This was my first time to visit Freddy's, and I am glad I came! I had a Steakburger, Chili Cheese fries, and a Vanilla Shake, and everything was very tasty. The interior was clean and inviting. The staffers were welcoming and helpful. The prices are a decent value, considering that the quality of the food is better than the cheapest fast food places. Good place to go for a "burger and shake" craving.

Look, good hot freshly cooked food burgers and onion rings, my son had the curds fresh also, milkshakes to die for and excellent service? We'll be driving out of our way to come to this location for our next burger night!

Quality fast food burgers with great ice cream too. The burgers here are different than your typical fast food places as they’re more like Smashburger and their ice creams are up there with Dairy Queen. This location was clean and the service was good.

Normally we enjoy the drive thru but this evening we decided to dine in. The customer service from Tim, Jade and the rest of the staff was exceptional. They went beyond to assist me given that I was recovering from surgery and was limping. The food was Fred and brought quickly to the table. Thank you again!

We were thoroughly impressed with the service we received on Monday. Kim, who assisted us, was exceptional. Despite the busy environment, she ensured that we were well taken care of with prompt and efficient service. Her professionalism and proficiency truly stood out. A group of 15 of us came off a bus into this resturant. A manager came up to the second register and started taking orders. The food was quickly made for all of us and as always was hot and fresh. All of the employees were friendly. The person who took our order for my daughters sundae was super attentive when she told him she has a peanut allergy and he said they will use the second mixer and give it a really good cleaning for us. That is always appreciated!

when I went the place was really alone but the burger was amazing! the fries they gave me were seasoned and crunchy. I love the retro vibe in there and I definitely recommend

Everything was great! We're new to Houston and love the food but people kept saying try Freddy's since we've never been. My entire family liked it, including my sometimes hard-to-please husband😊 The Manager, Mrs Tee, was pleasant and knowledgeable, as was the whole crew this evening. California style burger was 🔥 and the thin fries....yum! the strawberry shortcake ice-cream was amazing. If you eat inside, it feels relaxing and they play hit aongs.

One of my favorite places to go for fresh homemade burgers. Love their shoestring fries and onion rings. Custard are always on point. Drive thru is always friendly and fast in serving fresh food. Prices range from economical to moderate and good portions for the price.

The young lady with pink hair (I believe her name was Briana) is truly amazing!! Today I stopped for lunch and brought a friend along who’s never had Freddy’s. She was very friendly and patient when taking our order and recommended the hot cocoa frost which we absolutely loved! We were blown away after watching her make both our frost, bring our food to our table, and clean the dining room. There wasn’t much of a wait for our food and everything was correct and hot. Briana’s warm smile and service totally made our experience. 🥰 We've already decided to stop by again very soon!!

I have been to this Freddy's countless times. The food is always served super hot (a good thing) and the staff are pleasant. At the same time, I usually go through the drivethru and then usually just to get a shake. Even when no one is in front of me, I'm almost always waiting 5 to 10 minutes to get my shake, which just doesn't make sense because it's not like the shake is cooked to order. You just grab the cup, put it under the dispenser, dispense shake, take customer's money and give them their shake. Why the heck does it always (no exaggeration) take this long to just get a shake? I will end on a positive note: since Braum's changed their chocolate ice cream recipe several years ago, Freddy's chocolate shake is possibly the best chocolate shake you can get. Seriously.

I love Freddy’s! I do recommend this location. One thing I do dislike about the location is that they never want to make my burger well done.

Hands down a great burger. There was great flavor on the bun, patties, ingredients tasted fresh. The fries when eaten fresh are delicious and makes you want more. The milkshake are creamy, flavorful and proportionate.

My 1st time maybe I'm just not used to the smash burger style or maybe it was just over cooked I didn't care for the crunchy aspect of the burger again 1st time so I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to taste like 🤔 We also tried the new taco smash thing.. which we just wanted to give it , it's day in court . As expected a let down , I guess I want one or the other not a combo burger taco ( had it just been ground beef I'd be in ) but again the smash thing , just didn't do it The counter moved fast ( there was a line) and the food speed was more than tolerable All in all I loved the tots but that's not a very high bar but I did really like their FREDDY SAUCE get or ask for the spicy one

Usually go to Freddy's every other month or so. Their prices for the fast food genre, have always been on the high end. Lately the quality of the food has really declined.. The steak burgers are almost tasteless. If it wasn't for the gobs of mustard, they would be totally bland. We don't always get the custard, but last night we did. Came to find out they no longer carry waffle cones. Only the tiny paper mache crust type that little kids enjoy. It's really gone downhill since the founder died a couple of years back. I believe a nearby In and Out burgers that opened up really put the squeeze on Freddy's. Oh, well, it was good while it lasted.

