Delicious beef brisket, potato salad and collard greens. Brisket was so tender. Potato salad had a nice tang. Collards were yummy. Took off bun so was gf.

Ordered the platter where u choose 2 eat items and comes with 2 meat items chose the smoked brisket mmm in so good & smkd wings with garlic BBq sauce also outstanding it was ready when I asked it to be packaged very nice everything was hot & delicious also came w 2 sides w ea. Protein ordered picked out baked BEANS & COLE SLAW both of which would rivaled any side at thThanksgiving table. All in all great meal for the money quality

This place has the barbeque you are looking for. Pork, ribs, brisket and more. The dude that was there the last 2 times we went can burn for sure; the food was great (especially the brisket). Prefer this place over Dinosaur and the mob downtown.

A roadside eatery in the village of North Syracuse Limp Lizard is a great BBQ joint. Pulled pork, brisket, ribs, of course and also many sandwiches and sides. The Cuban Sandwich is a personal favorite and I think their ribs are better than most. Indoor and outdoor seating available and take-out a choice as well.

I just moved to Brewerton from Fla and I have to say this is some of the best BBQ I've had in a long time. Traveled through the Carolina's and Texas over the years and this is right on the list of the best of the best. I ordered the 3-way combo platter the brisket was tender and juicy with a great crust. Pulled pork moist and tender with great flavor. The ribs were lean and fall off the bone. With 2 sides, cornbread, and at least 3-4# of meat I'll have plenty for lunch tomorrow. I will be back many times to try other menu items. Again 5 stars and 2 thumbs up. Keep up the fantastic work.

I always love a roadside BBQ joint; they make me feel like a character in a buddy cop movie. The only complaint I had was that I saw approximately zero lizards, limp or otherwise, and I was kinda hoping there'd be at least one.

Incredible, way better than dinosaur bbq! They had amazing food and vibes. Food came out quickly and had amazing flavor. Prices were reasonable with large portions. They had ufc on the TV inside with AC and outside seating. 10/10!!!

IF YOU LOVE WINGS, COME HERE. This is a one and only public service announcement from yours truly, a Scorpio who isn’t going to hold back. These are some of the best wings I’ve ever had in my life. They’ve got options, fried or smoked. My partner and I got smoked. Every Sunday during the holiday period they’ve got 75c wings per 10 bunched. We both got 20. Not the largest but a decent selection of choices for sauces to go on the wings. We got Garlic Parmesan, Garlic BBQ and Medium and all were just so delicious, love and patience is put into those wings. Everything else was amazing, some thick and flavor filled cornbread. Truly fabulous baked beans. I was full and still trying to take more bites of those beans. $2.50 for all the sides. Most meals between $12-25. Sandwiches, chicken, pork, brisket and beef all available, super chill and relaxed environment with kind staff. Not a bunch of space but plenty enough. They’ve got TVs and play sports channels. Parking is a little difficult to find and is the only complaint I have.

Limp Lizard is a local favorite of mine. I believe it's right on par with they who shall not be named! Truly I have favorites at each and Limp Lizard no matter what we have ordered has always delivered a delicious meal. Most recently we got the Cowboy salad and the Hog and heifer burger. Both were fantastic with the Cowboy winning the rodeo with a variety of flavorful moves that had us fans wanting an encore!!! We also enjoy the large variety of sides they offer, with sweet potato fries and Mac and cheese being the personal favorites. What else is left but to Enjoy!!

Had to try this new place out after hearing about the ribs. This restaurant did not disappoint my taste buds and satisfied my hunger. I ordered a half rack of ribs, and the meat easily comes off the bone. Which indicates that this was prepped and cooked properly, and the sides were generous. I will be back again to try out other items.

This is a small version of Limp Lizard. There is no bar. But we like that. The menu looks the same and the food tastes the same like the full size joints. Parking is on the side or in the back. There's an outside area to eat in as well. I like that you can see the chef coming the food.

