A very great atmosphere. Has security at the entrance to make sure no unwanted guests enter the premises. Staff i super friendly. Bar area is the best to just relax and talk while you either sit indoors or sit in the balcony area and enjoy some fresh air. There are 3 courses you can play and all are completely different themed and fun to do. Isn't pricey at for what it is and will definitely do this again and probably bring a group instead!
We had a great time here, once we got in - as we forgot our id but all was well after the manager intervened. The courses are quite compact and intricate , with styling important to each hole. Spread over several floors with a great bar and friendly staff, it was a good evening and lots of fun .
A visit to Holey Moley might not be a PGA tour, but it's definitely a blast whether you're with family or friends! It was our first time there with the family, and we had a fantastic experience. The venue offers three different courses spread over two levels. We tried the white and yellow courses, which were easy to medium in difficulty—perfect for kids and beginners. Plus, you can enjoy beverages while you play, though it might make those easier courses feel a bit more challenging as you sip and putt! There's a bar on the second level, a spacious patio, and another patio on the third level. If you're ready to party, don't miss out on the private karaoke room. Overall, it's a great spot for fun and friendly competition!
Lots of fun. Artistic place to go. Each section is awesome and funny. You can see art in the walls and each section has details to look for. You can have drinks during your game and you can enjoy snacks after that in the areas to lounge which are also beautifully decorated. Enjoy the sunset and have a fun time.
We were at another restaurant and they suggested this spot. An amazing miniature golf spot with karaoke. I tried their corn ribs which I highly recommend along with their churros with ice cream and fried pickles. All were delicious and the vibe is very relaxing and great for a summer outing. I wasn’t able to putt that day due to all spots booked up but I look forward to coming back and trying it out. Customer service was excellent also. I’d definitely come back here again and a solid date spot option.
We went here for 4th of July and had the absolute best time!! All of the mini golf courses were super unique and creative, and we loved all the golf puns posted everywhere. The cocktails were really tasty and well priced too!! We also got the hot honey pizza and it was so delicious there were no leftovers! All of the employees, especially Chris, totally made this experience one of our favorite date nights! Thank you to the whole crew tonight, we had the absolute best time!!
love this place ! each course is unique, the service was outstanding, everyone was nice and more than helpful. the drinks are tasty and creative. for all my vegetarian friends, they do have plenty food options available for us as well. overall, it’s a great place for friends, family, dates, will definitely be returning !
Girls night out celebrating a few of our friends birthday. What an amazing fun place at Holey Moley Golf Club. The drinks were delicious, the bartenders were so friendly even with it being a busy night and the atmosphere was so fun. Now, let me tell you about Elvis, the guy dressed up as Ketchup! Wow, what an amazing employee! He was so tentative and kept coming back to make sure we were taken care of. He had great energy and even joined in on singing with us. HE DESERVES A HUGE RAISE! He had the best customer service (we all know it's hard to find good customer service in today's times) Thank you Elvis! We will definitely be back!

