great wrapped in a fresh hot roll. Green beans and potato salad were as expected. Lots of condiments available. It was my first time here and everyone was just so helpful. Thanks!

My husband and I both got a sandwich and two sides and water to drink and it was $27. It was so delicious. The smoke turkey was excellent and my husband got the pull pork and it was so good. The hot rolls are Delicious!!! We will definitely come back. Plus the restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms.

Spring Creek is a great BBQ been going there for years. Can't beat their $9.95 lunch special 12pm-2pm one meat and all the sides you can fit on the plate. Fresh hot bread great sauce and warm cobbler topped with Blue Bell ice cream. It's a Texans dream.

This place was clean and food was great. $11 for lunch plate. Half a lean chicken, 2 sides, and unlimited fresh hot rolls. Enough for 2 people or 2 meals. Ribs and brisket are also great. I think their chicken is the cleanest and freshest in the bbq area. I'm very picky about my chicken. 😁

I've been dining at Spring Creek for years. Never had a bad meal. All their smoked meats are delicious. My favorite is the smoked chicken with the mild sausage a close second place. Their side items could be improved, but that's a problem with most bar-b-que restaurants.

Hard to not give them a perfect rating. This location does everything right in my book. They always have impeccable service and the staff is very friendly. They quickly became a Sunday favorite of ours. You can tell that whoever manages/owns this place runs a tight ship and takes pride in the type of service they provide. The meat to highlight is the chicken. Their dessert could be improved by placing it on a bigger bowl as the ice cream melts it creates a mess that spills over the edge of the bowl.

I'm from Florida, but was great to have some Texas BBQ. Great atmosphere, Great food and a great staff. Had a great time with my two nephews who suggested Spring Creek. Thanks again see you around Thanksgiving time when I'm back in Arlington.

We both got the brisket and Mac and cheese. As you’re gonna eating they pass around fresh bread. This is definitely one of my fav bbq spots when I’m in Texas. If you have room for dessert they also have blue bell ice cream!

Great food. I have been to this location a few times. The cobbler and blue bell after dinner are fantastic. You will need to bring half your food home. The portions are big.

Ribs and brisket were so good we came back for dinner the next day. My son and I were in town for a baseball tournament so had to try some Texas barbecue. Spring Creek the only spot we needed to check. The pecan cobbler was so good my son got 2. The service and the manager were so friendly. The rolls were the best we ever had and they bring them to your table right out of the oven. Just a great experience and highly recommended.

I don’t eat pork so it’s hard to find BBQ places that sell other beef options besides brisket. I found this location that sells Beef ribs for weekends only and called to ensure they had beef ribs left. If you’re looking for beef ribs, call first and make your way there! The sides: Mac & cheese, green beans (it was one tiny peace of bacon. I took it out), and potato salad is good. I love their beef ribs! It falls off the bone!! and their BBQ sauce. It’s a little tangy and sweet so you get tangy in the beginning and sweet at the end. I had take out so I love that they give the little cups of BBQ sauce and then a bigger cup of sauce. That house bread…whew!! Truly thank you! I will be back!!

But what sent me to heaven was their bread - hot and freshly made, and baked to perfection. The exterior is attractive, and the ambience of the interior is warm and aesthetic. First time here. Wanted some barbecue for dinner so we wanted to try this place out. I ordered the “TwoSome”. It’s a loaded baked potato and a brisket sandwich. My wife had the baby back ribs. The food was good. It’s a cafeteria style service. Nice family atmosphere. The price was comparable with other similar restaurants. We enjoyed it.

A good place for BBQ. Lean is ok, marbled is fantastic. Regular sausage is mild and tasty, hot sausage is well... hot. BBQ brisket, sausage, chicken, turkey breast and ham. Sides are large, cobbler is a piece of heaven. Service at bar, don't forget your tray and silverware. Servers are friendly, gals are pretty. Enjoy.