Fast service on a Thursday night. Perfectly cooked burger, brisket, roast beef, fries and wings. Super friendly service. Melt in your mouth brisket - exactly what you dream of when you think brisket. A few things would’ve made this 5 stars, even for a small corner joint! The au jus for the French Dip was over salted - even for au jus it was salty. The roast beef too. The rolls for the sandwiches need to be briefly broiled or grilled, or they need to be the type of rolls that are made fresh daily. Garlic & parm wing seasoning was just so-so. Garlic has the jarred minced flavor to it that gives you that sour after taste - fresh or even a good quality garlic powder would give a better flavor. Coleslaw was bland. I love coleslaw and this just had no flavor and was almost dry. Potato salad was perfectly cooked and pretty good, but a teeny bit bland too. You expect slamming sides at a BBQ so these could be better. BBQ sauce nailed it! Perfect. I’d definitely go back and try it again.

Good take out model for wings and barbeque things. Calling your order over the phone can be difficult when they are busy. Nice outdoor patio with picnic benches. The potato salad needs improvement, too chunky and poor quality potatoes. Barbeque sause bar.

Love the atmosphere. It's a biker bar that I could take my kids to. decent food at reasonable prices. Outdoor/sidewalk seating in warmer temps. Didn't use the restrooms so can't comment on their cleanliness.

Nice local BBQ joint. Has a road side feel, interior is small with a few tables and a bunch of picnic tables outside. It's open year round but can get a bit cramped in the winter. Can't go wrong with the Carolina pulled pork sandwich or the chicken wings if you are not a rib eater. Try the different bbq sauces in the restaurant and bring you favorite home.

The wait was a decent amount, but the service was great. The beef brisket sandwich was absolutely delicious. I would definitely go again to try their other dishes.

Good food, enjoyed the sides, and they had a good menu. The hot chicken was not as hot as I thought it could be, but it was good nonetheless. This location is very...intimate and is better suited for lunch/grabbing a bit on the go.

Let me start by saying I'm going back to eat. To begin; their dining area when we went during lunch was poorly lit. They really need some ambient lighting in there, or turn the lights on low. Huge menu with everything I could want. Our server was friendly. The food came out quickly. Their BBQ sauce is great. Their smoked wings did not taste very smoky (perhaps because they were deep fried to order?) The blazin bbq sauce was delicious and they were crispy. Better than most other wings anywhere else. The brisket... *sigh* needs help. Its far too thin and is clearly cut on a deli slicer. I imagine you're losing some bark to the slicer that could have made a full slice if cut by hand. Sides we ordered weren't that great and all seemed to lack salt and pepper. I say all this with it in mind that I'm going to go again sometime. Its solid BBQ at reasonable prices.

Nice little bbq place. You order at the counter and can eat inside or out. Was very quiet when we went. The brisket was good but after seeing my wife's salad. I will go salad next time. We had beach attire on and wasn't out of place. The picture does show beer signs, but they don't sell beer.

Gone there many, many times. Staff is always extremely nice and helpful. Food used to be really good but not so much anymore. My brisket was greasy and not much of it and mac and cheese was dry and crusty. They got rid of collard greens and sweet potatoe fries which was our favorite so we will probably go elsewhere from now on. For the price there are better options with more sides.

Stopped here for dinner with my girlfriend recently. We were a little surprised at how small this location was. It was basically a takeout counter and 6-7 tables in a small space. We decided to order some takeout and bring it back home. We got one of their family combo deals with pulled pork, ribs, a half chicken and a couple sides. It was a lot of food, but we only had to wait 10-15 minutes. Overall I wasn't terribly impressed with the food. The ribs had very little meat to them, the mac and cheese didn't have much flavor. I guess if you want some decent BBQ without having to wait then this is your place. Otherwise, with Dinosaur BBQ in the area, I can't see myself going to Limp Lizard again.

We had an order of the smoked wings with the medium buffalo sauce-they were cooked perfectly, juicy and lots of flavor, only got like 8 1/2.. ? Also got an order of the fried wings with the honey garlic bbq-just awful, more like steamed wings, gooey and lacked any flavor. Came with 11 ? Threw them in the air fryer and tossed them in some bbq sauce. I will say the size of the wings were good.