We went looking for ice cream, which is always good. However, not one single table was cleaned and ready to be seated at. Oil stains, finger smudges from previous customers, and spills unmopped. The staff was either on a break, in the bathroom, on their cell phones, or talking amongst themselves. When asked for a table to be cleaned, only 1 staff member cleaned just the one and left the others dirty. No initiative whatsoever.

I had to give it 3 stars overall because the burger patties were smashed so thin that they were overcooked that made the taste of burgers taste different to what Freddy’s normally tastes likes. Two of our burgers were made incorrectly and had to be remade. The customer service was good and they did their best to fix the issue, but overall it just wasn’t the best experience.

WHAT HAPPENED??? This location has always been my preferred location for many years. If working or passing by the area, I always stop to grab a burger, I took the family tonight, and tonight, this place wasn't the best. Many of the tables were dirty, thrash under tables and booths. The portions on our meals were poorly presented and rationalized. The place wasn't packed or under staff. Maybe next time it will be a different experience than tonight.

Used to enjoy coming here for a steakburger, but as of late, the quality and service here has gotten worse. Employees seem disorganized and lacking hospitality. The bathrooms are gross, and the tables rarely get cleaned. I love Freddy's but won't be coming to this particular location again :(

The girls definitely don’t like their job. Terrible attitude. No greeted, not a smile not explanation of our question regarding some custard. They have a poster with a waffle cone but they don’t have them anymore. They served us a shake different of what we order. Horrible experience.

Took forever, person taking orders at drive thru told me to “please wait” - there was 1 car in front of me. I almost drove off then. I waited 20 minutes in total, I got my food. I am a big fan of Freddy’s but today I was extremely disappointed. Not only was the wait very long but my order was wrong. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich adding Mayo, mustard, pickles and jalapeños to go with the lettuce and tomato. Got just bun and chicken.

Service was incredibly slow. They were not even busy. Ended being late to our next stop. Waited 40 mins for burgers! Food was OK but not worth the wait. Pricey for burgers. Won't done there again.

First and only time visiting, I found a piece of metal in my burger. I informed an employee and they asked if I would like my burger remade--No manager present at this point. 2 minutes later, my 6 year old daughter found a similar piece of metal in her burger. At this point, I'm disgusted and scared to eat my remade burger. As my daughter screams about her discovery, coincidentally, a worker passes by and overhears our conversation. I give him the metal and he said he would check with his manager to see what could be done after I refused a remake of my daughter's burger. He came back with a food voucher, good for one meal. I didn't see a manager at any point enquiring or apologizing for our metal findings. I left with my children with no intentions on ever returning. I am really sorry my first experience turned out to be so crummy. I am ruined. *Bonus: The cashier wrote her number down and requested my DIY hair coloring services- I wasn't offering.🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

They have like no one working here, I had to wait about 5 mins for someone to take my order at the drive thru and then when I finally put it in and pulled up, no one would open the window to exchange payment for food. The wait was just too long. Also, I ordered a double cheeseburger only (not the meal) and a mini ice cream concrete and was $14. I probably would’ve gone somewhere else that is just entirely too expensive for such a small meal.

We love Freddy’s however this location 19370 N. Freeway. Was super dirty. Trash on most of the tables and on the floor. We ordered to dine in and got food to go. We were told they had no clean baskets. As we sat and ate. We saw two small roaches crawling in different places. They seemed to have plenty of employees but they are mostly young and seem to spend most of their time talking than actually working. After I was seen taking pictures an employ proceeded to start cleaning the tables and sweeping. I won’t be coming back to this location. Needs to get fumigated ASAP!!!