Really great food. Service was hit and miss. The 'bread lady' that was on shift about 4:00 or 4:30 this afternoon noon was a gorgeous girl with a beautiful smile and was very friendly. There was a lady working the 'extra counter' area that helped me with to go containers for the remaining food that I was taking home and she was just the nicest person! She was sweet and happy and extremely helpful. The males that were roaming around the restaurant and behind the counter were lacking any kind of initiative and left me standing and waiting for help several times. Otherwise the place was clean and organized and the food was delicious. We will be back.

The service here is A+. I really enjoyed talking to cashier. She was very nice. I placed a to go order. I did not have to wait long. I was offered a beverage while I waited for fresh bread. The food is outstanding. I really like the brisket and they sauce is very tasty. The bread is soft and hot! The only thing I didn't care for was the corn but it's just a personal preference and not to say they don't have good corn just not to my liking. Everything else was delicious. Prices are on the high side but still reasonable.

The portions and the sides were generous and very good. I could not finish my meal and wanted to try the cobbler and Blue Bell ice cream, but that will have to be the next time we visit.

Really great BBQ in a casual location. Food is served cafeteria style and the staff is more than willing to walk you through the process. The ribs and brisket had so much flavor, they really didn't even need the BBQ sauce on the side. Only downside...they use MSG and my wife gets migraines from it. So it was a place to go for just me when I am in town.

My family ate here last night for dinner. It was our 1st time as we unusually stray away from chain BBQ. I must say though we were all impressed the brisket, and sausage were great. Traditional sides, and they were all good as well. We will definitely be back and even give the other locations a shot. Over all very pleasantly surprised and satisfied.

Went for a friend’s birthday. They provide wonderful coupons for their food that make the high prices more affordable. The cashiers struggled to know exactly how to handle my transaction and though my husband LOVES their food it is not necessarily my favorite.

The Springcreek on Cooper St. In Arlington was great. The food was delicious. The guys on the line were friendly and quick. The gal at the cash register and the lady at the bakery were super. We had a great meal.

Chopped brisket sandwich was good. Meat wasn’t dry and the bbq sauce is delicious. They bring by fresh bread too and I love bread. They were playing only Christian music but it was also a Sunday afternoon so not sure if that’s a Sunday thing or all the time thing. Not the cheapest but prices made sense based on how expensive meat is these days so I’d say it was pretty fair pricing.

My husband had to work for the holiday, so I made potato salad and beans and ordered meat from Spring Creek. We placed a bulk meat order on their website. I got ribs, turkey, and brisket. The meat came with their delicious rolls. All of the meat was as ordered and delicious. They had all my food boxed up and ready to go, and the employee walked it out to my car. Not a lot of smoky taste to the meat, but that is the way I like it. Great food and great service!

The sweet tea cannister had unsweetened tea in it so I went and told the girl at the cash register and she apparently did not believe me because she took a cup and went and tasted it. Really bad customer service. What would have been my reason for lying???

First of all, I couldn't enjoy my meal due to the flies. As soon as we sat our food down, they jumped in our seats. The chopped beef was hard to chew. The meat was dried out. It's was more hard scraps, not chopped tender cuts. I asked to exchange it and the young lady wasn't happy. The sliced beef brisket was much better. The baked potato was very good.

What happened to Spring Creek BBQ, one of my favorite rib restaurants. Went for lunch yesterday about 12:10 and was disappointed. Few people inside, I now understand why. Person at the front was not friendly, at all. Everyone else was nice. Had the rib plate and the ribs were warm, dry, didn't taste fresh and not the usual great flavors. Ribs were room temperature and tasted like they had been on a warmer all day. The potato salad is terrible. It's like it came out of a Sysco can. Their rolls are hot, fresh, and heavenly and about the only reason we even go there anymore. The staff is outstanding in their customer service. They used to be the best bbq place in north Texas but now they are mediocre.

It was okay they overcharged me again. I got a free peach cobbler again with my points and when I looked at my bill they actually charged me for two of them when I only wanted my free one. I saw it while I was sitting at the table eating and went back and got my refund. This is not the first time that's happened. The food's good the service is good but I would recommend watching your receipt before you actually leave the register.