My son and I had a wonderful time and experience it was his first time miniature golfing he loved it, and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially a gentleman named David he truly made our day special. My son was talking about him on the way home and much appreciation to David once again.
I organized a professional event for 40 people at Holey Moley Santa Monica 2 days ago and it was a huge success! Everyone had a blast. The space environment, mini golf, food and beverage is outstanding. Eclectic, joyful, Immersive. I appreciated the support setting up the event ahead of time and a special shout out to ELVIS the “Pickle Guy” for being the BEST host we could have imagined. The private outdoor patio was ideal for our group and I felt the cost per person was fair given the amount of entertainment received. I look forward to checking out other locations. Thank you!
Such a memorable experience: unforgettable decor, great food, yummy drinks, and fun for all ages. We had a total blast and can’t wait to go back. This just leveled up the mini golf experience in a way I didn’t know was possible. #HoleyMoleySantaMonica @holeymoleysantamonica #buzzybooth
Had a rough Valentine’s Morning and missed our appointment at Holey Moley. Thanks to Terri 🩷 we were still able to reschedule our time and she did it all without making us feel terrible. Great vibes, despite the long line at the door! J.P. upstairs was very accommodating, as soon as we got there he asked if we needed any drinks or food right away! We will definitely recommend and be back here again!
Had a great time with my wife. She had made a group reservation a year ago but was unable to go due to the wildfires. The employee let us apply the reservation cost to our visit today. Appreciated the customer service! #HoleyMoleySantaMonica @holeymoleysantamonica #buzzybooth
Super fun atmosphere and staff too! Bartenders were our first intro to holey money. Kevin and Freddie did not disappoint. They got us some fun drinks quick. Our server Elvis was the best tho. He got us our apps super fast so we didn't miss our golf reservation. He even got us checked in and made sure us, our food, and drinks all made it upstairs. He even checked back on us to get more drinks. Super fun vibe. Other customers were fun too. Everyone having a good time. Was the most lively spot on the promenade that night too. Good music! Will definitely return!
I was super excited to come to Holey Moley in Santa Monica. I had an amazing experience at the Austin location in early October that I wanted to share it with my family. Though we had fun, it was nowhere near the experience I had in Austin. I will say that this location was quite busy but it seemed like everyone was starting on the same course instead of being staggered on the three options. When we checked in we were told our playing rotation and we went up to the third floor. There should be an employee there to guide people because it seemed like everyone was playing the first course they saw and it was a tight squeeze. Play felt rushed at times, but the stuffy feeling created by the overcrowded space was the most unpleasant thing. It was fun despite feeling rushed but not sure I would recommend as highly as I did before coming here.

Nice place . Very interesting set ups for golf . Huge beer golf ball . Dj is very cool . I didn’t like only waiting line and crowd.
Firstly, the courses are amazing! We did all 3. The holes are the best I’ve ever seen/done, and we love our crazy golf courses! Really inventive and detailed. Tons of photo opportunities. The thing that REALLY let this amazing place down was the service from the male on the reception desk, what on earth is he doing there!? He was truely awful. Worst customer service I’ve experienced on our LA trip of 10 days. From the moody welcome, the grunts, the laziness, sheer rudeness to the lack of explanation about things, didn’t direct us to the red course properly so we were wondering about and had to ask him again which seemed to trouble him with a sigh then he gave us 3 ball tokens when we needed 9 meaning messing about after each course finished chasing down other staff members. He was useless, remove him immediately as he’s going to ruin your business. Dude needs to cheer up, learn how to speak to people and learn very basic customer service skills. Strong mentions to the lovely security guy on the door as we walked in. Lovely guy with a nice vibe. I really should be rating this less due to the moody dude on reception but the courses were too good!