This more service then food oriented. Let me say I put an order in 4 days ahead of time. Theu asked what time i would like, i asked if 5 would be ok. I was told yes. Being that it was superbowl I knew I would most likely be waiting and I was fine with that. I show up I get in Line and wait. I getvto the counter she asks what time my order was I say 5, she snaps at me and says she's not to the 5 o'clock orders yet and I need to wait. I don't appreciate getting yelled at for just waiting in line to pay. But I said ok and went and sat down. It was already after 5 when I got to the counter. So I'm waiting for about another 25 minutes and they start calling out the orders for 515 and that people need to be in line to play. I go up and ask another woman and tell her that I was in line and told to wait. She apologized and took my payment, the first woman is is complaining that people aren't waiting their turn to pay. Which I politely told her I did wait to pay and you snapped at me. She gets huffy and walks away. That is 2 times I have gotten attitude from that woman for doing what I am supposed to do. I didn't get my 5 o'clock order until 5:50. It was fresh and hot, and they were good. But snapping at your customers is unacceptable especially when I was doing what I was expected to do. It will definitely be a while before I go back to this location. I will not continue to go to a place that treats me as if I am inconveniencing them.

The portions seemed to be pretty good for the price, The Ribs were ok a little overcooked. I tried several sides and unfortunately they all just kind of lacked in any flavor or seasoning. The Mac and cheese was pretty bland and the coke slaw was as well.

The food here is awful. The roasted corn tasted like there were chemicals in it and the rest of the meal reminded me of gas station food. Will not be eating here again.

If not for side dishes I'd still be very hungry. The brisket was half fat and too tough to chew. The table shook while cutting it. Spanish rice was flat. Won't go back.

Wings have very little sauce or flavor with the exception of the blueberry habenero. Flavor was not recognizable on any of the 5 varieties we tried. Service was friendly and nice. Wings were meh! Very disappointing.

ordered through grubhub last night. Collard greens tasted like undercooked kale & corn was overcooked. I personally dont do spice. The cornbread had jalapenos in it. Some probably enjoy it that way, but, I don't. The ribs were good. Personally I would like them with more sauce & this was simply a rub, but they were good. Delivery was on time & accurate.

I use to love this place, but the quality of the good has taken a massive decline. My smoked wings were cold and chewy like they had been heated up multiple times, pulled pork was more fat than pork, burger was undercooked and the sides were just meh. The best part of my order was tje bbq sauce that i was charged extra for.

Ehhh, I’d say there is far better BBQ out there. I had the pulled pork sandwich to-go. A little dry, not enough sauce and the desserts aren’t homemade there so it tasted like store bought desserts. Cole slaw was disgusting. I would say I did like how the pulled pork was separate from the bun so it did not get soggy. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place

Moldy food and beer! When my food came out there was mold growing on the side dish, which was black bean salad served in a small cup. The way it was growing on the top and not mixed in suggested that it had been dished out into cups long ago, maybe even days before? (must've been long enough to get a good culture growing). Then later I realized that there were specs of mold all over the label on my beer bottle, as well as my friend's bottle. So clearly they have a mold issue if even the beer is growing things... pretty gross.

Ordered through Grub Hub. The food was cold and the chicken tenders were burnt to charcoal status. I can't believe they would let food be delivered to a customer like that! It was horrible.

Went to the one on route 11 today for lunch. The ribs were burnt and dry and hard to even cut off bone. The cornbread was old,dry and hard. Mashed potatoes were tasteless. Catfish was mushy inside very thick batter. Add to that a price of 35 dollars for two and they will not see me again. Dinosaur here I come.

This place is a joke. They canceled a $70 Uber eats order on Father’s Day. Won’t answer the phones Canceled at the time it was supposed to arrive at the house of my elderly parents. They will never get my business and I will ensure I tell people I know to never go there!

First, they had no corn or regular cornbread, next they failed to tell me they add a surcharge of 3.75 % for not cash payment until I went to pick up & saw the sign. We ordered chicken quasidilla & got pork, rice & beans tasted watery. Pork is good but Cuban sandwich so greasy I couldn't eat it.

Six months ago I would have given them five stars. But just ordered brisket Rueben… Very very little meat and usually comes on dark rye. Red potato salad was made with white potatoes and collard greens had no flavor, missing the bacon and very dry. Very disappointed. Very skimpy on the meat they give you in a sandwich.