Ribs looked delicious. I had the baby back ribs, coleslaw, Greenpeace. The ribs were good. The coleslaw slaw was dry, if you like dry coleslaw (in my opinion) the green beans tasted like the can. The can was opened and poured in the pot with salt added. I would pass on those items. The other person I was with had the Mac-n-cheeese. It looked like boxed mac-n-cheese. It was slippery. It needed more cheese. I also had tea and lemonade mix. It tasted like flavored water. Overall, I would only get the ribs and sausage and pass on everything else.

The best thing about this place is Donovan. He was nice, helpful and gave me suggestions. The food? It was ok. The beans didn't have any sweet to them just a small bite. The Mac tastes like it came from the box. I got brisket. It was good flavored but dry. Maybe I should have got the sliced brisket. Overall the food was okay. I may visit once more...not sure yet

Flavor is ok, portion poor so little 3 stripes of brisket, 2 pork ribs and 3 sausage rolls? For $21-25 , value for the price meh. There are some competitors that have a better portion with better taste. The servers and the buns is top notch, there is no competition.

Had to order to go at the counter, instead of going through the line. Yea, no, don't bother! Meat (Chopped Brisket) was dry and greasy. Chicken looked and tasted old. Rolls, always good, so was the Okra. Beans were okay and potatoes min potato salad were hard. Counter help touches the food as she confirms orders, before she opened my orders, I asked her to not. Restaurant was not clean. Dirty tables and floors. Give it a miss.

Today I came to eat lunch with my husband and son. The food as always tasted good and the place was very clean. The reason for this 2 star review would be due to customer service. While my husband and I were ordering our meats for our lunch the employee who was serving the meats assumed perhaps we were poor or maybe trying to not spend money. I am not sure, the issue was about my husband ordering the 2 meats plate and then also asking for a beef rib. The employee who was serving the meats kept on saying he couldn't have anything else with that. Asking if it was a dinner plate then 2 sides or if lunch then no sides. So instead of me picking a choice of meat for myself I just got the beef ribs and was not given the side of sausage I asked for. The employee did not even let me say I was going to pay extra, that money was not an issue. However after being told that many times by the employee with a rude tone and look on his face we just went ahead and paid. I would like to say this employee assumed money was an issue or maybe I was not dressed to afford my meal perhaps? However it made the lunch akward and also not for a good review either. Plus we both didn't even want to eat the meat, only a few bites of sausage and brisket.

Ordered baby back ribs and brisket (pretty sure I asked for both fatty and lean cuts). I got some hella dry lean cuts of brisket; no fatty cuts at all, and I'm not sure if I got enough slices for what I paid. Smoke flavor is there, at least. The pork ribs were pretty good though; could've been a bit juicier. As for my sides, the coleslaw was pretty bland, but potato salad was good... Until I finished half a cup of it. Way too heavy! I did order at around 3 pm; not sure if that has anything to do with why my meats came out less moist. I recommend ordering food here if it's more convenient for you; you're better off going to a further place with better reviews otherwise.

What has happened to the Arlington location, we went in the restaurant at 7:45pm and the place was basically closed. The lights over the condiments were turned off and the serving line attendants were tuned out. My wife ordered a side salad and the lettuce was brown, my serving of green beans was slightly more than a toddler could eat. A year ago this place was 5 stars, now I will never return. Its really amazing how this restaurant could go down hill this much in such a short time, but it has.

Arlington location what's going on... customer service has gone down the drain at this location. And quality of food. Young lady with dirty blonde hair working the register Tuesday night was extremely rude. Never paid us any mind, shouted out " $46.38 ! " as I am waiting for a to-go cup since the glass ones were so dirty with smudges all over them. Then she shouts it again, and I ask " can I give my number for the rewards?" She responds with " Number?". Types it in, and asks if I would like to use one of BOGO coupons. I said yes please. She gives me the total of $25 and some change. Turns away for the 3rd time to talk to a coworker waiting to get her attention, I pay and the register opens and she's still chit chatting with her coworker and then slams it shut. She was about to throw away the receipts until I asked for it. Put an adult at the register please. This was very rude, I thought this was spring creek not McDonald's. Serving portions were terrible. Guy cutting the meat kept saying " what ?" as he couldn't hear us, while the other workers were chit chatting, one loading a to go plate and the other doing nothing right next to him. Ribs had no meat and were full of fat. I asked for BBQ sauce and it seemed like it was inconvenience for him to pour. However I do have some positives to say. The young man loading the to go plate was very nice and patient with giving me my sides. And the bread lady was very friendly and nice. Probably won't be back for the next few months when you get the new batch of hires when school starts.