I visited this location because I had a freebie and also wanted to try it. The establishment was extremely hot inside as if maybe the AC was broken and receiving my brownie sundae and having to eat it quickly because it was melting, was not what I wanted to do. The workers inside the establishment on this day did not seem very attentive to the customers, my preteen daughter tried to receive assistance and they were slow to respond to her.

There was no sweet tea available, so I informed them that I would like sweet tea please and was told I had to order it. So I ordered it from the young man closest to the drinks, went to the restroom, came back & was told it's too late for them to brew it fresh. At 830 pm when they close at 11. Then, as we were leaving, I requested a box for my fries. The young man asked me to wait while he finished packing his order. The young woman working the register told him not to give me a box and handed my bf a bag instead to go. My bf intervened and got me a box & bags for the fries. The young man apologized and said his hands were tied, whatever that means. So I left without my sweet tea but finally got a box for my fries. The food was underwhelming.

Waited almost thirty minutes stuck in the drive through, got to the front, waited a few more minutes, the employee never talked to me, so I finally drove off. Didn’t get my food. It’s not worth the headache.

After placing our drive thru order, we waited right around 7 min before anyone either had us pay for our order or confirm it. The young lady kept taking other orders instead of handing us ours or charging us for it. Other customers behind us drove off due to such a long wait. We even waved a young lady to the window, she acknowledged the wave but did not come towards us, just smiled.

I love Freddys, however stay away from this location. Drink station wasn’t stocked and it was a mess. I also watched as a worker texted on her phone with gloves on and then proceeded to touch all of the food. My stomach felt off for days. The fatigue is real!

It was fine, not great. Burger patties were fresh but was very thin. The fries were VERY disappointing. Fries were So Small and thin, like kids bite size. its as if i was eating lays chips, no room for potato fluff inside of the fry. I wanted FRIES, Not thin, small, fried potato twigs/sticks :( i will say the reese’s and banana CONCRETE (shake) was nice! but i think that would be the only thing i would Possibly consider coming back for. But if i were to see a sonic or dairy queen first, i would go to them instead.

This location is trash now. I came on Sunday and we waited 20 minutes at the drive thru with no one taking our order so we left. We came back Monday (today) and waited 15 minutes before anyone took the order of the car in front of us. The employee look like they don’t wanna be there & lazy. Horrible location to come to now.

I used to come to this location all the time. the burger was just kind of sloppily shoved in a bag, I asked for no mustard, someone touched the outside of the burger with mustard on their dirty hands and got mustard outside my burger and all over the sleeve they served it in. I can just imagine the state of the kitchen if that's how their giving me the food. they were out of cheese curds, forgot to give me my straw and they couldn't hear anything out of the drive thru speaker. this place used to be a lot better, i wont come back for a long time. I understand its hard to find good workers, but management needs to do better

They had one person in the Drive-Thru line and one person inside in line and they told me it would be 30 minutes for me to get a burger. Sounds like they either didn't want to serve me... Or that place is run very poorly

Will not be coming back to this location. The service has gone completely down. I would rather drive further out of my way than deal with this location. The food is always cold now. The onion rings were cold, and they had that waxing coating on them. My burgers were not made the way I requested because the drive-thru operator kept speaking over me and asking if I was done yet. She did not put the lids all the way on my drinks, so they spilled everywhere in my car. This was the last straw for me. The convenience of being close to my residence means nothing if the service sucks.

I took my son here for a treat but the doors were locked, at 6:20 PM(Monday). This was especially frustrating as this location is fairly out of our way and he had to use the restroom, and made the rest of the experience more difficult. I wasted quite a bit of time trying to order through the app, but was unable to due to it being slow and unresponsive. Despite only one other car in the drive through, it took quite a while for my order to be prepared. Unfortunately it was incorrect so I had to return and go through the drive through again. The whole experience took over an hour and my son fell asleep before we got our correct order. The people who took my order and helped me were polite and and the food was still good, but this was still a very frustrating experience.

Just got home with 2 meals…COMPLETELY incorrect! Yep, my fault for not checking before leaving, but I WAITED IN THE DRIVE THROUGH FOR 20 mins, so of course the assumption was that they were short staffed, but the food would be served hot and correct…no so! Our burgers were indeed room temp and the meals we ordered were not correct. The only thing made or order were the root beers with no ice; the Oreo sandwich thingy was even frost bitten. Gotta do better Freddy’s!