Visited on a Saturday night with a group of 6. The area is definitely small / cramped for mini golf. Got very stuffy on the ground level. Bar line at ground level took way too long, and when it wasn’t long, we felt ignored and intentionally overlooked. Customer service in general was not great, with the exception of Eric the Red Magician (more on this below). The mini golf experience, while cramped, is unique for sure. When it’s busy, the courses get backed up and lines of groups form when there isn’t much room to begin with. Maybe they need to do a better job of not packing in so many groups, or limiting group sizes so things go faster like on a real golf course. Going at a less busy time is recommended. The only saving grace to the crowd issue was Eric the Red Magician - he provided much needed entertainment to groups who were waiting their turn at the next whole or even just hanging out. It was a unique and thoughtful touch. He was also the kindest and most welcoming person working there. He’s a great magician, too! Worth going on a Saturday to get a magic show in addition to mini golf! It was still fun and unique in the end, and relatively affordable for a date night in terms of golf fee and drinks. Definitely room for improvement, both worth a visit. Walked to a restaurant close by afterwards for dinner.
We walked in and no one was there to greet us. It was self-seating, but after finding a table, we waited quite a while just for a server to even make eye contact with us. No one offered help for about 20 to 25 minutes. The table we ended up at was still dirty from the previous guests, and it took some time for it to be cleaned. The manager was very nice and clearly doing their best, but the place was definitely understaffed. All the employees looked extremely stressed and overwhelmed, and while they were trying hard, it just wasn’t enough. The food was good, and the drinks were okay. The area itself was fine, very chaotic. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was lacking and overall it didn’t feel well maintained.
It was fun, very creative atmosphere. But it was too crowded. Parents weren’t monitoring their kids who were trying to golf while others were golfing it was annoying at times. The wait times behind some groups was beyond ridiculous. I didn’t rate the food and drinks because we didn’t eat nor drink there because again it was too packed for the not so large environment. I thought the point of a reservation was to have a more intimate experience no?
I'm sure it was nice when it first opened, but it unfortunately has been badly maintained. A lot of electric set pieces have stopped working, and some set pieces have come loose, meaning balls can get stuck. The staff is also unfortunately not very helpful or friendly. Finally, each hole is pretty cramped. They obviously tried to fit as much as they could in a small area, but at the detriment of the game itself. I would go if the games are on offer, but it wasn't worth anywhere near the full price to me.

The service was terrible from the moment we walked in. The staff was rude and did not have a sense of customer service. There is a way to present rules or policy without treating people poorly. The bar staff took more than 3 minutes to even say I will be right with you and they were not too busy to at least look up at the customers. They could chat with each other no problem. Then another employee told us if we didn't start immediately they would be kicking us off the course and not reimbursing my money. Then there was no direction on how to get started. We had 15 people in our party and spent almost $400 just to golf and we were treated like this. The rooms were dark, cluttered and had a smell (like way too many humans in one space) Each hole was cramped into a 4x4 space. The concept was awesome, but the execution not so much. Maybe it was just really busy that day, but most of the staff looked stressed and unhappy. We did encounter 2 staff that stood out, Nicky and Elvis they were kind, helpful and found a way to turn our experience from Horrible to Ok. I know maybe that sounds bad, but we ended up having some fun and being able to complete the 2 courses we paid for. Would we go again...probably not on the tip of my list and not sure if I would want to recommend it to my friends. I was disappointed, because I was So excited to celebrate my birthday with my friends and family there. And it turned out to be meh.

I really wanted to enjoy my visit to Holey Moley, but the food and service were a huge disappointment. From the moment we arrived, our server seemed annoyed to be helping us — constant facial expressions like we were bothering him and rushing us to order. That was strike one. Strike two was the seating situation. We were placed at a high table with only three chairs even though there were four of us. There was zero effort from the server to find an extra chair or accommodate us in any way. It felt like there was no consideration for guests at all — absolutely no hospitality. I ended up standing for about 30 minutes until a table finally opened. Even then, no one came to clean the table for almost 20 minutes. When the same server finally came over, he said, “I’m guessing you guys want this table, huh?” Whether that’s his personality or not, it wasn’t professional. The food was another major letdown. My chicken sandwich was burnt, the waffle fries were burnt, and the only thing worth eating was the burger. The mini golf itself was fun — that’s the only reason this review isn’t 1 star. I’d come back for the golf, but the food and service are a definite no. Eat before you arrive or plan to eat somewhere else after you finish playing.
The idea of this is great, but it’s really not well managed. My boyfriend and I went last night, paid for 18 holes and only ended up doing 9 because the courses were SO overcommitted. We were crammed into a tiny space, people were constantly running into each other just trying to walk from hole to hole. We also had to wait 7+ minutes for each hole because there were 1-2 groups ahead of us each time. If they did a better job managing the t-times, you could phase groups much more effectively. Additionally, it took almost 15 minutes for us to even check into our existing appointment at the front. Love a fun activity, but this place could use some serious work.