This was our second - second chance we were giving this location due to poor service. I love the one on the West Side but this one is closer to where I live. Long story short, ran out of the food we ordered - and didn't tell us untill we were already waiting 30 mins. This location doesn't close until 9pm so please tell me why the BBQ sauces I could've used to cover the bad taste we're put away by 810pm? The food we obtained was dry and bottom of the barrel and lack flavor to where we could not finish our meals. Plus we had to use take out flatware instead of true utensils. We WILL NOT be back at this location. I am thoroughly unimpressed and will tell my friends to not go to this location either. Save your money and your time and go to a different location.

Was there the other day for lunch,got the chicken philly w/ 2 sides and some wings,basically got a hot dog roll w/ a few pieces of cut up chicken strips with melted cheese on it w/ very little peppers and onions that tasted liked the were re-cooked on the fryer from yesterday's batch for $9.99 and couldn't get regular wings only smoked,not good at all!!! I'll stick to the one in Liverpool where I've had much better food,never going back to that place not worth the $$$ for what they give you!!!

We stopped in last night on 9/24/18. Ordered $67 worth of food and it was horrible. 1 Got the Bad Ass Burger with 2 sides of Mac & Cheese asked for it Medium came out well done and dry. The cook kept flipping it over and flatting it with the spatula. Mac & Cheese was dry and no taste. 2 Got the 3 Way with Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Ribs with Chili and Greens. Brisket was cut thick and very tough, Ribs were very dry for what meat that was on them. The Pulled Pork was ok. Chili was like a giant hunk of hamburger with no taste and the greens tasted like vinegar and spoiled. 3 Got the Jambalaya that was dry and it was like some one just threw in some sausage and chicken and mixed it with some Spanish Rice. 4 Chicken Wing Dip tasted like straight up vinegar

Food is definitely kept past the date it should be used. My salt potatoes were grey...ish. Cornbread is soggy and dry at same time because it’s wrapped in plastic wrap Yet inside is dry so dry. I’m guessing they are trying to prolong the shelf life. Used to be good quality has gone down in last 6 months.

Worst brisket ever!!! Purchased 2 meat platter to go (all brisket). Got home, 20 miles later, opened container expecting juicy, succulent meat. Worst experience I've ever had from a barbecue establishment. Been to this location before and had a great primary of dinner. Went back to try to again. Had to two-way brisket with wings. The brisket amount wasn't enough to make a sandwich. The chicken wings were way overdone. I had a side order of spare ribs half rack so tough you could not get the meat off the bones. Very disappointed in my experience, especially for what you paid all together. My bill is $40 and the only thing I could eat was the little bit of brisket I got. The rest of it is in the garbage. Would not recommend this place to anyone buyer. Beware

I just paid 32 bucks for thee absolute worse rack of ribs I have ever had !! They were tough like leather, dry , burnt, could hardly even pull the ribs apart.. I think the ribs have been cooked all day long and then flash grilled... idk... but they were horrible !!!

We understand they are under new management. We went for lunch 5-29-19. Had a brisket sandwich and burnt end brisket sandwich. Both sandwiches were full of fat. Disgusting. The rice side was different and was awful. The pasta side also changed and it was mediocre, at best. Very disappointed in the new ownership and how things are made and the quality of the brisket.

Had the rib dinner the ribs were burnt the corn bread dry. Use to eat there on a regular bases. Quality has gone down hill with the employee turnover. It was a take out order and the women that was cashing out the order was confused. I was already told my total when I ordered from the cook. She could not seem to be able to figure it out.This is the second bad experience when I had taken out of town guest there the pulled pork was awful. Even the waitress agreed and offered another sandwich that I passed on but appreciated the offer. Sad to see I try to support local business will try Liverpool location next time.

Limp Lizard has great food and is well know in the Syracuse area, however their North Syracuse location does not represent that at all… I’ve tried this place twice as I like to try and give small businesses a second chance. Unfortunately the food quality at this location specifically is disgusting, I ordered ribs and they were really dry, I also ordered the smoked wings which were also very dry as well. My sides were baked beans, which looked and tasted like they had been sitting out all day and coleslaw, which wasn’t edible. The only good thing I can say is their corn bread is always good, but other than that if you were hoping to get some good barbecue, keep looking because this place isn’t it.