The drive thru is ridiculously slow (30+ mins). They never have root beer floats every time I come. Inside is dirty. This location has a lot of improving to do.

If I could leave less than one star I would. Staff was completely rude in the drive through. Seemed to not care and was not kind. Food was horrible. Burners were cold, fries were soggy and our drinks had no carbonation. Had to go back inside to use the bathroom and noticed that the place was not clean. We decided to try this place ,but it’ll definitely be our first and last visit. It's way too expensive for the portion sizes. My husband got the triple burger, and the meat was almost like paper thin. I ordered a chili hot dog, which wasn’t terrible, but honestly, I think Sonic’s Coney tastes better. The fries were incredibly thin, even thinner than McDonald's or Whataburger's fries. Now I understand why there is never long lines in this place .

AVOID. Try smash burgers on the other side of the frwy because they taste better anyways. I saw the long line next door at taco bell go down way before Freddy's could even get half way through theirs. By the time we get to the window the guy says they aren't taking cash. But he did not say this at the intercom when we were ordering because all of us in the car were listening. We waited so long for him to say that and we had no cash on. What a waste of time.

Ordered a grilled chicken club and my order was ALL WRONG!! I waited in the drive thru for more than 10mins just to get a hard fries, cold sandwich and a wrong drink! Yall asked for a sauce that i want but gave me the WRONG ONES! I’m not even exaggerating because this is IN FACT what I experienced. I hope that the manager does something to it’s subordinates and make them aware of what a good customer service is since this is the job yall signed up for.

After waiting for 30 minutes for my burger that we repeatedly told them only pickles and cheese they gave it to us plain. They can’t even follow a simple order.

First off. Order taking staff has horrible attitude. When you go to the window to pay they don’t say hi, smile or say thank you. It also took forever to receive our burgers. We got the cheese curds in double cheeseburgers. The cheese curds are all fried together into a clump, and the cheeseburgers are smashed way too thin. There is in a 1 inch layer of crust surrounding the burger patty that is burnt in an edible. That’s unfortunate because just a little step up in the management would serve this place great.

I typically do not write negative reviews, however my experience today was awful. I decided to use the drive through because I wanted a quick dinner, unfortunately it was not quick at all. After ordering I waited for about 25-30 minutes for my food, even waited a while after I paid. The fries were cold, the burger and chicken sandwich were also cold. I noticed a lot of employees inside so it's not like they were shorthanded. Disappointing.

I went there on a recommendation from customer at my work, who was nice enough to give me a free combo coupon. I ordered a bacon and cheese double burger with no pickles. The following photo is what I received (minus the bite). No burger, no bacon, nothing. Just a plain cheese sandwich. So disgusted. Yes, it was a free combo but if this is how they treat potential future customers, I’m never going back.

Girl taking our order didn't seem happy we were excited to try Freddy's for the first time or she just really didn't want to take our order. Second, we got our order and the fries were almost Non-existent!!! There was no potato in the potato fries. It was legit crisp air. It was kid cut and sized for chocking hazard measures or something. The burger was small and even the THREE onion slices and 2 sliced pickles were bigger than the actual burger patties. Third, the shakes weren't all that great. They were good but not what they rave about. Not worth the price or time.

Ordered 3 Sundae's!!! I got 3 milkshakes instead!!! The drive-thru cashier gave the excuse that "It's hot inside that's why they melted." I was offered no apology. No discount!!! Next time I will drive the extra 5 minutes to Dairy Queen. If it's that hot inside your establishment turn on the AC!!!

Disgusting fish sandwich. It felt like sand paper on my tongue and I suffered from a raw tongue and throat. The veggie burger is better.

Their special is RAW chicken strips, and watered down sundaes. I didn’t know that I had to ask for them to be cooked as when I called up there, the manager informed me to bring them back so he could cook them.