I was having some work done on my car at discount tire. I decided to walk over for a bite to eat at Spring Creek BBQ. It was midday on a weekday and they were extremely slow. I approached and asked the gentleman for a kids meal, to which he quickly went to quoting policy and telling me I was not allowed to have it. he went on to tell me if he allows me to do it, then everyone else will too. Maybe, but if everyone else is ordering it, maybe you need to take another look at your portion sizes. I am strongly against wasting food, I am a small female with a small appetite. I’m trying to spend money with you and not waste food. I simply went out the door, then came back in and placed a order to go… sat down quietly to eat my food when another gentleman came over and began lecturing me telling me he was losing money. Actually, I paid $10.01 for this kids meal that I am eating quietly by myself in the corner. Without it, I would’ve walked out with nothing. So I don’t think you lost money, you just lost a customer due to the incredibly disrespectful and rude way I was treated in your restaurant. These people put on a weird facade of some kind of family/christian establishment, but don’t be fooled. See below for a picture of my kids meal. It is more than enough food for me and all I want and still will not be able to finish it. Maybe try teaching empowerment to your leaders. Policies are simply guidelines and they should have the option to cheerfully adjust as needed for each customer. I seriously doubt very many people over the age of 12 years old even order a kids meal so I don’t think this is a huge issue for spring Creek barbecue. Leaning solely on a “policy” is your greater issue. This experience was embarrassing and really turned me off of this place.- the cashier that took my order was the only good thing about this experience. She was friendly.

My 95 yr old uncle went there to pick up his ribs to go they were cold. When he told the employee they were cold the employee responded by saying what do you want me to do .What A Response! My uncle is a Vet. And handed the food back and left.Not even asking for a refund. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!

We went to spring Creek pretty late in the evening. Maybe an hour before closing. We got our plates and as we went down the line there were only two glasses with ice in them on the beverage counter area. The ice was mostly melted or at least half melted so I grabbed one and the person I came with grab the other. We went to our table and we started eating. We were having good conversation and the food was pretty good. Peach cobbler it wasn't that great. It wasn't sweet had they just made it a little bit more sweet. It would have been perfect but it wasn't. It was just like it was naturally sweetened by the peach itself. So when we were just eating and the person I came with look down because he had almost drank all of his beverage and there was a fly in his cup. Big nasty fly look like it had drowned on the water that was created from the ice because it wasn't squashed it was all intact and still plump. My friend was disgusted and made a sound of disgust and grab his glass and that is why I looked down at the glass and said " what is it". And he showed me the dead fly in his glass. my friend had drank most of his drink so he went to the front to tell the manager. The manager wasn't outside the kitchen so he told the person that was working out front so she went back and told the manager what she just saw, the fly inside the cup. Now mine you there were only two people in the restaurant that was my group of two people and another person and their companion. So the lady that worked there went back to the kitchen area to tell the manager and the manager sent her back out with a message saying okay" I can give you another drink but I'm not going to comp your food. How rude was that the restaurant was practically empty and the manager didn't bother coming out of the back to. Personally apologize for someone who almost just drank a fly in his drink. Not having an option of choosing another cup. When we came in. there were only two glasses there and so I took one and he took the other one. So I say I will never be going to that Spring Creek barbecue again, the manager doesn't care about his patrons. I don't know who the manager was that night but they did not care. Now who cares about getting another drink when we just told them that we almost drunk a fly. How nasty. Very unprofessional. Very rude, very uncaring and unempathetic.
