Had an amazing experience with our server Debbie at the Stonybrook location. She took extra special care with our lunch specials. Food was excellent !! Highly recommended !!! Will be back soon ❤️
Been going here my whole life and while some visits left a little to be desired, those times are heavily outweighed by the positive experiences. Love the staff here most of all, very kind and welcoming, doing what they can to make it a pleasant experience.
Server was great. Food was served fresh and hot. Ice cream was delicious
Arrived with a group of 10 - including 6 young, hyped-up children (and 4 exhausted Moms)- and everything went great! There was no wait, in fact they even seated us before the whole party arrived instead of making us wait. Our host and server were super "friendly" 😉 and on top of all our needs. Everything was clean and organized. We didn't have to wait to order, all the food came out quickly and everything was correct and tasted good. I especially love the waffle fries. The Ice cream was delicious of course (and was included in most of our meals too.) The kids got fun themed kids sundaes (3 choices) with cotton candy ice cream and lots of toppings. The best part was that somehow we even left with still 6 happy kids, AND the reasonable check meant Happy grown-ups. The whole team at Friendly's was great and I'd definitely come back here again!
They are very accommodating for people with special needs. My sister was treated fairly and promptly and they gave extra attention to our table without having to ask.
Loving coming back home to visit and going to Friendly's for dessert! The best Reese's pieces Sundae with extra peanut butter!!!! 😍
We celebrated my son’s birthday after a movie and it was such a fun setting accompanied with quick service. The workers serenaded my son with such happiness and excitement that made the day so special. The food came out accurately and quickly. The food portion size was great and delicious as well. Can’t wait to return! Thank you Friendlys and Luke for a memorable event!🎉
Can't say enough nice things about this location! They're always great and make us feel welcome. One of the young lady managers always handles the busy lines well. Give that girl a raise! She deserves it!
Honestly it was so wonderful. The woman who sat us was kind, she complimented me and my friends’ outfits with genuine awe. Food was positively spectacular, all of us got the munchie mania (I believe that’s what it was called!) and our loaded waffle fries were divine. 100% have always trusted this location from past experiences including this one and will be coming back again!!
Love their share platter with 2 mini burgers, waffle fries & sour cream, and cheese mozzarella sticks. Menu display and items change recently, same as the prices. So make sure you take a look at the menu before going. Place should be remodel, not just this one’s but maybe all the Friendly’s. The indoor dining area it’s pretty old, dark and gives you sad vibes. Even though, the waiters put a huge smile on them to attend and serve you.
I had the BLT. Even that, is not the way it used to be. Friendly’s one of the last surviving eateries from my childhood. Was going to have the hot fudge sundae, but I didn’t want to be disappointed. Been trying to find all the places that have slowly disappeared. Next on the list, Jack-in-a-Box!!!
The waitress was great, taking care of everyone Burgers so bland really,guys go to any other burger joint same price much better burger Yes its kid friendly in a big was , lots of happy kids there My son's chicken and waffles were good anf he liked them No beer , should havr it in order to block out the kid friendliness of it No wine, same Oh the ice cream is good, sundays are really good Like I said the best part was the waitress
this place used to be good but has gone downhill. small portions and a lot of money. very disappointed. wont order from them any more. Missi g food that we paid for. Called up to complain but the manager didnt care. Cole slaw tasted bad and the lettuce was wilted. No wonder they are going out of business.

Highly upset , first time there and i asked for specifics only bcuz my kids have allergies and they put everything with allergies in their food so my kids did not eat it. highly upset.
I visited with my family two days ago, and unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing. We arrived around 4:30 in the evening and were the only customers there. As soon as we walked in, two employees immediately went into the kitchen, leaving their nail polish out on one of the tables. A host came out a couple minutes later and seated us. We ended up switching tables because the first one didn’t have enough space for everyone to sit comfortably. While we were moving, the server stood in the kitchen doorway just staring at us. We tried to explain why we were changing tables, but he didn’t respond at all—just a blank stare. After we sat down, we waited about 10 minutes for service. The server remained in the kitchen the entire time, still doing his nails and chatting with someone instead of coming to greet us or even acknowledge us. When we finally decided to leave, he walked out to our table with his POS system in hand, but still didn’t say a single word. We were the only customers in the restaurant, and the lack of professionalism and basic service was shocking. This place used to be one of my favorites growing up, and I was excited for my son to experience it too. Instead, we left disappointed, and honestly I’m still upset about it even two days later.
Showed up to Friendly’s to grab my pickup order last night 11/28 with my 5-pound chihuahua in my arms silent, calm, bothering no one. Before I could even speak, this woman jumps down my throat saying “no dogs” like she’s been waiting all day to yell at somebody. No greeting, no basic manners, nothing. Just straight attitude in an empty restaurant. I tell another kind employee I’m just picking up my order, and this woman interrupts to bark at her employee “doesn’t matter, the dog can’t be in the building,” as if she cant tell me herself talking about me like im not 2 feet away. Then when I try to say I just need to look at the ice-cream flavors quick for my mom, she tells me my friend can order… as if my friend magically knows what my mom likes? Like im suppose to order from outside? Her energy was rude, condescending, and completely unnecessary. I UNDERSTAND policies. What I don’t understand is someone acting like a security guard at the Pentagon over a toy-sized dog. I got rushed out so fast I left with a sad plain vanilla instead of an actual birthday order for my mom. If she spoke to people like a normal human being, this review wouldn’t exist. I would have nicely put my puppy back in the car, but she chose attitude over professionalism, and it shows. Honestly, I feel bad for the coworkers who have to deal with her every shift. No one that miserable should be the first point of contact. No wonder she’s the only one hiding behind a mask with her nasty attitude.
We've ordered from the Stony Brook families a lot over the last couple of years. Tonight we ordered take out and were really disappointed. We spent over $65 on two sandwiches, mozzarella sticks, a fribble, and a Friend-Z. The Friend-Z was less than half full, it looked like someone had eaten half if it. The fries with my girlfriend's sandwich had some type of fuzz or dust on top of a few of them. I used to work in the service industry so I always give workers the benefit of the doubt, but the worker who gave me the food was rude and dropped my bags, never said "you're all set" or "have a good night" She just turned her back after putting the food down and walked to the back. I honestly can't say I'd be in a rush to order food from this Friendlys again.
I placed an order online and I was wanted to make a modification to my order that wasn’t available online unfortunately. I offered to still pay for what I wanted to modify, that wasn’t an issue I just couldn’t do it online. The first young lady that answered the phone was nice and said she would have to charge me for my modification which was fine I grabbed my card and was ready and then all of a sudden she said she needed to ask her manager. Then one of the managers got on the phone and said she wasn’t allowed to charge me for it and gave me 2 different reasons and was being very rude about it. I replied that I’ve done it before and that I’ve paid for it over the phone before at this location and other locations and she was just arguing with me and being very disrespectful about it saying that “my employees would never do that” accusing me of lying when I have the receipts and charges to prove it. She said her name was “Rebecca” and when I asked if that was her real name or a fake name she said, “I guess we’ll find out tomorrow” because I said I wanted to speak with her General Manager. I mentioned I was a Manager at another large chain and she tried to make fun of my company as well which was very rude. No member of management should ever treat a customer like that, especially in the service industry. It was completely uncalled for and unnecessary. She might’ve had a bad night or bad day, but you don’t take it out on your customers. Very unprofessional and appalling. I truly hope something gets done about this, especially since I just recently moved to this area and I was really excited to try this location and this is how I get treated for simply asking for a modification.