Yesterday and today I patronized this establishment. Yesterday I went to the drive thru, today I went inside. This restaurant is filthy inside. The staff is lazy. Today i also noticed the drive thru attendant(black female with a blonde atrocious weave) using her cellphone. No employee should be using their cellphone while on the clock. Furthermore many fast food employees engage in credit card fraud. They will have their cellphone on a video call while at work at the drive thru window and when a customer pay with a credit/debit card the employee will pass the card over the video chat so their accomplice can screenshot the card information and number. I will not be going back to this location. The on duty manager should be ashamed at how nasty this restaurant is. On Tuesday, I will be notifying the health department or inspection office. The regional manager need to do a surprise visit because the owner doesn't give a damn about this restaurant.

I'm really disappointed with my experience at Freddy's. The cashier with brownish locs seemed completely checked out - she got my order wrong and then gave me attitude when I politely pointed out the mistake. What really took me aback was her lack of professionalism and attention to detail, like not wearing gloves while making custards. Thankfully, another cashier with blonde hair stepped in and was super helpful, but the first one's behavior really brought down my whole experience.

I went to this location 02/15 at night for dinner and had the WORST experience the girl on the mic at the drive thru seemed to be in a rush she got my order wrong charged me for more items than were asked for I attempted to call the store and could not get thru on multiple occasions which is now why I am writing this review I am highly DISSATISFIED the service was so bad she kept speaking over my order when I was ordering and when I got to the window she did not repeat my order just gave a price of $37 I spent almost $40 on an order I didn't even ask for other cars behind me were also leaving the drive thru I'm sure the same thing happened to them

Service was super slow. I watch them package up my food and sat for about five minutes before even getting it through the window. The person taking the Order also seemed confused on me wanting three chicken tenders and told me that that wasn’t an option then proceeded to try to ring me up for a kids meal chicken tender with two tenders and when I said I didn’t want a kids meal offered me the three tenders that I asked for it to begin with. She remained respectful and kind, but overall, I was annoyed.

First time there they couldn’t even take my order correctly had to repeat it again at the window then when they gave me my order it was missing a whole meal had to turn around the manager said she’d remake the entire order so it would all be hot they didn’t just replaced the food that was missing and inside the store was nasty stuff on the floor and it needed to be mopped. Terrible will never go there again.

This location needs to be SHUT DOWN. When we arrived, there was garbage overflowing everywhere, including on the tables. Only a few tables had been cleaned, and my family was forced to sit at the only semi-clean one available. While we were sitting there, we saw at least three roaches crawling around. That alone should tell you everything. This place is absolutely disgusting and clearly unsanitary. Do NOT bring your kids here this location is infested with roaches. It’s shocking that they’re allowed to operate like this. Someone seriously needs to call the health department because this is unacceptable.

The food didn't taste right. And then while we were eating you could see the woman preparing the buns in the kitchen on her phone reading texts or whatever. Then while doing this she proceeded to drop her phone in the tomato/ cheese bin a few times and acted like nothing had happened. Honestly probably the grossest thing I've ever seen at a restaurant. Needless to say both my husband and I got sick the next day from the food. The hygiene is absolutely deplorable at this location. All coming from a girl who LOVES her Freddy's.

Used to love this place until the last 2 visits for lunch. First time fries were burned, and yesterday my Hot dog was ice cold in the middle. Had to go inside for a refund. Manager was the one cooking, restaurant was dirty and the manager was a little sloppy in appearance. Never again

Took 40 minutes to get a burger in the drive throw. I sat at the window for 20 minutes just to wait to pay then still had to wait extra time for my food after paying in the drive through. Doesn’t seem like anyone is working in there besides the lady taking the orders

Im here on to go with my car , trying just to order a hotdog, he is saying that you have to wait 30 min to take your order, thats crazy and so poor service , extremly. Dont waste time to come here.

Totally screwed up the order. Wanted a prime rib burger (at more than 10 bucks), with nothing but mayo and cheese. Instead got an ordinary double (less than 9 bucks) with dripping pickles, no cheese and onions. Don't trust them to get your order right.

Dirty inside... most to all tables are dirty. Ordered a double steak burger with jalepeno cheese (which you pay extra for) and I KNEW we should have checked the bags before pulling off.. but of course my husband trusted the workers and we gor a double burger, no Jalepeno cheese, not even A slice of any cheese... please listen to these reviews... the people working here are just pumping stuff out without paying attention and leaving the main room filthy. 😒
